Started verification process. Watermarking videos. If bf is ok with it Iwill start selling :D
He is worried that guys can download stuff but I watermark it, plus guys can download even without permission..Guys I've dealt with on ELM, for the most part, don't seem like the kind who would redistribute. Like with MGF it's all about pricing high enough so that guys will still but it but so they won't feel like they should share. It's always a risk but in general the buyers I've met on ELM have been lovely, aside from this one guy..the kicker= He lives in the next town over. :p it's a good thing I never go there!

Yeah I'll place prices slightly higher than mgf... could be suicide I know but I'll try as the fee is lower too. But cool it's passive work. Really hope bf is ok with it..

Isobel, thanks for tipping me off to this thread.
Figured I should jump in here since there were some questions. Before that, though, thanks to the ELM members who have already shared their experiences in this thread. So to answer some of the questions....
Seller Payment - Payout wise we only offer AlertPay and Payoneer at this time. Once you register for the site you can put in your Alertpay email address (listed on your profile) or generate a token to get setup with Payoneer. After you reaching the minimum amount for either service you can make a withdraw request. Requests are paid out with 24 - 48 hours (typically 24 hours). For more info check out this wiki page on
Insights on what sells - Both custom and pre-made content can be sold. We are starting to see more pre-made stuff sold as buyers like the ability to get content right away rather than waiting. In other cases buyers will first buy pre-made content and then message sellers about doing a custom work.
How the process works - All custom jobs and pre-made content is manually approved before being visible on the site. We do this to ensure content follows our guidelines. We aren't trying to play god, but we are more concerned that prohibited content could get our payment processing revoked (then it's game over). Content is reviewed throughout the day and you should have to wait more than a few hours (as long as it is not ).
Ways to sell - There are several ways to sell and make money. In addition to the public jobs and pre-made content that users can view and purchase we also allow private transactions through messaging. Within messages users can tip or they can setup escrow with you. We recommend for selling content through messaging that you use escrow. This is the process that Sybil mentioned. Basically the buyers has to have credits already in their account, we deduct those credits from their account, and after the job is complete those credits are transferred to the seller.
Whew, that was a mouthful. Not sure if I covered everything, but if you have questions or comments (we're always looking for ways to improve) let us know. You can also email us at
[email protected]
What does "generate a token" mean for payoneer? Does it mean we have to pay to set it up?

All that means is that we create a unique link that we give to you to use to sign up or to use to link to an existing payoneer account you might have. We don't charge anything for this. However, there may be associated payoneer fees depending on your setup.

If you already have a Payoneer card, and want to add your ELM account to that card, there's no fee. Once ELM provides you with the registration link, simply follow the instructions shown here (http://blog.payoneer.com/how-to-add-multiple-partners-on-one-payoneer-card-tips-and-tricks/), and you'll be able to begin receiving payments.
When signing up for a new card, any applicable fees will be listed on the card application.

For every job you post you set the number of credits it costs. Currently 1 credit = $0.60 (so 100 credits is $60). If you are a Seller Plus seller your rate is 1 credit = $0.65.

Does this site to allow to sell only Indie cam shows without doing custom videos ? Also, I would like to know if this site per year issue out 1099 ? If so, I would like to know if it will show up under ExtraLunchmoney or discrete reference on 1099 for vanilla employers to not easily trace when doing background check ?

Yes, you are more than welcomed to offer only indie cam shows and not offer any custom videos. There are no requirements for things you have to sell on ELM. Some sellers only use the site for text messaging while others do everything.
We don't issue 1099's at the end of the year. It's up to each seller to report their earning as they see fit.

You can select which payout method you want to use by going to this link:
http://extralunchmoney.com/payouts
(or alternatively if you hover over the "sellers" link in the upper right hand corner when logged in you'll see a link for "withdraw" that you can click).
On the payouts page is where you can choose your method of payout. You can learn more about the types of payout here: http://extralunchmoney.com/wiki/index.php/Seller_Payout_Information
Hope that helps!

Hey - I have been checking out the ELM thread and was thinking about taking some of my business there. I wanted to ask for clarity on a few questions I had.
1. I can sell my pre-made content there - do I have the option to keep it for personal use just to be sure they cannot download it? Also, with the thumbnail picture advertised for a particular picture set or video, is the thumbnail mandatory to have? Am I allowed to modify the picture to put photoshopped stars like over my naughty parts? Am I allowed to not have a thumbnail all together?
2. When you have the content uploaded and a guy swings by and grabs it while I sleep, does he instantly get access to it or do I have to send it to him when I get the e-mail that he has bought it? With customs, if I made one and send it to the guy that has requests it, that's where I would send it via PM with an attached zip file, correct?
3. Do I have the right to make my page non-public to the outside people that are not members or just my friends only or people who have my direct link?
4. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions even if they were repeated.. I just needed some clarity. :) Thanks very much. ELM looks like a great place to be!

Hey MissMafia,
I recommend joining ELM. Its a nice little site, I would stick with your normal pricing there are a few girls that price things kind low.
1. I can sell my pre-made content there - do I have the option to keep it for personal use just to be sure they cannot download it?
ELM isnt really a file storing site but you can send videos to just one person if you'd like, You can also Suspend a clip if you dont want people to be able to buy it at that time (ie: if you want to limit the content available to purchase. Also when creating jobs/products, you decide what license to attach to the content. I recommend always picking PERSONAL, as in the only right the guy has to your content, is to sit at home an wank to it.
Also, with the thumbnail picture advertised for a particular picture set or video, is the thumbnail mandatory to have? Am I allowed to modify the picture to put photoshopped stars like over my naughty parts? Am I allowed to not have a thumbnail all together?
You must upload a photo that in-some-way represents the job/download. But feel free to Photoshop stars anything else over the naughty bits. You could also upload a photo saying "This video is just too hot for a preview photo" if you really didnt want to show of anything or it was a rip-off fetish or a surprise content game thing. You also dont need to add an animated gif if you dont want. But by not adding some kind of visual teaser, you may have issues making sales.
This site is easier than MGF. When your sleeping, guys can buy your content, you receive an email saying you sold something and to leave feedback on the buyer. He then gets a download link message from the site and also gets asked to leave feedback. Explaining delivering custom content is a little harder of an answer, Yes you do PM them the file but you do it in either under the Escrow option or via a Custom Clip Job you've set up. Once content is received by the customer he has a few days to check off that he got it and its right before the site automatically sends you the funds. But by sending the clip via the proper work order (i guess thats a good name for it) ELM can easily make sure isnt making a fuss over nothing if they complain. Personally i've never had anyone complain.
3. Do I have the right to make my page non-public to the outside people that are not members or just my friends only or people who have my direct link?
To the best of my knowledge this is not possible. But you could be stealthy in your photos, previews ect like you asked about in your first question.
Something you didn't ask but i figure I should add, ELM does give you a referal code for you account so you can make a few extra credits on guys you bring to the sites' first credit purchase. You can also offer promo codes for your clips and make those private. So if "Tim" and "John" have sent you Christmas presents and you want to give them a free video, you can make that video cost nothing for them, but hide the promotion from everyone else.

I opened an account on ELM a while back, and tried it out but kinda fell away from using it. So I have a few questions that I couldnt see on the site. First the texting thing, do just random guys text us at random? I kinda saw that girls set their own price, whats the average price per text, whats fair I guess. Also how well do fetish clips sell? I love doing fetish stuff much more than vanilla stuff.

I have another question I just thought of. Im using the same clips I have on C4S, but at the end of each clip it shows for a second my facebook or twitter links, and some have my email address. Is that okay? I know we need to keep communication on ELM for a record but for my C4S account I ask them to send requests to my email. Is it still okay to have the email address on the clip as long as all communication is thru the site? I dont want to go thru and edit all my clips.

Good questions.
We need to highlight our wiki more, but you can find more info on the texting thing here: http://extralunchmoney.com/wiki/index.php/SMS_Text_Messaging
But to answer your questions...
1) Do just random guys text us at random?
Once you sign up for the system any elm user who chooses to connect with you can then text you. It's not like a regular phone number where it's advertised everywhere and anyone can text. All users of our system have to be registered members and have to have credits in order to text.
2) What's the average price?
That's a good question. As you've seen it varies. Average I'd guess would be around .20 credits a text.
3) Do fetish clips do well?
Yeah, it does pretty decent on ELM... As you've probably noticed many sellers sell a variety of content... much of it fetish, so if fetish is your thing you should go for it.

Yeah, that's not a problem. For some of the jobs having emails is needed so we don't strictly prohibit it. We do recommend that if you do a custom job that you use the escrow system as it does give you more protecting in case things go wrong with a custom content request since we hold the credits on our end. Just something to think about.

It wasn't a common price that was requested by sellers so we limited there. You can sell projects for over that amount using the escrow system (ie a buyer requests something from you and you decide on a price that is more than 200 credits... ). You can find more info about escrow here:

I took a small break from camming while vacationing ad just got back to ELM today. I loved using ELM so much but am not happy to see the update to the weekly payout system. So it went It went to paying yourself out daily anytime after the min and now its weekly WITH a week hold =( The main reason I used this instead of other sites is because of the great features coupled with a fast and easy payout. The only other site to offer this is MGF but ELM was so much better! Two weeks takes as long too long for me and I like knowing I can work extra if I ever need emergency money. Bummers =(

Thanks for the feedback. We know not everyone is pleased with the new payout system especially from going from daily payouts to weekly / bi-weekly payouts. The main reason for the switch is because we are growing. Since many sellers wanted an alternative payout method to Payoneer we decided to offer check and direct deposit. With 3 different payout sources this means we have to wire and transfer money to 3 different accounts. We want to make sure that everyone gets paid on time so the best way to ensure this was to hold the money that needed to be paid out to ensure sellers' payouts gets transferred to the right accounts to be paid. Other sites have different processes, but we feel this is the best solution for us and our sellers.

TY for the response Anika. I really appreciate it.
One more question I had...
When a guy gets my content, whether I send it to him myself as a custom piece, or he buys it while I sleep, is it just available on ELM or is it available for him as download to his PC? I am wondering if I have the safeguards in place to keep my content from running rampid on tube sites once it's sold or I give it out. After this, and the awesome explaination you gave me, I can figure out from there whether I wanna sign up or not. MGF has been amazing to me and while I still do enjoy my time there, things are slowing down due to my schedule. So I want something to supplement my income as well as protecting my privacy with my content is all. I just don't want to be somewhere that my content can be spread all over the interwebz. I apologize for asking so many questions but sometimes I like to hear the verification from someone rather than read it on the site itself.
I know ELM wouldn't lie but it's the belly of the beast that sometimes sites DO take advantage. I just want to make sure my ducks are in a straight line.
Thanks!

I don't know if this helps considering I'm affiliated with the website, but I figure other people can chime in as well.
When a buyer purchases content from you only that buyer is given access to download the content. Once it's in their possession there's not much we can do to prevent a user from sharing it wherever they want. However, this is the case with any digital files that someone can download and not so much a limitation on of our website. Other sellers watermark their content as a precaution and we don't have any restrictions on what the watermark says (ie it could be your twitter, tumblr, your own site, etc...).
If on the other hand you were worried that we take your content and upload elsewhere then I can reassure you that we absolutely DO NOT do this. Hopefully that helps.

You are limited to what format. Either format will work (if you even wanted you could do both). The best is to run the format that the most people can run as the buyers are the ones who will be purchasing and downloading the file. If there are issues with the file (ie someone downloads it and the file doesn't work) we will suspend the product until it works.

I love ELM, it's not super productive for me (I've been a member since Nov. and made around $105) but I love the unique ability to text buyers! I think that's so cool...if only I could get it running for myself. I set everything up to the T and I've been promoting like crazy, just haven't gotten any bites yet. It's not a price issue either since my price is set to the minimum right now :\ I know most people are pretty tight-lipped but does anyone have any tips on how to get the texting bumpin'? I've searched the forum and haven't found much but even a link to a better thread would be sweet.

They do, but it doesn't really help you get sales - in fact it actually hinders you because guys want to go for models with higher points (therefore more reliable sellers). You get points for every item you sell, every guy that gives you a review and every review you do on a buyer that's bought your product.

Just thought I'd chime in to say that I'm in love with ELM. I updated my profile and put up one kind of crappy video (it's pretty hot but I didn't yet know what I was doing with my camera settings), and I've been getting tons of hits from people who like my look and want me to do custom work for them. So far I'm charging a credit-per-minute rate that's comparable to what I'd be getting for a cam show on SM, and it's so much more fun to work with a practically guaranteed sale than it is to sit and hope it's not going to be a slow day on SM. I don't know if things will keep up like this, but I'm having fun and it looks like I'll be making money. I'm thinking I might move more of my business over to ELM, maybe start offering Skype shows.
