I didn't feel like eating breakfast so I had two cups of black coffee. Lunch was brown rice w/ broccoli and carrots. I had a chopped bell pepper w/ hummus for a snack. For dinner I made a spicy vegan ranch wrap with Gardein "chicken" nuggets dipped in Frank's red hot and vegan ranch dressing, spinach, onion, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, salsa, and shredded vegan cheese.
I usually don't eat processed vegan foods but I felt like being a little naughty hehe

I eat the same things until I'm absolutely sick of it and I won't eat them for a while. Then I'll try them again and wonder why I stopped eating it in the first place. I'm a person who needs a routine.

Back from the field and back on my diet! 2 whole eggs and 2 egg whites with a half a cup of unsweetened applesauce, 3 cashews, 3 almonds, and 6 peanuts for breakfast. 4 ounces of grilled chicken, half a cup of baby carrots, and 9 almonds for lunch, and dinner was 5 ounces of grilled chicken, 3 cashews, 3 almonds, and 6 peanuts.
Workouts are back on too, though today was a day off in preparation for tomorrow's monstrosity... As a team of 5, I'm bringing a monster truck tire, a 45 lb barbell, 2 45 lb plates, and a 53 lb kettlebell half a mile up a steep hill. At the top, we are doing 100 tire flips, 200 squats with 135 lbs, 300 bodyweight push ups, and 500 kettlebell swings. At the end, we put the 135 lbs on our shoulders and walk 200 meters back and forth across the hill top for a total of 10 laps. After that, we bring everything back to the bottom of the hill. Someone put me in charge of the workout, and that's what I came up with. Should be fun!

I had a banana, a vanilla protein shake, a handful of almonds, Italian wedding soup, watermelon, and two salads with grilled chicken strips, sunflower seeds, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese in it. It's super hot today and I had to fight the strong urge all day to go out and get ice cream. I settled with a glass of chocolate almond milk instead.

I had just heated up a bowl of cream of wheat for breakfast and removed it from the microwave, when a rather large spider came dangling out of nowhere and decided to give me a Little Miss Muffet experience. It plopped down right on to the outer rim of the bowl, causing me to send it and the bowl flying into the air and onto the floor. I ended up having some dry cinnamon Life cereal instead. For lunch I sauteed some onions, garlic, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, and basil in olive oil and put it over zucchini noodles.

Omg, these are so good!!! For those avoiding dairy like me and miss cheese puff doodles, here's a healthier non-dairy version...

There's even a paleo version which is non-dairy too, that's just as good.

- two bowls of cherries, one for a snack and one for desert
- 1/3 pack of Krave jerky.
- 2/3 cup of fish/rice biryani
- leftover Lebanese parsley salad
- a tomato
- 3 small squares of chocolate
- 1 almond
Probably about 1000 Cal overall.
yesterday: nothing: I felt full all day from Monday.
Monday: OMG, you wouldn't believe it. Great party. 3-4 fairly full plates. 12 or so cookie deserts. A huge bowl of cherries. Brochettes, bread, the works. I porbably out-ate everyone else there. I'd guess 4-5000 Cals.
5-6000 Cals in 3 days. Evens out. Keeps me happy. I put paid to the idea that eating must be regular!

I make this avocado/cilantro ranch all the time using the packet of ranch powder. It calls for buttermilk (which I make from adding a tb of vinegar to milk) and mayo. Then I mix in an avocado, fresh cilantro and lime juice. Obviously you could do a low fat mayo and skim milk...however this has a lot of chemical preservatives due to the packet.
Ranch is essentially onion powder, garlic powder, the dairy and either parsley or oregano so I am sure you could play around with maybe apple cider vinegar and greek yogurt or maybe some nut/cashew milk to make it healthier. I like to add cracked pepper as well.
Sorry, I know its not really a recipe but a basis to play around.

Sleep deprivation + depression = craving the wrong food and deciding to indulge a little bit, closely followed by saying fuckit and going way OTT.
The weeks highlights include: Baked chicken nuggets and fries (3 days in a row), froyo, too much chocolate, too much peanut butter, pizza, beer.
I did have some greens and an apple today too.

A protein shake for breakfast and a granola bar and then I went out to lunch with someone and said,"Screw it! Bring on the junk!". I had chicken tenders and french fries with a tall, ice cold glass of lemonade. Shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and spinach leaf salad for dinner. I tossed them all together in a bowl with some lemon juice and dill and called it a meal.

-Coffee with Califia Farms hazelnut-caramel vegan creamer. Soooo good! I usually drink it black but wanted to indulge.
-Vietnamese spring rolls with rice paper wraps, spinach, cucumber, carrots, tofu, bell pepper and a peanut sauce I made with peanut butter, liquid aminos (which is like a healthier sub for soy sauce), sriracha, chopped garlic and a little agave.
-Homemade lentil soup with celery, carrots, onions and mushrooms.
I'm stuffed but I do have a little chocolate chia pudding in the fridge that I made with chia seeds, cacao powder, almond milk, date sugar (which is made from dried pulverized dates and only has 20 cals per serving so great option for healthy dessert) and agave nectar. So I might top that with some berries and have dessert if I feel hungry later.
