Thank you so they ARE functional but with non adult related sites. That said though.. I thought it wasnt just adult related sites that were affected, I seem to recall reading somewhere at the time that all folk who got paid through Payoneer were effected, say even folk who had affiliate sites on Amazon etc.

Its strange (before uploading my query here) I did a search on Google and couldn't find anything relating to it, just links and more links to Payoneer and I searched back a few pages, didnt even find the online articles that were online at the time (not so long ago and which were splashed all over the net) in relation to Payoneer going bust and how many people/businesses were affected.

Can anyone else shed any more light on this, surely I can't be the only one to notice?! (the discrepancies... either that or I'm going mad!) :O

I was still getting paid by non adult sites through payoneer when all this drama was going on. If all they were having trouble with was the payment processor not accepting adult sites anymore, why not just find a new PP like they did with first choice and just use that for payoneer? All I can think is maybe the fees are higher for adult related work? I don't use first choice but i will guess the fees are higher now than compared with payoneer fees?

Yep loads of discrepancies. I used payoneer for a few years with no issues whatsoever. Was gutted when they stopped serving adult related biz (I.e. us!) and reluctantly moved over to first choice as guided by payoneer. They very soon went tits up. So now it's daily pay sites only for me x

Has anyone used the ‘Transfer Credits to Cash’ at the Post Office (in UK)? If so, what happens when you rock up at the P.O.?

I know you have to provide ID (I assume Passport or Driv Licence) but do they (P.O.) know where it came from when you give them the Code (that AW texts). Just wondered if they ask any questions, as in what it relates to, whats its for or if they know!

No but I am going to as soon as i've worked consistently enough to have a couple of months money saved up to come off daily pay. It's a great option x

After posting the above I read another forum post about it elsewhere. The people who had used it said it was straightforward enough, you are texted a code which you show the P.O. They tap it into their terminal and give you the amount that you processed (2 weeks previously). You have to produce photographic ID. There is no link to AW.

The minimum amount that can be drawn per week is 30 credits (max £5,000).

SS do you mind me enquiring which DP group you belong to? (you can PM it if you'd rather not say on here) - also am not sure what you mean when you say you've saved up enough to come off DP. I thought you preferred DP. I would have thought DP was handy/ier?/:O

The original daily pay (AW's finest performers), been with them since 2011. I work only when i need to really, and just lately i've had a lot to pay out for so i need to top up the funds again before i come off dp and have to wait 3 weeks to get my next pay. Yes it is far more convenient, but i'd rather not always have AW linked to my bank account so the new method is great :)

I've used it twice now. They dont ask anything just for ID so the name corresponds with the name attached to the transfer code.

Group Managers are being asked to comply with GDPR, who are deemed to be controllers of data...the requirements for compliance are very onerous, so if you're in a group, there may be changes...the group I am in, is closing to other members. If the managers ignore the legislation, they can be heavily fined. It only relates to EU citizens.

Wow she's closed her page?

Does anyone know if this means that we could potentially get our accounts suspended if we're part of a group that doesn't comply?

The group is still active at the moment but there's a notice on the group page that it's for a limited time only, it will go back to just being Amica so she isn't a data controller. You can see the group is group of the day on the home page.

There are a whole range of things that the group managers now have to do, and AW is asking them for information to show that they are complying. So I think we will see other groups closing but the large ones may have enough staff/capacity to jump through all the hoops.

It shouldn't affect any of us if a group is closed by AW, our accounts would just be handed back to us, I imagine.

Daily pay is fine. I am pretty shocked tbh that KDB's is closing but think as usual AW have probably gotten the wrong end of the stick and run with it. If anyone is a data controller it is THEM as the platform, and not the individual performers or group owners. But that would take a lot of looking into so i don't blame her if she is thinking sod that.

I doubt AW have got the wrong end of the stick, my partner says the new rules are a nightmare in his office. I don't blame KBD at all, I would do the same.

This isn't about individual performers, we don't have access to anyone else's data...the group managers most definitely do.

The group managers have been emailed and told that because Adultwork give them access to our data, they are joint data controllers with them and they also have to abide by the law. The group managers have been given a list of things they must do.

I wonder how these new rules will affect Brothels & Escort Agencies who now seem to routinely take copies of workers passports & Driving licences. I wonder if they will be made to employ Data Protection Officers ?

I think when we leave the EU - the rules will be pretty much the same as they're just meant to protect us.

I think businesses & companies are meant to safeguard all our personal information by storing it on separate servers & having to do that & employ a Data Protection officer just would prove to be too expensive for most of the groups on AdultWork & according too the GDPO wiki page fines can be up too 20 million Euro if they don't comply.

But since we are leaving the EU, does this still apply to UK girls?

We haven't left yet and there may be a delay in not being subject to EU rules and we may always be subject to some EU rules, it depends on what is negotiated and which the Government adopts into our own legislation (there's a Bill to transfer the whole lot and a clause to easily get rid of what they didn't want - granting Henry V111 powers).

We are still in the EU and all EU regulations etc are still in effect.

Anyone else's JCI not going above 20fps lately? I have superfast broadband, and i7, and haven't changed my lighting at all (in fact I added some just in case) but no matter what i do I can no longer get anything above 20fps consistently. When i first log in it goes all the way up 1 by 1 to 30, then comes right back down again. It also keeps going up and down 19 - 23fps. Seems to have started around a month ago.

What is happening to me is a bit different.....some days my fps wont go above 14 and some days will be steadily be at 29, but on one computer, i keep disconnecting even though the fps is high, on the other, if i dont have good light, i stay at 8 and never drop connection.....so weird!

I never noticed the new beta site before. I wonder if it will just be the site layout that changes or if we will get any new profile features? I would really like the ability to be able to block certain customers from viewing my profile altogether & being able to block customers by their actual IP's would also be useful.

I wish AW would get stricter and stop allowing the customers having several profiles. It's only the weird, stalky ones that feel the need to have loads of profiles all at the same time.

I show up higher when i position, just as on the current site. The problems i see are:
- those offering just IM or just phone aren't visible
- there doesnt seem to be a daily featured page
- the 'next/previous' profile feature distracts guys and encourages them to keep scrolling through profiles instead of staying on yours.
- There's no info that comes up when you hover profile pics of girls who are available. So all a guy has to go on is your picture.
- This also means there's no way for him to know what you offer unless he goes to your profile.

And from a purely nosey perspective you cant easily see how many are in group and private, what % of those are UK etc.

I started on AW last week and is it true that bidding is necessary to make some earnings? Especially at the beginning? Without bidding I sat for many hours making nothing while that one hour where I placed myself first row (for 20 pound, I was not sure how it worked) I had a private for 60 minutes :o

I had to position years ago to get any calls, nowerdays its no so simple I find. I go to first or second row and get no calls for hours. Go to 4 down on the front page get calls. Some days if I don't position I get calls and some days don't....

I find it's not worth positioning that high unless you're lucky and make it to the first slot, since then you show on the main page. When it comes to positioning or not, it's bound to be different for all of us and depend on what regular following we have developed. I personally always pay for positioning. There is more than one way that guys can see who is online and the layout is different in each.

I never bid on Direct Cam positioning or offer free preview and I still get shows. When I have bid on positioning it doesn't seem to make much difference for me.

I do sometimes bid on Direct Chat positioning when I'm on cam and seems to bring better results.

You've got to be careful when bidding for positioning - I once missed out the decimal point on my bid and ended up paying about 150 credits but I was lucky and I made it back in the hours because I ended up on the front page. I was gutted though when I realized my mistake.

I find that bidding can help sometimes, but other times it won't make a difference at all. I alternate, sometimes if it's very dead I will bid to give me a boost, but I bid 2, 3 or, very very rarely, 4. 20 is waaaay too much. You really don't need to bid that much to be high in the first page. Good luck! x

sexysusie
11-06-2018, 03:56 PM
I only position for alternate hours now. I used to bid 3 and was on the top row, now it's closer to 7 to barely get on the 6th so i only do one hour then do 10 mins of free in the next hour. The way things are now with positioning if you do it regularly it works out that you're actually paying over 50% of your earnings to aw rather than 30 - 35%!

Kristen_Krystal
11-06-2018, 04:06 PM
20 credits seems a lot especially for someone new on the site as newbies are normally busy anyway. You can also pay for 24 hr featuring which you can buy for as low as 3 credits a day for cam and the same for phone chat.

Classy_Katy
11-06-2018, 10:52 PM
I find daily featuring only helps with movie sales, rather than cam shows, and you have to buy the slots far in advance to get them cheaply. Daily featuring for one of the services will get your Twitter link shown though. I only pay for hourly positioning.

Everyone does something different, you just need to find what works for you. Girls here will have regulars and that affects the need to position.

Yes, there's no point paying more unless you're aiming for the first slot, which then gets you onto the home page.

I guess I have to make sure I get regulars right? Any tips :)?

Kristen_Krystal
11-08-2018, 02:19 PM
50 credits & over is a crazy amount to bid. You might as well bid for the front page slots, especially if you've got other profile stuff to sell like pictures and clips. If you bid for the front page and someone out bids you then you get you're money back.

I think the main ( front ) page slots start at 20 credits and sometimes they're empty because no-one has bid so that might be worth having a go at for you.

I never pay more than 3 credits for my daily featuring. If you want to know when it's cheapest to buy then just message me and I'll tell you. I'm not doing it publicly cause it will make the price go up :)

I'm pleased that AW are going to be updating their sex shop. It's about time. There was never really anything exciting in there to add to the wish lists. They're saying that they're be stocking more quality items :)

I've managed it before but I wasn't bidding a crazy amount for it, I was just lucky and it was years ago before girls bid so highly...I can't remember how much extra I earned but the increase in the number of guys coming in was very noticeable.

For the amount you have to bid now to maybe reach it, it probably isn't worth it in case you don't make that slot.

You're talking about bidding for hourly cam positioning to get on the homepage, right?

If you look at the home page there are many features shown, so you may get people answering thinking you mean one of the other ones.
