I have a question:
clips4sale don't want to work with me because I'am from Russia, but I know that some russian studios are presented on this site. Maybe anyone knows some ways to open studio from blocked countries?

I had a large sum less as well and Gia told me that c4s will cover the extra fees and continue working to eliminate them in the future. You should contact gia at clips4sale.com and tell him/her about the fees.
I often hear people freeze their store, take a pause, put on hold etc. until c4s is "better" again. In my first month, I worked 12-14 hours a day solely on c4s and clipmaking. I made $400 the whole month. 4 months later I made $6000 the whole month, and that was a summer month. Some stores work better right away, some don't, some certainly never could but I DO think that many give up way early because the money is not coming in right from day 1. Normal businesses make a loss the first year or two, that is totally normal due to expenses with setting up shop. On c4s, you don't make a loss, you even have a small profit right from the beginning. Many can't survive the first 3-4 months without real income, I understand that. But if you can, try pushing for a few months and I am certain that, maybe with the help of another studio and an MV store as backup, you can make a real income.

I don't know how to say this without sounding bitchy, but......
I'm always baffled when people give up on C4S. It is PASSIVE INCOME. You can make money 7 days a week, you can make money in your SLEEP, you can make money in your PAJAMAS! (And film it and make MORE money! lol).
But I think because setting up a store and shooting clips is (kind of) easy, that people assume the making money part will be too. But just like any other job (and ESPECIALLY when you are self-employed and depending on yourself), you need to put the work in. You need to be consistent and keep at it. It DOES pay off, I know from my own experience. Since I have started my store....I have improved the lighting in my clips, wrote better descriptions, improved my gifs (animated preview images), tried new categories, camera angles, etc, etc. And all of it has paid off. It is a learning experience and it takes self discipline but the rewards are great.
I know there is money to be made on C4S, but I also know it takes WORK.

For any studios in Canada who are currently paying wire fees, PM me and I can fill you in on how to open a US bank account linked to a Canadian bank account so you can get DD with no fees :) It's fucking awesome. No waiting for cheques in the mail, no big ol wire fees. I use DD for sites with Boleyn Models and Niteflirt as well.

Ok...i understand your point girls but...i think i am example that not everybody can make a lot of money here. And yes it's passive income and it's great, but it's not that passive for me if i spend my whole days taking care of my store. I opened my store like a year ago, but just opened, upload couple of clips maybe for one month and stop. The real work i start like 6 months ago. For six months i work my ass off. Spending all days on recording, editing ( and sometimes editing one clip takes me like an hour), i can say i spend minimum 8 hours a day focused on c4s. Like in a normal job. Every day. And for six months my income was like from 300$ to max 500$. Ok, someone can say, oh u should work more, like 12h a day or something. But...i choose this job over normal ob to have a little more freedom. I can be chained to a computer in a normal job, and i don't need that. I just feel like the time that i spend on this is not worth it. The problem is i don't do popular fetishes like toilet, i am not a domme, i am not showing nudity. Just normal fetishes like hands fetish, feet fetish, swallowin/drolling. Hope u can understand also my point of view, and i am waiting for your thoughts, and advices.
And Tea4me, shooting clips it's not that easy, at least for me. I am perfectionist, i like when everything is just the way i want. Sometimes i shoot one scene a coule of times to look perfect, i like when my gifs look great, i just spend a lot of time to make a good clip, and i feel bad when a 10 minute clip takes me an hour to shoot and edit.

C4S is awesome, but regardless of if you use it as your main gig or not, it's nice to know when you'll actually GET your pay, and for that pay to actually be the accurate sum rather than like $100 less! Whether you're new or not, that is appalling, and I really wouldn't blame anyone for experiencing that and thinking, "you know what? Screw this!" and moving on.
I wouldn't blame any store owner, whether they're new to this; clip-making veterans; treating it as a full-time gig or a little side earner, to have experienced some of the shitty things that have been going on lately, and decide to leave C4S. It's so important to know when you're getting paid, and knowing that you can trust to receive the amount you've worked for, whether that's full-time, or sparingly, or whatever.
What has been going on with our pay lately makes it look like C4S is not a professional site which treats its international store owners decently.

Those "normal" easy to film fetishes are the worst-selling ones out there. There are other fetishes you could try which sell better, trial and error, but perhaps at least doing cam part time and clips while you establish your store would be a better idea.

That's why i get back to camming, there are some boundaries that i can't cross in making clips, i just wanna live according to my feelings, mind etc. I do also some clips with nylons, highheels, with a little teasing, some lipstick fetishes...but nothing like peeing, or something like that.
I wanna do things that i feel ok with. When camming i don't mind so much with getting naked, becouse i offer clients more teasing, dirty talk and some strip, nothing hardcore :P So i get naked but u know in a very soft way. And at least i see the money, in that moment. When i heard first about c4s, i thought wow, i can quit camming, no more stripping, i gonna do something normal like brushing my teeth and gotta paid for it ? Genious. And everybody is telling me how easy u can make money there, not putting that much effort...and yes, maybe it's easy when u record farts, toilet visits etc ( don't get me wrong i am almost admire girls that make money from it, and i am happy, good for them ) but it's something that i just can't do.

You don't have to do those kinds of videos to make money. You don't even need to get naked. You can do things like hypnosis, asmr, assignments/tasks,etc.
I don't do any kind of bathroom content though I am a domme. A lot of my best selling videos are instructional. Cbt, joi, cei, etc. I don't get naked for my videos. Sometimes I wear jeans and a cute top and those videos sell really well.
If you're making videos in categories that don't sell well you're just wasting your time when you could be looking at other categories to see what would suit you and sell better.
Those videos of teeth brushing and nail tapping are essentially filler videos, videos to keep you popping up on the site, but they will never be really big sellers. Sneezing and coughing/noseblowing will make you a pretty penny once or twice but if you upload that a few times a week? Nah, man you're not gonna make enough not to have to work doing other stuff.
Gotta expand.. Adapt!

I got really sick a couple years ago and made a sneezing/noseblowing video, made $50 just in the first couple hours it was up.

Totally agree with justsomewhat - Try different categories. An hour on Editing 1 x clip ???? You need to look at your process and cut it down. My best selling clip was in body transfer, I barely show nudity too. Try role playing , making up stories and outing them out. You have to do stuff that isn't already done over and over.
Then again... It just not might be your thing, Maybe it's time to look at other ways to make money, there are so many different options.
I'm not sure I would call it passive income when some of us do spend up to 4 hours a day , filming, editing, uploading, promoting, etc... But yes you sure as hell treat it like a business like sinna mentioned. I've been building my brand for nearly 12 months and it's finally paying off for me.
Regarding International payment. I only got paid last week for June in Australia. I'm not expecting July's until Sept. The new bank is fucked up. I also lost out over $80 USD in Fees... Which is stupid. (yes I emailed Gia about it) I'm not really happy about the whole thing at the moment. Wish I could get a US bank account but it's impossible.

I got my cheque yesterday and it should clear today :)
For non-nude clips, you can also explore categories that relate to things you wear or a part of your body. You can do a simple show and chat about the items, masturbation encouragement, bring in a domination angle or make up a role play. Also, think about anything about you that is unique/less common that you can make something of...your age, your accent, a body part.
It is passive income but it does still take time. I may take 5 minutes to film a clip but I have to set up first, think about the clip so I have some idea of what I'm doing and maybe write a script, be in the zone, then edit, upload and write the title/description, which all takes much longer. I can spend a long time editing a clip too...some have different locations or angles and sometimes I need to cut bits out when I trip over my words. I find the editing etc incredibly wearing to do each day...this is not an easy job.

Just to clarify my comment about clips being passive income.....I simply meant that it's a way to make money ALL THE TIME. Our clips just sit there in our store and can be purchased at any time. Even if we aren't updating. I had a month, a couple of years ago, I did ONE update all month and I still made 2K that month! I didn't put any effort in (that month), it was all sales from old clips.
And YES, shooting clips is easy. You set up your lights, your tripod, hit record and you're good to go. It's not rocket science. You don't need a degree to shoot clips. Sure, a little trial and error is involved in setting up the lights so they are flattering, but that's easy enough to do.
And of course it's time involved. Thinking up the ideas, getting ready to shoot clips (hair/makeup/props/whatever), uploading, editing, yadda, yadda. But I would rather do THIS and be my own boss ANY day than going to work some shitty 9-5 job and work for someone else. I guess it's all relative.

I'm one of those who mainly go on Clips4Sale over camming as of July this year. I am on the 4th year of Clips4Sale and it's finally paying off. So far, It's been a rollercoaster to say the least. It takes a lot of effort on ones part to really get Clips4Sale going. It's not a ton of money either, but it can pay your bills. I would much rather do this than work for a shitty min. wage job.
Anyways, onto the subject of payments. What's going on? Are they stiffing some models?

Thank u so much girls for manyadvices, and your thoughts :) I appreciate every of them :) One more thing that i have on my mind...long time ago i read somewhere that making money on a fetish that u have by yourself is a very good way to work, becouse u know what turns u on, and it's easier to find someone that like it too, in some way u feel als normal doing this becouse its natural for u. I have my thing, but i never call it fetish, i just love ASMR, wtching ASMR clips on yt is my addiction, but i never call it fetish it's just something normal for me what helps me relax at the evenings :) For quite some time i thinked about making asmr clips for c4s, but seeing so many clips on youtube, i can't believe that someone would buy it, having so many thing for free, also i feel that making these kind of clips, put me in a position where i can easily be put on youtube by some guy, since it's quite popular in some way on yt. Does someone have some experience with making ASMR clips ?

I absolutely disagree that you need to be into it. I find in many cases harmful for the quality.
just treat it like its your job, done. Prepare yourself by educating yourself about the fetish you are going to film. I warmup even my voice before filming. i have a prep like I'm an actor.

I think there is no set "one size fits all" formula for success on C4S around the diversity of tastes, fetishes of the clients, and diversity of type in store owners. It really seems a matter of what you try, test and explore yourself, personally, first-hand, with your own personal touches, and to keep consistency in uploads. Aside from that I don't think anyone can properly, truly tell another performer what will work for him or her, or won't. It's a very exciting type of work for that very reason; that you can explore through so, so many categories this way, and find ways to make money in sometimes in such unusual niches, and in ways you probably never even dreamed, gives you so much to get your teeth into. It's definitely a type of work that flourishes if fetishes of all types are of general interest to you anyway.

While I don't really believe that most women have fetishes, I do agree that doing fetishes you ENJOY is a good way to work. Totally! Example: I love doing panty fetish clips and I really have fun with it and those clips ALWAYS sell like hot cakes for me. And I think it's because guys can tell that it's not all an act, that I really actually enjoy what I'm doing. There is just a kind of passion behind filming that isn't there if your not really enjoy what your doing. So yes, agreed! :-)

SO. MUCH. THIS. I have a few fetishes that genuinely turn me on...but none of them sell for me. Fuuuuuuck. So I tried a few times with those, and I do occasionally still make content for them just because I like it and it is fun and arousing to film, but if I relied on only things that make me wet, I'd starve. Instead, I mainly film stuff I like doing. I think Tea4Me is 100% correct that guys can tell when you enjoy filming vs when you are doing it because it makes money and you couldn't care less about it. I get really into some of my videos because the fetishes themselves fascinate me. For example I do some medical roleplay stuff where I get to totally geek out with my anatomical knowledge and guys LOVE IT. I love it because I get to dress up as a doctor and nerd out. They are currently selling really well for me, and I keep coming up with new spins and new fetishes to cross with medical (CBT, vore, giantess, mask, gloves, odd insertions, omg the list goes on, I have a baller sneeze idea to film next week). Sometimes I just scroll through the huge list and click on random categories and check out what girls are doing in different topics.
Clips are a LOT of work. Sure, once you have a few thousand and can re-promote old clips every day, maybe it becomes passive. What it REALLY is, though, is time-independent income, where you do not need to be physically present at the time to earn the money, as opposed to real set-it-and-forget-it passive income, because you still have to continue making new content.

WTF "the banks move at their own time"? Clearly this bank switch is NOT working if their bank is unable to process payments in a timely fashion. I'm not one of the people waiting for payment, but if I was, holy fuck. That answer is COMPLETELY unacceptable. They SWITCHED BANKS ffs, if their new bank isn't up to the job WHY DID THEY SWITCH? They need to get that bank in line YESTERDAY or switch back to their old bank. Total crap. I bet anything they switched to get lower fees and such, and got lower service into the mix. Fucking unacceptable.

It's interesting.. I am with someone now who isn't comfortable with me doing sexual things on video (showing nudity, talking sexually, etc), I'm completely fine and understanding about that, but it's meaning that the nature of my clips has obviously completely changed from what I was doing before. I'm really enjoying finding ways of tapping into different niches I never gave a second thought to before. Clips that aren't typically "sexual" in nature can still be amazing earners; not all of what can be deemed as "filler"-type clips are bad earners. In my experience, it just requires a different type of thinking than typically sexual clips, and can be more fun to film too. If you're someone who isn't finding much luck in the clips you're doing, it is so, so worth branching out and exploring. There really is something out there for absolutely everyone.

Since we can't take custom payments through C4S, this info may be useful. The drawback though is that you need to have made the clip first but they can pay upfront by way of a tip:
I use this site for sending exclusive custom clip files and they are now offering a payment option https://www.projectmaenad.com/faq
You'll earn 70% of whatever you choose to charge for your content, and we'll cover any chargebacks or credit card fraud.
In addition to buying your content, your customers can send you tips through Project Maenad. (Check out the new "Give a Tip" button on your profile!)
We pay out your earnings twice per month — on the 8th and the 23rd.
You'll need to meet the minimum payout in order to be paid for the current 2-week period ($50 for check or ACH, $100 for wire). If you don't meet the minimum payout, your earnings will be rolled forward to the next payment period. ACH and mailed checks are free, but there's a $30 fee for international wires. ($30 is what our bank charges us, and we think it's much too high. We're looking at alternatives for international transfers, and hope to have a better alternative soon.)
