This thread makes me feel bad about myself. I live on yogurt, toasts, pasta, cheese and peanut butter... I just moved and I have to walk forever to get groceries. So I don't get then and just but crap and the little deli, by my house. So basically, I shop at a 7-11. Before I moved I are really good food... But I didn't make it. Again, I GOTTA learn to cook!! You healthy, yummy cooking ladies are amazing!!

^I'm like that a lot too. I hardly ever go grocery shopping although I do like having groceries. There's a 7-11 right outside my apartment complex and I always go there lol. I also eat at way too many restaurants and get carry out as well, which is a lot of money. I definitely need to go grocery shopping soon!

I am cutting out refined sugars, amongst other things, for a while to clear my skin and I'm PMSing. NOT EATING CHOCOLATE IS THE HARDEST FUCKING THING IN THE WORLD. :( I stood in the sweets aisle at Walgreens for a good 10 minutes the other day just contemplating the variety of truffles. That is all.

I've started adding 1-2 drops of lemon essential oil (only use food- or therapeutic-grade oils) to glasses of water. Yum! And SO good for you!

Breakfast:
Eggs Benedicts w/bacon, tomato, avocado
Diced red skin potatoes
One apple pancake
An Absolut Mandarin screwdriver
Dinner:
Half a bottle of Riesling
One Lamb chop
A few slices of a different cut of lamb (can't remember what it's called)
One filet mignon wrapped in bacon
A couple pieces of sushi
A few cucumbers
Corn salsa salad
Asparagus
A couple pieces of seared Ahi Tuna
A couple dinner croissants
It was my friend's 21st birthday (finally!) so I came to visit her in Chicago and treated her to brunch at this awesome breakfast place, and also treated her to dinner at this awesome Brazillian steakhouse (tab for the 2 of us was $190 including tip but well worth it). We ate good yesterday lol!

Lunch: Protein bar and A LOT of water lol (post work out ;)).
Dinner: Grilled org. veg and org. brown rice gf tacos.

-coffee, 2 packets stevia, splash of fat free half n half, dash of cinnamon
-1/2 cup oats mixed with 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/2 banana, 1 tbsp PB2
-5 scrambled egg whites with a little tarragon/sea salt/pepper
10am:
-Kashi Heart to Heart cereal with unsweetened vanilla almond milk
11:30am:
-4 oz chicken, 1 cup green beans

Mmmm...steel-cut oats now that it's getting colder outside.
Sautee 1 cup steel-cut oats in coconut or olive oil until they start to smell nutty and delicious. Pour in 3 cups of water and bring to a rolling boil. Turn the heat off and cover them. Leave overnight. In the morning, heat the oats up separately and add cinnamon, agave, bananas, raisins, pecans, or whatever else you have lying around.

Lunch/dinner (...yeah I got up late lol): Avocado bruschetta (bruschetta mixture in a halved avo'), Free range grilled chicken.

Okay, I still can't cook worth a damn, but I have gotten back on decent food. I have chronic hypoglycemia and was working a lot and relied on soda to keep my blood sugar up. As you can imagine, I got very sick rather quickly.
Today has been:
Kashi GoLean Original Cereal with 2% reduced fat milk
Whole wheat Ritz crackers with almond butter
An apple
A glass of orange juice when my blood sugar started feeling a bit low
A single serving of Siggi's Icelandic acai and mixed berry yogurt
No coffee, no tea, no soda :'(

LOL, hey the vast majority of us I am sure have had those kind of "mornings/end of the workdays", I know I have....but nothing wrong with having a little laugh at it :)

Yesterday I went to a Thai place and ordered something called Salmon Coo Chee. I thought that name was really funny.... Salmon coochie! (I think the dish is usually called Choo Chee, but this place dropped the first "h.")

There is this Thai dish I had the other day called "Massaman Curry" it was really good, coconut milk, potatoes, chicken, avocado, cashews, sounds weird, but actually really tasty.

Breakfast: 2 pieces of whole grain toast with turkey & a lil bit of sharp cheddar, 1/2 cup cran/pom juice, black coffee
Lunch: 2 pieces of the same bread with leftover baked tilapia, a shit-ton of lettuce & baby spinach, tomato, avocado & a smidge of mayo ('twas yummy)
Dinner: A piece and 1/2 of Margherita pizza (that took restraint, y'all)
about 5,000 ounces of H2O
...aaaand... NOT ONE BEER!

Was craving chicken Parmesan today, thank-god they don't have it at the takeout places here, made a salad instead with black Spanish olives lettuce radish, vine tomato, and had some tortilla chips with it.
filled me up but Im still craving cheesey chicken.

I ate okra with red sauce and sausages and white rice that I cooked a day ago. Then the second time of eating I ate a shrimp tempura roll, baked salmon roll and edamame later in the day.
