I am sorry but I dont know what down time means..! :-[ if you wonder how long it lasts the answer is for a year! If you mean how long until it sets I would say immediately, you could get a TINY bruise from the needle but nothing u couldnt cover easily.

I think you can go upside down directly, I doubt that could do any harm! It doesnt move from where it is!

^ ^ ^

"Down time" is how long I should relax or let restylane settle before resuming acrobatic stuff. But I think you figured that out. I've been trying to check w/ my dermatologist, but she's become really popular lately and hasn't returned my question:(

Thanks for your answser.

These are all excellent posts! I've noticed in my 20s, I made crazy money with my red lipstick and light eye shadow.. Now tht I am 30, I can barely make payout with red lips on!! Lol. So needless to say , I haven't worn it again! I think wearin too much make up definitely ages you. I wear more colors like blues or pinks or greens. The guys always ask my age (of course I'm 25), and they all say "you gotta b shitting me, I thought you were like 19-20!" I love it!! Plus I have a really bubbly personality and demeanor. I always "look" like I'm having a good time. I noticed when I'm ever in a "what the hell are u in here for if you aren't spending money" attitude, I ne'er make money. Guys want someone who is sexy and fun. Also, if I'm in full out hustle mode and bouncing around the club like noticeable hustling, it cuts my money. But it's like, I'm of age now, I don't have time to sit and babysit. It seems like guys like the girls who are having fun being naughty.

Just my input.. I am the dirty 30..
Oan, I am a sucker for a rhinestone choker, but although it gives a more mature, sex kitten look, the naughty girl next door look seems to be more appealing.

I say, switch your hair up! I do this at least 1 a month. This gives u a new look, and more confidence! I have a alter with each of my hairstyles.. Extensions that are done right are your friend!!

I just wanted to add: human hair extensions can be highlighted to match your hair. If you purchased some clip in ones, you could just take them to a salon for color, and it would give beautiful volume to a high ponytail since you're used to wearing it up anyway.

I am very glad my thread has made quite a few "non-20s dancers" happy again. Also I dont care about the thread jacking. I see it as good when girls jump on my thread and converse. If I wanted to take my thread back over I could.. I am the OP so its already my thread lol..Its fine...I was thinking about what all of u have posted here and I think what is ultimately harder for the girls who r 30+ who do not have the small tiny 105/110 frames. I realize some of u who r in ur 30s may be mistaken for younger bc of how tiny u r but for me I have to seriously watch how much I eat. At 132/133 many mean nasty girls think Im already too big. ANd Im not going to become an overly obsessed workout maniac either. I work out n moderation but Im not going to an extreme to maintain. I feel its more than easy to overly obsess about how we look over 30. But that creates SO MUCH unnecessary stress at times. Truthfully we rnt going to look like we r 20 when we r 30 and we HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT FACT. Thats whats hard. Ive come to somewhat accept that now. Still working on it but def realizing that Im not 20 anymore. Like everyone has said, u got to work with what u have and make the best of it. One earlier poster said that I should get under 130 so I didnt have a belly pouch or something. And although that person was right I do have a little tiny bit of belly fat I havent had kids and my stomach isnt that bad. I actually have more of a muscular medium build and as we all know muscle weighs more than fat. My hips r around 38" and somehow I do fit into AE's size 4 jeans. They actually fit me the best at my weight. If u actually look at my build i have thick ankles..Im meant to be more muscular and thicker than the slender looking size 4s and 2s. So I guess Im the "thick size 4" lol.

I feel its just harder in ur 30s. I have my regs who love me but as an overall rule its harder to find a niche of clientele in ur 30s. It is much easier when u r n ur 20s bc people naturally r attracted to youth and that gets attention without even trying. Ive noticed Ive hardened quite a bit from the business and I dont have that over the top friendly bubbliness that makes money. Im sooo much more of an introvert who doesnt trust people. I also dont meet a whole lot of people who I really like. This really isnt the best place to live and the quality of people isnt great. So Ive learned to keep my distance. That hurts me even though its protective at the same time. Thanks guys for taking the time to listen to my rambling..lol...

Overall I am doing very well right now in this area considering its bikini bars mostly here. I went around and thanked almost every customer who tipped me gave many hugs and attention, I suppose I always feel I could be doing better. ANd striving towards improvement is always a good thing. :)

Lots of great advice in here, but I will add one secret:

EAT AVOCADOS. Preferably 3 a week. I'll be 30 next year, but am never guessed over 25. I attribute this to the good fats in avocados. I eat them with a sprinkle of salt for a snack. I've been swearing by them for years.

Stay the hell out of the sun and tanning beds. Everyone is like "You don't look 27!!!!" Cause I don't see daylight unless I really need to. when I do, SPF 55 sunblock even in winter, dark sunglasses, and a hat.

I stopped going to the tanning beds when i was around 22/23 and thats when I started using eye cream/sunblock and anti aging crap. I self tan but I look younger than I actually am :).

I'm taking this one to heart then. I swear you look younger than me and I won't be able to legally drink for over a year...

Also, I second the dancing to young music. My 34 year old friend danced to Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Kesha and she looked awesome onstage. As much as I love classic rock, it definitely ages you.

Except Black Sabbath, Guns N Roses and Metallica. Some music is timeless. I fucking hate all this emo crap rock nowadays >:(

This thread makes big boobs sound like a crime. :-P I don't think a woman's chest ages her, unless they are very very droopy and deflated. I have big boobs and guys think i'm younger than 30.

Also, 30+ is NOT old. Your mind makes you old. Think old, look old. It's all mental. :) Be healthy, take care of yourself and all will be well.

I agree with Tempest on that music. Men love it(& I do too). I'd rather dance to that than garbage Gaga, Beiber, & K. Perry.

I'm going out to buy avocados! I love them anyway! I agree with Tempest about music: some is timeless! I dance to the Scorpions sometimes and I get love from all ages. But I'll admit to dancing to some Katy Perry if the mood strikes.

Small boobs are associated with youth, just like long hair. If you cut your hair into a bob, guys won't necessarily start thinking you're over 30, but if it flows down to your waist, it'll make you seem younger.

Don't get me wrong, I love big boobs. I'm upgrading my implants this year, and they're gonna be huge!

Co-sign on timeless music, but I was referencing dancing to classic rock when you're obviously an older dancer. If you're still in your 20s, by all means, go ahead. The difference is a guy looking up at the stage and thinking, "I bet this song is older than she is!" vs. looking up and thinking, "This song takes me back! They played it at my prom! They probably played it at her prom, too!"

I've heard of that, but I just don't see it make a girl look older. Certain body types(like pear shapes esp) look better with bigger/fuller boobs imo.

That is sooo true! Sometimes the selection of music can make or break your personna. I am 31 and I tend to pick music of the 90s. But sometimes, it can be a debbie downer! lol! I think groups like Creed are all a bore now! hahaha! But hey, I thought to stick to the music that made me money in the beginning (early 2000), but that is not always fact. Stick to what is current.

there are things that will make you look older just generally: large breasts, small eyes, bad skin/teeth, thin face, dull hair.
opposite of that, biological indicators of youthfulness are small breasts, large eyes, red full lips, clear skin, clean teeth, full cheeks, small chin, healthy hair.

so choosing makeup that mimics signs of youthfulness (eyes lined to make appear larger, dark full lashes, concealed undereye shadows, pink cheeks, reddened lips), getting hair extensions to add volume if you are losing it (my god, thinning, chemically abused hair that is attempting to be teased to look fuller looks more tragic than i can explain), everyone has unique weight distribution. without seeing you, i can't know whether or not your weight is making you look heavier/older.

i'm not really sure what brought this worry about, but honestly, botox will get you right with jesus. sometimes, all the new 18 year olds acting a fool can make us forget that all is well. customers appreciate maturity. someone has tried to sell this 18 is best thing, and it's really not. i'm pretty sure you look fine. get some botox just for the hell of it because it's amazing and you'll love it.

Google cosmetic fat grafts,my live in and I traveled to Costa Rica to have the procedure done on her face and the results are astonishing, easy ten years taken off her face. Fat grafts are used just about on any area of the body (breasts are a no no on women) arms, hands, legs, buttocks you name it to bring back a youthful looking person.

Just my 2 cents since I'm 25 (I'm getting there!) but 30's is not old. My mom stripped till I graduated High school I think she was 42.. And easily a top earner in her club. She's just sexy and yes thats my mom I'm talking about but a true fem-dainty and cute acting (Im the tom boy type). Totally a hustler but her age but grace and intelligence got her the clients with the real money. I remember she had a regular who bought her rolex's and mink coats! Anyways I'm sure she could have gone on but she was exhausted after working so long since she was like 25.. She is blessed with good genetics BUT she had ridiculously large breast, and strawberry blond or blond hair and she did the whole tan thing which she's totally against now.. Anyways she was hip mama though with super cute jewelry, cute hair accessories and she introduced me to the coolest music lol and she was a huge fan of baby soft colors from Mac mostly.. I was mostly a teenager at the time and I totally looked up to her because I saw how men just always fell all over her. I hope I'm lucky enough to retain some of those genetics but I hope to start stripping after I deliver my first son (soon!) Anyways don't beat yourself up follow current trends, eat fat (I think carbs are the enemy and have read that glucose/sugar accelerates aging!) I think virgin coconut oil is the bomb. And I'm not a cardio (excess cortisol is also bad) fan but very into lifting weights, kettle bells and martial arts. And I second the sleep thing!! Also I don't talk with my mother anymore (long story) but she was very obsessed with skin products (I'd ask her which ones are best IF we were talking) although I'm more a simple/holistic type- my grandmother who aged amazingly was a hardcore albolene fan and I want to experiment with using just that and jojoba oils because they are the closest thing to the oils found naturally in your skin! Good luck to you!!

You say you keep your hair up because it's damaged and thin. I say stop doing this. Think like a guy - young or old, professional or working class, most of them find us sexier with our hair down. We women will see a nice updo as more elegant and flattering, but to them it will look too sensible and serious, and in turn make you look older.

I have thin hair too, but I find clip in extensions make a difference as they give volume, and they conceal most of your natural, damaged ends. Make sure to go for a good quality pack with at least 6 different clips, not just a single weft. If you're a low-maintenance type and can't see yourself attaching them every night, perhaps try permanent extensions. I work with a 44-year-old who had already nice, thick healthy black hair around shoulder length, but she got good quality extensions and looks much younger.

I think big boobs almost always > small, especially in this industry, but something I see as really ageing is wrinkled/freckled leathery decolletage. I havent' seen a picture of you, but if you have a bit of damage, perhaps try Sally Hansen to even out your complexion in this area. As with the face, avoid shimmer. Keep it matte.

Knowing what to cover up/expose changes with age too. Even if you're in good shape, the fact that you can't pass for 18 means perhaps going for different fabrics, avoiding certain colours and patterns etc. I'm only 24 myself, and I know I just look frumpy and trying-too-hard in some outfits that will look really hot on some of the younger girls. I need good fabric that holds me in and smoothes lumps and bumps. And a supportive bra is a must!
