I submitted all my ID etc to Paxum, came back a few hours later and it's telling me I still need to upload it. Bit frustrating, but I've been approved for a payoneer card so that's all good.

I did all that and they came back saying my passport pic had been rejected cos they couldn't see the other page. Resubmitted, awaiting reply.
Just to clarify, does this mean all is well with Payoneer?

I'm not sure - According to AWF The daily pay guy got an email from them saying that they was affected but the guy sexysusie chatted with is saying every things Ok they have other back up options for the UK
I don't have a Payoneer account but it seems if you are having your credits transferred onto the card it should be fine but not sure about the Global Transfer option. If you're going to do the Global Transfer I'd just do it with a smallish amount to test it and see what happens just to be on the safe side.
Thanks Kristen, as long as I can load my card I can always withdraw, I move house in a few weeks so I'd very much like to at least have access to my money for now. Because of AW's silence on this I feel maybe they're working under the radar to get this sorted asap. Let's hope :D

Whatever you do, when uploading documents to Paxum, be it driving licenses or passports, don't crop anything off. Leave a bit a border around whatever it is you're scanning or photographing. When I first signed up, I tried to crop my passport to the very edges so it looked neat and tidy, but it got rejected.

Their site might be overloaded with all the new sign ups! Maybe its slowing the site down - You'll get there :)
When you come to verify your bank - you have to print off all your bank details that you already filled in on- line and then sign it with a blue pen and upload it back to them. Make sure you got a blue pen - its got to blue :)

Yes everything blue velvet said and if you use your UK driving licence then its best to scan it or photograph it just like it was issued to you with the photo ID placed at the bottom , in the centre of the paper licence. That's how I presented mine to them and the accepted it first time.

Its a while since I verified myself with them but I seem to remember being confused if my upload was sent or not just like you are - I've got a feeling your upload has probably gone through and is waiting for someone to check it.
Does it say photo ID pending anywhere? I'd send a ticket just to confirm that they've got your ID - I'm sure I had the same issue - They don't make clear that they've received your upload.

I can't remember what I put in as Job Type - I probably would've put other like you if there nothing more specific to choose from.
I know once someone has phsycally checked your ID you get a verified status just above where it shows you all your IP loggins on the Personal account overview page. I think that your ID has been sent but yes its best to double check with them.
They can take a couple of days to reply and if you don't hear from them in 48 hours I always update my ticket to remind them. Its best to do that rather than open another ticket.
My account is a USD Checking account and then I opened another one in GBP (Its dead easy to do that) I cashed in some credits last night on AW and they due to be processed in two weeks to Paxum but they'll arrive in Paxum USD account so then I'll transfer them to the GBP account and then do the EFT transfer.
I did ask Paxum should I open a GBP account or can I send them in dollars by EFT to my UK bank and let them exchange them but Paxum just said open a GBD account and do it that way so that's what I do.
So yes you want both a USD account because AW pay in dollars and you want a GBP to exchange them before you do your EFT transfer.
I always leave $10 in the USD account to cover the EDT transfer fee.
Make sure you select EFT and not ACH because ACH is for them in the states x

This has thrown me. AW have only ever paid in GBP (UK bank transfer) or EU (ESP Transfer) to me, depending on the service I chose. Why would AW pay in dollars?

Because AW will have a Paxum account as well so AW will pay us through their Paxum account.
Paxum is a Canadian company but yes when I cashed in some of my credits the other night it shows that they will be sent to my Paxum account as dollars Whether that's Canadian or American dollars I'm not sure Cat. I don't care as long as I can cash out :)
Maybe it's cheaper for AW to pay out in dollars than do the mass conversion ? I'm not sure really how it all works

Don't bother with a Paxum account girls. I have had a Paxum account for DP through Boleyn for about 8 months for all my sites and it is a great way of receiving money internationally for a low price BUT today I log in to check my dollars and right above the account is this message :'(

That sucks if our credits are going to be converted to dollars and then converted to pounds. Because of the whole brexit thing, the pound is still really bad against the dollar and it means you'll lose a fair bit of money in the conversion :(

Our money was paid in USD before they offered direct bank transfers as we only had Payoneer, Paytoo or cheque. I don't see that we lose more money because of the weaker pound...we lose when it gets converted to USD but gain when converted from USD to GBP.

Fucking wonderful.
So now, our options appear to be Payoneer card (which fuck knows how many weeks I'll have to wait to receive), pay $50 for a wire transfer from Paxum, or join dailypay, which I can't because I'm already a member of KDB's group, and since I'm already VAT registered, I'd lose another 6%. It appears that we can still get money via wire transfer from Paxum as it's not EFT, but I can't say I'm thrilled to be losing another $50/£39 just to get paid! What an absolute fucking joke.

I don't know if joining DP is the answer...reading posts on here, they may be hit too.
I have a Payoneer account but I haven't used it for ages and can't log in...I contacted them but no response. When I'm back to camming, I'll contact again or just reapply. I didn't have to wait too long the first time.
I do faith that AW will get this sorted soon.

Ok so according to Dailypay (Adultworks Finest Performers), "Our service is 3.5% for Payout On Request and Weekly, but even the full auto dp of 6% is still cheaper than Payoneer or Paxum by a couple of % and we have no set cash out fee, eg the $3-$50 for each transfer by Payoneer or Paxum. And our funds are instantly in your bank." so that might be an option for some. I'm not convinced that the full 6% would still be cheaper than Paxum & Payoneer, but this is what he says. I've written to Paxum asking for confirmation that they can still process wire transfers at $50/£40 fee. My thinking is that if I can get by on savings/credit cards in the short term and bank 3 or so weeks worth of credits into Paxum, I can do a wire transfer and just eat the fee. It would be very expensive to do a wire transfer on a weekly basis. I'll see about applying for a Payoneer card, but who knows how long it will take to reach me, aside from the fees involved.
sexysusie
09-27-2016, 01:43 AM
It's nor cheaper. If you cash out £100 it'll cost you £3.50 if on weekly or £6 on daily. Payoneer will cost £1.89 however much you take. There are extra fees to withdraw from the card at an atm but it'll still be cheaper. The difference is you won't get paid daily and may not get it into your bank. It'll take about 2 weeks for the card to come x

Some ATMs are cheaper than others, I got charged more by Barclays when I used my Payoneer card. It was costing me about £10 a week to have my money through Payoneer.
Are Daily Pay and other groups really immune from this?
sexysusie

Dailypay at the moment is fine. All he's said is there may be some delays while they transition as AW will obviously stop paying him via bank too

They're not immune, but they probably have savings to last on and pay models with until AW sorts it out.
LolaLu

Other groups are not immune. I am thinking DP groups have an account with a 'float' amount in it that they can pull funds from to pay knowing it will get to them at some point.

"The suspension of their services has not only impacted AdultWork.com, both Paxum and Payoneer along with numerous other business are now unable to pay their members, customers and affiliates. Should PacNet be able to resolve their issues we will resume processing with them immediately."
"All payments are currently on hold and we are trialling integration with a new provider. It is our intention to be able to pay the transfers due today (Tuesday 27th) this week, although this new provider will require additional anti-money laundering and know your customer documentation."

Yep. So from the sounds of it, they MAY be able to pay those of us who aren't with dailypay and haven't been paid this week. Fingers firmly fucking crossed. In the meantime, I've signed up for a Payoneer card as it's my understanding that they can still pay you onto the pre-paid card, and Susie says it takes about 2wks for the card to arrive. There's also the possibility of a Paxum wire transfer at $50.
Third option, we all don ski masks and collectively rob a bank.

lol ^ It's looking that way, tbh. Ah the joys of being over your overdraft.
I was due pay from both AW and Vanilla work - and they both look like being late! Good times.
I want to avoid joining a group for as long as possible - lord knows, it took me long enough to escape the last one. I know you can leave when you want with dailypay, but I work damn hard or my money and don't wan't to lost any more than I have to.
I just have one question about the VAT thing. I am already registered as self-employed, is that what they want on that page? I thought sleeping on it would get my head a bit clearer, but as it is, am feeling even more confused.
Thanks ladies xx

Yes you'll need to give them your tax ref number and a copy of your tax calculation which you can either get from your accountant or your on-line account at HMRC.
"Currently these are the only documents we will accept for review:
1. A Personal Tax return stating you are Self-employed showing a profit or a loss. For companies who are not VAT registered a corporate Tax return showing a profit or a loss.
The above two can be in your name, your Business name or if you are trading as an entity it will say '[your name] Trading as'."
sexysusie
09-27-2016, 03:48 AM
Yep as Mistress says a tax return is all they need, you do NOT have to be VAT registered (as most in UK are not). All ladies should have done this already to avoid paying the extra VAT on your admin fee x

No you don't if you're already sorted you just need a bank statement scanned in and ready to sort payment when the time comes

FYI I heard back from Paxum and they can still do WIRE transfers as well as their card facility. They just can't do EFT transfers to UK accounts right now. You have to sign up with them for a wire transfer, but you don't have to have your bank account verified to do it. Still, at $50 a pop, it would be a last resort.
