I have been trying to set up SMS chat on a Canadisn phone and everytime I am asked to verify by replying to a text message, it doesnt work. Anyone have any info on verifying a non UK number for SMS chat?

They will be...it doesn't take into account justcamit and directchat fees etc
Ahh. So it's just the straight up: this is how many credits men have given you?

so i was transferring my credits, and then suddenly i got this notification that said if i transferred it all my balance would be negative because i had spent some or all of my credits, so i checked the little tick box and around £10 was removed from my money. i have no idea why, i didn't spend a penny on the site?
i tried to contact AW but they just referred me to the help part of the website which basically says the same thing- that i spent my credits, i know i didn't.
can anyone help?? i don't want this to happen again. i haven't tried to feature myself or anything :(((

Right under where it says you have spent e credits there is a little link that you gotta click to do a credit reversal, click on it and see what they say.
I was getting that same message and I clicked it and it cleared.
I know this is a kind of vague answer, but I hope u can find it

i think it was the credit reversal that i clicked when some of my money disappeared. maybe someone did a chargeback? i just find it annoying how i can't even contact them to answer my personalised query??

It's not a chargeback...it's to do with the justcamit, directchat fees and any credits you've spent on featuring etc.
If you look back through this thread you'll see that this question has been asked and answered may times.
It's practically impossible to work out but it will be right, and I get it everytime I make a transfer.

ive spent 0 credits on featuring and the maximum fee i was expecting was 35%, 5% for JCI and a 30% admin fee. in the credits statement 5% is automatically removed so naturally i add up my credits and *0.7 to get what i should rightfully expect as my cut. is directchat something separate that i hadn't accounted for? im only familiar with 'directcam'.

It's right hun, nothing to worry about. AW system fucks up when a few measly pennies are out of place and gives you that message. All you have to do is click where it says or uncheck one or two small amounts and click again.
Directchat (phone chat where they call you and pay per min) takes a slightly higher % than justcamit (camshows), the % depends on what you charge so is practically impossible to know but the whole amount taken from your pay usually amounts to between 32 - 36% x

i don't use directchat. i've only been using directcam. i'd love to be comforted but i still don't understand wtf is going on. this feels like a robbery. i was not informed they'd be taking extra money from what they led me to believe would be mine. if they don't give out 65% they shouldn't say they do.

It isn't worked out that simply...I have seen it explained really well somewhere but I haven't been able to find it. I think part of the problem is that whole numbers are not being used.
Have you looked all the way through this thread and searched the forum? The person who can best answer your question is no longer a member here. Or maybe join the adultwork forum and ask the admin there (not Adultwork admin but he knows a thing a two). http://adultworkforum.com/forum/index.php

Well, Clips4Sale is the best site for selling videos. But if you're already a model on AdultWork and you just wanna go ahead and make the most of their other features (such as selling movie clips), you might as well try it out. :) On AdultWork you're not allowed to have music in your clips, so make sure there aren't any in yours.

I don't have music, but I'm not camming on aw. Well, I want to give it a try, but I still can't figure out how to do it. So maybe I won't cam, I think I prefer just selling videos.

When I try to connect it says Server Status : Your profile is not set-up as offering group OR private sessions
Do you have an idea how to fix that? Their site is just so confusing for me.

I'm guessing you haven't put in your settings for directcam.
Click on the my details tab then on the drop down click on edit profile, then click on the webcam tab, then click on edit directcam settings. A new window opens up.

I cashed out my credits for the first time today.
Ouch!
I wish they took their cut off on the same page that the take the JCI percetage off of. It would of made it easier to absorb when I saw that I was actually going to get $35 bucks less then thought I would. I don't even want to see how little I will be left with after payoneer takes its cut too.
Ah, well. I guess you get used to it. Streamate is a lot like Las Vegas. You never know how much money you are really losing to them because they are doing everything in their power to keep you naive.

I use the UK bank transfer, which has no fees as I'm in the UK.
With the Euro bank transfer I was charged either £6 or £9.
Payoneer isn't so bad, about the same as the Euro bank transfer.
I got a shock the first time I saw the admin fee taken off too but you can't complain about the % they take when you compare it with other sites!

Oh I totally agree that it isn't something to be complained about. I was just more personally amused by it because I am so used to being kept in the dark and in a state of learned helplessness by Streamate that Adultwork's mature attitude of 'we have faith that you are adult enough to figure this all out for yourself' just kind of threw me off! I have a question about AW and Payoneer.
I cashed out my credits and on AW it says that they have been transfered to Payoneer but on Payoneer I can't see anything about when my AW payment will be coming through.
Is that what normally happens? :O
Classy_Katy
04-01-2013, 06:51 AM
Go to "my details", then "credits & vouchers, then "Transfer / Withdraw Credits (Previous)", click on previous. You'll then see pending (waiting to be sent to Payoneer) and transferred (already sent), with the dates to be processed/processed etc.
When I transferred on a Tuesday, my payment would be with Payoneer on the Monday almost 2 weeks later.

From the help centre:
Why has my profile been removed, or not approved?
In order to maintain the site's integrity and safeguard the members within, we have to adopt a near zero tolerance policy for persons that are in breach of our Terms of Use.
When you register you acknowledge that you read and understood these Terms of Use. Any update to the Terms is indicated by the date that appears at the bottom of every page. On each visit to the site you should check that this date has not changed since you last viewed them.
The most common reasons for removal are:
Your email account is no longer accepting emails.
When the site sends you an email and we have received a bounce-back from your ISP, because they are not accepting emails sent to your email address your account is automatically suspended. You may re-activate it by re-verifying your email address using the links on the Login Page. From there you may also change your registered email address in the event that you no longer have access to it.
You removed yourself
There is a button on the My Details page that says 'Remove Me'. If you click it, you are removed. If you click on the Reactivate Me link on the login page within 1 month of doing this your details will be restored. After that, all your details are deleted.
Duplicate Profile
Members are allowed one offering services profile and one Seeking Services profile. If they are part of a couple they are allowed a offering services couple profile too.
Should any member be found to have more than one profile it will be removed with the earliest registered profile left active - assuming this is not a repeat offence.
DirectCam Terms Breach
DirectCam providers who abuse the DirectCam facility by not providing live interaction, devalue DirectCam to existing and prospective new members. Such activity causes a decline of the viewing membership which in turn devalues the earning potential of all members offering this service. Any members found to be abusing the DirectCam system will be subject to whatever action is deemed fit by us and will most likely result in deactivation and loss of credits accrued. Specifically Members are not permitted to post messages or banners within the Freeview section of DirectCam and/or run pre-recorded shows. Other common DirectCam reasons for removal are:
- Showing pre-recorded video
- Pretending to be be TV/TS when your not
- Showing or offering access to minors
- Sending a blank image/banner or no video
- Defrauding members by offering to meet when clearly you are unable to
- Laundering funds via the tips facility
- Showing someone on cam who is not the person on the profile (swapping hosts around on the same profile)
- Performing an illegal act or inciting illegal activity
- Accepting or enticing members to pay outside the credits system
- Using VPNs, dongles or IP geolocation tools to appear as being in a different country to that which you actually are.
Other Terms Breach
Putting a phone number, email address or website URL in your profile, (or picture/movie), in a field that that is not specifically for that information. In other words, there are specific fields for phone numbers, email address and website URLs, if any are found in areas other than these specific fields your profile will most likely be removed.
You will also recall that the terms state that all members are expected to operate in a fair, open and honest manner. If you have a Private Gallery and/or Movies but are not offering any other service then that is fine, tick the Erotic Content tick box on your Registration Details Page, but, if you say that you are offering services such as Escort or Webcam when in fact you are not, then your profile will be removed. Tactics such as this, to increase exposure of your Private Gallery and Movies, will not be tolerated.
Your profile is a duplicate of another or a re-registration of one or someone that we have already declined membership to.
We don't believe your profile is genuine. Unfortunately the Site is targeted by those wishing to gain income by posting fake profiles with pictures taken off other Sites.
We don't believe the person in the profile pictures is the person that clients will ultimately meet. AdultWork.com is not exempt from "bait and switch" scenarios and as of January 2013 we have refocused our efforts to rid the Site of profiles set-up for this specific purpose. Similarly, profiles where the pictures are so vague or generic as to not actually identify someone may require further verification.
Some profiles are deleted retrospectively, so active and appearing on the Site but then removed for no apparent reason. This could be because a new registration has been made that is connected with your account which has either supplied fake ID, identifies your profile as a potentially suspect in some other way (e.g. part of a group/collective but not in a group).
If it becomes apparent that your profile is part of a co-operative, agency or is being maintained as one of a group of profiles, then your "manager" is required to create a Group on the Site. Your profile may be removed until such time as they have done so.
Anyone using an automatic script/macro to update their profile or effect automated logins will be removed.
We received SMS 'STOP' Keyword from your mobile number.
This STOP keyword received will automatically deactivate accounts to ensure that the person who is in possession of that number has subscribed to this service. If you have mistakenly sent this SMS to us, please contact us via the Help Centre so that we may reactivate your account.
The most common reasons for removal are can be found here.
Profiles are never removed for "no reason" nor as a result of unsubstantiated member complaints. It will always be down to some direct or indirect action you have taken or the same by who ever created/manages your profile and perhaps others to which it is linked.
Remeber: AdultWork.com is a club. We are not required to offer you membership and reserve the right to refuse it.
If your profile is active but not appearing in search results, read this.

Did you mention in your profile a twitter, email,, phone number, contact details, ways to contact you such as "see twitter for my number" etc, or mention scat, animals, children, schoolgirl etc? They often simply deactivate for these reasons.
Have you done any camming on there yet? If so and you showed nudity in free chat and were caught this is also a common reason.
To contact them go to the help centre, type in a search word, click search, then close the help topic that comes up. After that a feedback form will appear "did this article help you?". The quickest way to contact them is to fill that form out.

You can always join daily pay and have it the next day :)
But once you have waited the first 2 weeks for normal aw pay it comes weekly (as in, weekly you get the money you earned 2 weeks prior), so it's just getting through that first pay period :)

I understand now why so many girls from AW are on DP.

But yeah if you don't want to spend that 6% on the above/ daily pay, it's not so bad really waiting the 2 weeks. AW always pay on time and once you get into a routine it's a regular as clockwork x

Unfortunately that's not true. AW chargebacks are (thankfully) rare, but they do happen, and when aw think or know it is fraud/ stolen card etc, they will take the credits back from you. Not so bad if it's £20, but I know someone who had over £200 chargedback :(

It's a pain to navigate, but I don't think it's a shitty site. :) It's a great site (free chat ain't mandatory...woohoo!) that actually cares about their models enough to pay models a high percentage (which is how it SHOULD be)...as opposed to taking most of our money. You just have to pay attention to the rules, that's all.

Maybe we should point out that the this is NOT the email address for Adultwork...it's the email address for the Daily Pay admin. They may be able to help but it's not the same as contacting Adultwork, and they may not appreciate being inundated with random emails to do with Adultwork LOL.

I know it's the daily pay admin, but I gave her the e-mail so she has a reliable person who can help her out with her inquiry. She should be able to have a live person from AW help her out. That person is very helpful with AW related issues, and would obviously know more about the site than any of us would. AdultWork needs to have their own contact e-mail anyway, like other cam sites do. I don't mean just filling out some 'Got a question? Fill out this form' box. An ACTUAL e-mail address.
I edited my post and will PM her the e-mail then, if it will make everyone happy...lol.

Q2)How can I change the writing that pops up when I go over the nickname, under the picture on the main page?
Classy_Katy

Some girls might call their step-father "Daddy". A lot of girls engage in taboo chat and shows on AW.
Do you mean your strapline when you're camming? That is in your directcam settings where you set your prices & audio choices etc.

HI guys!
I was wondering if you could help me! About 2 weeks ago i have applied and started to work as a Cam girl for the first time. I have replied to an advert from Gumtree.
I didnt know the difference of Studio or Website, and now two weeks after starting to work and ask what days are the payment done, the guy called "Steve" went quiet, no emails from him (and this was the only contact i had from this person).
The awful this is the he claims to work for AW, even tough i have never seen my profile on there (i tough it was because i asked to block my area).
I am so worried as i am owned £££ and i dont know what to do.
I worked for him because he offered £100 for 8hrs and £50 for 5hrs each day, so it seemed reasonable, as i didnt want to go online for free and wait for someone take me private.
This Steve email is
[email protected]
He claims to work for AW , he sent me the link for Justcamit and this is the software i was working with.
After i read the THREAD BELOW i believe i been mislead by this Steve.
I want to join AW now...is it possible? Can someone help me?
Thanks for the attention guys.

Classy_Katy

We just get paid for the length of time that they come into group, rather than a full minute.
Sometimes justcamit chucks guys within the 1st minute, other times they just want to see what the girl looks like and catch a glimpse of some action without paying for a full show with one girl. I think they just click on all the girls in group to take a look and maybe stay with one they especially like.
