Three words: Coconut Oil Coffee.
Holy shit it's amazing! I never eat breakfast, I usually just do a big lunch and then have healthy snacks for the rest of the day. I know people say breakfast is the most important meal, but I find if I eat too early I get bloated (weird, I know). I've been working with a naturopath to get rid of Candida and fix an underactive thyroid, and try to cook with coconut oil as much as possible. I know oil in coffee sounds weird, but trust me...
Regular (8 oz) amount of hot coffee + 1 tbsp coconut oil + 1 packet of stevia in a blender for 5-10 seconds. It's frothy like a cappuccino and yummy and good for you, and gives non-breakfast eaters like me a little extra energy in the morning.

Breakfast: Cinnamon toast crunch ceareal w/ milk, 2 scrambled eggs and 2 spicy brown and serve sausages, few pieces precooked bacon
Lunch : Homemade nachos with Ortega seasoned taco meat, refried beans, dorrito cool ranch tortilla chips , and kraft sharp cheddar shredded cheese baked in oven. I then added green onions, shredded lettuce ,tomato , sour cream, and el paso salsa. omg so fucking good. small homemade brownie
Dinner: spaghetti noodles with homemade chilli on top, shredded cheese, onions, and tomato on top. for sides: baked potato with butter pepper and salt, sour cream.
hot apple pie ala mode vanilla bean ice cream
Tomorrow back to protein shakes, and only green solids. How depressing.

Lol it's so good... I went and had what is usually my favorite tea (Raspberry Black + Vanilla Black with Agave, yum) with my FWB this morning and was craving the Coconut Coffee the whole time! Don't forget to blend it though, or else-- shit's just strange...

Solid! Unrefined + Virgin or Extra-Virgin... Any brand is OK, really. Just make sure it is Unrefined because Refined coconut oil has been altered to be tasteless, which is good for savory dishes but bad when you want the coconut-y sweetness! I buy 365 or Spectrum brand, both are good. Spectrum's unrefined, virgin, medium heat is a little bit sweeter. Add the oil to the coffee and blend it when it's still hot - the hotter the coffee, the more flavor you'll get out of the oil.
If you don't usually use coconut oil for your cooking, or your body isn't used to it, I recommend starting with 1/2 TBSP... It can have a bit of a laxative effect. :D

Yum! I'll have to look that recipe up, that sounds so good.
Yesterday I started off good.
Coconut oil coffee
Homemade chicken and vegetable soup
An apple
A handful of pistachios
...Then I had 4 Jack & Gingers at work and half of a cheeseburger from McDonalds on the way home. Only half, because I threw the other half out of my car window to keep myself from eating the rest of it. So I broke my own food rules AND I littered!
(I love this thread, keeps me accountable! :) lol)
