The first time I had it sent to my bank, the second month the direct deposit didn't work so they had to send me a check, this is my third month being paid. I'd rather it go to my bank then on the payoneer card as there are fewer fees and its just easier/ more direct.
I don't know how to make payoneer deposit to my bank, it didn't give that option when I signed up so I thought US people had to use the card.
lol that wasnt directed to u that was my own question XD

What's up with C4S? I don't know if anyone else has been experiencing these issues but I have had videos not show up that I post, the wrong gifs showing up and pages taking a long time to load. Its been an ongoing issue for the last 2 weeks for me.

yes direct deposits make into my account the 6th. I got my money Friday and I bank with TD Bank
I'm confused, when do the ach direct deposits from C4S usually come through? There was a problem with mine last month so I don't know what to expect or when to question them about it.
It says payouts were sent on the 6th, so did the direct deposit studios get theirs in the bank yet? (Sorry if I'm incoherent this morning)

This is a video editing question. I'm beyond frustrated trying to film and edit clips on my 2009 iMac with my Logitech c920. I can't capture HD video in QuickTime, because apparently it encodes while recording, and I get choppy video. Is there something I CAN use to capture video in OSX? IMovie doesn't recognize the webcam, Final Cut Pro doesn't seem to either.
I've been capturing video in Windows by running Parallels on my Mac. Then it automatically converts the files to .mov when i move them to the Mac for some freaking reason. My computer is a bit outdated for this type of work, so I'll wait upwards of thirty minutes for a short clip to import into iMovie, only to spend another thirty minutes exporting it, and another thirty converting it to mp4 with Handbrake. So my clip store remains unopened.
There has got to be a better way. Any Mac girls that can help me out? I'm upgrading when I can afford to anyway, and I've considered sucking it up and going back to Windows. But I really really don't enjoy working on Windows, and I don't want a system that is going to make me continuously unhappy every day of dealing with it. PCs are great, I just know I won't be happy. Not that I am now. :/
Ideally I would like a way to capture video using the Logitech c920 on the Mac, though I will eventually be upgrading to a real video camera. I think once I do that, things will be much easier. . . Right?

i think u should get a windows laptop and use it just for clips. i know it may seem a bit over the top but im hoping to one day make my living off clips and very minimal camming if at all. im using a desktop now and i know i can make more fetishes by being more mobile. like right now i cant do dishwashing fetish unless i wanna get like a 5000 foot usb cord for my webcam but im pretty sure there other fetishes out there that i cannot do because i cannot be mobile enuf to do them. plus it will help me multitask more editing in free chat on cam sites and not taking up ram with uploading to the site on my desktop while i cam.

Thanks, I've considered it but can't afford any sort of upgrade right now, though a laptop is definitely in my technological future. I would love to find a way to do clips on my Mac for now so that I can afford to upgrade sooner, whatever I wind up buying. Gotta get me dat passive income. I blame Logitech for not supporting Macs! Jerks!

so by paralleling u mean u have a dual booter and u have to keep encoding the same file back and forth between mac and windows to edit ur clips so u can upload them ?

Parallels makes Windows run while I'm using OSX. The cam records in mp4 format, but for some reason when I copy the files to OSX it makes them .mov files, which I then have to convert. I hope that answers your wuestion. I must be doing something wrong along the way. If I could just find a software to capture video in OSX with the webcam, I would be in business.

I love that my BF has a laptop and I have my computer. I can move between rooms with his computer. Editing on my PC while filming with his laptop is a great time saver.
End threadjack
Does anyone think it's a must to film in a bunch of different places? I have 4 rooms to film in in my house (5 when I clean out my guest room) and I'm worried guys are going to get bored seeing my couch in every video.

Uhh... about the payments...
No, C4S doesn't have a Payoneer option.
My first cash out I used Wire Transfer and was slapped with fees by my bank. I know there's $20 from C4S but my bank was stupid. And they charge for direct deposit, so I get a paper check. I get it on the 6th or 7th of the month. Usually the 7th.
If you're outside the U.S. check is your best option. No ACH for "foreign" accounts and a wire transfer is $45 right away, before any bank fees. If you want to keep all/most of your money and you live overseas, check is the best option.
I hope that clears somethings up?

You can always download the operating system that you like on a PC, my parents love Mac so my nerd husband bought them cheap (compared to apple products) PCs and downloaded the operating system on them so they run\look like a mac
decent option if you're a bit strapped for cash but need a new computer, if you ever do clips seriously you will need a more efficient option than what you're doing now

Good advice for most probably, I'd add that unfortunately it changes from country to country so always be sure to check what are the rules in yours. In my country check cashing fees are ridiculous, I'd end up paying much more than the wire transfer fee and they would make me wait something like 60 days to actually get the money.
Wire Transfer fee sucks, but if you take C4S seriously, it shouldn't really take even a day to make up for the $45 and it's worth it in the end, even if you live in a place like me. If you do C4S only as a side thing, I'd raise the minimum payout, so you don't end up paying $45 out of $150 (the minimum for international wire transfer). Just a personal preference, but in that case I would much rather make $1000 every three months or so and pay the fee only once.

Hi girls! I signed up to C4S at the end of August and it's been an amazing experience so far! I'm absolutely loving it and it suits me a lot better than camming :) I'll share some of my experience so far, hopefully it helps out some newbies. I have to add that I read the ENTIRE thread and got lots of great insights about how to make it on this site.
So, I've basically started by uploading what I had available in my computer, just to get going. Then I went through the categories list on C4S to see what I'd like doing and started from there. I'm trying not to copy somebody in particular, but add my special twist to it. I was lucky to receive emails from guys right from the beginning asking for certain things, suggesting future videos and basically giving me ideas. As I'm new, I don't mind making videos from their suggestions, especially if it's something interesting. I always promote my custom clips though :)
I'm still experimenting with different categories, but stay faithful to the ones that sold best so far. I upload a lot, at least 3 times a day, sometimes more. I look a lot at what sold and what not using the Run Report tool from Sales. It's super great! I also use Google Analytics and turns out quite useful so far, as I can know when to post my videos depending on where my clients are located.
As for technical stuff, I use my Nikon Coolpix camera that records quite nice videos. Not the best quality, but still HD and pretty clear. They turn out as .avi so I convert them in AnyVideoConverter which is just great! I convert most videos in .wmv and .mp4 and post them in 2 different categories for more exposure. If I need to edit a video I use Avidemux 2.6. It's free and easy to use. Most of my videos are around 100-300 MB.
If I need to send a custom through email I'll just use the free version of MediaFire. It only allows to upload 200 MB at one time, so if the file is bigger, I'll split it with HJSplit and then tell the customer to put it together using the same program (it's really easy to download and use!).
Looking forward to get my first payment! Would so love something easier as payment, like Payoneer, but oh well, can't have'em all! :)
Hope you girls sell tons!

@SunnyAlice great job!! Sounds like you're really putting the right effort in and getting the results :) Hope your store reeeeally takes off like you deserve.
I would suggest using camredeem.com though for distributing custom videos, mediafire isn't adult friendly and I had a real issue with people getting by my passwords and downloading my videos. No problems anymore :)

You can also use Files2U.com it allows uploads of up to 3gb. You upload it and it emails a link and passcode to the customer and they only have 48 hours to download it.

You can also use CamRedeem. It's in beta so it's free right now, just upload whatever videos you want. (up to 1gb) And then you can create a one-time download link for the customer. Great because there is no possibility for them to share the link, and you can deactivate the link whenever you want if you see that they haven't used it yet.

Hi love
i have same camera and same problem... I did make some progress. I'm trying to refocus on my clips4sale vision since camming seems so dry for me at the moment...
for now what i can say is that i record while i'm broadcasting on sm on my mac, so I can capture using the camera...
I also have parallels installed and was hoping i could work out to split-cam... definitely haven't worked out how to do that with the logitech
i'll let u know what I can manage this week since I can't remember shit right now : )

OK so this is what I remember off the top of my head and I can't remember for sure, but I had the same problems as you which I believe I resolved, and the latest was I need to work out how to splitcam. At first I also couldn't get the Adobe Encoder to read the Logitech for camming on SM - I was soooo pissed i'd bought that camera ...!! Eventually I made some progress, so let's see if this works for you too?
try this:
download the free trial of iGlasses http://download.cnet.com/iGlasses/3000-2150_4-53168.html (if this works, buy it. it's not that expensive). iGlasses offers filters and zooming in options and helpful bits and pieces that we are missing from logitech due to incompatability.
Select the logitech camera in the iGlasses application.
Next see if you can now read the camera in your editing software by selecting iGlasses as your capture device in iMovie or Final Cut Pro.. (for me it's super choppy in QuickTime, but it does capture in iMovie and FCP at a better quality although not perfectly).
Actually, though, the important part for me was this... it seemed by throwing iGlasses into the equation, it somehow enabled the Logitech to also be read separately, in its own right, by my streaming encoder, iMovie and Final Cut Pro (though not at the same time)... So now I can select the Logitech as the device, and it comes out perfect...
I hope you manage to get it to work this way too?
an Iphone can catch HD material for you to upload straight onto your mac, too..
I'm looking to upgrade and double up on my hardware too... I would LOVE a better camera and a second laptop to edit with !
If anyone or you find any info on splitcamming with a Mac and Logitech let me kno...? & no doubt I'll be sure to drop some info here and in the split camming section if I clock it but at the moment it's all choppy both on my Mac and in Parallels...
Much love x x

Another update from me regarding Macs, Logitech C920 and in this case recording while broadcasting via the Adobe encoder...
At first I was getting mp4s out of converting the recorded .f4v files via VLC player, but some lacked sound. Then in other methods I just could not get my editing software to read them so I can get to editing and watermarking and such...
Seems now, if take the .f4v files that I record via the Adobe encoder while I broadcast for streamate, & throw them throught the Leawo video converter for Mac, which offers a variety of formats, I'm good to go...
Through Leawo I'm happy converting them to .mov for editing in Final Cut Pro, and finally using the QT Converter it has in the File > Export > Using QuickTime Conversion for whatever formats I'm gonna be uploading.
I suppose if you don't need to do any editing and you just want to throw in a show start to finish, Leawo will convert the .f4v perfectly to upload straight to c4s i suppose?
Hope that helps x

Does anyone DRM encode? I looked into it a bit online but it was kinda confusing, it seems like it would definitely cut into my profits, but then again so does all the broke douchebags sending my videos to everyone and their mother online. Getting a little sick of filling out takedown notices and spending every spare minute combing through sites

Really depends on what fetish you do, there are a lot of fetish specific boards where guys will post your videos after they've bought them so none of their pals have to pay (boooo). I started by typing "(whatever fetish) message board" into google, if you think a particular video has been passed around search a few specific keywords that might post yours. A lot of boards have member only parts where they post your videos, you won't be able to see them. If I have too much piracy in a particular fetish I quit doing the videos for awhile. Also check the stats on your c4s page, traffic sometimes shows me where people are talking about me/where my videos are.
I've had a big problem with dailymotion specifically, I check there quite often now. Just search your fetish

I tried looking for a few videos but I couldn't find anything. Thanks God !
I really wish they added Payoneer....maybe we should do a petition for this lol. I already sent the suggestion from my admin panel and they said they will pass it along to their manager. Maybe if enough of us suggest this, they will consider it.
I ended up paying $85 in wire fees, for international transport. It's painful :( I have to sell like 10 videos to cover that huge wire fee. Ugh ! And I don't want to receive a check, I never used one and I don't think I'd like to do it.

Ok, here is my story. A couple of years a go I made a couple of fetish videoclips with a guy I met on the internet. He made account on c4s and provided IDs and personal info of both of us as we were both on the clips. He promised me to give me half of the earned money, but he never did. So we stopped our "partnership", but he is still selling our clips from that time on c4s. And the account still exists. I would like to open my own account now, but don't know if it is possible if I'm already "performing" on another account. Is there any solution to this?

I really need to get my ass in gear with Clips4Sale.
I have such limited space I can film in (live in an absolute shitole ATM) and just don't know what vids to shoot that will sell.
I have uploaded enough picture sets but not video sets.
I'm in the UK.
I don't know what niche(if any!) to go for. Even though I'm 31 on cam I do a lot of age play and innocent girl stuff....I want to have some passive income as well as camming/stripping.

I don't know what niche(if any!) to go for. Even though I'm 31 on cam I do a lot of age play and innocent girl stuff....I want to have some passive income as well as camming/stripping.
I shoot like 90% of my clips on my couch. I also don't have much free space. In general you can shoot in every room that you have. Like you can wash the dishes in the kitchen, or take a shower in the bathroom. And of course your bed. You can also use a chair or an office chair for some clips.
As for the niche I think it's different for every girl. When I first started I just browsed through every category and tried as much of them as I could. You have to try it to see if it'll make money for you. If you're into age play maybe you can have a look at the taboo category.
You can have multiple clip stores so. You just sign up as your own studio. I've seen many models who work with a studio and have solo stores and I know a few who have done it.

Thanks hun-the shower is 'okay' I think I could shoot some in there, the kitchen though, nope nor the bed :( the house is derelict seriously. The kitchen has no lighting aside from a couple of spotlights and even in the daytime It's dark, dingy and horrible-full of junk. Maybe I could make that a niche of sorts lol.The bed not really either, the walls have no covering and there's rubble visible on the brickwork. It isn't my house, I stay with my boyfriend who isn't well mentally and It's hard getting him to do anything.I usually sleep on the sofa 'cause the bedroom depresses me that much.
Sofa yes and shower, that's what I have even then I can't move out of frame or Ill get some junk/dirty unkempt surface in shot lol.

My couch is like one meter away from the window and on a cloudy day the light is not enough. You can buy some lights, there are threads about it in camming connection. Also I always use some lights when I shoot in the toilet, there is so little light there.

Lighting is everything, it can make a crap camera look decent and a great camera take a useless video. The good news is it's cheap, I have something like this: http://www.amazon.com/LimoStudio-Photography-Portrait-Umbrella-Continuous-Lighting/dp/B005FHZ2SI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1381556649&sr=8-3&keywords=lighting+photography and it works awesome, I got some brighter bulbs though. Clutter dictates what videos I do when and where, just zoom in as much as possible and hope for the best, I have blankets I throw everywhere to cover stuff up. Really though, just an extra light will do wonders for your space. Good luck!

So for those who do a lot of smoking (or other similar/repetitive) clips: what do you call all of them and what do you put in the descriptions? It feels like there's only so many ways to put "watch me sexily smoke a cigarette", lol.

I recently tried and partially succeeded at taking the smoking category by storm (got to #14 yay)... Anyways I ran into the same problem b i was posting a smoking vid everyday
i would call my videos smoking in x area, smoking in whatever color shirt I was wearing, just elaborate the video.. I have a video 'smoking by the pool', 'smoking 2 cigarettes by the pool' and if I made another one by the pool I call it 'smoking by the pool in my bikini', another...' Smoking by the pool in the afternoon/morning, night, evening' <----- there's 4 titles alone...
"smoking x type of cigarette" "smoking x type of cigarette in x location/x clothes/x makeup"
etcetcetc the naming possiblities are endless
hope I was some help!

Oh my gosh. Today was the first day I've filmed clips in 2 weeks! It was sooooo hard to motivate!! And I feel like they were sub-par work on top of that. I find myself doing the same thing over and over today. I have all these ideas for clips and can't do them because I didn't plan. Ladies, I know life comes up, (that's why I missed my first week) but try to stick to a schedule!! Like any other job, your performance will be affected when you slack off!!
