omelette with green pepper, onion, spinach, mushrooms, and cheese, raspberry Greek yogurt, and Italian wedding soup so far. Water all day but at this point I'm getting so tired of drinking water because that's what I drink all the time. I'm going to buy some sparkling water.

Try mixing in 0 calorie flavors. I drink nothing but water as well, and a bit of mio or something similar works wonders to keep me sane.

Hot ginger and lemon tea, a cup of Tropicana orange juice with vitamin D and calcium, and water. I didn't feel hungry until lunch time. I had minestrone soup. I had chicken, lemon, carrot, and rice soup for dinner and cashews. I'm sick so my appetite isn't great right now.

I'd been doing so good, steadily dropping weight, but then I found out my son had a bag of doritos hidden in the cabinet. I thought hey, I'll just have one, right? But no, you can never have just one. I ate half the bag! I don't even know how it happened. Next thing I know, my wife is pulling the bag away from me and nacho cheese is everywhere! I woke up this morning and the scale went up .2 lbs. :(

Back to the gym and back on the diet. Gotta run an extra half mile today.

Ha, I know what that's like. My ex's parents are junk food junkies and they're always sending cookies, candy, chips, donuts, or some other kind of delicious junk food back with her. One time she sent ginger snap cookies and my daughter didn't like them. I ate almost the entire bag in one sitting. It was bad.

I wasn't feeling breakfast or anything sweet this morning so I had a spinach leaf, tomato, and chicken salad. I'm working today so I ordered honey bbq boneless chicken , garlic parmesan wings from Pizza Hut(they're so good!) and I brought another salad with me. This'll be my lunch and dinner.

Wings sounds so good right now. I'm super jealous. I think, because of that, I might throw some breading on one of the grilled chicken breasts I'm prepping, to go along with my half a cup of green beans and 9 almonds. That's almost the same?

Did you end up doing that? Your meal was probably healthier than mine since yours was homemade, but damn did that chicken taste amazing.

Last night was actually pretty tame for our get-togethers. We had a pretty good time all things considered. Then again, on our crazy night scale together, her 10 is WAY up there. Last night was about a 4. Some crying, some screaming, some punching, lots of singing (correct lyrics optional), and of course, the aforementioned defenestration of my chicken sandwich.

No, counting calories is too much work. Stick with portion size. Find a healthy eating plan. Lean protein, lots and lots of green leafy vegetables, stay away from high carb, high sugar foods. Avoid eating after 7ish and drink lots and lots of water and exercise. Exercise doesn't have to be intense, just brisk walking for 45 minutes to get your heart rate up 4 or 5 times a week. Keep healthy snacks around to take the edge off hunger.
