I noticed a guy who had previously been a friend has his profile now set to "private."
Never seen this before.
Does this mean he blocked me or something? Just curious.

I've sent emails, I've DMed them on twitter- my conclusion is that mygirlfund does not give a FUCK about their models. I love how I sent an email two days ago, an email yesterday, and a DM three hours ago yet they can't get back to me- or bother refunding a customer his money. Yet, they can go on a twitter spree retweeting pictures of half clad skinny white girls (most recent rt? 5 minutes ago). I just want my fucking money so that I can focus my attention elsewhere.
Eta because I'm an angry bitch right now. @mygirlfund just tweeted:
Avalon 17 sent us a gorgeous self shot for our Tumblr contest. Its so dreamy...
To which I replied:
@mygirlfund It would be "dreamy" if someone could get in touch with me to resolve a member refund. Any ideas how I can make that happen?
Hi, I'm Avalon17, (Ava17 now)... the half clad skinny white girl.... thanks for that.

@MellyMay, yes it means he blocked you. Last month I had a regular "friend" of 2+ years block me without explanation. It happens. Guys on MGF are some of the strangest I've met.
@Avalon17, it seems by your comment that you have taken offense to what I have wrote, but if you re-read the original post that you quoted from me, you will see it has NOTHING to do with you. That post was to demonstrate how little support actually does for models. Specifically, that support thinks that posting retweets is more important than resolving the issue of a member who needed a refund on his account/a model (me) whose account was temporarily deactivated due to them not issuing the member said refund in a timely manner. Also, it underlies the belief/experience of MANY girls (myself included) that MGF gives preference to models who fit a certain image and that they are not as friendly towards minority models- specifically, plus sized women and women of color. But mostly the quote of mine you quoted was written to express my frustration that MGF admins were too busy dicking around on twitter and were ignoring billing issues.

I guess I'm permanently banned from the GOB. For telling a girl that if she wanted to find a girl off site, she can go to the MGF Twitter or the Tumblr and search there. Since we're allowed to have our social media names match our MGF names.
Apparently pointing that out and saying that's a way to find people (the exact same reason they changed that policy) gets your blog removed by the admin, and that's the final straw. They said they gave me privileges back, but I haven't been able to post in there again yet.
Oh and they tried to tell me that other girls flagged it, which is a fucking lie because if it had been flagged by other girls, it would have gave reasons. If the girls didn't put reasons, it still would have said "Here are the reasons your blog was flagged." The very fact that I had to message them and ask them why a blog that was posted on Monday was taken down Wednesday night proves that I had no clue what was going on.
Oh that and I haven't been flagged by other girls since last year. Every single one of my blogs that barely breaks the rules is taken down. Meanwhile, girls are throwing around member names in the GOB right now (granted for a very good reason, but still).
Sick and tired of feeling bullied.

^I'm sorry but that doesn't make ANY sense to me. Considering the fact that MGF ADMINS interact with MGF models via twitter and tumbler, it's absurd that you can't mention that little fact on-site. I would understand not being allowed to mention it in the main blogs or public areas of the site (although even that is pushing it), but the GOB? Weird. I don't even bother reading that drivel. I don't think you're missing much.
Here's my story of how *absurd* support is. You know how if you flag guy profiles for phone numbers, skype IDs, dick pics as profile pics, etc, NOTHING HAPPENS? I've seen the same profiles with the same contact info in them for weeks and months and they're still up. So clearly, support is not moderating guy profiles because many girls have complained about the same thing (flagging a guy's profile but it's kept up as-is anyway).
A few days ago I saw a guy whose status was "I prefer Paypal, add me on twitter." Obviously a HUGE no-no. It's one thing to have a dick in my face, but explicitly trying to conduct payments off-site, and especially on such a dangerous platform as PP, is what I would call an egregious offense. I tried sending him a message advising him to take that shit down, but my message didn't go through because of a terms of service violation, since I also wrote "Paypal" in the message. I flagged, blocked, took a screen cap of his status, and emailed proof to support. 1. I'm not trying to get my account suspended for mentioning a naughty word. 2. They guy is stealing money from under their noses, I thought they'd like to know.
I got a VERY snotty email back from support to not waste their time opening a support ticket for that, and next time to just flag the profile.
OKAY, BECAUSE FLAGGING THE GUYS WORKS SO INCREDIBLY WELL, RIGHT?
Swear to God, next time I see something like that I am just leaving it the fuck alone.

The admin doesn't give a shit about anything. They like to tweet all this bullshit about women making money in a fun way, when really they just want women to join, get some quick cash, and then they don't give a fuck if she stays or not because her "new girl" freshness has warn off. They want the site to look like it has a constantly flow of new women, when really they do nothing to keep the ones already established there.

Right? I've already decided that if I'm able to get a job and it's not temp or seasonal, I'm running away from MGF and never looking back. At this point, I'm not even going to feel bad about the guys who are nice on there. If they really wanted to see me offsite, the would have found me by now. In fact, a sweet guy on there already has and decided to tell me in a message. Wth.
I've been on there a year and a half (total). When I joined it was a lot more fun. Now that I know how they (staff/admin/etc, NOT the girls/legends) *actually* see the girls, it's disgusting.

Does anyone else on here go on MASSIVE blocking sprees for no good reason other than each and every profile you read sounds like it was written by an ignorant douche? Nobody? Just me? I used to never block guys unless they were trying to break site rules but now IDGAF. It's dumb because those guys could potentially have spent money on me and now they never will but I just hate EVERYone on there and I don't care anymore.
I haven't been able to live cam for a couple of days so I've been stuck relying on MGF and Holy Shit it affects my mood so much. Need to find a makeup tutorial so I can look like a human being and go on my free chat site again (I currently look like I've been punched in the eye and it's not a sexy look- don't ask). I never thought a few days of strict MGF would send me running back to free chat. Now THAT is saying something!

CourtneyRaine - I do it too! Why I block:
His profile is a list of girls who "wronged" him. 10 girls have wronged you and you've been on the site 2 months? Naw.
His profile has the combination of the words - friendzoned, fat chicks, skinny bitches, fake bitches, fucking single, broke, free samples are welcomed, etc. 1) What a gentleman *rolls eyes* 2) You're broke as hell, rude as hell, and I can live without your $5.
His profile is blank, no picture, joined in 2011, no ratings, not a premium member, yet he can find the time to visit my profile everyday.
Basically if a guy's profile makes it sound like I'm going to be bending over backwards for $5, I'm out. Don't get me wrong, I'll bend over backward any day. But not for $3.25
Which reminds me - I had a guy who created his profile yesterday message me with a free message, asking for free "private" samples. I told him no such thing exists, and he (surprise!) never messaged me back. Blocked.
According to a little bit of rumble I've heard in the GOB, it seems like this could be the new "scam" they've thought of. I mean, it's probably happened before, but it's going around again.
Just a reminder to never send content until you've seen that you've been paid for it! Escrow, or go to their profile and check and see if it was a paid message!

Sorry if this isn't quite the right place to ask, but if I wanted to sign up for a debit card through them and Payoneer, how exactly is that debit card sent to you? That is, what sort of envelope can I expect my family to be receiving in the mail? :p I have recently moved to a new area and been deciding if I want to open a bank account here, or just go ahead and do the Payoneer thing, but I'm incredibly worried that my parents are going to get my mail and immediately see "MY GIRL FUND" plastered all over the front of the envelope!

I think it just comes in a regular white envelope, and it might have "Payoneer" written on it somewhere. It's through Payoneer, so MGF will not be anywhere near it. If your family asks you can say it's a better alternative to PayPal (it is since it's sex worker friendly!) and doesn't have as many fees (liesss), but at least they won't associate it with porn.
The "MGF debit card" isn't exclusive to MGF. Other sites use it too. It wouldn't make sense for Payoneer to market it as just the MGF card.

I love blocking profiles from d-bags. They're so entitled. Like, profiles that say shit along the lines of: "You women are here for ME, prove to me you're worth the money, show me why I should contribute, blah blah blah".
Like, no dick weed. You're on the site because you want attention from hot women, it's just unfortunate you're a cheap bastard that goes against the grain of a PAY 2 PLAY site, and you want shit handed to you for free because you're just oh so very speshul.

Glad you figured it out! I've had problems with that and it turned out that at least one of the files in the folder was larger that 1MB.
Re: Blocking.
Once I started blocking guys, it got quiet. But it started to guarantee that the guys who would contact me were serious about getting a video or custom. I've talked to guys who block girl who spam them with messages when they've never talked to them. It's the same thing.

I guess it depends on where you live. I had my province blocked for awhile. For some reason it seemed like every motherfucker from my province wanted to see my profile.
It was quite unnerving, actually. I'd look at my profile views and see "Location has been blocked" for 4 or 5 guys that had looked at my page recently.
I had guys message me through the contest message box when I had a contest posted, guys that were blocked in my province, begging me to basically unblock them so they could buy my content.
Idk WHY all these dudes that lives where I did tried that much harder to message me, but I don't give a shit if I am losing their money.

@Ruby and heraax: So they can still see you profile, but just can't contribute? Regardless of whether they're on their phone or not? And when they're on their phone, can they buy your content? That's kinda weird how they can still contact you through different means if you have them blocked in your area.

I don't geo-block because they can easily get around it anyway.
I'm pretty sure how it works is, guys can see you on the public areas of the site- blogs, offers, and contests- but when they click on your profile it says it's set to private or whatever the message they use for location blocks. Several girls who are very concerned about being recognized keep their profile picture as only a body part but never their face precisely for this reason.
If a guy is mobile and/or using a proxy he will be able to see your profile and contribute if he wants to. Men CAN contribute while mobile.
It's annoying if you care but pretty much every site has this same issue of geo-blocking not being fool proof. It's a nice tool if you don't want someone in a specific area to stumble upon you randomly but if a guy is looking for you, it's easy to get around geo-blocking to find you.

Oh... That's... kinda creepy lol.
I had a guy recently follow me into a parking lot and circled around me two times. I told my friend about it and she said, "Maybe he just recognized you" And I'm like... I'm pretty unique looking for someone in my small town... unless he happened to see me from an adult site, which I doubt, but it's still possible. I would just hate for something like that to really happen and someone found me IRL.

^It happens. A LOT. Sad reality of this job. At least MyGirlFund has an advantage over free chat sites in that you do NOT have to show your face at all on mygirlfund. Some free chat sites specifically have it as a rule that you must keep your face on cam at all times. On mgf you can do only body shots in your public gallery and can refuse to show your face in your content. You also do not have to keep your verification photo in your public gallery (mine isn't public) so you can be more anonymous. That is of course unless you have identifying tattoos or scars such as myself.
But really? If you're afraid of being found out you should probably reevaluate if camming is for you, because it WILL happen.

Another quick question ladies! I have that I'm offering to sell my kik username on my page [I use my mgf handle and I don't have my number listed on the app] and someone messaged me asking about the price but then told me it's considered against mgf's privacy policy? I got the idea from another girls page and don't see how it violates privacy [unless using a 3rd party app is against their ToS which they said they dont have control over]
Just curious if anyone has experience with this sort of content or if I should just take it off my page lol

You can't exchange any sort of personal contact info. I wouldn't risk selling personal contact info, or even giving it out for free. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they're extremely strict about that stuff... I was surprised I even got a "last warning" about exchange contact info.
But I'm new to the site as well, so maybe someone with more knowledge will correct me if I'm wrong.

I found this " 6. You may not include in your Member profile or in Personal Messages any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URLs, email addresses, or other means of online communication."
And since kik is just a username and technically not a phone number [you can't access phone number through the app unless you choose to list it, which is why a lot of internet 'friends' use it] But i took it down anyway to be safe. Today's been slooooow so I was kind of sad to have to turn the guy down lol

^That's funny. That guy I mentioned several posts ago who was offering to pay girls via PayPal? His profile's still up. Makes me crazy. Watch, this idiot guy is going to get some poor unsuspecting girl banned.
I truly wish support would be on top of things All the time and not just when they feel like it. I would actually start directing more guys to the site *IF* support were more supportive. I just cannot risk getting my account unverified or worse due to something outside of my control and not being able to talk to support about it to resolve the issue in a satisfactory and timely fashion. As much as I may hate my other site sometimes, EVERY single time I've had a question or issue I can call them or live text chat with an operator and my questions are resolved, even at 2am, in real time.

Mygirlfund was one of my best sites ever to work, and easy. Seems so many people wanted custom videos while not complaining about the prices I set. I have made a lot of money just selling videos and nothing much else. The messages I hated doing, but seen it as a good intro. to sell videos. Never went for a cam invite on Mygirlfund.
The owner could be tough at times. Could only cash out at a higher pay then when I started there. I was cashing out every $20, which rolled around a lot during the day, then I had to get to a higher price to cash, so videos became a quick sell and good money for me.

Oh dear Lord, WHY do I even bother going in the GOB anymore? Oh, I know. Because I mentioned a girl on there in my blog post this morning and wanted to see if she said anything back to me. She did not (which is fine, wasn't expecting her to) BUT the first thing I see is someone telling us how to do our jobs.
" There are people begging, bitching, ranting and airing their dirty laundry on the main blog. I mean really? I saw one girl lamenting that her husband cheated on her and that she was fat. I am not trying to target anyone, just saying what I saw. Do guys really get into that thing? I would think it would be a total turn off? Please tell me if I am wrong." This girl then went on to write a Public blog complaining about girls who block guys who have no funds and it's bad for business.
Oh my GOD why is it ANY girl on there's business what the hell I choose to blog about? Who the hell are YOU to dictate who I should and should not interact with on the site? Unless I am breaking a rule, leave me the fuck alone. NOT YOUR BUSINESS so just stfu.
If there's one thing I hate more than guys trying to tell me how to make money, it's other models trying to tell me how to make money. Because other girls should know that we all have different hustles and she has NO right to tell me I'm somehow doing it wrong. I mean really? TACKY.
And I HOPE the girl who wrote those blogs reads this and takes a lesson from this. Criticizing other models for how they do things will not only not win you any friends, but on a site as cliquish as mgf it might outright cost you money. (Yes, more than once I have seen veteran models bully girls off the site by telling the guys not to spend any money on them and harassing them on social media.)

Really. I'm so sorry she did that. Part of the reason why I don't even care that I've been banned in there. If that's how they're going to act do I really want to be associated with those girls??
If a girl decides that she wants to make every blog post about how she hates her life and how she's having difficulties with her body, that's her own damn right. If you think it's bad for business, then so what? What's bad for her business should be good for yours. You weren't worried about guys who "go for that" before, don't be worried about them now, especially since you've come forward and expressed your distaste in it.
I daresay that you, CourtneyRaine, haven't broken any rules. But she has. I'm pretty sure you're not suppose to discuss member interactions (I know I've had blogs taken down), and that's what she's done. Plus she said that she looks forward to meeting guys, which is a solicitation for them to visit her profile (I've had blogs flagged for this).
I find it extremely funny when girls talk shit about what other girls do, but don't even know the rules of the site...
CourtneyRaine
09-25-2013, 08:48 PM
^OMG THANK YOU! I though I just went full bitch mode for no reason; I'm glad someone else gets it!
And yep, I did flag that blog for discussing member interactions. I'm honestly surprised it's still up. I think the peer flagging feature is a really good idea, but it leaves way too much room for interpretation. Too many blogs getting taken down without good reason, and too many staying up that are in violation of the rules. It's not a huge deal, it's just that I was just flagged several times when I was first starting for innocent mistakes and I think if I have to play by those rules, so should everyone else.
About the content of what girls post? Once again, WHO CARES? There are some girls that I legitimately look forward to reading because I just think they are so fun and sweet and we have a lot in common. There are others that I don't read at all because I think they are boring. But you know what? It's not *my* business and *my* opinion doesn't matter (unless I catch something that violates rules, but I'm just referring to the content of what's posted right now). Like you said, if guys don't like certain types of blogs they won't spend on those girls. More $ for those who don't post that way.
And for the record? For me personally, occasionally posting a sob blog has actually made me money :)
It's hard for me to find things to blog about because my day consists mostly of working, and since I am a cam model on another site I obviously cannot discuss that. So sometimes my blogs are about the crappy things that have happened to me, because that's usually the most interesting part of my day that I can discuss without breaking any rules. And you know what? It gets me paid messages and contributions. I'm not saying this way of blogging will work for everyone, but it's silly for someone to knock what I do when they don't even know whether or not it's working for me.
I also posted a really snarky status message which I actually thought would come off super rude, but I have been getting a bunch of new guys messaging me from it, way more than usual, and they've all been pretty nice. So, yeah, people might be surprised at what sells :)

Yeah I read all that bullshit earlier, and didn't know what the fuck was going on with that.
I don't read too many blogs, personally. I scan them for rule breaking, like discussing content / pics/ videos and that's about it. I don't care what other girls want to talk about, or vent about, etc.
For me, no one is hurting me or my money as long as the rules are being followed by everyone when it comes to the blog section.....so I don't care if girls want to talk about their crappy boyfriends or that they are stressed out about something, etc.
I find it stupid when girls call each other out, even if vaguely in the blogs.
I once had an older woman do that in response to a blog I wrote once. She wrote some shit about my blog because she didn't like the topic I was discussing in it.
I find that, blogs are best suited for more uplifting things, as guys wouldn't want to log onto a site like that and read about very depressing / upsetting things.....but, really it's not my business to say who should talk about what.
heraax

I posted depressing blogs (I don't have a "day job", I've been turned over to collections 5 times this year, I'm on food stamps, I had to literally beg for money to by pads and tampons last month in the offers, etc) and uplifting blogs ("My anxiety's being managed well this month because I was able to start a yoga routine, I never believed that would work for me", etc) (and because depression I haven't kept that up LOL) and I've only gotten ONE response and that was on a depressing blog.
So I don't really blog.
That being said I have blogs planned but I never feel like posting because I just don't care. If a guy wants to get to know me, he's going to know everything - the depressing and the uplifting - and he won't be able to do that in the blogs. And he's barely able to do that in messages because of all the info I have to leave out of my life (I work on other sites, I secretly hate MGF and can't wait for the day I'm not dependent on it, etc) ...
The blogs are a place for the guys to find out if they want to get to know us or not. In my opinion, if a girl is upset about her weight/husband troubles, that's something I can relate to. If a girl uses a blog to complain about other girls, that's someone I want to stay away from. And I say that literally, because if I could afford it I would have a guy's profile so I could get to know some ladies *wink wink*

This dude sent me two PMs with long stories in them.
I am going to report back when I finish the first time and give you ladies the verdict.

Okay. Apparently it's not a story, but it's written like a story.....but yeah, dude wants to fuck his cousin apparently.
How do I respond to an "erotic" "story" with positive feedback if it's just.....weird.
I have never received a well written erotic story through MGF yet.

You know what's funny? I actually write and sell erotica and recently posted a contest asking guys for story ideas. Not sex scenes, obviously, but like, scenarios that would lead up to an erotic encounter. I had some awesome entries, got a couple of custom story orders, it was great. But this ONE guy sent me THE MOST RANDOM sex scene, it was so poorly written, just a good two paragraphs of pure nonsense omg I didn't know what the hell to do with that?
I actually think the guy is slow (I'm not being sarcastic, I used to work with people with mental retardation and he reminds me of some of the milder cases I knew). Just the way he looks, the way he writes/talks (I had a long chat with him ages ago trying to get to know him). It's really sad, actually. I kind of feel like he's being taken advantage of, but anyway.
I ended up thanking him for the story and telling him to let me know if he ever wanted to cam or pick up some content. There was just no way I could comment on his "story" so I pretty much skirted around it. Maybe that would work for you?

Never mind, it's been taken care of :)

I think I might know who you're talking about actually. There was a guy on there that wanted a cam show, but then he couldn't get HIS cam to connect....so he messaged support about it, but I still had his money. So, I sent him some stuff to compensate him, but he didn't ask for anything in return. Then a day or two later we tried to cam again, and it finally worked.....but, it was a WEIRD cam show.
Like, he lived with his parents so he didn't tell me until after that he couldn't have his audio on. And I rely on audio for the whole cam show....it's weird to have to stop and type every 10 seconds. But yeah, he looked / acted / talked like he was pretty slow. It was just a really weird situation.
I definitely wouldn't cam with him again though. But I could see how girls could take advantage of him.

^Awww :( That literally made the tears well up on my eyes. Good for you for not taking advantage of him. I just HATE when people are tricked out of something- girls AND guys. Especially when someone does not have the skills to protect themselves from that kind of thing.
It kind of reminds me when I used to work admin for a non-profit that provided services for people with MR/DD. Our highest functioning resident had an IQ close to 70 but it was just under so he was technically mentally retarded. The thing is, he *looked* normal and talked normal. You could tell when you paid attention that something was not quite right but if you met him briefly you'd probably miss it. So anyway, this one time he went soliciting escorts through the phone book, but he didn't know you had to pay. This one escort went to his apartment and he tried to get it on with her but had no money. Her security almost beat the shit out of him, they ended up spray painting nasty things about him in the common hallways, it was a big mess. So sad.

I'm lurking right now and that made me so sad ^ ): Some people can be so cruel when presented with weak targets.
On a completely different note, MGF seems to be all extremes for me. Idk if it's because I'm marketing myself as a Domme/mostly non-nude or what but my messages range from asking me to dance fully clothed for a decent amount of money to guys begging me for an extreme close up shot of everything and then whining if I want to charge them. No in-between. What.

Yeah, i'v worked in group homes myself when I was in college. I had different placements with different sectors in community services....it was an interesting experience.
It kind of made me jaded before I'v even had a chance to start my "vanilla" career since my schooling finished a year ago.
It's weird working with men that are higher functioning in that type of situation. And it's weird how group homes have to coordinate through different issues with sex.
They drug all the women with depo shots, so that if they get raped they can't get pregant (and also the stopping of the period thing makes it easier each month on the support workers...but yeah).
I worked in a home with a client that was 'higher functioning' and he had to have specific workers with him to watch him. I remember a few times being at the home later than usual, and they had baby monitors in his apartment upstairs and he used to watch porn up there all night. You could hear the porn videos through the baby monitors. It was kind of disturbing. He was always asking about escorts and crap like that, but his main worker that knew him for a long time had a hard time explaining he can't legally solicit a prostitute for this guy.
He was pretty dangerous though, and I wouldn't want to have to put a woman in a sexual situation with someone like that. He used to sneak into the group home van and just sit in there, and he had severe melt downs quite frequently and would get really violent and they'd have to lock the house down to keep the other clients safe.
Before I left he told me I should leave my boyfriend and come live with him in his apartment.

Haha, I was sending messages back and forth with a guy and the next day he wanted to move from dirty chat in the private messages to the live chat.
Now, you can bet if I tell him "Sure, i'd love to try this in the live chat! But it'll cost $1/min" he definitely won't respond to that....hahaha.
I mostly seem to attract serious contributors. But, I get a lot of false promises. "I'm going to contribute to you very soon Sophie! I love our chats!".
But, they never do. I don't hold my breath. It's always the "nice guys". The young, nerdy guys that use these faces all the time : D, (: , ^_^.....haha. The ones that chat like they're a 13 year old anime obsessed little girl.
I HATE talking to anyone that is younger than 23 on MGF. I have had *maybe* two serious contributors that were that age. Other than that, THEY ALL WASTE TIME.

Good to know! I actually had a guy want a 15min T&D camshow so I took maybe 5 min getting ready for it and then...poof! gone! I guess I need to learn how to sniff em out better, or just start Domming in my pjs! :P I'm having a ton of fun learning the ropes though, even if I had a bit of a disappointing morning.
Also is there any way to tell if a message is free/paid before replying? I'm guessing no...
