Hi girls,
Can you advise me please, i have done a clip which was asked on a fetish forum if it was any good, a guy replied it was already on his mega account, he shares clips he buys with other guys on this forum, is there anything i can do?
I am about to reply to his thread but i am p***ed off if indeed he is going to share this clip and would like to have a good response as it was selling really well and won't be selling so well if the toss pot is just going to give it away now he has bought it.

If he posts the link in the forum and you can see it you can send a dmca to the site that hosts it and they'll remove it. You can write me a pm if you want, I've had lots of my clips removed.
In general maybe it's better to not post there at all or post, but be nice and kindly ask them to not share your clip, because you've worked hard and blah blah. If you start arguing with them it'll only get worse.
And also if you know who's the one who bought it and wants to share it, you can write to C4S support and they can block him. I've done that, when I'm sure who's the guy.

I only knew about it as i looked at my stats and saw where the traffic was coming from......the guys just give him there email and they share.
I have not commented .....Yet. The thing is they want more content and go and do that. There is one guy saying he no longer shares clips as he wants other girls to do more clips and then you get that dumb arse.

You can ask the admin to remove the thread, because you don't want your clips to be shared. It might not work if they're all assholes, but it's worth a try.

Yay so my C4S studio officially opened a couple days ago and today I saw that two of my clips sold! I am so excited! It was two of the same clip so maybe I should focus on making more in that fetish category.
Who knows maybe it was a fluke lol time shall tell…

Sounds like you're figuring out who your real audience is, and they're trying to do the same with you. In the meantime, did you get all your banners and marketing stuff done? That helps..
I was under the impression that clips4sale could tell if your clips were being passed around and would ban the person from buying future clips. So this is wrong apparently? Great... one of the reasons I went with c4s so I wouldn't have to police my own stuff.
lifetravelergirl>
If you want to do a really well directed clips once a month like the ones you were doing with music and all the fancy stuff that's a great idea. But really I'm finding that it's just pocket change for most of us. Days when it's slow on my regular sites sometimes I will make a few quick clips. Then post them. That alone takes awhile. Or I'll do it on shark week, since most fetish stuff isn't insertion. Don't feel bad about your traffic. It varies greatly. But do keep an eye on it. I am also averaging what you're making in a month. I refuse to do taboo shit. I'd make alot more if I did. Also sometimes I try to do just one clip after my main working day is done, or during a slow period of the day. Don't let it get you down. Just have fun with it, maybe it will turn into something more serious down the road. But i find alot of the requests I get are totally scripted and and I refuse to even try to cater to them. Sure that is where the better money is, but I feel they are marketing your really scripted posts for more$$$$$$. Why do I feel that way? Because it sounds exactly like a director of a porno. Just keep plucking away at it. I find my stats tank if I don't post a video every fucking day. But when you consider they only have to be 2 min...

Another two sold today with a third on order (meaning I guess they have not paid?)....I am so excited though and now I am kicking myself for not doing this sooner lol. They are both from the same fetish category. I filmed and uploaded another last night and it sold today. I have not made any banners or done any marketing, all I have done so far is upload clips. I have fifteen total. I definitely want to do the banner thingy but I have to research because I am totally not tech savvy.
Thanks for your advice KlassFX =)

They do but there's no way they can catch everything. A lot of times your stuff is renamed, re-watermarked, and distributed in a different language or country. You still have to police your own stuff and then notify them.
You can also use DRM encoding, but it's costly.

Well having had a look at the whole god dam forum its pointless doing this fetish this is a thread from the administrator
Let's share files.
Step 1: Go to https://mega.co.nz/ and make an account
Step 2: Click 'New folder' and upload to that folder your videos, pictures, sound files etc...
Step 3: Go to the 'contacts' section, add all of the emails posted in this thread as a contact and post your own email address too (the one you used to sign up)
Step 4: Right click on the folder you made earlier and select 'sharing', then click the email drop down list in the bottom left and make sure all of your contacts have access to your folder
My email:
[email protected]
Sure enough the clip will sell like hot cakes until someone off there that shares buys it then its just shared to most guys on there for free, i won't be indulging that one anymore, not really my thing anyway but i wanted to try something new and bank well just before cut off yesterday.

The first time I noticed this it was a fetish forum and guys were recommending my studio but not sharing my clips :)
I think this is pretty much the same for all forums with a particular fetish BUT not all if your a burping girl your clips are being shared for free on the burping fetish forum so be warned as they are really quite blatant about it as well at the same time moaning there are not enough new girls dabbling in there fetish lol

^Hmmmm...yes I feel less inclined to make certain clips now too. I had hits linking back to a certain fetish forum and was unable to ever get a response from anyone there to find out more. Obviously it could be coincidence but a clip I had uploaded and that was selling quite well has not had any further sales since around the time hits started coming from this forum.
Since I do plan to continue making clips it is probably futile getting too worked up about it as piracy seems inevitable to a degree but it is really frustrating. I've also had someone buy clips in two different formats(yes they could want to watch on more than one device but I feel it is more likely they are sharing them).

Its the risk we all take, unfortunately they also post them on fb, i did well off my clips from that fetish for 4 days very well infact but to know they are so blatant about sharing just pis*es me off plus i actually felt quite ill after as i am so not a big drinker unless its wine!! For me it was all about knowing i would get some good dollar off it moving forward i will be back to doing what i do best and burping fetishist can go and take and run and jump now.

I just went thru many many pages on here reading if this question was answered. Someone asked it many pages ago but it was never answered…..Do I have to advertise that I can do customs on C4S somewhere or would a customer send me a message or email asking me? Not sure how that works…
thanks for reading…

I have at the top of my C4S store to email me about customs with my email address. I also have twitter but I rarely post about customs and requests. A lot of my customs have come from guys seeing me upload a video and them having a fetish that kinda goes with it what I already did so then they'll email me. Like I did a high heel video of me walking around and a guy asked me to wear those same shoes but do toe tapping then another emailed me about dangling.

I just finished recording another clip. I was reviewing it when all of a sudden in the background I see my kitty jump on the table for about 20 seconds and then jumps down. I am assuming that's a no no since they do not allow animals on camera. Ughhh such a disappointment when I saw that because I was very satisfied with the clip. I still love my kitty though, she didn't mean it lol.
I have a Mac and have been using Quicktime video. I thought the trimming part meant you can cut some stuff out but it pertains to cutting out actual footage. I should probably just re-record it.
So I just read something…will start using I-Movie to record instead..I can cut parts of screen using that.
Thanks...

I've been paid by some of the larger C4S studios to do advanced scenework (digital airbrush, scene recolor and relight, smoke, fx, etc). 5+ years visual FX experience in Hollywood. If you have video questions on how to make things look nice for c4s I know a few dirty tricks. If you need scenework, I will trade service for content. I already have models that I have partnered with for content, and I'm building up a new c4s fetish site right now. I could always use more friends :).
I know this is going to sound completely naive but I had no idea that the bigger studios used scenework. (To tell you the embarrassing truth I hadn't even heard the term scenework until this exact moment.)
I hope this isn't to personal of a question but I am curious to what software you use? I am currently using VirtualDub (aka the poor man's Sony Vegas.) :)

Hey KlassFX, have you heard of the software from Red Giant called Cosmo? Supposedly it is digital skin touchup. So far I go more natural letting the occasional pimple or what have you just show on my clips, but was curious if this will still be natural looking or if there was a better product to buy. (Around $99 I think).

Hello, could someone let me know if the payment by check (mainly the stub) has any description about what the check is for? My check went to my parents house and I'm worried if it says anything 'bad' on the stub or additional paperwork with check. Thanks!

The checks have a company name, nothing to hint that its from c4s or adult material in any way. I won't mention what the business name is, we don't want google searches outing us.

The pay amount is listed as "commissions," there is a spot for hours worked, taxes withheld and other typical check stuff but its left blank. There are no details to hint that its adult work. It doesn't list your videos sales or anything, it just gives the total sales amount for that month.

It's actually quite common for people to use FX. Already, you see models using greenscreens just so their backgrounds aren't so monotonous. Another example is Giantess scenes where you want to represent the model as being extremely large or even walking over a city. That's a pretty common fetish on C4S.
As far as what I use, my favorite is Sony Vegas, and Adobe Premiere is a close 2nd. VirtualDub is actually very powerful, if you get the right plug-ins. I used to use it years ago for stabilization, and it's still pretty good for that.
Wow, two naive questions from me in a row.

All studios have access to a rotating banner system. Upload or create your own banner and they will display it in applicable categories regularly. If you're not doing this, you're easily giving up tons of traffic.
By "Marketing," I mean you should seriously consider bringing traffic from outside in, as well as working C4S traffic from within that site (such as the rotating banners above). If you're just uploading a couple of clips of yourself and sitting back, you're going to get buried. The top studios are there for a reason, and they will use any tactic available that it stays that way. I almost think it's about 75% tactics and 25% actual content.

Cosmo is just one of many tools I use. It's a great way to hide pimples, but it can also look very fake (that's why it's only $99). To really cheat, you can combine it with other techniques: change scene lighting, facial and body reshaping, hair extension or recolor, remove red eye, whiten teeth, and other things. I will even repitch dialogue and completely change her voice or reconstruct her lines (sometimes helpful for models that can't act).

It looked as though things were picking up for me, I sold 11 clips and then traffic began dying and now traffic is lower than it has ever been and no sales. Only 55 hits yesterday and fewer today. No sales in 5 days. How should I feel about this? I have been automatically uploading a clip every day. Do I need to upload clips manually instead of placing them in cue in order to use the Tweet feature? Help, I am so disgusted with myself for putting so much effort (a full month) into something that has paid less than my worst camming night. I can't survive on $67 a month. O_O Am I going about this all wrong? I have uploaded 43 clips in one month.
This just depends what times are your clips set to upload?
Twitters peek hours for visibility are from 1pm- 4pm.
Are you taking some screen shots for promotion and tweeting you have a new clips at least twice a day?
Have you set up all your banners?
Message Me~!!!
I dont want to see all your hard work go to waste.
With 43 clips in one month and the right social media advertising you should be able to reach well over $2,000.

This isn't incorrect, i'm sure this is true for a lot of people on the site. But I just want to point out, for newbies, that this doesn't happen over night on c4s. It has a snowball effect, keep uploading the same amount of videos every month, and your check will double easy, because one month you have 40, then you have 80, then you have 120 clips, which creates more sales. Once you get a couple of pages of videos (10+) is when you start seeing big sales, and big tributes, that make that $2k possible. But just uploading 42 random clips won't create that. It also depends on the categories you choose, what you shoot with, how you edit, your lighting, and your niche.
Just don't want to scare newbies away who don't make 2k their first month, or their first year. The snowball effect is big on c4s, thats for sure.

What does everyone think of c4s's new upload page. Its interesting, I like the idea of resumable uploads, though I was half way through an upload when it stopped, refreshed the page and it was new! It says we need a newer browser for that, but i'm not sure how to check which google chrome I am using. Does anyone know which google chrome that works with? I have shotty internet so that will be a life-saver if I can get it to work.

As of right now the uploader is twice as slow, and I already have slow internet. Takes me over an hour to upload anything over 200mb, and at the rate this is going its gonna take me two hours with this new uploader. I'll report back if it picks up any faster.

I am still *way* over my head when it comes to VirtualDub but I am in love with the fact that you can save your settings and that it has a queue. I was using Windows Movie Maker and found it so annoying that I started randomly searching the net because I knew there had to be some sort of open source software out there to save me. Hurray for VirtualDub!
Thanks so much for the heads up on the rotating banner system! I mean, I saw that there were banners going on but I was totally confused to how it worked. I love C4S but I really find their documentation to be...um, lacking.

Hey everyone…so yesterday marked three weeks since I opened my studio. I am up to 35 clips now. It has been quite awesome for me so far but maybe it's a fluke lol. I have sold 93 clips and my total for this month so far is pretty awesome and wayyyyy more than I imagined. My studio is #6 and there are eight of my clips on the top 50 clips list. I keep thinking hmmmm is this for real. I'm definitely not complaining but its one of those things that at first (like right now) seems too good to be true. You know what though, let me give it another few weeks or months and see where I stand there. I'll keep doing what I have been doing and upload a clip or two once a day. It's like now I have to stay at this level and promote…which leads me into a question I have...
I made my first banner a couple days ago and "activated" it. I have not seen it in my category yet but I'm assuming it's there..? Was there another step I should of taken besides just activating the banner?
Thanks for the advice and hope everyone has a great day =)

Nice job! Talent + constant effort pays off. As far as the banner, I remember it almost took a week for the changes to kick in. The reason is that everyone else's banner is scheduled. You can check the banner schedule to see when your banner will show up.

Thanks for the info =) I just checked again and noticed that my banner is scheduled. It doesn't have a date or time just says which category it's being displayed in and for how long. I guess I may not see exactly when it's up there but oh well lol…

I'm finally getting serious with my C4S I've had one for a long time and only updates sporadically. I've been putting in effort this week and so far I've made a few sales, my traffic has gone waaay up, so here's to hoping I do well!
I'm trying for 2 clips a day 5 days a week for a while. Does that sound like too much? I'm setting my videos to release at a certain time daily, so I'll film a bunch, upload them and set them to release daily at 10am and 6pm. I like this idea, just do a bunch in a day and then don't have a to worry about it for a few more days! Think I've found my groove! The problem is thinking of fresh content.
It's a bit of a struggle for me nitch wise because when I first started my nitch was different, I had a bit of a following but I can't really go that route anymore. I used to be heavier then I am, I'm still a BBW but I used to be more of an SSBBW and played up the weight gain angle, now its kind of obvious if you look back to my earlier videos I've LOST weight so I'm not sure if I want to even do those type of videos. So still trying to find my nitch and test out different ideas and see what works!

Thankyou. I usually take 2-3 mins to change the rollover pic, then look and refresh several times if my store's not appearing. I usually upload at 4am, noon, or 4pm EST (I'm in the UK so that's 9, 5, and 9 for me) and rarely upload a clip during peak times unless I schedule it for when I'm sleeping. I check several pages back until I see the listing which was there before I uploaded, and nada. Very frustrating.
If it's longer than 30 minutes I email studio support, sometimes they need to fix it at their end.
Thanks Katy, I might start doing this. It's been at least three clips so far. :(
