Oh yeah! Thank you! Would I get paid next week if she does it?
If the change is made this week then your earnings should be paid out next week. I think it's gonna come down to when it's done. But please don't hold me to that. ♥️

Hi! I am thinking to start working in the webcamming industry.
I have a few questions for You girls. <3 Please help <3
Sending a copy of ID is it a normal part of registration on websites as a cam girl? Is it safe? I see in websites like or I have to send them a copy of my ID and I am a little bit afraid.
Are You not afraid that Your friends, colleagues from work, school etc or members of the family like uncles, cousins, father recognise You in the Web during your webcamming work?
How You protect yourself not to be recognized? Wearing a wig, glasses? What else? I really don't want to be recognized.
And I don't want somebody to discover what I am doing. Do You have an experience that You got a letter to your home address from the webcamming website because of charges back or some other things?
I want to start webcamming with writing a message with the guys. Which websites do You recommend? How much I can earn like that working 2-4 hours a day?
How You protect yourself from chargebacks. I don't want to work, get paid and then give the money back... There is some trick You can protect Yourself from that or some good websites where they protect You from that?
I will be very grateful for the answers <3 <3

Good afternoon, please start at the beginning of this thread and work your way through. Many of these questions have been asked and answered right here. You can also search Stripperweb by using Google.
For example type in: Stripperweb + Camming+ chargebacks or Stripperweb + Camming + Showing face etc
When you do this all the threads for that topic will appear. Doing this is much faster and prevents us from having to say the same things over and over. Good luck.

Hey everyone!
First off I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this .. I always seem to post on the wrong thread.. lol
So sorry if this ends up being redundant. So I'm back to camming to not sink in this blackout. The last time I worked cam/PSO work has to be over 10 years ago. I remember I think it was IFriends. The format for tipping/making money in my opinion at that time was fun. Point is I'm vaguely familiar with how to make money.
Anyways so im currently working at CamSoda. It will be my first week Thursday or Friday. So far I'm loving it... it blows my mind how many different ways you can make money on there! I've had really decent shifts in 3 hrs to make me feel hopefull and optimistic about another source of income.
So my question is if its inappropriate to sit in a models room who has a lot of traffic consistently and see what her "style' is? I dont know If that's weird? I'm not trying to copy anyone. I want to see what other successful models are doing in their room... does she get naked, does she play with her toys? shit like that. I'm trying to be successful too.
I was thinking that if I'm in someone's room more then 10 mins I should give them some tokens. Plus I find women beautiful physically so i feel like I'm admiring someone.
What do you think?

It's not always a good idea to hang out in other cammers spaces. Especially not under your performer name. Most models that work on sites where this is allowed will disable this option so other cammers cannot come in. It can be distracting and just plain annoying. You can always watch from outside. If you feel like hooking her up then do so from a customer account and try not to bring too much attention to yourself by announcing that you're a model. That might throw them off their game. Some models are okay with it but I'm pretty sure most are not.
ETA When I say watch from the outside I mean from a logged out account if you just want to lurk.

Depends on who you’re watching. I think the general consensus on courtesy of being in another model’s room is to not distract them from customers. post your name/ links publicly in chat, or message any members. Some ppl will be totally cool with you hanging in their room, and others won’t. I don’t recommend spending too much time doing it though. I think it’s super fun to have other models hanging, but I have a bff who says it makes her feel awkward and self conscious even when it’s just me lol
Also YAY CamSoda! I’m recently starting there to branch out a bit from my little Streamate hole, and the features are amazing

In my *personal opinion* CamSoda technically has more traffic than Streamate but I make more on SM either because the regular traffic on SM is trained to pay, or just because I’ve been up there for so long. I would honestly recommend SM to anyone. I love that I can log on and make consistent $ but I want some variety to where I can stream. SM is kind of like if CS was mostly ticket shows and privates. I hope I explained that okay

Personally looking at my earning breakdown by site SM is consistently the best site for me - but it really cannot be stressed enough just how individual this all is, I knos girls who struggled to make anything off SM - then I also know girls who’re exclusively on SM
Your best bet is to just try it, bare in mind there’s a lot of new models atm so there’s much fiercer competition even for new girls (that’s something else you get a boost in traffic when you start on SM, I don’t remember how long for maybe two weeks? So it’s best to take full advantage of that and work as much as you can)

I did camming a lot in 2015 however it got to the point where guys would video me and then put me on pornhub and other sites without my permission. They would find out my real name and it got really upsetting to say the least
Is there a camming site where they are not allowed to video record you?

Even if there was, with all the sites from so many countries uploading stolen content, it's impossible to enforce. The internet is forever.

this
plenty of sites where they're not meant to - but they can easily screen record - and while you can file takedown notices theres no guarantee it wont just get posted again or elsewhere or even that the site will comply
it is unfortanutely a hazard with this work

I have my own big apartment, but due to the corona virus I’m stuck with my family 2000 km away. The borders are closed and flights cancelled. I love them of course, but I can’t earn any money here. Yesterday I made 10$ and today only 1$ lol. They are all at home 0-24, very loud, calling me the whole time and wanting to come in my room, brothers playing PS online and surfing makes my internet break all the time. Today really sucked :( I had only 4-5 people in my rooms (CB and MFC at the same time) and nobody tipped me. I also have to do my makeup secretly in my room so that they don't ask what I'm doing and wipe if off before I leave the room, which makes the whole thing even more stressful.
I tried selling nudes, but since I don’t have any fans nobody buys them of course, so first I have to go on cam (i'm a stripper, new in online sw).
Anyone else in this problems due to quarantine? How are you handling it? You have any advice? :)

Here is a thread on how to Soundproof you apartment. https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?173887-Soundproofing-How-To-Keep-The-Noise-Down
Other than that I would tell them that you have an online job like transcription for a medical company or a call center. Remind them that they're guest in your home and you need them to be quiet and stay off the internet while you work. You can also call your internet provider and see if you can upgrade it so that it can handle more activity.

I can't soundproof the house or tell them not to use internet, it's their house. It would be better if you left the thread as new, as it is general question, not only for new girls :/

it might be worth doing phone & clips? you can make money doing clips on all the clip sites without a following, nudes I feel is harder to make money with unless you're known

My mistake, I thought you were saying that your family was staying with you in your big apartment. Did you take a look at the soundproofing thread? There's all kinds of tips on how to muffle sounds. From using a fan, a radio and rugs. You will have to figure it out. It sounds like you're in a very tough situation that may not be suitable for camming right now. But if you still want to give it a try then read up on the Chaturbate thread and ask questions there.
If you want to learn how to sell nude content then please read through those threads about that topic. Here's one:

I understand that it can be frustrating when you have bills to pay but camming is not a get rich quick kind of thing. There are more people than ever out of work due to the pandemic and more girls than ever online (ALL areas of sex work have turned to online now). Do the math.

One trick I often used, was purchasing something inciting, could be takeout or some good food that would only be during occasions. *Grandpa upstairs* "I brought home double fudge chocolate cake!" he would fly downstairs.
"Granny let me do a foot soak for you and paint your toe nails." *Stuck in the chair*
Hell, tell the kid there are Easter eggs hidden outside and one of them holds a PS gift card and If he stops to ask for hints he loses the game. Don't have a backyard? "Its across the street."
Whatever the Family might be drawn to, that could get them away for a few minutes, just be ready to rush on cam. Time how fast it takes you to prepare your stream and make it happen.
Make just enough money that you can rent a hotel room for a day or two, tell them you need to go on a business trip or staying with a friend. (And repeat)

Getting followers before you start camming is kind of a dead end road. when you are on cam, promote your social media and people will follow. Social media is equal parts promotion and being human. nobody wants to follow or interact with someone when all they have are links. post your thoughts, be active, and be diligent. it will not happen overnight, trust me!

You need to advertise yourself, similar as you would selling a product.
Everything you do online, requires quality and strict discipline.
Simply liking, retweeting and opening accounts is not going to bring followers or create a steady fan base.
This helps when you've already established a fan base and have a history or trail of content prior to opening an account.
I recommend watching very closely other performers on various sites, learn how to pull in clients, how those clients react.
Read everything you possibly can on this forum and all the advice it offers, even if it does not pertain to your situation.
SELL, SELL SELL!! Put your face out there, learn how to master your charm.
What makes you unique out of the 2,000 models on that site? Brand your name.
Simply getting on cam is not a guarantee for creating a fan base.
It takes time, investment and learning how to sell, as you would in retail.
Think of something you purchase, that you enjoy and have made a staple product.
Why do you buy it? What makes it unique from other similar products? How do they advertise that product?
(Apply that to being a model)

You explained it perfectly. I'm still on camsoda and I really like it. I wish it was busier for me. I've been playing around with light and i just found HP 9200 webcam so hopefully with those improvements things will get better. I decided to try BongaCams instead of SM....its been 3 days but I hate it. The main thing i dont like is not enough English speaking guys. Im most likely going to keep CM and try out SM next week.

Think of it this way:
1 - What sort of things are you going to do in private/exclusive? What's your best asset or skill?
2 - If you were a horny dude, what headline would make you click?

Hi I am on a steep learning curve at the moment, I am just wondering is it possible to sit in two different platforms at the same time how do I do that?
One of the platforms I'm registered with uses JCI only, the other has a choice between browser based camming facility and JCI.
Can I be available on both at the same time, and do I need separate equipment?

do you mean bs and aw? :) yes you can so long as you're not trying to log into two lots of JCI with the SAME id ie multi accounts, you must put your aw details in one and bs in the other. You'll need a splitcam program like verysoft, manycam or obs, or use two webcams.

I downloaded the verysoft webcam splitter, can't open it, can't uninstall it - I get a message saying it's in use when I try to do either but I cannot see it? I have looked for contact details on the verysoft site but cannot find it, and they don't accept messages on their twitter account which looks inactive.

press ctrl+alt+delete and close verysoft from the task manager. Then open it up again. It doesn't throw up a window but if you go down to your task bar next to where the icons for power etc are you'll see a little icon for verysoft. Right click on it and you can choose which cam to use with it, then open settings and make any adjustments. Then when you're ready go into the justcamit log in for whichever site first and select verysoft as your camera source, then do the same for the other site :) the paid version gives more options and removes the logo but free lets you try it out first.
BS is babestation, i assumed since you're using JCI it would be Adultwork and babestation you're talking about.

Here's a link to the contest leaderboard
https://www.streamatemodels.com/contest/
It tells you general information on how your rankings are determined.
Ranking is determined by the amount members spend on you during the event (excluding Video sales, Fan Club subscriptions, Cammodel earnings, and Partner Site earnings, which do not count towards your ranking). After the event, we'll verify all rankings. Performers with any fraudulent earnings will be disqualified, and may have their account suspended or closed. Rewards will be added to your earnings within a week after the contest is over and will be paid on your regular payment schedule

I would say try not to focus on the amount of money you should be making. There is no magic number or really even an expectation. Everyone makes different amounts. There is less consistency when you're starting out, so try to focus on getting attention and building relationships instead. Theres a great thread out there that outlines how to use twitter to boost your traffic. The more attention you gain and the more you put your face out there, the more likely it is that you'll come in contact with a customer that really really likes you and wants to dump money on you. Good luck out there! Hope you get that bag!

New cam girl update
so far so good. I’m not making a lot, but I’m also making money in the comfort and safety of my own home. Once I’m in a better financial situation-more cash-I might invest in improvements but for now it’s working.
Anyways thanks to the other cam girls that helped me.
To you newbies just get the fuck on. Once you get going it gets easier. Logging on is the hardest part. No it doesn’t really matter if you look like a super model. I gained a lot of weight-closed gyms and alcohol-I found something flattering. Just do the best you can with what you have and get the fuck on new cam girls.

Dear ladies,
I’m a bit late to the party and I have a couple of questions.
I’m a European foreign national living in Japan. I wonder if signing up for adult content would get me in trouble with immigration. I do have a legal long term visa. Do they have a way of finding out? Another thing is my main job plans to relocate me to US in the future. Again I’m worried about background search and immigration from US finding out that I post adult content on Onlyfans.
If this is a risky route, I may stick to posting bikini pictures and non adult content. Is nudity considered as adult content? Can you touch yourself in videos, let’s say can you perform a sexy strip tease show with your lingerie on and stroke your thighs, breasts etc? I’m not sure where they draw the line.
FYI I will cover my eyes on my videos / pictures.
Many thanks

You need to talk to an Immigration attorney if it’s that big of deal you’ll lose your papers.
Legally in the US if your not doing anything illegal it’s not a problem. Camming is legal. Make sure you pay your taxes cause that’s the only thing they care about. Again, I’m not a lawyer, but as far as I know it’s not a problem here. I don’t about Japan or anywhere else.
Now the court of public opinion is completely different. It might be legal, but if I was outed I’d probably never get a good job again.

So I am working for SM, I know they own the feed and all that jazz. But why if I'm online doing a show and you google my SM name I am live on like 20 other sites. Sites like bbw webcams, amateur webcams, ebony webcams. I am so confused. We don't get any money from those sites right? And I'm not split camming. Is hat supposed to happen? And since it does am I still geoblocked from my area on those other sites running live stream?
It’s actually better money wise, but not privacy wise to get more exposure. I noticed when I was on pornhub and I clicked on the webcams and I was like, “hey I work there!“
I’ve kissed my privacy goodbye. Honestly, I don’t care anymore
Actually the reason I stopped by was to tell newbies. Start small when ordering dildos. I ordered this huge dildo and guys want me to deep throat the whole thing or put the whole thing in my ass-not happening. I’ve since started ordering smaller toys.

I use larger toys all around, but have specific ones for certain acts. And always try to buy body safe. For bjs, the dildos I use aren’t as firm thus causing less problems. If any guy gives me crap I remind them that it isn’t a real dick, go with it. I am lucky to have a pretty large collection and often repurchase the same ones over and over again because I know how they perform. Buying online is a crapshoot, take a close look at the measurements, I have some where I overlooked the width and these beautiful/realistic dicks are unusable!
to the older post that you responded to, those are white labels, they bring us traffic. If you geoblock you shouldn’t be visible on a white label, but geoblock isn’t perfect.

Hello. I work an hourly wage job full-time currently. Pay is decent but no health insurance or benefits. I am paying for TMJ issues with Care Credit.
However, I do not like debt hanging over my head and want to pay it off ASAP. I cam infrequently and it is usually a couple hours before I get enough people in my room to actually have tippers.
If I created a new account to attract fresh regulars and logged in consistently around the same each day, do you think it is possible to make a decent income? My goal is to average out to at least $50 a day.
I plan on starting on a weekend because I know they are busier and weekends I plan on camming 8 hours a day if I can. I suppose all I can do is try and find out for myself. I was wondering if anyone has advice though? And tips on being the best cam girl I can be/attracting the most amount of attention in the shortest amount of time possible?

Hey folks, new cam girl here ^_^ One thing I've been wondering about is stuff like how much to show or otherwise before the tips have started, how much to charge, etc?

This all depends greatly on what site you're on. I'd look through the forum, find some sites that sound like they suit your needs, and then go from there. Different models charge different amounts and it depends on what you're comfortable with/the site you're using; freemium (aka a token site) or a Pay per minute site. Don't undersell yourself, especially in the beginning. you'll attract the kinds of people you want as regulars this way.
