Actually, getting an 08 Ford Escape shortly--and that will be by choice.
So Hondas/Acuras/Ford ftw. }:D

I'm bored as fuck! I HATE not being able to work and digging into my savings. I miss the club and everyone there. I hate being on crutches, I hate not being able to pole dance, I hate having to wear a massive boot on my foot 24/7. Thank god for the internet!
On a positive note my UK fling earlier this year is traveling to Canada to visit me!! Nothing boosts your ego like a guy (the nicest guy I've ever dated) traveling half way across the world to see you XD!! It's good to know this time next week I'll be having amazing sex whenever I want - just gotta try not to kick him the head with my boot, lol.

FUUUUCK Ford. I've owned 3, and they've been - BY FAR - the worst cars I ever owned. Wouldn't mind them having issues if they were reasonable to work on; wouldn't mind them being a BITCH to work on so much if they didn't break down ALL THE FUCKING TIME. And they have so many completely unnecessary parts - that literally don't serve any purpose AT ALL - that all break, and are all dealer only.
Honda's/Acura's (I knew that because I know the thread of which you spoke, lol) are good cars, even great cars - but as a car guy among car guys, there's just nothing you can do with one that hasn't been done. Hate seeing myself at every stoplight, lol. Oh - and I like torque, and Honduhs are allergic to it. :P
GM FTW. Yes, they have made some AWFUL cars. But a GM guy knows which ones to get and which ones to avoid. The good ones are reliable as hell, parts are cheap as fuck when they do need work, and they're actually built like they might have to come apart some day. And they make gobs and gobs of power. :D

i am looking for a place in key west and all craigslist is giving me are obnoxiously high-priced fantasy fest rentals. if it were not for this lortab and i could, in fact, feel feelings, i would feel upset.

!st & Foremost, I am sorry you are upset. Background checks are very common today for just about any type of rental.also employers looking to hire. the place I looked at before where I live now, required both Bkgrnd ck & criminal history bc.
Especially short term, room rentals etc. Not saying anything about you being untrustworthy, but that's how it is.
A friend of a friend rented out an attic..one day the cops knocked on the door, the guy had well, I won't say a lot here, but he was caught in big trouble, & I don't think he even had any priors, (she did not do a check on him) so even with a bc it can be risky
Anyway, best of luck to you, I hope you feel better soon, & get a great Place!:)

I like being tanned and hate going to the beds. I know that they're damaging if you go too often (which I know I don't but they are still bad). However, reading some of the stuff about Jab a Tan has really put me off of it so it's something that I won't do OVER tanning beds.
try to find other things that you have to do in the area and then group it all together. I used to have to take a 25$ cab ride to the tanning salon but it was right across the street from the mall. I would save up all my shopping and then just do the two at the same time.

It's funny how this happens sometimes. The other night I sat with a guy for waaaaaayyyyy too long because the club was absolutely dead and I really thought I'd get him in the back eventually. I didn't, and it pissed me the fuck off. So much so that when I see him in the club again I will get him kicked out.

after work this guy came over and was bugging us all for rides. Then he told a girl "I will give you 100$ to share your cab!" and she said no. I was like. My driver will drop you off!
where he was going was literally across the street. I made 100$ for absolutely nothing.

Googling is fun. I Googled both my stage name and my entertainment agency and found:
Entertainment agency
1)A party company specializing on kid events in Vegas
2)A company booking bands in Wisconsin
3)Another kid agency, only this one books popular characters. Don't remember the area.
Stage name:
1) Someone getting her Ph.D
2)Real estate agent
3)Someone who actually does what I do now (online training specialist), only they do it in Los Angeles.
But nothing on me pops up on either. I suppose that is good.

When I Google my name, despite many public things I've done and a lot of things that I would THINK were out there, 90% of the results are race results from SCCA events.
Funny story - a couple years ago a long-time ago GF found me because her SO at the time was Googling something about cars, and a race results page showed up with my extremely unusual and somewhat unforgettable real name on it, which led her to an SCCA region board where she found my email address, lol.

When I Google my real name I find my Facebook, Linked-In and photos I posted to a drive-in site, also several reviews I did on Amazon. I will often Google ex boyfriends or people I knew and it's pretty interesting. One was a racecar driver on some semi NASCAR circuit and started a business. Oddly he keep wanting to date again but am not going that route (he was strange).

I'm a hard person to Google, due to several variations on my given name, multiple aliases, and some confusion regarding my surname.
I'm a fairly hard bitch to find, and I like it that way.

My real first name is fairly common but my last name is not but I get a lot of hits on my last name (which is the name of both a king and a saint). I went to those "find a person" types of sites and found me with the same locations I've lived at but with different ages, including 56. I also found myself listed with the last name of one of my exboyfriends that I lived with. No idea whatsoever why since I never married him and even if I had I never would have taken his name.

haha - I'm screwed there, lol. I would be SHOCKED if there was one single person on earth besides me with my full name, lol. First and last, there are quite a few relatively speaking (though not many on the whole, since my last name is so uncommon). Throw middle into the mix (which is what I go by, most of my family goes by middle names) and no fucking way, lol.
Naida
11-08-2011, 01:49 PM
My name is unique to only me as well. The first, which I hate, is a Christian name that was martyr'd (lol) by my mother's spelling. My middle name, which I'm quite proud of, is German and also incorrectly spelled. My maiden name is descended from German nobility. My surname by marriage (I'm divorced and there's still a lot of confusion regarding which name should be used- it's complicated) is Irish.
Add in that I go by a few nicknames which are shortened from my first and middle, there are variations of those nicknames, and a few other unrelated aliases, I'm virtually impossible to Google. If some one did manage to, it would be incredibly hard to verify due to other names compounded by constantly changing location and appearance.

Gotta be at the wedding site at 3pm. It's 9am and I still haven't slept. Gotta wax my eyebrows (should have done it yesterday, but the swelling/redness goes down fast for me so I can do it same day) and put dye in my hair. Since my roots are epicly long now, I've decided to do a light bleaching to bring down the darkness of my roots without turning them blonde while brightening the blonde ends, then dying it all blue for that "ombre" effect. And the boyfriend nixed my dress, so I'm wearing black leggings with a classy (if short) minidress.
Why do people do this hoopla? Why get married in the first damned place? But this is the first go at it for the both of them, so I guess I get where they are mentally.

I used to be one of those wedding haters until I got older. Now I don't like all the wedding stuff but enjoy the reception. I will not marry unless I have the big church/reception and this means a lot to me. This is probably another reason why I generally am not open to dating divorced guys because almost every divorced guy I knew if they were open to remarriage were not open to big weddings. They all did it before so they didn't get why it can be a big deal. Plus the idea of doing a big wedding with a guy who already did it is very deflating.
However, I despise a lot of the other things in wedding planning. If I marry I will have a coed party, not a women only bridal shower. I despise these more than anything else. I also would not have many bridal attendants, just a few bridesmaids. Not to mention I would want to make most of the decorations and I know many people who make decorations for fun. I also would allow bridesmaids to pick their own dress as long as it was the color I was using.

It was the big church ceremony bullshit that makes me hate it. Making a big religious thing out of a legal joining when neither the bride or groom is THAT religious. I sat and smiled and wished well at the ceremony, but had a huge meltdown before the reception. We skipped it and went to the after party, which was more genuine.
Maybe this stems from my own failed engagement to remarry. We were going to have a fairly sized spiritual affair that was more about our feelings for each other and the loved ones around us. Nothing legal and no religious overtones.
Kellydancer
11-18-2011, 12:32 AM
Then it definitely makes sense. I personally don't get these people who have religious ceremonies yet never attend church. My ex best friend is like that, she has never gone to church yet wanted a church wedding. I rarely go to the church ceremonies unless I have to.
