They can go into group but not private, when we're in paid only, sometimes. It's either that the private button doesn't work or it isn't there, I can't remember but they can select private from within the free preview window.
There are definitely issues and AW confirmed the disconnect issue when I first started back in 2011.

I can confirm I've had this exact same thing happen to me when they can't go straight into private unless I'm in free mode. I thought at first it was just a guy being cheap and making shit up, but he came in and out several times saying he couldn't get into private. I went into free mode and magically he was able to get into private. I genuinely cannot tolerate free mode, so it really puts me off camming on AW at all.

I have had the same problem again and again 5 more times. Different clients complaining they couldnt come private and then being kicked when in group. I cant stand free as well, so i am camming less and less on aw these days. Just hate that as aw used to be my main income for many years, now its my side site. I just hate that.

Just a (horrible) thought...does anyone think this might be AW's way of forcing us into Free Chat? Because I seriously do not get shows these days UNLESS I am in Free, even if these are regs...?

I'd hope not, as evidently if we aren't making money - they aren't either. I refuse to do free chat - mainly because i'm working on other sites/doing videos/pics ect and its so much easier to get these things done when i'm not in free chat! Time is money and i'll go to where the money is rather than waste time in free for a "may get a" show.

Well if this is a forced shit to go free, they will lose me, coz i wont go free at all. Now if they dont consider fixing these glitches, well, then i might go elsewhere and just forget abt them. Im pissed right now....grrrrr

Not being able to go into private from paid only is not a new thing. AW would just remove the paid only option if they wanted to, easier than making the button work sometimes and sometimes not.

Just in a pvt show and in 8 mins been disconnected 4 times. The FPS and BW goes into the red and it disconnects. I closed all my other sites down so it was just AW. :-( I dont hold out much hope of getting a decent response from AW when I mail them about it

Can someone still leave feedback if they're blocked? Had a short group session (long enough for feedback) last night with someone then today i saw he has loads of negative feedback from well established girls saying he left them negative feedback. I want to block him now but not sure if he can still leave me some after that? Have messaged AW preemptively and screenshotted his feedback in case he hides it. Very weird as some ladies have left extremely positive feedback for him too. I think he is one of those fuckers who enjoys baiting girls with high rates as he asked me about an hour ago to put my phone chat rate at £10, then never came in, wasted about 15 mins of my time fucker!

Yes. One time when I was new I accidentally blocked a guy instead of requesting his cam, and couldn't figure out how to unblock him. (Yeah, that was a fun night.) Anyway, he left feedback.

While you're camming and running JCI, make sure you don't have another program running in the background that's using up a bunch of CPU. If you hold down ctrl/alt/delete and go into task manager, you can scroll through and see what processes are eating up memory. Also, make sure you don't have any malware that's using up your CPU. You can download malwarebytes and run that just in case. Outside of that, I'll be interested to know what JCI says.

My cup runs at 20-30% with Skype, 2 instances of jci and the splitter running. Bandwidth runs at 1000mbps and frame rate of 30fps so it's not a Computer issue.

Last night my fps went red a couple of times too. It is most definitely JCI not my computer as I run an i7 with 16gb ram, pro lighting, 10mb upload, and I wasn't splitcamming (for a change) x

Hi,
I have been having issues with disconnecting from JCI for a few days now but tonight was a big issue. 8 mins in a show and 4 connection drops. I was split camming with Babestation cams using Verysoft Webcam Splitter. After the first disconnection I shut Babestation cams down but then had further disconnects. It wasnt the internet connection and was only the JCI connection. I also had Skype running. The encoder for AW runs at 1000BW and 30FPS and usually this runs with Skype and BS cams at approx 20-25% of CPU so isn't an issue. I have messaged AW but I suspect they will be quite useless so thought I would ask you guys. It's hugely affecting my takings now. Any ideas?
Thanks
This is the response:
You have to keep one thing in mind, you are on a consumer grade connection and as such is heavily oversubscribed by your ISP. Contacting them will be a waste of your time unless you have premium business grade connection with support contract. There is nothing we can do about connection issues as it is outside of our network and we have no control over those routers.
---
Thanks,
I thought Istreaming were supposed to be more helpful than AW! Seems not

03-18-2017, 08:07 AM
It's the platform not us (mostly). Not everyone is on a consumer connection, and anyway if things were working fine before and now they're not and nothing has changed our end it's pretty blooming obvious where the problem is. If you read the sm thread they also have constant issues and sm takes no responsibility for them. As models we just have to ensure we have enough sites and ways if making money to cover ourselves when one or more of them is playing up.

Nasty tax hike coming for those on low s/e income - "The government is pressing ahead with the previously announced abolition of “class 2” NICs for the self-employed from April 2018. As things stand, this means many of Britain’s lowest-earning self-employed workers will either have to pay an extra £588 a year, or lose their entitlement to a state pension."

Totally depends on your set up and computer specs. If your computer is struggling (always at 80%+) then try lighting and stopping other processes to give more cpu to the software. If that doesn't work then think about upgrading to at least an i5 processor

I have an i5 processor and superfast broadband. I still get a bit glitchy if I have it set to 30FPS and that's only when running JCI, not splitcamming. I set mine to 20FPS and it seems to work better on my laptop.

It should show on your statement. I don't know if it shows on your credits activity report, it probably comes under direct cam as they pay through there. I have contacted AW before when a show wasn't listed on my statement.

I find the size of my screen (image) affects this. Your upload should be fine if you have super fast broadband but always worth checking with speed test. Use a wired connection if you can. Make sure the max bitrate matches your upload speed, I have mine at the max as my upload speed is faster.

Ive just thought, the amount in credits turnover page is after JCI % isnt it? in which case it just happens to be the exact same amount as my last show. lol
edit: its the correct amount on the credit history page but £10 out on credit turnover..... weird
2nd edit: I searched the aw forum and it is my tip... they never show but you still get paid it on dp so.... weird!

Maybe 2yrs old? Logitech C920. I can see myself fine on my end, and haven't had any issues with the webcam. I was getting guys saying they couldn't see me, or my screen was frozen. It makes me think they're sitting on their shitty tablet on Travelodge wifi, but I was getting more than 1 in saying that. Maybe it was just a series of guys with crap technology and broadband speeds.

Try your max bitrate at the max, which is 1.5. Try image size 800x600. Frame rate 30.
PS preferably with a wired connection and for some reason it helps for my laptop to be plugged into the mains.
