That's my particular bug bear too SFHS. I think people have been requested categories without looking to see what is already there and Studio Support have just been adding them without thinking too. Then we get criticised for uploading too many clip versions when they have a ridiculous number of categories for the same fetish.

I just have that feeling that this month will be terrible for me...it's 3rd and i earned 13$, after uploading from day one, in my best categories, which always brings me a lot of traffic and sales. And now my sales are poor, and my hits are lower than ever :/ Anybody with the same feelings ? :P

Nope. Push through it. There are 27 days left and anything can happen. One great sales day can pick up the slack of several bad sales days and then it all evens out at the end of the month. Just brush it off, keep at it and see what the rest of the month brings. :-)

As someone who's *very midly* into the whole throwing up kink I'd say the appeal is more of an extension of the whole gagging thing- so like gagging on something and then throwing up. So I'd assume most of the content going into the category will be that sort of stuff, although I'm sure there will just be plain ol' vomiting too haha

It's probably not something I'd do for a video but I can totally understand others not viewing it as a problem

Yeah. Now if doing a bj video and you happen to eat too recently and overdo it, it no longer goes to waste or has to be cut

Girls i will definitely still work…since i don’t have nothing better to do haha :P But still…i have this weird feeling that this low sales, may have something to do with last problems with c4s. I just think they was messing things up, for a long time…trying to make everything better when all that they do was making things worse :/

Yeah, sales have been slow the past few days and yeah, it sucks. In the past I would get frustrated and blow off doing updates, thinking "what's the point?". But something I've learned from going over my past sales calendars is that the majority of the time, things *did* pick up. And I could have made MORE on those days if I would have updated. So, one of my goals for 2017 is to post a certain amount of updates every month regardless if sales are up or down. And so far I've done that. Even if it's slow now, I'm still adding more content to my store that can be purchased next month or next year. Anyway, that's the way I'm trying to think about it. Because if I focus too much on slow sales, it just is self-sabotage for my monthly goals and I know from past experience, I wished that I would have stuck with regular updates.

very true, I'm about 2 weeks ahead of my uploads now so I'm gonna be sure to stay atleast that far ahead :)

Some of them I find good, others I will just take as a lesson learned lol (and actually, an old clip mysteriously sold yesterday, even though I gave up that category) I can see how the good ones could be presented a lot better. Like, I used to be more secretive about sexy/kinky surprises - now I state them out in the description. Some gifs/thumbnails could be better too. So do you think it's wrong, or is it against some rule, to delete old UNSOLD content and re-upload with a new description and gif? I guess I can make new descriptions/gifs for them in the store, but probably wont get to it as they wont get new attention anyway pages back.

I signed up for IndieBill but am confused how to use it for customs. There are "products" to choose, premade for different options. One is tributes. I asked if I could use tributes for customs and got the answer they are adding escrow in 3 months. Customers really don't seem to doubt I will make the customs though so I don't care about that. So I know many of you use IndieBill to take payment for customs, but how? I don't want to sell the clip itself there, bc that 85% keeping is probably not worth better placement at C4S.

Yes, you can do that. I've done that with old clips from a previous clips store I had. The only thing is they won't show up as NEW clips. (I found that out the hard way, before I knew about that. If it doesn't show up as a new clip it's not worth the effort. Some I feel just should have been posted in other categories so no point deleting and re-uploading if it doesn't get new attention anyway. And almost easier to film a new and better clip than re-edit lol.
I've started linking now that I make more similar clips - at first I tried all kinds of things lol. But now I found some niches that work for me and I could link even more, so thanks for the reminder!

I'm not sure what "first choice" is but I just got my C4S direct deposit into my checking acct. Now time to do my taxes.

The first few days of this month have been pretty phenomenal but I've also been putting in the work. I'm trying new fetishes/roleplay scenarios (that I've been interested in for a while) and stepping out of my comfort zone. I've gotten great feedback and it's paying off which feels good. I've also gone back through my inbox and answered each and every email that fans have written me. Or double checked on the status of custom clip inquiries.

I read an awesome quote today and it inspired me... "If you want the things you've never had, you gotta DO the things you've never done." And, obviously, as long as it aligns with your beliefs or what you want to explore.

payoneer payments take 3-4 hours to be depostied on account
they send payneer payments manually, i assume :(

I just got my payment by wire. Last month it was 6th, and on february i've got it on 9th...so...the timing is different everytime for me ;)

me too. I also accept payments via Bitcoins but it fluctuates a lot so it's risky. But when it goes up it's awesome. If it drops I hold.

I used to use paypal a couple years ago and then they caught on. They froze my account. A few months later I received my money back although it wasn't much since I mostly cashed out on the big payments.

They dont just transfer money. They also provide you with chargeback protection and hosting for your clips. If you want to sell a custom clip through Indiebill just create a product page for the amount of the tribute. If you don't want a to maintain a website you can have a payment page used to showcase your services and products https://www.getindiebill.com/store/list/IndieBill_Demo

I know indiebill offer many services, but a payment processor is all *I* need, and 15% is a lot for that. Chargebacks will statistically never come up anywhere near that. I sell all clips including customs on C4S (for now at least) so I don't need showcase or hosting. I thought I could make a page similar to what Sophia Sylvan has on livecammodels (thanks for showing us that, looks great. I will get one too.) and was surprised they seemed unaware people use it for payment only. I created a page where the customer can select various amounts. That had a good "side effect" that some have chosen a higher amount as a tip :) Choosing and paying for a specific product it is less likely they go back and tribute.

My regular said today indiebill didn't work for his card so gave him giftrocket as a choice. It just has so bad reviews and some customers might be put off by cute cards etc, plus the fact they will be charged monthly if I don't redeem the card in a year. Fees are higher than paypal but I don't want to use something "illegal". You that use giftrocket, do you let the customer pay the fee? I calculated it and told him to deduct it when selecting the amount. I don't want my payment options to give significant extra charge for them.

Really? I receive giftrockets all the time (but for Findom, not payment for customs) and never had a problem with them. I always claim them within a day or so of receiving them....I mean, who would sit on one for a year? lol With giftrockets, you get 100% of the money. Where as with C4S, NF, IWC, etc. you only get to keep a percentage. Just tell guys to NOT leave a note/message that it's a payment for something. Giftrocket states that they are only to be used as 'gifts' and not as payments.

I feel bad about the fee but they pay it and until now nobody has complained. I withdraw right away. Not sure why someone would wait a couple months let alone a year to redeem but maybe there's a reason. Actually, I wasn't aware that they get charged monthly if the gift rocket is not redeemed. That's sucky.

Is anyone else really struggling with sales this month? I've had no sales on c4s and only one on MV, I'm not really sure why my stuff isn't selling

I'm doing slightly below average on C4S so far this month (One really good day will get me back to normal) and I just started on MV late last month and I'm doing pretty good on it so far (way better than Kinkbomb which I only do about $100 a year off of).

I've e-mailed support 3 or 4 times now about my studio not being listed in the studio list. They have yet to answer me. I used to be able to search my studio name and it would come up, but the last times I tried, for two weeks or so, it hasn't come up. That means that if a returning customer doesn't have my store number, they won't find me in list of studios! They can do a regular search, but that result is messy. I do add my store number in my clips, but they might not notice, or haven't bought a clip yet. So check!

What's up with support anyway? More often than not, I am asked to provide additional info that is either irrelevant or that is already added. It's like they haven't even read my question. And sometimes I don't get a reply at all. I just noticed the ticket support page - do you guys use that form or e-mail? I have just emailed support which seemed to work fine in January but then I started to not get replies.

Got an answer now from support that the search works if only the first word of the title is typed, so I can tell the customers that "solution". Obviously, if a customer contacts me (which has happened now in this issue - they have my studio name but can't find my store!) they get my direct link in my reply. Problem is they might have been to my page once and want to return remembering my name but not knowing my e-mail.
I insisted I want to be in the list to start with as well, and was told the list is not in alphabetical order and my studio is down the list. I know the order appears alphabetical but is not, bc I have read the entire list about 10 times before. _Now_ my studio IS there, way down the list. Why not just say, "we added it" (though I talked to two diff people just today about it, so the other prob added it) The list goes something like - my letter is D - DA to DY and then starts over again with studios DA to DY. So if you are looking for a studio name starting with DA (my studio), obviously you stop looking when you see a bunch of DA studios and then the list moves on to DB, DE and so on. If it's not alphabetical, then just scramble all of them up.
I was also told they can do a regular search and look under studio names. _I_ know that, but the search result focuses on titles, studio names are easily overlooked at the bottom of the page.

So, even if everything is "ok" according to C4S, obviously something is too messy if a customer can't find me despite having my store name! This is ONE guy that actually had my e-mail. But that tells me it happens to others that don't contact me. I am too new to have super regulars that bookmark me.

Aaargh yes! I try to have a cheerful tone (here and towards support) but that's hard to keep when I today repeatedly get asked to provide the sale order number, when my question was about a link not working in a description. The clip hasn't even sold yet so there is not even an SO to give. (found the problem myself, the html code for some reason didn't copy-paste correctly so changed it manually.) The same staff member also insisted the clip ID number is "long, with three periods and a hyphen". There might be such a number but I have always provided the ID number shown in the store admin clip list.

I made several videos this month that I am so surprised not have sold. Those categories and similar clips were my bestsellers a month ago, I even got fan letters about them. I got 2 or 3 orders with multiple clips last week, otherwise I would be way back compared to March. Those were surprisingly from a category I just post in sporadically, hardly have anything there, and now I am in top 5 of that cat, and out of lists I ranked high in a few weeks ago lol. I don't have many months to compare of course, but it really is hard to predict.

Do any of you notice optimal traffic days on a consistent basis? For instance, my lowest traffic days thus far seem to consistently occur in Monday's and Tuesday's, with Thursday's through Sunday's always higher.

I recommended pricing your customs in a way that accounts for your payment processor fees.

As for Indiebill, you can use either the tribute feature or set up a product with a still image/gif for your customer to purchase. I give my customers an option between paying through either of my skype payment processors, indiebill or occasionally giftcards (if I'm working on a project or need an outfit)

That kept happening a while back, really frustrating, have you emailed support? You can change the category image using the rollover pic maker in you clip list.

I'm looking into setting up a C4S studio. Can someone clarify what BBW is? I'm not huge, a UK Size 14, in proportion but certainly not toned so am 'soft' and 'thick' I guess. I don't want to put things in the BBW section and people be disappointed that Im not big enough if that makes sense.

I am in a European country so I declare taxes on everything that comes into my bank account. I pay taxes monthly, in advance, and recommend everyone that does to try to calculate that correctly to avoid unpleasant surprises.
I took gift cards for customs in the beginning but haven't found a good one. Amazon us and uk doesn't have much that ship to my country, and anything outside Europe gets a lot of customs and shipping costs added. I buy most things in local second hand or from aliexpress lol, and I am picky with skincare/makeup, buying only from very specific places.

I tried Giftrocket now with my only regular and it worked well - it's just that outside US I have to use paypal to get the money so it's too risky in the long run. Giftrocket also states it's forbidden to use it in exchange for products/services and I'd like to be on the right side. They are known to flag for the slightest thing, and also money looks like it gets through even when the guy has insufficient funds - you just won't know about it until you probably already made the custom. So indiebill still seems like the best payment option for me, just would like to have a payment option that doesn't swallow 15%... I could add that to the custom price yes, but I don't think it's fair the customer pays for the payment option that _I_ choose. It's not like we ask them to pay 25% extra on C4S.
