Desu, we have the same bday I think? Or you're the day after. There were four girls with birthdays on the 5th or 6th this past week and I work at a pretty small club.

I'm cooking up all the leftover frozen meats in my freezer this week....
I've made meatloaf (1/2 buffalo, 1/2 grass fed beef), but this time I just threw in a meatloaf seasoning packet, one egg, and a can of sliced mushrooms. Tastes great with ketchup!
I JUST cooked up one of the most amazing things I've ever made, and probably the best beef dish I've ever made.... I marinated a flank steak overnight in a blend of 1 cup of olive oil, 1/2 cup of Balsamic vinegar, 1/3 cup of honey, 1/3 cup of soy sauce, salt, pepper, and lemon juice (all measurements approximate, I don't exactly remember). Looking back I should have added some ginger and garlic, but oh well..... I scored the steak really well with a knife, making small slits all over it before marinating. It sat in my fridge for about 24 hours, and I then I sliced it into strips, and broiled it over high heat, braising it in the leftover marinade, but not too much, so that the outside layers exposed to the heat became more crispy/beef jerky -ish, but the inside was really juicy and flavorful. I only broiled it a total of 10 minutes or less, it cooked really fast, and I cooked it to about medium. I noticed that when I sliced it before broiling, the marinade had really soaked in and absorbed into the meat deep from where I scored it and actually changed the color to a dark brown. Usually flank steak is a tough cut, but this came out REALLY tender/melt in your mouth because of how long I marinated/prepped it, and I think the olive oil and honey really "moisturized" it!
Last night I had Korean food for the first time in my life... wow! Seafood pancake and kim chi potatoes rock!
Coming up this week I am cooking my leftover tilapia and cod, as well as 1 lb of ground turkey breast..... I'm open to recipe ideas! :)

JD you put a lot of prep time into your food...I even saw you bust out a slow cooker:) Lucky person you cook for...
ha ha only myself! By the way, slow cookers are the ultimate lazy person's cooking tool. You just throw a bunch of stuff in there and turn it on. It's not actually cooking. :)

I've noticed a lot of guilty-sounding posts, even with healthy menu items. Have fun with food, it keeps you alive.
Anyway I had:
-8 oz fat free milk
-whole wheat sandwich with soy cheese, sauteed onions, tomato, and red leaf lettuce
-6 oz tilapia fillet
-steamed kale w/ lemon + garlic
-roasted broccoli
-1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt w/ bananas and honey

I wish I could eat like Glitzy :( I think one of my problems is that while I love to snack on fruit and veggies, I crave hot food all the time..
Irish oatmeal with a scoop of banana cream protein powder mixed in
Think Thin granola bar
small frozen organic veggie lasagna
bowl of Special K red berries cereal with coconut milk
2 bottles of water
a handful of chocolate covered gummy bears
annnnnd I'm about to bake some fish because I'm starving! Trying to ignore the mochi I bought today in a moment of weakness. I need to start drinking a kale smoothie every morning again.
Great recipe, if anyone wants to try it:
green kale
1 packet frozen sambazon acai pulp
1/4 cup blueberries
1/2 banana (optional)
6 ounces coconut milk
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 tsp coconut oil or 1 scoop of protein powder if you want to feel fuller.

I see why you'd say that. Two comments though:
1) I don't think a lot of people on here are posting EVERYTHING they've eaten today. People, for the most part, are only sharing the interesting parts of what they've eaten. (with exceptions, of course)
2) Eating too much of the wrong stuff can be just as hard on your body as eating far too little. So, while someone who posts "I ate six hamburgers" might make the anti-ana members happier, it really shouldn't.

I always post my entire daily intake.
Hey Glitzy- does your diet get really expensive? I'm thinking of incorporating smoothies for breakfast (I have a hard time eating before 2-3pm) and I don't want to put dairy in them, but the cost of all the produce is daunting to me.
