Yes the fees are absolutely outrageous. I had to tip out $380 one night, no lie. I had made about $2000 that night but still $380 is insane. I worked there for about 2 months when I first moved to the bay area and hated it. Management is really really sweet and the house moms are ok but the girls are really catty, and the main DJ is a tool. I ended up going over to Hustler and am liking it way better so far. There is definite money to be made at Gold Club but it just wasn't worth it to me.

Yeah, the cut they take for champagne rooms sucks but most people buying a CR will tip you enough to make up for it. The cut really is not higher than other clubs, it's like 20% of the flat rate. If you factor in the single dances and tips you make which are not cut into at all then the cut you are giving to the club is quite small.
LOL, which DJ is a tool? The bald manager seems like a dick.

Have you guys tried Roaring 20's, Garden of Eden or any of the other nude clubs up there? Is Hustler any stricter when it came to hiring?

The bald manager is a total dick! Craig or whatever his name is. And I was constantly having problems with DJ John. Couldn't stand him!>:(
I have never tried any of the nude clubs up here, I walked into Centerfolds on a Tuesday night as a customer just to check it out but didn't stay around long because theres no alcohol and the girls were not friendly at all.
I got hired at Gold Club and Hustler pretty easy with no scheduling restrictions so I don't know how much more or less strict they are. I know they girl some girls restrictions on their schedule like can only work mon-tues-wed or only day shift. I have a fair amount of tattoos though and neither place seemed to care. I heard that Gold Club recently cleaned house and let go of a bunch of girls though.
The tip outs are as follows from best I can remember:
If you arrive before 7pm- no house
Before 8pm- it's $20
Before 9pm- $40
After 9pm- $60
PLUS
They take $12 from every 2 for $60
$20 from every 3 for $100
They retain $100 from every 1/2 hour champagne room PLUS charge you $40 at the end of the night per half hour
They retain like $200something from every hour PLUS charge you $160-200 at the end of the night
So basically your customer gets charged $700 for a champagne room for an hour and you'll walk with $400 from it which will then get further wittled down if your customer paid with a credit card and you have to cash in your "gold dollars" where they'll take another 15% then your "dance fees" at the end of the night.
You also get charged $50 for every no show if you don't show up for a shift you put yourself on schedule for.
Like I said the club has great earning potential, I made $2000 one night and had a few $1000+ nights but the cattiness of the girls and other stuff about the club was just wearing me down so I was barely making anything my last week there. $100 nights if I was lucky so it was time to peddle my wares elsewhere and I've already got my swing back at Hustler. Both places are worthy of trying. Gold Club just wasn't my cup of tea. It seems like they are trying to be a mega club like Vegas with 40+ girls signed in on slow weeknights like Tuesdays but not nearly enough customers to go around causing tension between the girls and and high pressure stressful vibe.
Hope that helps.

when I was there my house was always $5 and the dance tracker would always forget half of my dances. so if I made $1000 I usually paid less than $100 to the house. $400 is usually what I got for an hr after the fees. the hosts here are really helpful. hustler took more $ but I haven't worked there in forever and I didnt stay long cuz I made more at gold in less time.

I just wanna go work at cheetahs San Jose again , I just don't wanna drive up there only to have to wait a week to be put on schedule there after I audition. They might just throw me on there to work asap. I miss that place. If it doesn't pan out I'll be going to SF to make up for it :/

I just moved up here to the Bay area and have only worked in SF so far. How would you compare San Jose to SF? Is San Jose all owned by Deja Vu like the city?

I liked Sunnyvale but then again I only worked there at that one club many years ago so I can't really compare it to anything else. From what I've heard about SF, it sounds like it might be busier but alot of extras are expected by the customers? I guess I'll find out if & when I work up there. What club are you currently at Joibrad? No none of the clubs are owned by any Deja Vu (that I know of)

what are the fees at Hustler? Do they require a schedule?

I've only worked there about a week now. They do require a schedule, all the clubs besides some seedy nude clubs make you have a minimum 3 day a week schedule but Hustler seems more flexible. The tip outs are also very similar to Gold Club but they max out at $200.
