Oh wow pizzedoff your lunch sounds amazing!
lol, so amazing I had a repeat of yesterdays so no need to repost! Banana peppers and pickles really liven it up for me. It may sound nasty but I eat spinach salad everyday of my life and get in spells and eat certain toppings until get sick of it and then on to the next toppings and repeat. lol.It makes my hair so freaking healthy looking, I could never give it up. for dinner will be lemon pepper fish baked in oven wild rice. I cant wait. Dessert some fruit or cheese whichever sounds best at the time.

Last night I had a cheeseburger from McDonalds. :/ I really need to start packing my own food and bringing it to work!
Breakfast/Lunch (woke up super late): Gluten-free Muesli with Coconut Kefir
Snack: handful of sprouted almonds
Dinner: Organic chicken breasts pounded and stuffed with cheddar rice cheese, diced green apple, parsley and gluten free breadcrumbs. Cooked in white wine/broth which later became gravy. Served with spicy mashed sweet potato and a small spinach and tomato salad. Now I have a huge mess in the kitchen to clean up...
Dessert: A Ghiradelli dark chocolate square.
To drink: Lots of water and some green tea. :)

Plantain is like a banana, but you have to fry it. Mostly eaten in S. America.
And good for you for eating spinach salads all the time! Doesn't matter what you do with toppings, that's such a healthy habit.
chanzep: I'm going to hunt for some mango lychee tea now. That sounds sooo yummy.

k- that's weird yesterday I went to Big Lots and they sell Plantain dehydrated chips (I think they are from Mexico or Spanish, the only thing noticed it said plantain). They had a lot of authentic foreign foods in there. I also got some Italy olive oil , and some Spanish bean type package, and English tea cookies. I bought a bag and will let you know how I like them once I bust them out for a snack. It looks like trail mix bananas. I might add to some cereal for dinner tonight.

For breakfast a müller yogurt with granola, and two english muffins topped with eggs over easy and spinach; for lunch, three slices of digiorno's pizza; for dinner, a "Top Chef Healthy Choice" linguine pasta dish; after that, I had about five pieces of Italian bread with brie cheese.
I went grocery shopping yesterday for the first time since I've lived at this current apartment, so I'm not getting takeout all the time anymore :)

k- that's weird yesterday I went to Big Lots and they sell Plantain dehydrated chips (I think they are from Mexico or Spanish, the only thing noticed it said plantain).
The chips usually just taste like potato chips, but a bit blander IMO. At least in my experience in Colombia. But I looooooove fried plantain. It brings out the sugars. If you live near any South American restaurants (esp. Colombian or Ecuadorean - I'm sure there are other countries that eat in similar ways too), look for fried 'platano maduro' with bocadillo (guava paste) and queso campesino (white cheese.) One of my favourite foods in the world.
My food today:
Wholegrain toasted sandwich with cheese and chilli tuna.
Coffee with soy milk.
Cranberry green tea (smells amazing)
Two pears, small banana, and handful of brazil nuts.
Dinner probably some sort of chicken stirfry and Greek yogurt with prunes.

I know. My spring break was last week so this week I haven't gotten back in the swing of things... it's been so tough for me to get up for school the last couple days, I wait until the last minute so I have to rush out the door without eating. Then I tell myself it's OK, I'll eat at school... then I get to school and have to much schoolwork to find time and before I know it, it's the end of the day and I realize all I've had was a little bit of junk food :( It's sucks because I love to eat, food makes me happy. On a brighter note, sounds like you ate well today!

My spring break starts next week, I am glad because business law has been heavy on the mind. I highly suggest you have something because as you said food makes you happy, happiness = high quality of life. Any little bit of joy we can obtain, we must. Okay thats kinda nutty/corny but oatmeal or some healthy cereal is good, quick prep...down the hatch and your on a full tank. Bring some bananas with you, an apple, orange. Peanut butter sandwiches on whole wheat bread is good...and easy to transport. I always emphasize eating because its so vital to our functions...of course you know this but often a lot of us sometimes take it for granted/dismiss it. Its like sunblock/sunscreen....I know I should wear it and how important it is yet I put it off and barely wear it if any. Then again I avoid the sun so much my doctor said I need to take some vitamin D and get in the damn sun.
Yes, those chicken wings and french fries were so bad but so good.

Yeah. So far today I've had my vanilla w/ granola yogurt, an omelette with spinach, tomato, mushroom, and cheese, and an english muffin. Yummy!
What were you saying about business law? Do you practice that? (I'm still on my undergrad but I plan on going to grad school afterwards and getting a dual degree, MBA and Law)

That all sounds good, specifically the granola yogurt.
The business law class is for self enrichment and possibly for some sort of business degree I may earn. We just had our midterm this week and it was fill in the blank. For goodness sake at least be multiple choice damn lol.
Breakfast: Oatmeal with cinnamon, hot green tea for drink.
Lunch: In-N-Out Burger double double no spread and buns extra toasted, cup of ice water for drink.
Afternoon snack: Carne asada taco from some truck. Cup of ice water for drink.

After dinner snack: banana and a glass of milk.
P.S. Godspeed with the degree pursuit, education is priceless.

Gluten-free cereal with fat-free soy milk.
Low-fat cottage cheese with cucumber and tuna.
Handful of raw sugar snap peas.
One corn, chia & flax thin topped with one egg white and curry powder.
Baked salmon, small piece of roast pumpkin, and steamed broccoli and sugar snap peas topped with chilli and lemon juice.
Fat-free Greek yogurt with chopped pear and prunes.
One black coffee.
Two cranberry green teas.
One cup of T2 (Aussie brand) Liquorice Legs tea. It has mint, fennel and liquorice root. I've been adding fresh parsley as well. Or on hot days, I make a jug of water infused with fresh parsley and mint leaves. Doing this because an expensive fluid-retention supplement I took last year had parsley as it's main ingredient. And I definitely noticed a difference. It might sound strange, but I actually like the flavour.
Yep, I'm on a diet! Specifically, a get back into dancing shape so I can move out of my parents
house ASAP diet!

I had a horrible break up with a dude who in some kind of twisted revenge plot gave my number to some of his thugged out friends who occasionally text me nasty shit and call me in the middle of the night. Sadly last night was one of those nights and I was so annoyed I got up in the early hours and ate a gigantic burrito with carne asada, pinto beans, yellow rice, tons of jack, salsa, sour cream and hot sauce. It was so fucking good. Although I do feel like I am still going to look like a kangaroo at work tomorrow. And it sucks to post this right under what is also my own personal favorite quote (see above) "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"....It sat at the top of my screen reminding me while I described my burrito LOL

The other day I made a pasta salad using whole-grain orzo instead of pasta. I added chopped green peppers, red peppers, garlic, capers, cilantro, and lime juice (plus olive oil, salt, balsamic vinegar, red pepper flakes, etc). I've been mixing that with crisp, fresh spinach to make a different kind of salad. I top that with grated parmesan cheese and whole capers. It's super good! I always forget how great fresh spinach is; it's exceedingly healthy, but doesn't have that "I'm eating green stuff" flavor. Yum!

FatBlaster 2 Day Coconut Detox (http://www.coconutdetox.com.au/whatis.html). I've done it before and really struggled last time. I ended up stretching it out to three days with some meals instead of the coconut drink. Still, I noticed my stomach felt really flat afterwards.
It's easier this time because I've already been eating very small low-carb meals for the past week. It's still not fun. At least it tastes good, and I'm used to drinking large amounts of water. Can't wait for breakfast in two days!
And less than half a cup of chicken/pumpkin/barley soup my Mum made me eat, lol.
