Iam use to wearing tons of makeup in daily life, so its not that much diff for me to do my makeup in real life or on cam.
Best tips I can give, if wearing lipstick and eyeshadow always start with the basis: put o daycream, than put on foundation (If you use it) you can blend it a bit with the daycream, than cover your foundation with powder espcially at the places where you are going to use eyeshadow/pencils and lipstick (i always cover my eyelids and around eyes, mouth and nose and forehead with powder; nose and forehead because I tend to have more oily skin there - tzone, which I want to prevend from getting shiny).
If you got the basis with foundation and powder youre makeup will last so much longer!
If I dont wear powder, my eyeliner will fade and my eyeshadow will go down immediatly. The colours also look brighter on a basis of foundation+powder
If you wear mascara and eyeliner, dont use foundation at or around youre eyes, only wear powder there, to help your mascara and eyeliner to stay up longer and not to get running
If you use lippencil, get the point of the pencil above or for a slight second in a flame from your lightner!
This will make the pencil more burnt, and will make the colour stand out more and last for houres so not for the whole day!
I use the most cheap lippencils ever made and they stay on longer with a bit of burn thanb my most expensive I sued to wear.
Please note that the colour will darken if you burn it a bit (dont put it in the flame for to long becx it will melt away, you only need a tiny bit of melting of the surface of the pencilpoint)
you will prob need a colour lighter than you use to buy... If you first use powder on your lips, burn your pencil a bit and put it on it will stay for a half day (I eat carefully though since I am used to wearing lipstick alld ay long, but it will stay really really long, I only reaply once a day even with camming)
If you use an white eyeliner at the inner line of your undereyelid (above your underpasrt lashes) your eyes will look more awake and much bigger
If you burn your white eyepencil and put it on it will stay much longer and the colour will be more intense. It will look great on cam but in daylight it might look weird to wear such white lines
I make my eyes really dark with natural earth tones (brown, darkbrown, black), fake lashes, and lots of mascara, and my lips nude to make my eyes stand out even more.
I always go over my natural lipline to make them look even bigger (I have an white line around my lips which are still lipline but are missing the lipcolour, I fill those "lines" up with my lippencil)
I use a lot more black at my eyes than I would for daily life, but the light make it all seem to light, so I have to darken it all up

PS the "holding youre pencilpoint in the top of the flame" advice doesnt count for eyebrow pencils, bec it will mak youre eyebrows look Really fake (since the colour will be Way to intensefied), use it only with:
lippencil (to colour in youre lipcontours, and fill up with the rest of the pencilpoint that isnt burnt or only a really tiny bit burnt to make the colour blend in nicely (from dark to lighter in the centre of lips)

37638376393764037641Oh and about false lashes, if you are not yet used to wearing them/puting them on... you can try buying them and cutting them in half; then put them on at the outer space of youre eyelid. This way it will make it easier for you to glue them on (since it is quite hard to glue them on when being a large onepiece, and they are more likely to get loose at the start or ending of the lashesstrip when being on youre eye, because of the natural round curse of youre eyelid)
Only wearing a small piece of the lashes will still make youre eyes look bigger, and when only wearing them from starting at the half part of youre eyelid to the ending part of youre eyelid will make youre eyes look catlike/more almond shaped
Put on a ton of glue when it is the first time to use lashes;) sometimes the glue doesnt stick well, you just have to put a new layer on it and let it dry before trying to add it to you eyelid again.
The first time you use them is the hardest time to put them on, keep that in mind. After wearing it for a day, the lashes will take the form of you eyelid, and the next time you use them they will look more natural and they will be easier to make them stick (because they will have a good curve for your eye and will less likely getting loose by curling up)
when first wearing them the strip[/place were you put the glue is very very thin, when you let multiple layers dry at first (2 or three) it will thicken and when you add the 3th layer of glue it will stick more easier to your own eyelids (also wait untill the glue has dried a bit before putting them on)
When you want to clean youre eyelashes bec to much mascara has been cluttering up: just remve it with you nail, pulling/scraping of the mascara very carefully and not to hard. You can also curve the lashes a bit if you remove the mascara by bending it with your nail the way you want it to curve (like curling present-ribbons/lint with a sciccor.. if that makes sense)
Do not try to use water or fluids to remove mascara it will tear down your lashes (at leasts it did with mine)
I highly recommend Eylure Naturalites number 80 or 100 to get big dramatic glamour lashes (I currently use 2 on top of each other, for camming, in real life it looks craycray big and full though.. One looks great and naturall in real life too)
I recommend 80 and 100 bec the lashes have a little spare room in between them, it makes it easdier to apply them and they will look more natural than lashes with a full strip - you can see the strip more clearly when it is fully covered with lashes. The free space in them/clusters of lashes, makes it easier for the strip to take on youre own shape of youre eyes. I use mine a whole month day after day. they are great quality

Last one is a example of lashes who are more difficult to aply and will look more fake in real life (you prob wont tell on cam if you cover the glue and strip up with eyepencil or eyeliner)

Great advice IvyRose, thank you so much :D. I have some false eyelashes and I don't like them at all. They are the highly rated red cherry brand. They are way too long and fake looking for me. I tried them yesterday and they were so long they actually hit my eyebrows:O. I'm going to try the Eyelure 80's.

thanks Carmen Iam glad it is helpfull...hihi that sound wayyyy long :D
The eyelure can pass for naturall, I get asked many times if those are my natural lashes by woman in real life :D (only useing one layer that is XD)
Oh by the way, thinking about makeup..
If you are into BRIGHT and colourful for youre eyeshadow you should try out M.A.C makeup
the pigments are amazing, and very bright while appying only a tiny layer. It lasts way long, bec you only have to use a little, it is higher prices than the makeup you can buy at the drugstore (you call it that way?) but it is worth it, and not as highly expensive as for example dior or chanel
For mascara I always use maybeline or rimmel. Since I can afford it right now I will try out Dior, since I <3 dior so much... I wonder if it will make a diff only than the price. we will see... I use foundation and powder from Dior ("Nude" range) since I started out earning good with camming, and it is amazing

I love bright, colorful eyeshadow for cam. I usually use bare minerals but you have to use a lot to get it to really show up. I have always heard MAC was the best. Back to Amazon to fill up my cart some more ;). As for mascara, I tried Tarte and it was expensive and horrible. Flaked off all over my face. I like Loreal Voluminous but I also want to try Dior.

I bought a mascara that claims to look as good as false eyelashes. It's called Fablash Readytowear mascara. I bought it on HSN.
The idea is to coat the lashes with the mascara, then use the fiber tube.. It does work.
I switch between that and very thick, long, false lashes. Nobody ever questions if they are real, or not.

Don't feel like you need to spend a lot on falsies. I buy 10 pairs at a time from EBay for £0.99! There's many different styles to choose from and the ones I use last for multiple uses.

^^ I second that! A lot of times I don't wear any makeup, (yesterday being one of them), and I seem to make just as much, if not more! I do have flawless skin, though, so I'm sure that helps in HD.
I wear full makeup only when I'm feelin' it.
Otherwise, a strong red lipstick does the trick, if I want to wear some color on my face.

I have four words for you guys: MAC.Full.Coverage.Foundation.
That shit will cover anything and gives you an awesome, smooth canvas to work on. I use it because I have ridiculous genetic dark circles that are hard to cover with any other type of foundation and look like hell under my lights. But it's good. Really good. Also, it lasts for a looong time even though it's pricey. My last one lasted nearly a year because a little goes a really long way.
Now I have some more words lol:
Dior Extase mascara (I don't do falsies, my lashes are long so I can't even tell on cam when I wear fake ones; waste of time)
Urban Decay Setting Spray
White eyeliner- put that shit on your lower waterline to make your eyes all big and bright
Maybelline Gel eyeliner- a cheap and awesome product for the necessity that is the CAT EYE, which I do on my eyes every shift.
Also, if your brows need work, work on them because they make a huge difference to your face! Wax them, shave them, trim them, fill them in.
Now does anyone know of some miraculous oil-absorbing powder? I use MAC blotting powder but it really isn't enough. I have to powder like every 30 minutes when I'm on cam.
