Just received the Paxum pmt from AW.

I received into my USD account and transferred to my GBP account and the exchange rate used was 1USD = 0.7616GBP (Its tells you what they are using when you transfer between accounts)

I then withdrew from my GBP account to my bank account via a wire transfer. I had to minus off the wire fee (which I guessed at) so I left about £50 off as I wasnt sure what the $50 translated to and the fee in GBP was in fact £40.43.

I dont mind paying this as I have a lot of money being transferred but if I was transferring just a couple of hundred I wouldn't pay it.

Just so you all know the process and the costs incurred on Paxum. It says 7 working days for the wire transfer....Im hoping it will be a bit sooner than that but will let you know

ETA: With the exchange rate and the wire fees its cost me just over £45 to get my money via Paxum

Thank Lola for the info great for it to be explained to us that not used paxum before and like you alot of money on account also I thought £45 ok for bigger amounts I agree but wouldnt do for small. I am still wtg to be verified on there (reminds me need to check my emails), so holding on that AW sort for payment was hoping pending would move today but seems not likely now but hope tomorrow friday latest and then the 3 weeks money like you Blue on hold hopefully do monday when they have back working. But do let us know when you get if it is the full 7 days good luck with it. Always nervy when hard earned money in the airwaves so to speak x

The nerd in me just got curious. There appears to be a Payoneer mobile app you can use to check your balance and transactions. I don't have a Payoneer card (not sure if I'll do Payoneer card of Paxum wire transfer if this isn't sorted by the next transfer cut-off), but if I wind up having to use one, it could be useful to know how much you've got left on your card.

@Lola - so you didn't seen to lose too much on the exchange rate at all - Its the wire transfer that costs the most. Any luck Paxum will have their EFT option back up and running any time soon x

It's easiest to just withdraw all your money from Payoneer in one go...then you don't have to worry about how much is left or something happening to Payoneer and losing your money. It took 3 months for me to get my money out of Paytoo when they had problems.

LolaLu

Yes but if you have £1000 worth of $ in there you cant withdraw that from an ATM in one go x

I know what mean Katy :) These E Wallet accounts don't pay any interest either. Do you know what is the maximum that you can withdraw at any one time when using a Payoneer card at a cash machine Katy? Is it like regular UK bank cards were the maximum tends to be about £300 or can you withdraw more with a Payoneer card?

NEW UPDATE!

Wednesday PM

We are 80% confident that we will be able to start processing UK Bank payments on Thursday. Due to the backlog it make take between 1 and 3 days for all payments to be processed.

If this set-up and integration completes on Thursday or Friday we envisage payments scheduled for 11 October being performed as normal. In some cases, payments scheduled for the 11th may arrive before the backlogged payments.

Anyone in the process of setting up with an alternative provider should continue with that. As demonstrated by this temporary loss in service, everyone should have a backup payment method available.

Contrary to yesterday's update, there is no need to enter address detail at this time, it will not speed up the process. This information will be required in future and will be collected at the point of requesting a transfer.

Again we would like to apologise for the inconvenience this is causing you. We are fully aware of the impact this will be having on your lives and wellbeing and are doing our utmost to get matters resolved.

OOH! ANOTHER UPDATE!

UPDATE - We have been asked to submit our UK Bank payments to the new processing company. This means that they can no longer be converted into Payoneer, Paxum or PayToo. It is our belief that these payments will be effected over the course of Thursday and Friday. Update to follow mid-morning Thursday.

This was written by others a few pages back re Payoneer ATM card...

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how much you cash you can withdraw from a Payoneer card in one go? If it comes to it and I have it all put on my Payoneer card, can I walk up to a cash machine at HSBC and withdraw £1,000 at once? With my regular debit card, I think there's a £200-300 maximum per day.

when i lived in the uk most i could take out was 700 from any machine with the card in a day! xo

The most Iv drawed out in one go was £700 x that was at a NatWest ATM x

GeezLouise also said this re getting CASHBACK on Payoneer card (tho I think the max is £50 in other places like Tesco, its probably best to ask/enquire). In Tesco there is no min spend to get cashback so you can get a small bottle of water and ask for cashback. My local one gives £50. I assume all Tesco's are the same, (tho of course you pay a cross border fee to use the card, POS is only free to US customers.. as advertised on AW site, i.e., as free but it doesn't state that it for US only & not international users.).

I can get a max of £200 at Asda 24/7. Never had a problem with my Payoneer card.

Also was able to withdraw cashback from House of Fraser a few years ago, not sure if they still do it.

We choose the payment method each time we request a transfer, by clicking on the tab for method we want to use.

Went onto models rooms on page 1 and was dead as in there rooms too. I went on holiday for a week was hoping would of picked up by time I came back. Anyone finding the same thing

I don't think you'll be given the option to change those ones back to UK bank transfers unless they're feeling very charitable. I would write to AW and ask them directly.

I dont think there would be any pending payment for the 18th nor the 11th as that is the week we went to do the Uk transfer and had the message come up about pacnet. So I have it all sat here in my holding pot lol just 27th sept in pending x

That's exactly what I've done because I was afraid if I sent them to be processed by Payoneer/Paxum, this would be sorted out by the time they were due to be paid out. The downside is I'll have to go a couple of weeks without getting paid, but at least I know in advance and can plan accordingly.

its really just a bit about luck to I think, I was on for about 5 hours yesterday (much more than I normally do but atleast half of it was in paid only) and I made much more than normal, but then there where periods of nothingness for a while

I'm going to cash out my credits on either Monday or Tuesday night like a normally do. The latest update says they'll submit them as normal on Tues 11th but there might be a back log? I'm a bit confused as to what they meant really because they wouldn't end up my bank for another 2 weeks in any case.

Anyway I don't care - I'm just happy they've got a new processor & the crisis is thankfully over!

Well done to AW's financial team !!! They've done a good job sorting everything out :)
