1. When I try to upload a AVI video it says it's already been used because I've uploaded another avi video...huh?
2. Whenever I try to upload a GIF it just says length not recognized. I've uploaded the GIFs elsewhere so there isn't anything wrong with them.

I am getting quite a few chargebacks lately, it is really starting to piss me off. I know that there is nothing we can do about them, but I am starting to see a pattern with my chargebacks. It is always some random clips or latest clips, like they just picked every clip from page 1, so I am wondering is this because they are going to be sold somewhere else? What is your experience with chargebacks are you getting them every month? How do you deal with them? It is really frustrating because not only you have to worry about sales, you end up doing stuff for free, AND spend time you should for making clips, to cruise through web searching for your clips…I just admire you guys for doing this for long time, I am seriously running out of steam…

I know that if you have ~200 stolen videos you can earrn ~$600/month on tubes and shared hostings vip accounts.
We need to ask C4S to blacklist russian credit/debit cards.

Doll fetish uses toy dolls...but you're not supposed to be naked with a doll or do anything sexual with one but you can use dolls that look over 18 for that. Real doll is people pretending to be dolls...so real live dolls.

Sometimes they use stolen CC from different countries, including USA :(

No problem to use non-russian emitted cards(Payoneer f.e.) if Russian cards will be blocked. So it will bring problems only for normal Russian customers.

What is your experience with chargebacks are you getting them every month? How do you deal with them?
I rarely have them. It is SUPER frustrating for me when I do get them though. My last 1 was an error I made so it was understandable.I don't get them monthly. Monthly seems really often to me especially since they have the message specifically about refunds for clips like wtf. Did you get an email sent to you about them including the reason for the chargeback? When I got my last 1 I got an email because it was due to an actual error with my clip.

Did you check the name of the actual AVI file?the name of the title of the clip? Is it giving you that red text error at the top of the page? Sometimes I upload things and forget they actually got uploaded and dont realize..you are sure it didn't upload already? That's so weird
2. What size is your GIF? What are the dimensions and the overall MB size? I noticed they seem to be allowing larger GIFs now in widescreen size
I began since 3 months and upload every other day, I made around $200 per month. I started to upload once per day this december, let's see how it turns at the 31st.
Yeah I think this is a pretty good average new stores can aim for. If you upload once a day you can expect around 200 mark and it increases the more you upload.

Log into your c4s admin and go to: https://admin.clips4sale.com/home/bannerinfo (or click the BANNERS SCHEDULE icon from the "home" menu). Check the links scheduled /last displayed/history. If there is a countdown timer anywhere, your banner is in rotation. If all tabs are empty, your banner is not in the rotation.

All chargebcks i had were only from americans. i have some ppl buying all the time. they are fine.

The last two weeks of November were definitely different for me than usual and different from the beginning of the month, and I think that was from the time of the new layout when selecting a clip.
I also had lower sales November 16-30 compared to the start of november. Interesting.

Yes, every time I got an email from C4S stating it is about credit card being stolen or misused (always a US CC). It is really strange, because I get this now third month in a row, somebody purchasing 5 clips once a month on a weekend and on Monday there is a chargeback. It is so annoying because now when I get multiple order I wonder if that is going to be another chargeback…I am also wondering how do you search for your content? Besides google it of course, can somebody when they have the energy and time maybe PM me some sites that I can search for stolen content? I would really appreciate it, thank you very much.

I had similar situation for November. First 10 days were great, after that there were days in between without a sale or barely one sale.

Honestly, you'll figure it out on your own. And yes, I agree with SexySusie and READ this thread....this question has been answered many times before.
There is no magic formula with Clips4Sale, it's a business like any other. I think some people think it's easy money and it is in some ways and it isn't in others. One person can upload X times a month and make $2000 and another person can upload XX times a month and make $750. There are a lot of factors that go into it....do you have a following, the fetishes you do, how original your clips are, etc, etc. If you think you have to upload a certain amount of times and you do that, and yet you don't see the money you were hoping to, you'll get burnt out. Have a plan. You can *always* update more often. Don't just crank out clips for the sake of getting X updates done. It seems to me the things that sell the best (which means....less effort on your part), are original takes on fetishes. Too many people are carbon copies of others. It's like they just did a slightly modified version of someone else's top selling clip. Try and have/create your own style.
Remember, one person can tell you to upload X many times a month and that is what works for THEM. That doesn't guarantee you'll make what they do. Set a goal for yourself, hit it and see what happens that month. See what sells well for you and what doesn't and then maybe increase your updates like that. It's all an ongoing experiment.

My experience is that it really does not matter that much how many uploads you do, but solely the quality of clips. The best advice I got when I started was, to focus on one fetish. When I started I was all over the place, making clips in various fetishes but nothing worked. I realized that if you only post one or two clips in particular fetish and then move to another, you do not give people a chance to get to know who you are and what you are really about, so I would advise you to pick one that you really see yourself enjoying and sticking with. Then do research, what is about this fetish that makes people like it, what are the triggers, read forums, starting with this one of course, start making clips and just go with the flow. Good luck!

If I'm not mistaken once you've activated a video it will not show up again in its category because it already appeared there. This happens if you accidentally activate it on the wrong day and try to future activate it. As I've read you can't even delete and reupload it unless you convert it to another video type or edit a few seconds from it.
I'd convert it to another desireable format and include a link to the first version in the description. For instance of its originally a wmv file is convert to an mp4 and add the link to the wmv in the description.

I simply make more clips in those categories and the older ones may well sell again too. I find the current set up of our stores makes it more difficult for customers to see other clips in the same category than it used to but some have it figured out. The same clip file won't show twice in the categories.

Is there any way to add images to your profile, now that the uploader tool is not working? It used to have a space to add images for use on your profile (not to sell), and now there is not one.

I wish there was a way to see if you're in any top 50 categories rather than visiting them one at a time. If it notified you that would be pretty cool, especially if it told you how many clips were top 50 as well.

go in the list clips section, add them to the feature list rotation on your main page. when u upload new they will see them on top in rotation

So there is this youtube channel that uploads my video, I report it, they take it down and then the uploader sends a counter-notification. Now youtube wants me to send them proof that I'm starting a lawsuit against the person, which is insane.
He has lots of fetish videos, so please check if there are some of yours and report him. If more people report him he'll get his account shut.

Probably would cost you $100-200 depending on how much of their you take, but probably more. I guess it depends on how much use it is to you to get them removed.

Is there any way to add images to your profile, now that the uploader tool is not working? It used to have a space to add images for use on your profile (not to sell), and now there is not one.
Yes, you can log in with FTP (like filezilla, which is free) put ftp3.clips4sale.com as the host. Logon type: normal. You don't need to fill in the port. Put in your username and password that you use to log in to c4s and then connect.
Now from the list of folders, choose the "images" folder. There are several other folders, but you need the "images" one. Double click it to open. Now search for the location of your picture on the left and just drag the picture from the left (your computer) to the right. It should start uploading.
On your profile page, use the same link that you used for other pictures, just change the file name. Wait a few minutes for the server to update and refresh. Your picture should be there. For compatibility, I would delete spaces in the pictures file name and replace them with underscores _. That helped a lot for me with recent picture uploading issues.

I was just browsing through my clips and notice some of them not being active, like they have been deactivated, while they should be active. I wrote to support and they wrote me back that the files have been detected as corrupt. I got no email from C4S about this prior to me sending request. These clips were selling and are not new clips, so I know at first they were fine, I am still waiting for answer regarding how did they determine that, but does anyone else have this issue?

WTF? and same! I just went to my store and at the top where it shows the number of clips---it's 3 less than it should be. I've just started scrolling through the pages and found one now. $%@$##%!!! I do not have time for this shit today! Thanks for the heads up though!

I got an answer, that all the clips that are marked as N, I should re-upload and activate again to be visible in the store. I am more worried about the fact that they told me that this files were corrupted during the upload process, but this are not new clips and were sold multiple times, I just don't believe that so many people would buy a broken clip and not one would wrote C4S about it? And this is not just one clip I got 4 like this. And how do I know that other clips in store are ok, if it took 2 month for these clips to be marked as corrupt if in fact they were bad clips from the beginning? Not a happy camper right now…

If they are going through them starting with the most recent and going back later, than perhaps we will get notified about more later on? (Just wondering out loud...)

Thank you! C4S actually checked one of my clips that was not active and exactly that, there were few glitches…so maybe it is not that bad and nobody wanted to be bothered with it…hopefully. And just last week I was cruising through C4S checking top 50 clips in different niches and some of them were really high up, but could not be found/bought, and I was thinking that is strange, why would you have number one clip and remove it while it is still selling…but maybe the scan happened and found glitches, I don’t know. If this is going to be on a regular bases, that they will check our files, I believe this could be really good, so we will know and re-upload clips before the 10th unhappy costumer complains about it or something, I am just not a fan of how we will find out about these corrupt clips, scrolling through pages of clips looking for big N.…maybe they will let us know later on, we’ll see.

Sorry I just woke up, if you click list clips, in the first column in the search area it says "status", if you click the drop down box it has a 3 option choice. By default it is ALL but you can sort by active or inactive as well.

I am a little shocked that I read about so many of you now having "discovered" the same issue I asked about here almost 3 months ago:
Anyone using the new uploader / add delete files / gizmo uploader and getting complaints from customers about glitches in the (mp4) clips where there is a short black screen and after that the sound and picture are out of sync for the rest of the clip?
I just cautiously asked back then, but no one had any issues.
One of my customers had repeatedly bought files with glitches which were working on my computer. It was odd to me that no other customers contacted me - despite the clips selling many times. I wrote emails to all customers to contact me asap, I prepared unglitched files on my website to handle the complaints - but none came.
It was surprising to me that no one else would care about the glitches, so I asked you if you had similar experiences. When no one had any issues, I thought it was an isolated issue.
Reporting to c4s only got me the standard email about file naming, which I answered with the usual - I have 6000 clips, I know by now how to name the files and upload them correctly. Nothing more happened and the customer reported glitches again. I was worried. Really worried that all my files would be corrupt.
So I wrote to Neil directly, asking how the uploader destroying files would not be the TOP TOP TOP priority to repair right now. They were surprised, because they had not heard of the issue from anyone else, but acted right away. He appointed programmers to look into it. No one could believe that the uploader was actually destroying my files (Neil took it very seriously right away though) - but my files were all good on my harddrive and all replacements I sent were perfect.
I was a kind of test dummy for the new ftp uploaders and everything seemed to work - until there were glitches again.
Then I saw they recently deactivated the new uploader on the admin. I was wondering if it was a result of what the programmers found out.
I am really surprised that no one else reported the issues I had already mentioned 3 months ago, but on the other hand, I also just got lucky that 1 customer told me about the glitches. Otherwise I'd still be in the dark about it (and c4s probably as well). No other customer ever contacted me to report the issues. I sometimes wonder if they even watch the clips?
I told Neil that I am afraid those other customers just accepted it as a faulty clip, didn't care to tell me or c4s and moved on to another store or even clipsite. He agreed and was hurrying to get it looked into. I never heard back from the programmers tho. I sent them some diagnostic stuff they asked for, then they gave me different ftp servers to test.
So I think that got the issue rolling.. but I am really surprised to read about others now, 3 months after I asked about it. My guess is that they developed a program, based on the diagnotics I sent and they computed, to find all corrupted clips site wide. Of course it would then be a priority to get them deactivated so no new customers could buy them.
I am actually glad about this, because now (I hope) I can assume that all clips in my store actually work without glitches.
Still thankful to only that 1 customer who told me, on 3 different purchases, with exact time stamps to look up, that my files had glitches. More than 100 other customers who MUST have bought a glitched file as well, did not say a word. Although I repeatedly sent emails, admitting my files had glitches (bad for business but I just want them to have working files) and to contact me asap so I can send replacements.
Anyhow, now it seems to be out in the open. And fixed.

Have you tried to reupload any of the clips? I tried last night and I kept getting error messages and I had to contact support. They put in a ticket with the programmers and I'm waiting for a status update on that. So not only are the clips deactivated, but now I can't fix it either. Yet. :P
