Hi there,
I hope someone can help me.
I find this site to be very disrespectful towards models (or at least to me), & they do everything in their power to stop me from contacting them <sigh>
I signed up again & now even after entering in the verification code & trying to upload the pics, the verification pic, etc. I get this error. "The requested member was not found or is inactive. Click on the 'Search' link above to locate active members that pertain to your preferences."
I tried to find a way to e-mail them & I can't. Even last time when I tried I couldn't & it took me forever. In their e-mail, they said they won't even get back to me if the issue is in their articles.
Every other site (well almost every) let's models contact them. I can't believe this site is so nasty towards models.

Quick one. I am going away for a week next Thursday and I just wanted to know if being offline for a week effects traffic or anything on aw. I am juts conscious of coming back and it falling off a cliff. I know with sites like SM not being online can harbour placement so just wanted to check if anyone has experiences problems with being offline for a week x

It sounds like maybe your profile is waiting on approval perhaps? I might take up to 48 hours.
I've never found AdultWorks customer service to be un-pleasant in any way but they do often reply to queries with a link to the relevant help desk article.
They will get so many people contacting them all day, every day & they just can't possibly respond with a detailed reply to every message they get so they just send the link to answer to your question really.
You need to go back to the help centre - Find the question you want to ask & then you'll see a pop -up that asks if your question has been answered & if it hasn't just click no & then another box opens which lets you contact them. You will need to know your password & I'm not sure if it will let you submit without a user name but you can try.
This is how we all have to contact them and they usually always reply in the morning if you contact them at night.

I wouldn't of thought it would affect your traffic if your're just going away for one week really. Just tell your regs you're going away and they'll chat again when your back. x

Wow Looks like everyone is paying more now that ever on positioning, I've been doing 2 credits an hour and still am quite a long way down. Last year was a 1 credit on the front page in the day time ekkkkk

I have a question ladies. Something I have been wondering for a while regards credits and the statement. I'm baffled to say the least. So I'll use this week as an example. Monday at midnight I did my usual weekly credit transfer for the week before running from Monday to Sunday. The working week for me ends midnight Sunday hence why I do the transfer midnight Monday so all credits are showing right. So this week I have done around 500 credits each day from Monday to Wednesday so 1500. Now when I go to check my credits transfer request form it shows my share of the earnings at the bottom currently minus charges etc but at the top it says you cannot do a transfer as you have spent of credits you have earned. And figure is 300 and something and it baffles me becuase I haven't? It's not even like I could have transferred on the Monday some of mondays credits as takes 24 hours to process and if you look at last weeks statement it only shows earnings from Monday to Sunday so what is going on here.

@TeddyBear You seem pretty clued up and I hope you don't mind me asking but how did you link your profiles in your signature to StripperWeb so that it just says Adultwork or Twitter without showing the actual long link.
I'm not very technical unfortunately.
I've noticed that very few providers actually show their links - Why do more people not link up to their profiles - Is it not thought to be a good thing or is it just down to privacy?
Edit - Okay so my bitly link is working but it looks very amateur & like it if it just said Adultwork like TeddyBears does :)

I can't speak for others but i post here just to interact with other camgirls and keep up to date on our industry. I talk openly and quite frankly in a way i don't want my customers to read, hence not linking my profile or mentioning my cam name. On other forms which i don't use so regularly i link my profile to advertise it.
For links you use BB code e.g. Adultwork[/ url] without the spaces = [url=www.adultwork.com]Adultwork ( www. adultwork.com ). If you do this you can link people to your profile without your cam name showing up on google and leading straight here x

Have you spent on positioning? Sometimes it doesn't come off. You'll notice when you click to do the transfer anyway that the figure doesn't actually decrease any, maybe pennies. But that's what it usually is. If not, look back through your statement and if you can't find anything message AW

Okay so I did exactly like Susie said but underneath the Adult Work link there's a big black box with my referral code in it that I don't want there :)
Does anyone know please what I'm doing wrong because I've been messing about with it for ages now and a just can't work out how to get rid of the box!

If it's for your signature just write whatever you want the link to say, hold to select the text then press the add link button (the little world icon with a link/chain symbol on it) and put in the url and press ok. When you look it will then say [url= "www.linkaddress .com"]Link text [/url ] (without spaces) and will save correctly. Sorry, I just noticed in the signature it puts the " at either end of the url x

Same thing happened to me and I was confused as you are. I think what it meant is some of the sales you've made have yet to be credited to your account. You can uncheck some of the transactions so you don't result in a negative balance.

The negative balance is just how the system that they use works. It tries to pay you for everything you earned & that's why the figure you see in total earn box is always higher. Its not yet took off the Facility fees for Direct Cam/chat/IM & also featuring.
I just tick off the amount they advise and than when it get quite high I just tick the link where it says " tick here and we'll come and fix it " I usually do that though the day before I want to cash out so they've got plenty of time to do it then.
It is confusing the negative balance issue but its just how their system works x

I hate that. When they say stand pls bb I now say show me your money - I don't perform for you for free. They reply 'lol' and usually leave. The others in the room usually back me up by saying 'some ppl don't get that it's free CHAT rather than FREEbies' I don't do anything for them in free any more. I barely answer them, as soon as I stand they leave anyway! Just freeloading timewasters

I don't budge an inch unless they tip me first...they just want to get you to move. They will also ask you to go and get things to show them what you have...I have some things to hand so can show them easily or I tell them I will get them when I next go offline or they can go into private with me now and then I'll get them.

And example : when I did the transfer last Monday at midnight it took all my credits including the ones I had accrued Monday leaving he with a balance after if 0. But how is that even possible because the Mondays credits wouldn't have been available to Tuesday kind of thing. Even when you go on statement the Mondays credits weren't available for transfer it says so why has aw took that into account on the transfer. That issue has now left me with a negative balance this week of quite a lot and it appears I'm going to get paid less for it as it's a whole days earnings out. What is going on

I see other clued up ladies helped you Kristen and I haven't been online for nearly a week so I wasn't ignoring you lol. As for the links being on my profile they are just there for advertisement and assurance I am a camgirl, I couldn't care less if customers read my comments I don't say anything I wouldn't happily say to their face anyway!

I always do my transfer around 11 pm on Tuesday night and usually everything I've earned up till that point transfers if I tick of the negatives values/amounts myself.
If I was to do it dead on midnight on Tuesday then I'd miss the deadline because its no longer Tuesday at midnight its Wednesday.
The only amounts that wouldn't transfer would be say if I had took a booking for Webcam on Tuesday that was still in Escrow.
It is a confusing system but I just pay attention to the amount that is on my Adultwork statement before I transfer my credits, so that I always no the exact amount that's going to be paid to me minus the admin fee.
Edit* Also we get paid 2 weeks later, so maybe that's the reason why credits less than 24 hours still get transfer.

I did the transfer just before midnight Monday so all of sunday credits would be available (as I cammed until just before midnight sunday and this was the end of my week) When I did the transfer as I mentioned on the Monday night it completely wiped my credits also that I had earned on the Monday (which aren't even able to transferred for 24 hour anyway) And I just checked my credit statement for the week and it is missing all of Mondays earnings?? The first payment on the credit transfer breakdown is this Tuesday? So why is there a whole days wages missing. Tried to use adultwork help info to speak to someone but it just gave me auto answers. Can anyone help here?
** also may I add that last weeks credit statement isn't showing the missing Mondays money either?? I literally have a whole day gone missing. Does anyone have an email address for aw or a number to call?

Can you not use Paxum Marina? I used Paxum once for AW when the Pacnet issue was on going & I had no issues in getting paid. I use Paxum to get paid for my US sites. I wouldn't like to chance a cheque really in case it got lost in the international post.
I don't know if its still the same as it was but Adultwork charged about £50 to re-issue a lost cheque so you'd probably not want to risk a cheque anyway x

I linked the the help desk article for you in my post above & I'm guessing they probably sent you the same. I don't really understand what you mean really sorry. I doubt anyone else will be able to help without actually seeing your statement.
Sometimes you have to just be persistent when contacting Admin & it sometimes takes a few go's at contacting them to get the help you need.
Contact them again because they just might have misunderstood you x

I'm using Paxum but I don't have their card at the moment. They can't do check or direct deposit for US models so I have to do wire transfer for a fee of $50 :(

Sorry to confuse you. What I am trying to say in simple terms is that you know when you go to transfer your credits it shows you a whole list of everything available to transfer right. Sorry to confuse you. What I am trying to say in simple terms is that you know when you go to transfer your credits it shows you a whole list of everything available to transfer right. It has completely missed out Mondays earnings and starts from Tuesday. My transfer I did last week only contains credits from the last Monday to sunday so this Mondays credits couldn't have go through with the transfer last week. So there missing.

Yes, I understand that you believe Mondays credits have gone missing.
All as you can do is just contact AW again and ask them to look at your statement. I'm sure they will be a logical explanation though, I've never had any days credits go missing but I can only speak for myself there.
There is no contact number to ring them unfortunately but, when I've had to contact them over something its sometimes taken a few goes to get my issue resolved.

The cut off is Tues 11.59pm each week. If you don't do the weeks tranfer at that time or before that time, then you will have to wait another week for that weeks money.
This is why I usually do mine at about 11.pm on Tues. My week Starts at 11pm on Tues and finishes at 11 pm on Tues the following week.
Sometimes I will cash out on Monday or the early hours of Tuesday but then I lose nearly a day when I come to cash out but I'll gain an extra day the following week.
So - you have to cash out before midnight on Tuesday to get paid for that week x

Your credits will have been transferred because you transferred them at midnight on Monday you say. So all your credits up till that time of transfer will have been transferred.
Its not a straight forward system that they use really.
Check your credit statement again @Goddess - x
Edit* I just had a look on second article and from what that's saying is that all Direct Cam/Chat are available to transfer straight away so I think the confusion lies with that it says - Not available to transfer till 24 hours later- Ignore that message.
When you transfer your credits they go and get processed like we know and it takes two weeks.
It does seem that all the credits you earned up till the time you transferred (inc Mondays) at midnight on Monday are now being processed.
The article also says to only be concerned with the amount earned on your statement BEFORE you click the transfer now button to avoid confusion.
I can't link to the 2nd article which is supposed to explain it in a more simplistic manner on here because the link is too long but in the search box I put in " Negative Balance Messages " It was easy to find and slightly less complicated than the first article. :)

If you message them again and tell them that the first message didn't answer the question, I find I get someone capable of answering.
