Young Adult. I read the script then watched the film a few hours later and enjoyed it a lot, but it's probably not for everyone.
Funnily enough I think many strippers would relate to it in a way. (and it was written by Diablo Cody, ex stripper. hah) It kind of has to do with letting go of youth, funny but also dark...

Ohh right lol Yes Recommend.! lol
Ohh and yes he married the girl from this movie in real life. I know don't you hate her! lol But they do make a cute couple so I'm happy:)

Prometheus.
Meh. If you like Sci Fi you will love the stunning visuals. As for Ridley Scott, this sure did not seem like one of his films. The foreshadowing was so blatant............ You knew what was coming in the next scene or two. The sub plots weren't his usual and intertwined.
This was a prequel. I am not sure if it was a prequel for Alien or a prequel for when before Ridley Scott became a better director.

Rock of Ages really disappointed me. I thought it was going to be almost historical about 80's rock but its just some stupid story about Julianne Hough and some forgettable actor set in the 80's with lots of 80's songs.
21 Jumpstreet- hilarious. Mostly penis humor.

I saw "Ted" and "The Amazing Spiderman" this week. I would not advise anyone go out of their way to see either.
Regarding "Ted", they did an amazing job making the teddy bear look and act alive. The movie just wasn't as funny as I was led to believe it would be.
"Amazing Spiderman" was a typical comic book movie, nothing special.

Prometheus, from Ridley Scott (Alien etc) - not as scarey or innovative as the Aliens series, and the depiction of the genetics thing is just completely unrealistic, but still for Sci-Fi not bad.
Magic Mike -- just stupid (wasted my time but you might not)
Search -- better than I thought then when I first heard of it (but I had to get out of this heat); I didn't like the last two minutes because that would not be the way the world ends - much better effects needed. Touching in some ways; shows a different side of Steve Correl's acting.
Latest...
Ted, I suppose some would say it's a cute fantasy, esp that Ted character with its crudities, but I found it silly and pretty gross at times.
Not a very good season for movies, even to avoid the heat.

The Amazing Spiderman- Not bad. Effects were great, Emma Stone wonderful as always. Hmm...Andrew Garfield. He's cuter than Tobey Magire(sp?), but I think tried way too hard to play the nerdiness of Peter Parker.
Magic Mike- Light and fun as I expected but super awesome dancing from Channing Tatum.
For some reason i decided to watch the latest Hellraiser movie on netflix, i watched the early ones when i was little and they were scary as fuck. It was fucking horrible. I wanted to buy the DVD just so i could poop on it and send it back to the director but that would be a waste of perfectly good poop.

Majic Mike. And yeah baby, I'd recommend it over and over again. WHOOT! The acting wasn't all that great, but again... all the women who filled up that theater didn't go there to see the acting and neither did me or my friends hehe.
Channing Tatum actually started his career off as a stripper (there are youtube videos) so it was a nice pleasant surprise to see it in big screen action.

Magic Mike was actually pretty decent. I'm hesatant about the Amazing Spider-Man, though Spidey 3 kinda ruined it for me. Eagerly anticipating The Dark Knight Rises.

Somehow I thought Magic Mike would have a lot more babes in it (from the synopsis I read). I was mostly turned off by the drug dealer scenes, and that's exactly when I left.
Finally caught Iron Sky... it was just ok. Not as horrible as it could have been and way better than it had any right to be going by their shoestring budget. But it was clearly not a "holliwood" quality level so it felt a bit amateurish.

Battleship...The story line was on the weak side but got to see Alexander Skaasgard ooh and Rhianna was in it too. I kept hoping she would sing but I think she only hummed a tune at one point.
Still the main actor was cute and had nice abs:) There were some funny moments but I wasn't really all that taken with it. Men in Uniform?? Umm yes.. I liked that. Blowing shit up?? Yes that was good too. Aliens? Yes.
Recommend? If you are bored and want to watch something? Ok.

^ I love Jason Statham.....I'll have to see that. I wanna see him make a drama or I think he'd be a good psycho in a scary movie.
