If the interest is purely keeping the peace, then you wouldn't mind shooting me a PM telling me which one it is?

I'd be interested in the article too. I'm a fashion journalism major so I'd love to read it. The fashion industry has such a love (stripper shoes in new gaultier collection, obsession with sex worker celebs)/ hate (multiple cases of slut shaming, anna wintour in general) relationship with the sex industry.

From what I recall one was named a "sex worker"...She was labeled a prostitute, and the other was named a high end mistress and was labeled an exotic dancer. This was in a very popular fashion magazine..The fact that they differentiated between the prostitute and the exotic dancer and put them on two separate pages was my point..A bit confusing yet good at the same time imho.

Well it sounds interesting.

Definitely. It would be nice to read and see how they make such a distinction. Kinda need to know the name of the magazine for that though. As I asked before, PM me?

Was it Glamour? That magazine always runs stripping articles. I found this sideshow on their website: . Then I see this quote: "Women spend money on shoes; guys spend money on girls! We have sports, girls, good food—what more could a guy want?”

Wow talk about stereotypes. So men can go to strip clubs while women buy shoes? Not in my world. Even though I was a stripper I wouldn't approve of a serious boyfriend or husband buying a lap dance and probably not going to a club at all. Sorry, but I would have issues. Second, I couldn't care less about shoes and would rather see a naked man than a pair of shoes.

^^Lol!!! No it wasnt Glamour...Most mags' portrayal of 'strippers' a term I hate, is so negative...Seen negative comments in Cosmo and therefore barely ever get that mag..
