I think I will request a Teeth category :) If enough of us do, then they might make one. Hope so! :)
How do we do that? Just send an e-mail to site support?

I actually have a bit of a teeth fetish myself.. :O
You can just suggest categories. I "created" the jeans/pants wetting category that way a few years ago. Use the admin suggestion. I just did it as well for the teeth category. Neil normally answers really fast. I guess we'll get it done :)

Hello,
...
If you want to read a little and maybe increase your knowledge of clips4sale, the site was adult-income.com (http://adult-income.com) and the new guide is http://adult-income.com/promotion-and-updating-clipstore-guide-for-beginners/.
....
I've read a few articles on Sinna's new site and recommend everyone check it out when they have a chance. Right now most of the advice is stuff you probably already know or "oh duh, I should be doing that" but I'm sure everyone can find something new or at least a little reminder that your working in the right direction.

I just received an answer to the request:

Hello Sinna,
Please add clips to this category as soon as possible.
Category: "TEETH FETISH" was added

I'd like to get more smoking fetish categories added. All we have is smoking and it is flooded and too broad. I'm requesting:
smoky blowjob
smoking masturbation
smoking sex
french inhale
smoke rings
cigarette holder
Anyone else feel free to do the same!
Sinna (2pee4you)
07-08-2015, 10:17 AM
I would not go too broad though. You would not want to spread out the visitors too much.
SophiaSylvan

Over 115,000 clips that seems too broad to me. But you have a good point.

I tried every category and every formant. Somehow I just can’t make any sales. Please give me some direction. I’m an excellent dancer but when it comes to clip4sales I’m stumped. What can I do different? My main focus has been to cater to the categories that have the least attention/ clips. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Sinna gave you some great advice and I want to add to it.
I'd pick three categories you like (or from her article advice 1 category) Then film 10 clips that fall within those/that category.
- Sometimes you need to limit your effort, in order to get traction. By working in just one (or 3) directions you can put all your effort in one place and customers will be more likely to see your clip(s) in that category and purchase them. Spread out your updates over a week / 10days. I post 2 versions of each of my clip, a week or so apart from each other.
Don't pick empty or overstated categories, you need a happy middle ground.
- You want your update to stay on the in the Recently updated category for at least 5hr - 24hrs.
As Sinna say's don't focus on the money, focus on being consistent for at least a month or 2. If after your second month of posting consistently doesn't start to pay off, then its time to reevaluate what your doing.
Good Luck.

Please excuse my english.

Does anyone know when/why the tampons category was deleted? I assume it's because of payment processors not liking blood stuff, but it's never been a problem before.

I wouldn't use Western Union. Pretty sure the customer would get your name, phone number and address. Too risky.
Sinna (2pee4you)
07-09-2015, 07:31 AM
Hello Sexyven,
there is no payment processing for custom clips on c4s. You would have to deal with that yourself, like getting money through western union (the sender pays the commission), having the customer send money on paypal (risky, but possible as long as you have a neutral email and the customer does not state that it's for a custom clip) or any other payment processor (payza, paxum, bitpay etc.). Many studios use the c4s tribute function to get "paid" but it costs you 25% and it is NOT allowed. If c4s finds out, they take away your tribute function or worse.
Hello Luna,
like you said, blood is not allowed and they could be afraid of rule violations. The golden shower and even watersports categories also exist, but are not accessible anymore. Although we could post there, abiding by the rules. I guess c4s thinks it's safer this way. But you can always ask

Hello SuperPookie,
this thread is updated so often, it's basically sticky. But as far as "stickying" for the reason to get my website in the spotlight, it would make sense if it had an own topic I guess. In this mega-thread, you won't be able to find it (if you are new) :)

Thank you darling Sophia, it was just as example but I'll take in mind :)
And also thanks to you Sinna (BTW your guide rocks!), but it stills reamins my question about who pays the % rates by trasnfer comission.
Sinna (2pee4you)
07-09-2015, 07:46 AM
@sexyven I have answered it, the sender pays the commission for western union
Sexyven
07-09-2015, 07:49 AM
Ok, thank you very much Sinna. And what about transfer by bank account (like wire or ACH I think)?
Just to be clear, the price I give to the costumer is the TOTAL amount of money I'll receive, % rates or comissions are on customers charge, am I right?
Kisses.
Sinna (2pee4you)
07-09-2015, 08:01 AM
I am not sure I understand what you are planning to do or how your system will work. However, I don't charge for requests at all so I am probably not the right person to answer this.
I am always trying to be very careful about my privacy, so wire (and many other ways) would not be an option if I were to do it.
Who pays the commissions, rates and fees depends on the processor you use. I never used WU but I thought they took 5% and the sender pays it. I also thought it would be anonymous. I furthermore read they were trying to get out of the adult market and shut down contracts with sites they had from the adult business. These are just thoughts though. Visiting the WU homepage would probably be the best option if you want to get reliable answers.

I'm wondering what you guys are charging for custom videos.
I do quite a lot of work on mine, as my niche is complete fantasy, (giantess/ shrunken man).
I'm basically writing/filming/editing short movies with special effects, (even about to buy my 1st greenscreen!)
I have been charging a base amount for the editing (depending on how many camera angles are used) plus a per-minute fee that is more or less depending on complexity, nudity, etc.
I'm just kinda wondering what other women are charging for their custom videos, and what kind of work you guys are putting into the editing etc...
Sinna (2pee4you)
07-09-2015, 12:41 PM
I put in a lot of work and charge nothing for the custom. Just the clip price. Probably "loosing" a lot of money that way, but that's not what's most important to me. The guys can be creative and have fun and we are all happy. Mostly :P

In regards to taking payments for customs:
Some of this info may be outdated, but the original post in 2014 was at: http://missfreudianslit.tumblr.com/p...ayment-options
Sex Work Approved Payment Options
Paypal [x] “You may not use the PayPal service for activities that… relate to transactions involving…. certain sexually oriented materials or services.” See this blog posting for ways that PayPal will find to close or freeze your account. Do not use.
Square [x] - “… Will not accept payments in connection with… Adult entertainment oriented products or services (in any medium, including internet, telephone or printed material)”. Do not use.
Amazon [x] - Nothing was found on their legal page, but during a private chat they said, “All Amazon.com Wish Lists found to be used for purchasing items in exchange for legal sex work, be it camera modeling or otherwise, are not allowed and will be removed.” They went on to say that if you are found in violation of their rules, your wish list can be deleted. Multiple occurrences of rule violation and you can lose your entire account, including gift cards still remaining on your balance. Use with caution.
Greendot [x] - Nothing was found in their Cardholder Agreement, but during a private chat they said, ”The Green Dot Card cannot be used for adult website or adult services.” Do not use.
WePay [x] - ”…You will not accept payments or use the Service in connection with the following activities, items or services:
Adult or adult-related services, including escort services, adult massage, or other adult-entertainment services
Adult or adult-related content, including performers or ‘cam girls’.” Do not use.
Giftrocket [x] Nothing was found in their legal page, but when asked about using the site for adult services in an email:
"Your customers can send you gifts through our site, but keep in mind that we are not a payment processor and that is not an approved use of our site. We also only recommend you only accept gifts on our site from people you know." Use with caution.
Venmo [x] - “You agree you will not use the Services to violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation relating to sales of… certain sexually oriented materials or services”
When asked about using the site for adult services in an email: ”We do not provide a payments product for any services or other business activity. Our platform is for peer to peer transactions only. At this time we cannot provide payment services for any transactions associated with goods or services whether or not the related content is adult. Legal adult services will be reviewed on a case by case basis if and when we can support business transactions.” Do not use.
Bitcoin [x] Nothing was found on their legal page, but when asked about using the site for adult services in an email:
"Bitcoin allows you to accept payments directly without involving a third party intermediary. If you click through to the Bitcoin.com website, there’s info there on how you can set up a wallet and get started. Otherwise, there are also merchant processors that you can utilize, some of the biggest being Coinbase and BitPay.”
Bitpay [x] Nothing was found on their legal page, but when asked about using the site for adult services in an email:
"You are able to use us as a payment processor for legal, adult purposes." Sex worker friendly!
Coinbase [x] Nothing was found on their legal page, but when asked about using the site for adult services in an email:
”As long as your company is operating legally and compliant with all state and federal regulations, you can use Coinbase’s merchants services.” Sex worker friendly!
Payoneer [x] This company gave me a lot of hassle when I tried to get an exact answer out of them about what is allowed by the company or even a list of approved sites that they work with. Apparently you’re okay if you’re using one of their approved sites but DO NOT USE THE PAYONEER CARD FOR PRIVATE LOADING.
Quoted: “We provide payment options for people in the adult industry but they need to sign up through one of our partner companies in order to use Payoneer as a payment solution [like] LiveJasmin, Myfreecams and other similar sites.
"But please be advised that people working in the adult industry cannot get paid through the US Payment Service. Your Payoneer card is intended to be used as a payout solution, to get paid from any of our official partners or the US Payment Service. Your Payoneer account should not be used for the sole purpose of Private Loading. Under section 5 of the terms and conditions of that specific service does not support adult work. Please also note that the US Payment Service is not available to those residing in the US.”
Section 5 of the terms and conditions of the US Payment service reads, “You will not accept payments in connection with the following activities, items or services [for] obscene or pornographic items, adult businesses or adult related services, including escort services, adult massage, or other adult-entertainment services, adult performer regardless of sexual orientation [or] personal use such as gifts, loans or payments from friends and family.” Use with caution.
Verotel [x] Nothing was found on their legal page, but when asked about using the site for adult services in an email:
"We can work with online payments for webcam or phone sex, as long as it is implemented in your site with our payment gateway. We can only process for online content, downloads, videos, webcam chat, talk , etc. …If someone is to pay for a service and then there is a real life session that is offered later, we would not be able to process for this.” (Online sex work is okay, RT sessions are not) Sex worker friendly!
Redpass [x] This company touts themselves as “The ultimate payroll solution for the adult entertainment industry.” Sex worker friendly!

What is the usual upload speed for clips? I'm trying to upload one 5 minute clip and it says that I have 318 minutes remaining. In 30 minutes it's gotten to 3%. My internet is working fine and I'm not having computer issues.

So, in a total 'dur' moment, I was signing up and let the autofill fill in all my info - including the regular email address I always use which is my personal one. I think I've read about changing it in this thread before, but I can't find where. Do I have to contact support to change the email address associated with my account?

Paxum and Payza also allow adult content. I have accounts there but never used them. Payza said they allow adult material but then they did not approve my website, because it was inappropriate content (I have pee content). So I guess they have restrictions. I also have a bitpay account. The free plan is limited to receiving $100 / day though, keep that in mind.
superpookie, the upload speed for me is limited to 700kb/s, although my upload is faster. It's certainly not as slow as what you are experiencing at the moment. No one would use c4s if that were normal. Maybe you use a FTP program (as you see the eta I guess you do) and have limited your upload bandwidth in the options? Is it faster with the Gizmo?
aurora: Home -> edit profile. I think I can change my email, but I won't try it now. If it doesn't work, you can contact
[email protected] or go to their live chat and have someone do it for you. They are friendly and easy about something like this.

MissJu,
that sucks. We all hope it doesn't happen and it always sucks, but it's a part of this business. It can be very discouraging, so I just wanted to say I feel with you but don't think about it too much. It doesn't help you to get bothered by it. Try to continue, so you will have a day with a nice order to make up for today. I have had my days of negative balance as well. Now I am in the top 50 again. It's really an up and down business where you can't focus on the day, week or month. You have to go by average. You can do it! And of course have the forum take down your material.

I was always wondering about those idiots who posts online vids,i thought how could you pay 20$ amd after post that video, you spent your money and give it to other people for free...
But now i know, they simple not even payed for it:( i would be less offended if he would charge back and keep money and video. But no, he have to post it...
but karma will get him, or I will.

Found 2 of my smoking fetish videos up for free on 2 different forums. Did the clips4sale DMCA request and I won't be making any more smoking fetish videos from now on. They weren't my top sellers anyway and I don't smoke so I don't really like doing them, it's painful and I have to brush my teeth like 5 times afterwards because I hate the taste! I haven't had any piracy in any other fetishes (that I can find anyway, and I search very thoroughly regularly) so it seems to just be a smoking fetish thing, there are two very active smoking forums with a lot of piracy so it'll be easiest to just not do any more smoking clips. Annoyed but not as annoyed as I thought I would be. I make a lot of money on c4s for relatively little effort (compared to camming), and piracy just comes with the territory. It sucks, but what can you do apart from DMCA and hope for the best! But maybe if anyone on here has smoking videos, you should do some searching.

Well that fuck took my top selling video too. Well sadly, it is not completely possible to take that video from him or other fuckers who downloaded it.
I will keep making vids, i will just more often check those forums.
I think producers from c4s should have own closed forum for" hatin" purposes maybe we make some kind of collective petition and close those forums, or post links we find of each other because i have no time really send for each person a link on their stoled vids.

This sucks. I have had new videos coming out every day and none have sold. The only stuff selling in my store is my old content. I have been going through and re-writing descriptions to make them better. I guess it is working. There aren't really any categories that I'm doing different. I had gone through my sales from while I was on hiatus to figure out what categories I should focus on. Those are what I'm filming/releasing the most of. I just don't get it. Still going to keep filming and posting the new content though. Maybe I just need to change the time of day I release my new content. I've noticed my sales are usually mid-day/ evening.
Sinna (2pee4you)

Do you notice an upturn in sales when you're in the Top 50?
Actually, you need a big upturn in sales to even get into the top 50. I had a slow day today so I'll drop out for at least a week (probably many weeks again, as you need 7 consecutive extremely good days to get there). My sales were slowly getting less when I was in the top 50 and today they are way down. So no, sales did not go up for me for being in there.
When I used to be in and out of there in the past, I always thought "hey, now that I am not in the top 50 anymore, visitors don't even change that much". It's the same now, the day I entered the top 50, I had a drop in visitors. It went back to "average" amounts in the days that followed, but saying I had more visitors because I was in there would not be reflected by the stats.
In fact, I think it's not that important to be in there, at least not between #30-50. However, not being #1 in a category can cost you many visitors. Up to 35% I noticed. When I started to climb my category, I also noticed a big "push" when I reached #2. So doing well in some categories can certainly help.
Top 50 is really a big struggle and unless you are far up, I don't see it having a big impact.
This sucks. I have had new videos coming out every day and none have sold. The only stuff selling in my store is my old content.
This is basically what generates most sales for me. New clips don't necessarily become big sellers or sell at all, but every update get's you visitors and attention to your content. If you have old content, ANY new update can make you a collateral sale (the person click on your update, doesn't want that clip but keeps browsing and makes a purchase. Without the new update, he would not have come to your store).
So it's not that bad if your new content does not sell. I often don't sell clips, yet I have been in the top 50 for a few days.
By the way, I just made a miracle save of my posting. I had written the answer to catbbw when I also wanted to quote aurora. So I (stupidly) hit "reply with quote" at auroras post, hoping that another answer window would open wherein I could copy the text to the other answer window below catbbw's post. Sadly, that answer window closed as soon as I opened aurora's. So I copied aurora's quote and clicked on "reply with quote" at catbbw's post again, hoping my answer would somehow still be there. It wasn't :(
Frustrated, I thought about answering again with just a quick sentence. I was not in the mood to type it all again. Then I thought, maybe I could try ctrl + z, to undo the last action like in word. MIRACULOUSLY my old post appeared. I posted aurora's quote below (ctrl + v, as I still had it in the clipboard) and answered that as well.
Anyway, if you accidentally open another quote reply and loose your old answer, go back to the old reply and hit ctrl + z in the empty window. Your old answer might appear again. I use chrome.
