Thanks for all the responses. I don't think I'm going to do it. I want to, but it's just not the right time? If that makes sense.
If I had all my debt paid off (something like $4200 more to go in bills that *aren't* student loans) and I was making money for savings/rent (even though my share isn't huge), then I probably would.
But yes, my long hair has been a hit on MGF with my fav regular, and surprisingly on C4S. Other than individual clips, I think over all my hair washing has been the best category. I could probably go back to school on just my hair.
...challenge accepted.
Oh and the flower guy - he's done that to me too! Except he's only sent 3 pictures of flowers, and I sent a message "aww thanks those are really pretty did you draw them/make them" (I think they were drawings??) and no response and no more pictures. *shrug*

Getting tired of seeing girls with cum shot photos as their main profile photo, or the ones trying to sell panties or clothes.
the chicks that break the rules always have like, a lot of ratings from each month like 9/13/13 ,9/14/13, 9/15/13....
I can go Weeks without new reviews, but they get multiple ones across an entire week....uh huh.

You've been really fucking bitchy with 3 different women in this thread - @ teenageannie, dahlia, and now myself.
What is up with you lately? Like seriously?
The last few posts in the last 3 pages from you have been just you attacking people or picking a fight. Like, chill out.
Me having a dude account is not fucking with anyone elses money. I am not selling clothes that is against the rules, I am not selling kik or my email address.
Every other damn girl has a guy account on there, because they talk about it all the time. Most of them have boyfriends or husbands with accounts on there too.

1. I misread teenageannie's post because I thought she was pissed at me but I flat out apologized for being defensive because I misinterpreted what she wrote.
2. DahliaMoon and I have explained how we both feel and have been chatting quite merrily over PM all afternoon.
3. Regardless of my interactions with others, it is still against the rules for models to also have guy accounts. It's not my rule, it's is the sit'es rule. Girls often make guy accounts to spy on others and steal guys who have given ratings to girls in their niche. I don't know why you are getting defensive because I am pointing out site rules? If you want to risk it then so be it, if other girls risk it that's on them, but it's silly to complain about one rule while breaking the other. Pointing out the TOS is not being bitchy.

How does one "steal" a guy?
If he chooses to spend money on one girl then spends money on another, it's his own free will an privilege to select whom he associates with. I could care less what other guys say about other models in their comments, they're all full of shit anyways.
Women write happy reviews because they get money, and guys write positive reviews because they just jerked off and are about to go night night.
If women use male accounts to find male customers then that's pretty lame and a waste of time. The only "niche" I can see that could "steal" men is maybe subs that are specifically owned by another model.
Anyways, I don't use my dude account for any ill gains or miss use. It'd be pointless for me, since I basically hardly ever send out messages or contact men first, so "stealing" is a funny thing to imagine.
I only talk to people if they contact me, and that works fine for me on there.
Having a male account is not the same as taking guys off mgf by selling kik or Skype to get them sending money on payoneer.
The only way I would have found out models were stealing my contests is if I could see how they were reposting mine word for word. Or models stealing other models public photos and using them. Trust me, if you had an account on the guys side you'd see what I mean.

^Hun, I don't know why you are getting so mad at me? I'm just reiterating what the rules are. I get that sometimes MGF in particular has rules that don't make sense (for example, pretending that other sites online don't exist even when you bring guys in from those other sites). But, I do understand why this rule in particular is in place. You're right, I probably would see some really egregious shit if I had a guy account. I have one friend who is a model on MGF and she told me of two other models (who had guys accounts as well) who basically stalked her page and would write to guys who'd rated her putting her down and asking the guys to stop spending on her and spend on them instead. She only knew of this because some of her loyal regs let her know what was going on and what those two girls were saying about her, at which point she completely put her profile on lockdown, stopped blogging, stopped making offers, etc. to try to fly as under the radar as possible. I'm totally not accusing you of doing any of that but kind of stuff, but I will say it is very possible for girls to attempt to "steal" guys from girls they feel threatened by. I wold write more about this but of course since some guys and shady girls read these forum I'm not trying to put that kind of stuff out there in public.
I agree with you that having a guy account is not as big of an offense as selling your skype, trying to do business through Paypal, giving out your twitter, etc. Totally agree. But you know how MGF is, they are the strictest site I have ever been associated with and have temporarily and permanently banned girls for much worse offenses.
I actually wrote to support this afternoon to clarify- and no, I DID NOT name names because that is not my style and I am not trying to out anyone or get anyone in trouble and fuck up anyone's livelihood. I just emailed and said I wanted clarification as to whether or not it is allowed for models to make guy accounts as well. Their response was, "That is definitely not allowed." So I'm really not making this up or trying to hate on you, you can ask them yourself if you don't believe me. I think everyone knows that MGF bans girls for sometimes no clear reason, I would just say if you're going to do something that goes against the rules I would not mention it on a public forum that anyone can read and definitely use a proxy as well to reduce your risk of getting caught.

A guy from MGF sent me a message on another site saying he bought a video over a year ago @
[email protected] wtf? and I never sent it, I asked him if he had a copy of the message and/or receipt from MGF as proof he bought something from me that long ago and asked him why he didn't contact me on MGF instead of elsewhere and he said because he couldn't find my account on there etc (I dont really use it but its still there), and the really funny thing is one of the videos he supposedly bought was made way after the date he said he paid for it. Ugh, all morning has been a headache.

the thing is. the site is called my girl FUND. The general meaning of fund is not the same as a purchase. People gather funds at fundraising events for things like running 10 miles for a chairty and people give them funds, they get nothing in return. I don't see why the guys on this site are so bothered about content really. when they could just go on extralunchmoney or clips4sale lol. I see MGF as a site where guys can give and not get much in return. I have not given out anything but messages so far. why should i lol? my profile is femdom anyways so guys who contact me know they aint going to get videos or camtime in return for a shitty $ message. makes me sick when i borwse guys profiles are they are so like "girls dont message me im done with paying messages i just want content so send free samples and i might buy" hahahhaa. fucking losers.

Ugh, this guy asked for my kik name before I realized that that's grounds to permaban a profile, and I told him an amount before realizing it was against the ToS and then quickly explained to him that I don't want to risk my account being frozen and I changed my mind.
So the asshole just contributed double the amount I asked and the message reads "You gave me an amount so here's double for what I asked for". What do I even do at this point? Can guys cancel a contribution?

You're kinda screwed I guess.
He can't get the money back, the site has to refund the money, which means you need it in your fund.
So, if HE messages support and tells them that he paid for your KIK and you told him you would give it to him, they'll probably ban you or at least give you a warning.
If YOU message support, you might have a better chance of just saying "I would like to refund _________'s money blah blah blah" without mentioning KIK.
edit: If you cashed out and the money is not in your fund, they will unverify you until you get that amount back into your fund so they can remove it from the account.

There are girls who have been waiting months to be approved. It seems like the average amount of time went from "48 hours" they like to quote, to a month.
That and if they decide that a girl isn't approved, they never tell her. They literally never tell anyone that they're not approved. I've never heard a girl say "MGF told me I wasn't approved". It's always "I've been waiting 10 months to be approved".
It's just one of this shady things... -_-

Once you get verified you can write his username in the verified MGF forum (you need 100 thanks to be verified). That way you can warn other ladies about his behavior. Some guys will just try to fuck with your money and get you in shit.
If he gives his number, you need to say in the chat that it is against the rules / also flag his profile and write "he gave me his phone number, which is against the rules" etc.
To safe guard against guys like that, you just need to make it known through the flagging system that you do not want / did not ask for any of his contact information and that you know it's against the rules. That way if any of his messages get flagged in the system and they go to check it out, they can see you're totally against his behaviour.

Does flagging a message let the guy know who flagged it/them? I explained to him in chat/a message that I didn't know it was against the ToS to give that sort of info out and was no longer okay with it. I also just replied to him saying I'm not going to risk getting my acct frozen and I will happily message Support to give him a refund. I think this scared him [even though I wasn't threatening him] because he said it was a complete misunderstanding and not to worry about refunding the money to him, I could keep it because he "misunderstood" what I was trying to do. T_T I just double checked that after quoting him a price he freechatted me asking and I absolutely said no to him. I was partially at fault here I'll admit so idk if I should flag or just let things lie. Also as soon as I'm verified I'll be more than happy to share that info!

Anyone else on MGF a hardcore grad student like myself? I'm trying to balance school work and find time to work on updating my profile argh! But October will be the start!!!
Nope, I graduated with my BA in history 7 years ago and I'm now almost $20,000 in debt for a degree I'm not even using. Sucks. BUT, during my four years of college I did work full time (in a nursing home) during that entire time so I totally get how hard it is balancing school with work. I ended up scheduling all of my classes on two days of the week and worked the other 5 days a week from 10a-6p, so I never had to deal with really early mornings or really late nights- except for studying/writing papers of course, but I didn't have an obligation to work overnights. I would take my textbooks to work and study on my lunch breaks. Oh, and my last year they raised my tuition so I ended up getting a part time job as a phone sex operator from home on top of 40+ hours a week at my real job (I always seemed to have to cover for someone) on top of trying to write my senior thesis. I remember being so tired after a long day of work and then having to work the phones and finish a paper by the next morning, I would lay in bed with my head in a textbook just begging, "Osmosis, osmosis," hoping to magically absorb all the knowledge within :P
I actually think working from home would be SO much easier so I kind of envy that you are able to have that flexibility that I didn't.
I am seriously considering going back to school for a joint Masters/PhD program. For no other reason that it would give me a level of pride to say that I hold a PhD. I have no plans on using it professionally whatsoever. Dumb, huh? If I do pursue this PhD I will be doing it online (I have found a university with reasonable tuition, and since it's only for my own edification I don't care about the bad reputation that comes with online schools). So... I may be right there with you in the next year or so? Maybe.

*sigh*
I read things like this all the time on MGF. As a person of color myself it is NOT cute. On the other hand, we all have our physical preferences and though I do think it's wrong to discriminate without getting to know a person first it does happen. In a way I'm kind of glad when guys put that in their profile because I know to just block and keep it moving rather than wasting my time when it's not going to happen.
I used to spend a lot of time reading through guys' reviews to try to figure out of I was their type before deciding to message them. Like if they only had reviews from thin white girls I figured they probably wouldn't want to hear from me, a thick brown girl. Then I realized, shit, there aren't a lot of minorities on the site to begin with so maybe it's just coincidental. With guys like the above, though...
I really wonder where MGF gets their traffic. I'd say 80% of the guys I see on there are the white nerdy type. Which doesn't bother me, except when you stop and think that many people are attracted to those in the same racial category as they are. The few Hispanic, Asian, and Black guys I see on there seem to always put in their profile how much they love white girls and whooties. I'm just sayin', like in that B-Lord song We Can Get It On, I'm redbone, super thick, super tatted up. Where are all the guys who like girls like meeeeeee?
Can't win 'em all :(

^I'm always a fan of draining wallets. Make that money, honey! I also honestly wonder if these guys just have no clue how offensive they are sometimes? Like maybe they don't mean to be but they are socially inept? Lots of guys are kinda blunt in their profiles because they claim they don't want to waste anyone's time. In a way it's weirdly respectable, it's just the way they go about it sometimes.

I think he could have worded that better like, "I prefer tattooed, Caucasian women" or "I prefer ladies with dark skin over light", etc. How he worded it sounded rude, but I doubt he meant it like that.
I generally block the guys that have a full page of ranting about how none of us are special and that he's sick of our crap and sob stories and if we ever send one to him he's going to ignore it, because he doesn't like lying bitches - yeah, that's excessive and I'd rather they not buy anything from me.
Also, I wouldn't worry too much about getting onto MGF very quickly - everyone I have talked to has said that it is slow over there. It's slow for me, it's slow for some pretty popular models, but it seems to still be okay for the 'veteran' mgf models, which are always on top there anyway. I really don't think they give the rest of us a chance.
CourtneyRaine
10-02-2013, 12:27 PM
It hasn't been slow for me, but it has never exactly been busy for me either. I have never been a top girl, never made it to the featured page, am still at a pretty low % compared to the length of time I've been on the site. I'm still making what I made over the past few months. It's not enough to live on alone, but it's been consistent which I am grateful for.
Branching out into new fetishes has definitely been the thing that's helped me stay relevant and keep making consistent money. In the past week alone I've done two customs and exchanged dozens of messages involving fetishes that are not really mainstream but interesting enough for me to try out, on top of my regular sales on there. I think with so many girls offering super cheap content, the one way you can combat that and get ahead is to offer something they don't.

Please Please report this immediately. This is how models get booted off the site. It doesn't matter if you didn't call the guy. Message them NOW!!!
The first week I was on MGF a guy tried to be slick as well as so many are. They don't get banned from the site for breaking the rules the models that don't report them do.
So first week I had a "no cam voice only rate" on my profile. This one guy tried to be a slick fucker and send me his phone number in a message. I sent it over to Tech Support ( When they had real immediate support) and they refunded the guy's money gave him a warning. Had I not done this? My acct would have been shut down because they track any messages with email or phone numbers in it. The guy eventually closed his acct out 3 days later. Why? because he's tried this with several other models thinking the site is his own personal whore house. Once he realized he couldn't get anywhere he left.
Another guy had his screen name as the beginning of a phone number it was like 718 5554. Guess what? He got banned because every chat with him was just the last 3 or 4 numbers. Another slick asshole that eventually had to leave the building.
Today? Most guys can do this and they'll never be banned.
Also the site is being promoted on Eros so that's part of the reason why some guys sign up. They assume it's a GFE outcall service or something.

Last night I was messaging with someone and tried to send him a short story I'd written. I had previously sent this exact same story to another member without a problem, yet last night it bounced back FOUR TIMES with a terms of service reminder that you're not allowed to send emails, phone numbers, last names, outside websites, etc. Dafuq? I double checked that there were no @signs or numbers or anything. Ffs I sent it a month ago with no problem. So stupid. And now I'm worried that I'm going to get banned or unverified because I got so many TOS reminders (even though for the life of me I still can't figure out what I did wrong).

Snowy:
Home --> edit profile --> cancel account
that's what it says on mine. the cancel account link will but at the top at the end, next to the edit profile/change picture/upload pictures, etc links above your profile pic.
It should be the same on profile that haven't been approved yet, I believe.
