Apparently she wants to trade her content for my content?

I had one girl suggest this once as like a promo thing. I'd get off watching a vid of hers and sell me watching her porn, and she'd do the same. It never went anywhere but it's a nifty idea.

I have no clue if that's what *she's* thinking about, though.

do you gurls think the monthly competition is a bit of a low prize fund? $500 split between 5 girls for the most registered users. i mean i could quite easily get 100's of members to sign up if i really wanted to but i just don't have the enthusiam to bother for that measlyy amount of cash.

the blog section is full of attention seekers, it's blatently just "how can i write that you should give me money, but in a way that doesnt directly ask for money". all i see is mentions of how their jobs dont pay much, they paid off 1 credit card but have another ten, filling out 100 job application forms but no1 replied, ect ect. i dont ever post blogs because i dont need any of the girls on there to know i exist and report me just because they can.

Half the time I can't tell if they're lying in the blogs or not.

Sometimes I KNOW they're lying, and they're the same damn models that seem to be in crisis mode every other damn day and a birthday every other month.

Like...I am not impressed with the blogs the last few days.

Yesterday that idiot that was in there calling all other models "knuckle dragging" / jealous / blah blah blah....like, what the fuck crawled up your butt and died there? She was getting all pissy about a blog she wrote being removed, but it's like....DUDE, if you break the rules your BLOG.WILL.BE.REMOVED.PERIOD.

Yeah, it SUCKS if it gets removed. I know i'v had 2 blogs removed and I wasn't *even* notified about it....I didn't recieve any messages about their removal, or why they were removed...they're just gone. And, I know if they were removed, it was not because I broke any rules.....I know the rules for the blogs....don't direct traffic to your profile, don't talk about interactions with other members on the site, no gifs, no large pictures, and don't stretch the blogs a ridiculous amount.

But yeah. Anyways, half of the blogs are chicks talking about using illegal drugs or wanting a new boob job or some shit. It's just different ways of discreetly advertising their need for money.

Half of the blogs make us look bad as the stereotypical sex workers that are addicted to hard drugs, can't control our money spending, and fight with each other like drama whores......uhhhhhgh.

I damn well know most of it is bullshit, because they craft different stories every few months to win sympathy and get contributions to help them in their crisis. Their grandma's in the hospital, they have a car bill to pay, they're getting evicted.

Shit man, with the amount of women on their claiming to be evicted....seriously? Fucking pull up your boot straps if you can't make rent. Sitting around being like wah wah wah you guys haven't contributed since THURSDAY what the fuck you're all assholes.

So I have been unable to upload any videos to mgf that work. I've seriously tried so many things to fix the issue I think it may possibly be my account.
So I am no longer listing my content right now and I'm questioning if I should cash out and delete and reply at an other time.

CourtneyRaine
10-07-2013, 12:50 PM
^I wouldn't, only because if you reapply you are not guaranteed that they will let you back in.

I do not think your issue with uploading has anything to do with your account. When I was temporarily deactivated I could still send and reply to messages, send videos, cam, etc. I just could not cash out even though I was accumulating funds, and I was restricted from blogging.

Check your file type and file size. You can also upload videos to sell through MediaFire. If you don't want to do that you can also record videos through MGF's built in video recording function, although I don't think it's as good as recording with WMM and uploading it.

I just got a message from someone who mentions he has been a member of suicidegirls.com... should I message them about it to make sure I don't get in trouble or...? ugh x_x

I hope you didn't get in trouble! If you don't want to send an email, flag the message and explain that *he* mentioned the website, not you, and that you messaged him asking him to not name names of sites he's been on (if you did that idk you didn't say). Usually that's fine. I've had guys I've exchanged lots of messages with mention "oh yeah look this up on youtube" and I'm like "I know how to look things up, please don't ever mention any site by name because it threatens my account".
They usually understand, and I'll apologize for having to say it harshly, but you cannot beat around the bush with that. I don't play around when it comes to breaking the rules.

I uploaded a video and then a black box popped up in the upper right and corner, and now the vid's not there? I uploaded another (different) one, and that one worked fine. Should I wait a little bit for it to show up, or did it just not work?

CourtneyRaine
10-08-2013, 03:46 AM
I think it just didn't work. A few times I've uploaded a video and it immediately disappeared, but then I just do it again right after and it seems to stick.

I would just like to say that I have been kicking ass and taking names for the past few weeks. I am getting awesome at giving a GFE, I've been selling my erotica like hot cakes, I'm submersing myself more into a fetish that I am particularly enjoying (AND it's non-nude at that!), I've barely done a show on there recently and yet I am enjoying MGF so much more than my other site. Oh, and I'm making more. The only down side is one of my newest GFE guys just asked me to marry him and I actually think he's serious? He keeps talking about moving to my city, but he doesn't even know what city I am in.

Yeah, it didn't end up showing up overnight (I swear I've done this before and then had 2 of the same video uploaded). It's weird. My internet was acting up last night but it didn't seem to be affecting the upload until after it reached 100% and then after it "processed" (that blue and white barber shop type thing in the % box??)

Ugh and yeah. Guys who take it too far are so creepy and make me all kinds of uncomfortable.
I have one guy who's contributed $5 ONCE (in 6 months) and he things I own him. Granted we haven't talked in a while, but he pulled the "I'm a poor college kid" line. Like. Dood. So am I. So are a lot of people. If you're looking for someone to indulge you in your kink, try CM or FL, not a pay site. *sigh*

Seriously, search through Camming Connection and Industry Insight. Your post about MFC and this one are basically the same thing. Also, just use the search bar. Tons of threads will pop up for you.

Starting camming:
https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?150383-Starting-Place-For-Cam-Girls

Avoiding studios:
https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?160099-How-to-sign-up-for-sites-directly-to-earn-more-%28aka-avoid-studios%29

Those two threads are stickies that never move from the first page of CC. So imagine the knowledge you are passing up by not looking further.

CourtneyRaine

This thread might be better in the preexisting MyGirlFund main thread (https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?160544-Mygirlfund-quot-main-quot-thread) so that the front page of Camming Connection doesn't become cluttered with posts on the same topic, thus pushing other valuable threads on to page 2 and beyond.

I rarely run contests on MGF but when I do I specify in the contest that submissions must be in the form of a PAID message and only one answer per paid message (though they are welcome to send as many messages as they want to if they'd like to submit multiple answers).

LOL. There was a girl yesterday LITERALLY giving away TEN videos for 0.65 cents.

OR, you could pay her FIVE dollars, and she will send you 100 videos. So, she gets 3 bucks, and you get 100 videos.

Seriously that shit makes me want to punch something. Especially lately, I KNOW girls are feeling the pressure to make money from cheap ways because girls are going cheaper and cheaper.

WHO GIVES AWAY FUCKING 100 VIDEOS FOR 3 DOLLARS?

TeenageAnnie
10-13-2013, 02:52 PM
100 videos ... wow. some guy could just buy those and make himself a girl account somewhere and sell them for more pretending to be her. seriously girls think about ur shit. watermark it. theres an increasing number of Ewhoring guides popping up lately on male forums detailing exactly how to make money off of girls like that.

I came across a girl profile, and she says she has 3,600 videos for sale. I know cam girls that have mad max 300 videos for MGF and have been there for years....

how the fuck can someone make 3,600 videos? ...they CAN'T.

They download them and sell them on MGF for really cheap.

I posted about that problem in the girls GOB Not to sell so cheap and also not to give away hella freebies. One of the officers joined at my job. And he got a lot and I do mean a lot of photos and videos so much that why would he even wanna buy Then u have guys say well this girl is cheaper or this girl gave me freebies. And I'm like to bad bye. If they are hunting they probably aren't worth the time. I rememebr how good the site used ti be un beta :((

CourtneyRaine

^Yeah but the thing is, no one really has the right to tell another model how she should price herself. You might think she is underselling herself, and I might think she is underselling herself, but if at the end of the day she is happy with what she is making then I can't even be mad at her.

You could make the argument that lower prices across the board will lead the guys to expect lower prices and haggle more, but haggling occurs on every single site and there's no way around that. I personally have been making awesome money on MGF lately and I charge a hell of a lot more than some of these prices I see in the offers sections of the site. Guys still pay high prices if you can give them exactly what they are looking for regardless of who around you is pricing their wares much lower.

My point is, such low prices other girls are offering is not affecting my business, so I have no right to butt my nose into their business.

If you're new on the site - they troll the "new girls" page and just photo bomb them with dick pictures. They think new girls are more naive, and sometimes they are....so they will reply with a bunch of ego boosting bullshit in a private message to the guy, and he just fucks off and never says anything.

I block 99% of the guys that send me dick photos.

And don't get me started on the dude that steals my pictures, edits them, then sends them back to me........ but has never said two words to me.

@CourtneyRaine

At the end of the day, what you said is true. If a girl makes $100 selling 100 videos to 100 different guys for $1, she made $100 and I'm still here making nothing bitching about it. If a girl makes $100 selling 1 video to 10 guys for $10, she made $100. If a girl makes $100 selling 1 video to one guys for $100 ... she still made $100 while we were talking about other girls.

That being said, selling your content for cheap does mean it's more likely to be shared. It's more likely to be used on fake profiles. It's more likely to be resold. And a lot of the bigger spenders are likely to pass up that cheap deal because they know the 100 vids for $1 are videos that are 10 seconds long. I'm not kidding. I remember that sale, and I creeped the girl's profile and if you average out the hours/minutes, each vid is about 3 mins. So probably not high quality, and the guy will get what... 2, 3 faps, be bored with her, and move on to something else.

She's just hurting herself and I don't even worry about 90% of the "All content - Any contribution!" sales or the like, because those girls have been peddling smut like that for months. It's working for them, and it's working for me.

CourtneyRaine

And a lot of the bigger spenders are likely to pass up that cheap deal because they know the 100 vids for $1 are videos that are 10 seconds long.

Very, VERY true! Actually when there was a site wide contest last year (around Halloween, I think? I don't remember, I didn't participate), guys were getting tons of photos of girls for just a message- often not even a paid message at that. I read on this popular sharing forum all the guys (/thieves) were laughing at girls for being so stupid for giving their pics away and they were uploading them for everyone to see. Logically, which guy is going to be more likely to repost your content online without your consent: the guy who spends $1 per photo, or the guy who spends $1 for 100+ photos?

There's nothing anyone can do about it, and it really doesn't hurt my bottom line. There are warnings on here, in the GOB, and on the girls forum warning about the dangers of selling your content for super cheap, so if someone decides to go that route it's really on them. And who knows, maybe it works for them. I have no idea how many sales they are making and what they are netting, perhaps for them the reward is worth the risk. For me it isn't, but if I was in a dire position and needed fast cash it might very well be. I don't know anyone else's situation, I just know that what I'm doing works for me so I'm happy.

I believe cheap pricing does hurt all of us, but in a general way. It lowers their expectations.....they want MORE for less over time, after being conditioned to expect it since so many girls are getting cheaper.

Its like that with escorting.

They want MSOG, greek, no condoms, PSE, all for the low price of $100 bucks for an hour? LOL.

All these hobbyists kept demanding it more and more....slowly crawling towards internet forums to band together and force what THEY want onto the escorts....escorts lowering their prices, lowering their level of safety, doing more extreme acts for less.

The more sex workers try and lower their prices....the worse it'll be.

CourtneyRaine
10-14-2013, 06:23 PM
I believe cheap pricing does hurt all of us, but in a general way.

I used to also believe this to be true, and I suppose I still believe it to be true, but with a qualification. I think cheap pricing hurts those of us who generally offer the same services as those with cheap prices; if you set yourself apart and break into an untapped niche(/s) what others price really won't make a difference.

Like in your escort example? It's true, if everyone in your area is offering daty, greek, bbbj, etc at a very low price it's going to be harder for you to convince potential clients to pay you more for the same thing. Supply and demand and all that. But now let's say you're one of only very few escorts in the area who will offer gfe or overnight/weekend dates. Suddenly you can command a higher price because you've got something that sets you apart that not many other girls can/will do. Same thing with camming, I think. Lately I've been doing different types of custom videos that I never would have even thought to do, that I don't think very many girls think to do, and I can still demand a rate I'm comfortable with because guys know not every model on the site will cater to their bizarre fetish. If I was selling 2 minute cell phone videos like some All Content Any Offer girls on there reportedly do, I probably wouldn't be able to get away with charging a whole lot.

A semi-new regular of mine from MFC just messaged me on MGF, and mentioned that he'd come from MFC—I didn't post any info on MFC to MGF, my name is just the same across all of my sites.

Is MGF going to give me any problems about this? I didn't initiate the message... and I don't want to report a dude who spends on me on MFC.

Thanks in advance!

You need to flag the message, or they will get po'd about it. By flagging it, it shows you understand the rules when it comes to mentioning other websites. If he just joined who cares if he gets banned, he can just make a new account. I doubt they'll even do anything other than warn his ass for not reading the site rules.

^YES what she said. I have emailed support many times when guys mention twitter/another cam site/youtube (yes, even youtube!) etc. in live chats and have also had to flag messages that mention outside sites as well. Nothing ever happens to the guys. In fact, I recently reported a guy for putting in his profile that he'd rather pay girls with PayPal and to follow him in twitter. I even took a screen cap as proof. You know what support did to the guy? Nothing. He's still active on there as of today. So they really don't punish the guys for breaking the rules. However, I do know of models who have had their accounts closed because the guy mentioned other sites and the girls didn't report it. By not bringing it to support's attention they think you the model are condoning receiving money from MGF members on other sites, which would be like stealing their traffic (even when you're the one who got the guy to sign up, lol), and will ban you for directing business to the competition. What you need to do to cya is flag the message and reply to the guy very clearly that talking about outside websites is a violation of MyGirlFund's terms of service and you will not discuss that with him because you don't want to risk your account.

Fyi, there is a system in place which automatically flags certain words and phrases as violations of the terms of service. I am not sure if specific cam site names are on the list, but I know for a fact that "Amazon" (as in amazon.com) is. This guy's message may already be on their radar and you don't even know it. Honestly? You really cannot hide from MGF admin, they are like big brother when it comes to these kind of things.

Delete your account and try applying again using a new email and model name? Sorry, this seems to happen to a lot of girls and there doesn't seem to be a guaranteed way to make sure you'll be approved.

It's already been covered earlier in this thread but to delete your account just log in, click on "edit profile" and then "cancel account" in the top toolbar.

Absolutely NOT allowed.

NO mention if other sites is allowed. Not other cam sites, not social media, not wish list registries, not any other type of website. Certainly not directing guys to go spend money somewhere else instead of mgf.

Essentially, when you sign in to mgf you're logging into an insulated bubble where no other parts of the internet are supposed to exist.

You can but it has to be done a certain way.

DO NOT MENTION OTHER SITES. You can have pictures of shoes/bras/undies/whatever. You can put on or under the picture "for me to buy this, I'll need a $100 contribution, and then I can order it" (remember site fees and stuff). If they mention other sites then flag that, obvs, and tell them that you're grown woman and can order your own damn shit.
