1. Data entry for a car show company (team? idk?)
2. Waitress at an old folks' restaurant
3. Receptionist at a hair salon of maybe two weeks before the bitchy manager's mean attitude made me quit: calling me ugly and telling me to at least tryyyyy to do something with my hair and makeup when I had clearly straightened it and put on eyeliner and was pressed and presentable and DAMN good at the job. :P Maybe I'm still a little bitter at that situation
4. Carts/Restaurant/Cashier/Catering/Floral employee for a High-end Grocery store
5. Waitress at a different old folks' restaurant
6. Stocker at a Walmart overnight (this is when life went ultra down hill haha)
7. "Bookseller" at College Bookstore
8. Customer Service Rep at a major home improvement store
9a. "Bookseller" at same College Bookstore
9b. Camgirl
9c. Student

Now: HR Assistant/ Cam girl Both P/T

Then:
Cyber Security Exec. Asst. P/T (1 year)/ Cam girl F/T

Cam Girl F/T (1 year)

Accounting Manager - Auto Collision (1 year) F/T / Cam girl P/T

Office Manager - Car Refinishes (10 years)

Admin Assit. III - Telecom (2 years)

Stripper Denver/Houston (2 years)

Before that misc teenager jobs

I keep a vanilla P/T job to combat the isolation. I don't think about how much they are paying me, I see it as keeping my sense of socialization up and meeting new people. Makes it easier to live a double life and no gaps on resume and other perks. I feel like Karen from Will & Grace.

I had a job in retail before I moved here to Germany. Now camming is my solo income. I want to sell videos, but I haven't anyone to record them for me. So yeah, only camming for now :-D

Before:
- student (got my bachelor degree)
- while studying, working in a clothingshop (4 years) and afterwards in a chocolate store (1year)
- having a slave and getting offered a part of his loan (1 year)
- being a fetish model

after my study, and no job in sight, I made up my mind and went camming. I never see myself getting back to an "normal job/paycheck", I love being my own boss and being able to controll the houres I work (and that there is no set limit to what I earn)

Camming has been my only income since I finished my study

You all are inspiration to me. Working my vanilla job today and I am hating it..,but the pay is good. I have a Master's in healthcare..so until I get my cam/clips income up to par... I am stuck with either a split life or no money. Healthcare is the only other thing I have really done long term. In the past couple of years made a few adult videos/ fetish clips and started camming this past year . Keep your fingers crossed for me that it works :)

My old roomie was a P/T and oncall nurse who did some camming on the side too! She's switched over completely to camming so I know it's possible! Good luck Sophie.

A grocery store for 3 days when I was 16 lol.
A department store from 2007-to present. Just like 8 hours a month.
I cammed like twice in like 2008 and started camming a little more and making clips in 2013.
In 2012 I did housekeeping in a nursing home for a few months. I wish I would have stayed since it was full time and five mins from my house but made me so sad to see how the cna and nurses treated these people.

I'm a RVT (registered vet tech). I work part time at an emergency clinic and cam on the days I don't work. However, it seems that I am losing out on a good bit of money when I work at my vanilla job. I make $15 hr with an associates degree. Some time within the next 3 months I will be cutting back to working like every other weekend at my vanilla job. I love what I do and need to work so I don't have a large gap on my resume if I ever go back to work full time when the kids go to school.

I'm living entirely off my cam income now, so it's definitely doable. I used to do freelance graphic/web design; various retail jobs before that.

I still occasionally do design gigs when they pay well, but they don't come along often. I actually prefer to cam, so I don't go looking for them.

My income comes from two sources:

1. 75%% camming
2. 25% private tutoring for high school students.

Before I did camming, I worked two other jobs: One as a hostess at all kinds of fairs (industry and commerce), the other as a librarian.

Right now I have a vanilla Barista job that I work part time, kinda for cover and kinda because even though the pay is CRAP and I mostly hate it, I'm still too scared to quit. I feel like I do better camming when I'm not feeling as pressured to do a specific dollar amount financially. My vanilla job may be peanuts but it's an OK cushion, just in case, and it's good for taxes. My biggest [non]-problem right now is how to lie to basically every single person I know about how I'm able to swing rent on a nice apartment and travel on the reg on what appears to be a shitty service industry income...I can deal.

I'm 22, I started doing Financial domme stuff when I was 17. I know I know naughty girl. Then phone sex, camming, phone sex camming. Always did clips here and here.

The only non online, non sex job I had was at a local store. First I went into stores and rearranged all the stuff. Then I got hired as a cashier. I ended up getting fired because some bitch was sick of competition so I say thank you. I hadn't done camming prior to that and had limited time at home I had privacy.

oof, let me try to remember.....been working age for.....15 years now!

-Jamba Juice employee
-barista at a small coffee shop
-event booker/contract administrator at Griffith Park
-Receptionist at a vet hospital (literally the most depressing place to work....believe me, you're not seeing the cute, cuddly, HEALTHY animals when at the vet)
-various retail jobs, including the awesome one I was at for 2010-2013 right before camming
-Receptionist at salon/spas
-Manager of salon/spas
-Makeup artist
-some other unnecessary jobs I've forgotten
-seller of panties back when Craigslist had the erotic section...a few sessions of foot worship too
-currently.....a serious student.

The more customer service related jobs, I typically was there for 2 yrs on average. I don't like jumping around). It was pretty much all full time since I was....19? Camming is my only income currently and I'm terrified.

i worked in the social work field using my degree for years in various positions; counseling, social work, mentoring, etc. i've waitressed & bartended as well before that, did retail from 16-17 as well for side jobs but always worked full time in some sort of fashion with the special needs or behavioral population even before college. i also spent time volunteering in the rainforest in south america mostly rescuing sea turtles. i work multiple jobs now in the adult industry and love it.

A little bit of everything. Retail, tech support, restaurant, tech support, cleaning. Never held a job very long due to problems with depression and a few years ago I became determined to make working from home work for me. Starting camming on webcams.com in 09, quickly got scared off from camming due to their horrible traffic. Then tried some vanilla work from home, never made enough. In 2010 I started trying cam sites and then a few more in 2011. Have been camming full time since then. Worked a couple more crappy vanilla jobs since and will now be waaay more picky about the kind of work I get if I start working outside the home again.

Before I was camming I was a wedding planner and did some time in retail... NEVER AGAIN! I HATE dealing with brides, though I was in an area with a lot of "old money" vs "new money" problems. They were constantly trying to out do each other every bridal season and it was awful. It made the show "Bridezilla" look like a walk in the park. Anyways, now I contribute to an extreme couponing blog, cam, do clips, and I'm about to start an etsy store :) life is good.

In high school and college, I had mostly retail/grocery store jobs - Fashion Bug, grocery store cashier, chambermaid during the summer tourist season...I did some nannying as well before and after college graduation. Worked at a snooty private daycare with a room of 2 year olds (NIGHTMARE!) and worked nights doing data entry for a rocking climbing gym where my husband taught classes. Nannied for two years after that, then got hooked up with a job as a receptionist and admin. assistant at a snooty insurance and investment company. I HATED that job with a passion, but the money was desperately needed at that point.

Moved back to my home state and took advantage of the rather costly Bachelor's in Psychology and Counseling degree I had and went to work as a social worker. Got laid off because of government cutbacks and took another job in the same field doing in-home work with autistic kids. At that point, I had just had my daughter and my elderly mother was watching her so we didn't have to pay for daycare. That stopped when my mother fell down the front steps of our house and broke her arm, shoulder, and leg. I ended up quitting my job the same day we found out I was pregnant with my son. I tried a variety of at-home work, but we never made any money at it, and supporting 5 people on one social worker's income (hubby's), was just sinking us further down into debt.

I started doing PSO work on NiteFlirt two years ago and immediately started bringing in some money. I stuck with just PSO work on three sites, until about 6 months ago, when I mentioned camming to my husband. He was on board with it and that's when I finally started earning enough to dig us out of the debt pit we were in. There's finally light at the end of the tunnel, and I'll never go back to a vanilla job again. Not to mention, I am FINALLY able to use all the of my Bachelor degrees - Psychology (guys be cray-cray!), English Lit & Journalism, and Liberal Arts. I still dream of being a book editor and an independent bookstore owner, but I'll always be camming and doing PSO work. It's far too much fun for me to stop!

I've been in the work force for 23 years. I've been a file clerk, receptionist, data entery tech, and worked for a greenhouse. I still work for the greenhouse 2 days a week and love it, I'll keep it just for sanity purposes, plus I love plants. I'm glad I stumbled into camming, I always wanted to do something like this and I love that I can support myself doing so.

Nothing. Camgirl was my first job and actual job.
Ok if I don't count that during highschool I was helping my grandparents with their store and during the vacations I was "working" as seller, there.
Future job? Probably a business. I started one now but I am at the investment steps, I hope to break even in 2016 and profit should come from 2017. I graduated business university and I am now practicing my knowdlege.
Can't get a job after camming. Because I haven't been used to be employed ,so I couldn't stand to have a boss. And anyway I don't have experience and everyone would look strange at me if at 30 I would go to get a job and my CV is a big blank page.

Director of Development for a local non profit arts organization (actually 3 of them).
Distinguished Events Director for a national organization. Fancy way of saying "fundraiser"
Believe me, having to sit and listen to people call me bb and ask to flash pussy is a lot less annoying that catering to wealthy groping men who caused the financial crisis talk about how "poor people and darkies" are ruining this country *shudder*

We do fundraising for folks like Vets, ALS, American Diabetes Association, local folks who need funding for losing homes or children w/ terminal disease of some kind and so forth. Much more rewarding to give back in this way. Love the Arts, but the elite just don't get it. Im proud of you for getting away from that. Shows great character on your part.

Before camming I was a professional nanny. I loved working as a nanny as if gave me more freedom than typical jobs, I love and adore children, and I felt like I was giving back. Making $20/hourly was nice, but it still didn't allow me to get ahead financially. Camming is much more profitable, but I really did love my other job very much! I sometimes want to go back to nannying part-time, but then I wonder what would happen if a parent found naked me on the internet. It wouldn't look so good. The fact is, I'm still the same person. And I was a wonderful nanny. *sigh*

Society is so sexually repressed. And what someone does in their personal time isn't anyone's business. But I'm moving ahead in my life, have a ton of freedom, make my own schedule, and that is what matters to me. :)

Funny enough, the arts crowd were great people who really just wanted to support the organization, The national organization that helped kids with cancer was filled with the WORST kinds of human beings as supporters. But, it was also in a resort town, so, it was a lot of peoples "pet project" to prove they had a soul to their seasonal neighbors.

hahahaha! Ah well, we do it in a small town. Nothing fancy around here thats for sure, just small town folks and sponsor them. Growing up in New York with people who were in the arts; well lets just say, their motives were always a bit questionable and too frilly for my blood. I guess a few may have grown up in public housing lol! All kidding aside, I truly believe The ARTS are important. Oh thats funny about the a-holes you dealt with in the national organization that helped kids with cancer .. Jeez..what a world. Well it's about the kids and needs met by folks who help by do gooders all colors of life, so I guess that's what really matters in the end.

-various serving jobs
-barista at starbucks
-cocktail server
-bartender
-stripping
-travel agent (LOVED this job, got to book trips & learn all about different destinations! They even sent us to Hawaii on a work trip)
-callcenter for a pharmacy benefit manager (most recently) ugh, that was the worst!

We literally got screamed at over the phone all day, everyday over stuff that was out of our control. I got called every name in the book. I couldn't take it anymore, so I quit in June & currently I'm just camming & looking for a new job. I have an interview with the airline Monday, but they hiring process is about two months. I want to start camming again on the side, I kinda missed all the social interaction. Having to go to a job everyday & do the same stuff gets really boring. At least it gives me something to do when I'm not working & excitement in a sense. I thought about going back to stripping cause it was really good money, but you have to deal with a bunch of crazy bitches & I'm just not really prepared to deal with that now. I've grown up a lot since my stripping days.

I also want to be a nurse, so I'm getting my prereqs for that, but it's not going as fast as I anticipated because I'm paying off a mountain of debt & simultaneously trying to pay bills & for school. Adult life sucks!
