Breakfast: Two cafes au lait, two pieces of spicy tuna sushi, roughly two ounces of salmon collar (everything in twos being a total coincidence and not an OCD diet thing, I swear)

Snack: Gala apple

When I get home from school I'll probably make cinnamon toast with sprouted grain bread because that sounds yummy.

I've been obsessed with beans lately. Legumes are soooo cheap and sooo healthy! Love the one-pot possibilities since I have zero patience for cooking. Sautee some onions and garlic, add whatever chopped up veges you have on hand, pour a can of tomatoes into the mix, add any amount of beans, salt, balsamic vinegar, olive oil... I also add quinoa if I have any pre-made, or I'll serve it over brown rice.

Not something I'd recommend eating before work. ;)

been doing a bunch of kale, parsley, spinach, cilantro ( just learned that cilantro helps cleanse your blood of heavy metals and mercury, great antioxidant too!), white tea with lots of lemon! and then drinking a cup of pomegranate juice a day..its so amazing for digestion and skin!
and oatmeal with walnuts and almonds..well, more like walnuts and almonds with a little bit of oatmeal haha.
also getting into salmon, and having it at least twice a week. i like the kind that's smoked you can put on crackers, way easier in a pinch!

Hell yeah girl! Parsley is also ridiculously healthy. I used to make hardcore green smoothies with a bunch of parsley + bananas and water. Yuck!! But sooo healthy!

The weirdest thing I've been consuming lately is warm almond milk with wheat germ stirred in. Wheat germ is very, very healthy: http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/why-you-need-wheat-germ I always hate it when articles contain sentences like this: "One French study from 1992 found that eating 30 grams, or about a quarter of a cup, of raw wheat germ a day for 14 weeks lowered total cholesterol by 7.2%." Like, who the fuck is consuming 1/4 cup of wheat germ a day? I can picture someone doing lines of it on the kitchen counter...gotta lower that damn cholesterol!!

Simone, I had no idea that cilantro is a blood cleanser and heavy metal detox agent! Thank you! I've been researching about foods that detoxify your system. This I will remember. ;)

Look into parsley too! http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=100

Remember, always cycle through your greens to avoid any issues. Greens are powerful (especially if consumed after juice or food processing).

Hey ladies :) I found a really useful clean eating challenge over at Buzzfeed. I'm not making all the food every day obviously because I can't afford to, but I do make a lot of the recipes in conjunction with each other for the week. These are great and very tasty, meaning that they will help you to stay on the wagon. I have been eating like this for about three weeks and am proud to say that I haven't had a fast food craving or woken up feeling tired etc. I have also lost three inches around my waist which is awesome.

Here is the link, enjoy :)

OMG have not been eating much these last few weeks. I let my cupboards go completely bare but finally went to the store tonight. Ate almost an entire thing of Lays Stax, then a snack size Hershey bar. Earlier in the day it was just a cup of coffee. Can't wait to take my Xanax tonight- then I can actually enjoy my food :)

^When I used to work 5-6 days a week yes (I would literally get out of bed at 6pm and be at work by 7pm). I couldn't do that anymore, it's unhealthy and not much fun.

Oh my goodness, I would faint. I work 5 days a week myself, usually 10pm to 4am, but am always up by 11am so I can have a full day. I can't do the heavy sleep in, vampire schedule, I get depressed.

On work days and busy days, yes. Other days I might have a tiny snack (half piece of toast, few bites of fruit) when I wake up, have one meal during the day, followed by another small snack in the evening.

But then on vacation-type days I might stuff myself all day long. My eating habits are pretty irregular and depend on my activity. It's probably not healthy.
