Yeah :/ I'm pretty sure I put it all in right.
I have two things I think could be the issue but hopefully I get it by the end of the week.
I have bills to pay.
Ya, my direct deposit (in the U.S.) was screwed up for the first two months but eventually it was figured out. Just contact support, my person was Gia at the time but this was years ago, and I imagine they will fix it. It happened to a friend of mine too.

KittyLovelicks,
You might need to find an outsider marketer to help promote your clips? Many adult marketers would be happy to advertise your store or studio on their blogs and websites for a small fee. You would also drop Yezzclips, Yooclips, ClipFoo, and Customs4u because you need to have a huge following to make those places work properly. ELM is only great for cheap customs or skype shows only. You could focus on Clips4sale, Manyvids, and indie bill. Maybe you focus on your biggest money makers and make more clips catering to that niche :)
For the month of April, I had 1 sale. This month so far, nothing. I can only conclude, after following all the suggestions here, that a) my store isn't getting enough traffic and b) no one wants to buy my clips. In 5 months of having my store, I made $141. I have not bothered updating any clips there for the last 4 weeks, and now my account has been "restricted". At this point, I think I may just close my store again, the second attempt on this site and I failed again. ManyVids is the only clip site where I have consistent sales of maybe $50 a month. I have tried customs4u, no sales on there so far either.
When you try so hard and consistently fail it's a really big hit to the confidence. With Twitter cracking down on adult content it's made it even tougher to find sales from there. I've tried joining fetish specific forums, but that hasn't brought me any extra sales or new customers so far. I guess maybe I should just focus on the one site where I do get sales. I just don't know why every other clip site I try I can't find any customers that like BBW MILFS! Am I just too ugly?
Surely there has to be a niche market somewhere for BBW MILFs that do feet, glove, pee, and squirting fetishes?? Can anyone suggest some clips sites where those categories actually sell? I have tried ELM, Yezzclips, yooclips, iwantclips, customs4u, youkandy, SpicyFind, ClipFoo,and Roolons. Have not sold a single clip on any of those sites.I'm slowly uploading them all to indiebill as well. Any other clips sites I should be trying?

Hey Kitty,
I was browsing through your store and thought I would make some suggestions.
You promote yourself as "MILF" but I don't see any MILF role play type clips. I saw your "Naughty Boy Gets The Glove" and it was a good idea but your face is not showing. Also if you would of positioned the camera to where it looked as though you were stroking the POV with your gloves I believe it would of made a difference. The viewer would of felt as though he was the "Naughty Boy" getting stroked with his mommy's rubber gloves.
"Sweating My Ass Off" was a good idea but I clicked on the gif and there is no audio. Double check the video to make sure the audio is working. That could detract customers from wanting to purchase that clip. Or ask support to take a browse at that video to make sure audio is working properly.
In "My Growing Belly" does your face show at all in the video or is it just focused on your belly? I feel showing your face is also important. I've made chubby/bloated belly/getting fat clips in the past and I make sure to show my face and show myself "struggling" and making "struggling faces" as I try to button or zip up my pants...talking about how big I'm getting or my growing belly and how everything feels so tight, etc. The guys like to see the struggle as well (from my experience). Jump up and down, get on the bed and "try" to button up the pants. Do stuff like that. Also from watching the gif preview...I hear a ringing/static sound in the background? Is that the air conditioner? It might be a little distracting to the viewer.
Also...I was looking at BBW MILF Kitty Lovelicks Anal Masturbation. You are promoting "MILF" in the title but are you speaking as though you are "mommy" or a horny MILF? Maybe some mommy dirty talk as son watches would of been better for this video. Maybe dirty talking in a "mommy fantasy" is something you're not comfortable with but I just figured I'd make this suggestion.
In the BBW MILF Blowjob and Facial 2...another good idea but did you do any dirty talking as "mommy" or a "horny MILF craving cum all over her face"? Or was it just a straightforward blowjob with not much "dirty talk" if any. Can your video guest hold the camera while you're giving the blow job as "mommy" or a "MILF"? That would be great too. POV blowjobs on C4S sell really really well usually. Especially facials. AND you wear glasses so you can make a MILF/Mommy POV blowjob with a facial on your glasses as you do some role play dirty talking as "mommy encouraging her good boy to cum on your face and glasses". And put it under MILF category.
The "Oil Glove Hand Job Part 1" I believe would of done better if your video guest held the camera so the POV was getting a hand job with your rubber gloves. I don't mean you need to ALWAYS do these types of POVs but you can alternate. See if that helps with sales.
Also make sure you only make eye contact with the camera/viewer. When you look at yourself on the side it breaks the immersion of the fantasy.
I just wanted to give some suggestions. You seem to be working hard and I hope things can turn around for you. Sometimes all it takes are a few tweaks here and there and changing some camera angles. Also patience and awareness.
If you have any other questions you can message me.

Yes it can do, and you can extend that into glove fetish by wearing rubber gloves too. It's about what clothes you wear while doing house things as well.

I would like also to ask you what for a software is in your opinion best on the market (awesome if freeware) what can be good for making videos for c4s.. like cutting, joining parts together, watermark adding, voice adding .. doing smooth flips from one scene to another.. I am looking for something like this. Do you have any experiences what works best for c4s?

if you have old beaten/wornout shoes that would work much better than rubber gloves.
You need somewhat a good laptop/computer. I would not suggest to buy a laptop for video editing it will get old very soon.

Hello =)
If we told you "No, you can't make money with housewife stuff", would you not try? The only way to know is to execute. Forget about the top categories and just focus on which fetishes genuinely interest you and/or you are good at/comfortable with doing. The only way to know is to try.
Trust me, I did this same thing in the beginning before I started making videos. I pondered and questioned myself constantly instead of doing the actual work.
I believe you posted a similar question about a month ago. Have you made any clips yet to put in your C4S store? Yes there IS potential make $$, $$$, or someday even $$$$ but you need to make content. See what works for you and what doesn't.

And also....don't worry so much about fancy editing, joining all kinds of parts together, etc. Just pick an idea and make a one scene video. Don't over complicate things. Definitely watermark your stuff though.
I don't do much editing. To be honest I shoot a video and if I have two or three scenes (which isn't common) I just trim on quicktime, add them together and then convert on WonderShare. That's the extent of my editing skills at the moment lol. And I do pretty well on Clips4Sale financially. It's my only form of income and has been for the last three years. I am grateful for this but I have to be consistent, evolve and put in the work.

I found DaVinci Resolve and so far it seems to be the best. The free version has everything you need and more. Don't get the beta 14 because it isn't stable yet. There's all kinds of video tutorials on YouTube for it including a really great series that is essentially a course on all the features.

Support just responded with a correction saying it's 7 days, which still leaves all of our numbers out of order. " If there's bug, it will be fixed during next 48-72 hours."
Hello Felicia,
could it be that you sell different versions of the clip in different categories? I realized that once when I also thought my lower selling clips were ranked higher than clips that had sold more often in the past 7 days. Then I checked and saw that, yes, I did sell that other clip more often, but like 4 times in #pee and 3 times in #panty wetting, so the other clip, who had only sold 4 times in total but 4 times in #panty wetting, was correctly placed higher in #panty wetting.
Some other times the category lists would not refresh. You can open a support ticket and ask for a manual refresh of the category. They usually did that when I asked them to, but I only ask when I am sure that things are wrong.
Having said that, I have been having a strange feeling about some toplists myself. Like the same clips being in the top 5 for weeks, in the same order, but the rest of the list changing. Would be a huge coincidence if the first 5 were continuing selling as often as required to keep the same order across weeks and no other clip getting the sales to join the top 5. It's just unlikely, but maybe it happened.

But when people are on here complaining about sales and their solution is to not post more content for awhile then I have to do disagree with that approach. Doing nothing will get you nothing.
And yes, there are a lot of stores in the top 50 that do not post every day. That's because they built up a huge buyer base and have the luxury to not have to post every day. The people complaining about low sales can't do that if they want to be competitive and have the chance of ever making the top 50. I would love to get to the point where I don't have to post content as often as I do and not suffer lower sales. I'm not at that point yet so I'm not going to do that.
If your solution for getting more sales is to stop posting content for periods of time then good luck with that strategy. I hope it works out well for you.
Leaving the whole discussion around this issue for what it was, I do agree with this. I see both sides, adding less clips, especially after posting a very good bestseller, can have a negative effect on sales because it's pushing down the bestseller. Posting a very good 2 min clip after a 30min clip can also hurt sales, because most orders are spontaneous 1 clip orders and when someone put that 2 min clip in the cart, it's less likely they also scroll down to put the 30min clip in. The day before, they might have bought the 30min because it was on top, giving you a much higher sales margin than selling the 2min.
Like this, there are many pro's and con's to every style of updating: be it daily, several times a day or once a week.
But generally speaking, more updates = more traffic = more sales potential. That's a pretty solid equation. There might be outliers, but it holds to be true most of the time. That's the very base of things. Of course running an ad campaign and promoting heavily can bring you more sales on a day although you did not post an update that day. But that's another factor influencing the "more traffic" part of the equation. It's not changing the very base of things.
Especially during slow periods, it can be tough to get yourself to update. When I stare at $2 for the whole day, I am not directly in the mood to put another clip up. But to my experience, updates show their effect mostly on the next day and doing that update on a slow day can improve the next day more than not updating could.
You also prevent a negative spiral. Not updating on a slow day might lead to another slow day, decreasing motivation even more.
As several people have noted and I have experienced this myself a few times, not updating for a few days usually lets your traffic drop. I did an experiment on adult-income about that where I updated a store daily vs. I left it all alone for a whole month. A huge difference. Less traffic = less sales potential. Again, there can be outliers, like a huge order on a slow day out of the blue. But these are, in my opinion, outliers that occur very rarely.
Also note that Tara Tainton for example might get a large percentage of her traffic from being #1 and being clicked often. So her appearing in the "Recently updated studios" lists might only account for very little of her global traffic, meaning new updates are mainly needed to give people something new to buy, not to attract significant traffic to her store.

When people are arguing about update or not. Important to state how many vids you already have. If you have 50 vids and your store is less than 1 year old? Advice that person not to update is not good. But if your store is enough old you have been updating and have 500+ vids whole another story.

I think it's not so much the actual age or clip amount in the store, but the amount of traffic. An older store could mean more fans and regulars and higher base traffic, but if they don't update for a month, they are usually gone. No matter how old or how many clips. With very few exceptions, like cock ninja studios (not even that old or that many clips and sometimes don't update for a month and still top 50), but that is because they generate massive traffic from outside of c4s.

and now is the question of the century...where to get a traffic? Not all traffic is useful. For example. C4s does advertise on forums but I guess they dont care what forums. So they posted my update on one forum and video got sold anddddd was posted on exactly the same forum for free. niceeee. I got 10$ and spend 100$ worthy of my time removing that video which got sold only 2 times.

Yes, that's the money question :) They also advertised me on a forum I was already on, spamming a little and also using pictures that show my face. I had to sort that out with c4s. However, I don't want to say it's bad that they try to get traffic from multiple sources, because that is one of the key things they got: a lot of traffic. And you can argue that traffic buys your clips and whoever has your clip can post it on the internet, but well, it's a limited argument because it would be difficult to get super targeted traffic that only buys clips and never does anything "wrong". c4s has long banned users that abuse their site and as such has the best "thief-filter" of all sites I think, because their blacklist is the longest.
There is only so much you can do about piracy :/ I would still not try to reduce my traffic in hopes that it will contain less bad guys. That wouldn't work either.

Well I find that I get more targeted and loyal traffic from the updates in my main category, message boards and communities I am in and of course google traffic that finds me by looking for me. Less targeted from tube sites and tumblr, twitter and other social media.
I have not tried buying traffic yet. I have this thread open since a few weeks, because I wanted to try buying traffic as well:
https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?181545-Independent-Ladies-Paid-Advertisment&p=2451932
But I did not do it yet.
I have observed time and again that heavy promotion on all channels increased my traffic but didn't increase my sales, more the contrary. I am cautious with posting pics etc now.
Oh the newsletter is great obviously. That is very targeted, since it's going to people who already purchased from you. I have not found a way to make it really work though, except when I put like 10 clips on sale and then send a newsletter about it. That's usually good, but it's so inconvenient on c4s to do, especially if you have several versions of the same clip.

Hi Sinna,
In this case, no. We typically wait to release in an alternate format if a clip sells really well within the first day or two, since that can hurt it's chances of making the front page top 50 thanks to the split.
I did ask C4S to look in to it, since we had 3 of the top 4 clips and even between our own clips, the sales numbers didn't match the rankings, no matter what the timeframe was. It was eventually corrected, but left a really bitter taste in my mouth, given the timing of everything. There's usually a day or two where the rankings go out of whack, but this had been well over a week.

my traffic/hits to my store have been utterly awful the last two days and I really dont know why :/
like on the 11th 30 hits, on the 12th 40
the day before was over 100 which is higher than my usual average :/

I am noticing very weird rankings as well. I had a few clips on a list for ages, even though they hadn't sold for weeks, and other clips of mine in that category sold better but were lower in the list, or not on it at all. And the "most sold" list on my store page doesn't have my most sold clip in it? I was thinking it might be most sold over a certain period of time (anyone know?) but it doesn't add up either.
Lately there are so many bugs on the site I don't care to e-mail about most of it anymore. I asked why I am not receiving any sale notifications to my e-mail since two weeks and got the answer (after they asked for my store number as usual, even though it's already provided..jeez) and just got the answer MY e-mail is blocking them. My e-mail hasn't changed anything, and funny how their answers can come through then? So now I have to run a report every time to see what sold and there's nothing I can do.
I also got a check this month even though I put my payout higher than I made, because it's such a pain to cash checks where I live, I'd rather collect the sums.

And yeah, anyone else have problems with pre-viewing the different options for preview when adding a clip? It used to work fine but last two weeks I just get error message when I try. I don't like posting a clip and not knowing how the preview looks. (Yeah I can estimate it in my editing program but I'm a control freak, and I also want to be sure it actually works in my store) I can post it with the preview disabled and then add it with the preview maker, but that's time consuming and limited to the first 5 mins.

I'm number 3 in a category where I have posted just 4-5 clips ever and sold those 1-2 times...But that's because it's a category with low sales. It's nice though to see my name in the top even if there isn't any money in that category :D
yeah I guess it could be that it's a low sale category - but it's my main category and in the past I had to sell loads more than I am now just to break into the top 20? odd

Someone with the initials A S refunded $70 worth of content. I am absolutely livid. They were all cuckold videos as well.

About 80% all of the clips I get refunded or charge backed on are castration, ball abuse, and ballbusting clips. I think male humiliation clips have the highest rate of fraudulent sales on C4S based on my experience and what I've heard from others.

I only do humiliation videos and it wasn't until this year that I started getting refunds and chargebacks. I don't think I've ever had my penectomy videos refunded and definitely not my CBT ones, those just end up pirated a lot. I am actually making less money this year and less sales than I have in previous years but suddenly theres a ton of refunds and CBs.

It's been in the last year that I've been getting the refunds and chargebacks too in the categories I mentioned. Never had any problem before posting in those categories but now everytime I post a new clip in those categories I start getting refunds and chargebacks. I rarely shoot new content for those categories anymore because of it. I make more money in other categories and don't have to deal with the refunds.

Customer service told me there is a lot of fraud going on so most of the refunds are done as soon as the orders go through. They also deactivate the clips so they can't download them. I'm at $102 in refunds this month and $60 last month.

I am investigating something that seriously concerns me at the moment: Seemingly out of nowhere, my hits drop by 300 each day since 5 days. I update daily etc (just noticed I skipped the 14th.. maybe one reason). It's gone so far that I messaged support, but since they will probably just give me the basic "can happen" answer, I was wondering if anyone else has a traffic graph showing this across the past 5 days: \ (not exaggerating)

My traffic has been pretty normal up until yesterday and today where it's dropped between 35% to 40%

OMG YES. And today only two sales. I've been updating every day. Sometimes a couple times a day. And my store has made Top 50 the past few days. Very strange.
But I remember this happened once a few months ago where I went most of the day with literally only a few sales. I messages support and they gave me that answer "It can happen". And then things went back to normal within the day or so. I can't figure it out. Just have to keep on doing.
Mostly today I've seen a huge drop in traffic/sales.
**UPDATE** ----> I have been keeping an eye on my hits and in the past four hours I've only had 50 hits. Something's definitely off today. I usually average 1800 hits a day and right now I have 655. It's 430 pm.

14th I had my record amount of traffic - then it tailed off a bit - but yesterday it was very low (30 hits)

Well the feeling was right, I got this
"Hello Sinna,
I am glad to let you know that the programmers found the issue with traffic counter and it is being fixed now.
Luckily, the decrease in visitors never occurred, the customers were visiting the site as usual, however the counter didn't track all of them.
The fix should be live within the next 24 hours. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."
I did get normal sales, so that sounds logical to me.

It doesn't look like any of the videos that I tried to remove using the FTP worked. They are all still in the drop down list, even after I refresh the list. I deleted the videos yesterday and they are still there. These are videos that have never gone live, some are accidental uploads (wrong store), some where duplicates of videos, etc. They are all still there :(

07th May, 238 visitors, $79 earnings
18th May, 1450 visitors, $0 earnings
hudreds of visitors does not mean good sales

Omg, I was wondering too. I had decent sales, but traffic just dived to a record breaking low!

I was to the bank today, with the three C4S checks I have received so far. Guess what - my country has one of the most modern bank security systems in the world, and the banker called US check system "stone age" and just laughed when I said the checks were sent with ordinary mail. To process the checks, they have to send each check back to US again to be verified, and all costs that occur, I have to pay. There would be very little left, and in worst case, I end up paying more in fees than the payout! They advice to do wire transfer only, but the banker was chocked when I told him it costs 40 USD. "It shouldn't cost you ANYTHING."
I have asked C4S of course and awaiting reply. Worst case, they won't deal with it and I have checks worth over 2000USD that I can use for wiping my ass. Best case, I probably still have to pay to get the checks sent back for destruction.

When manyvids did checks I ended up paying $10 to cash it because it had to be sent back, verified, and converted to usd (which made it even less iirc). It was ridiculous.
I know I've read a ton of times that there's no real reason to charge what sites charge for wore transfer. Just another way to rip models off..
