Ceramic heater can shoot up your electrically bill, burn out if you're using it all the time and often times won't heat the space as desired. Ceramic, propane and electric radiator (oil filled) heater all heat spaces differently. Ceramic is good for small spaces since they only really heat the immediate space around itself or for spaces that already have heat but need a little extra on top of it.

I turned a shed room into an my office, there is no heat in there. I tried a ceramic/space heater and it did jack shit to keep me warm, as soon as I moved from in front of it I'd be freezing and even when I was in front of it I still needed a blanket because it wasn't heating up my whole body. Because it was used so much I could smell the plastic burning and every time I used it I was paranoid about the electricity bill. An electric radiator was left here so I decided to use it to see if it would work better and it sure as shit did. They take a little more time to heat up but once it does it'll keep the whole room warm. The first time I used it I turned it to the max setting (also had my little $13 Walmart Honeywell fan on to help spread the heat faster), it was so hot in there that I had to keep turning it down. They are also suppose to be less on electricity, they draw less power, they won't burn out and are less likely to cause an electrical fire (unlike ceramic heaters), they last a long time and they're cheaper than ceramic heaters.

I would also suggest putting plastic over your windows (plastic rolls can be found at Walmart or Home Depot and make sure you get tape and a tape gun) and putting a rolled up towel, rug or blanket in front of your door. My mom that when I was growing up. I didn't noticed how much of a different it made until I was in my own place. I was like why the F is it so cold in here even though the heat is on. Then I realized it was because of the windows and door not being covered. I tried "plasticizing" them myself but couldn't get it right so I asked my mom to help since she's a master at it. It made a huge difference and now I make sure to put plastic up during the winter all the time or to just leave it and roll it up under the curtain when spring comes.

You also may want to implement more clothes. I know there are some ladies and customers who aren't a fan of camgirls wearing regular clothes on cam but I personally enjoy it. Wearing regular clothes (v-neck long sleeves, tank tops, long sleeve scoop-necks, low cut sweaters, leggings, fake leather pants, tight jeans, short shorts/skirts, bodycon dresses, etc. Pretty much anything that is revealing and shows off your body.) keeps me warm, it makes it easier for me to get on cam, I get to be stingy on what I allow guys to see, it sets me a part because guys are use to going into rooms and seeing lingerie and what not, there are tons of guys who actually like seeing what we look like in everyday life and last but not least I'm able to milk guys of more money when they go pvt because I can drag out the show by teasing them in my clothes and then slowly taking them off.

Sidenote: There was an old thread that had the same question. It had alot of great tips so I requested for the threads to be merged. Only mentioning this so that the tips in the beginning of the thread won't be missed.
