Well I'm glad everyone here is mobile enough to cam & makes enough.

I would NEVER cam in an AB&B. There is no way I'm letting my hosts hear me talking about his cock & moaning if I cum LOL

Plus I didn't think you could get strong enough Internet if you weren't wired in which is what I am.

I'll check out this though. Thanks :) getkarma.com

You can rent the flat all to yourself. You dont have to have a shared flat. I dont even look at shared flats or rooms anymore. Im way to spoiled for that. I am renting the whole place or boat and done!

Also internet here in Spain and Italy is LTE and works really well. I get 100gb for 30 euros and its fast enough to run the SM broadcaster. I cant find it in Germany at 4G only 3G but Im sure if your near Berlin or Frankfurt you can get it as well and I know England has got 4G now so Internet in Europe is getting better and it super well priced (especially compared to America!)

^ Has anyone else tried getkarma??? I looked at the reviews & it has mostly shitty reviews, which sux bc i was srsly looking into getting it next month after my temp housing situation. They also redid their data plans as of 2016 bc so many ppl were "overusing" the data. So it's much more than $50 now sadly blah :(

I have,as mentioned before. I love it! Clear stream, always stayed connected.
Just make sure it's available in the area you'll be using it from. ( Zip code check first)

I felt that way too, until I found myself homeless, living on the street.
Airbnb was my salvation.
I got lucky that it was a separate guesthouse in back of the main house.
I've always used wifi, so no problems there. It went out twice, but the owner reset the modem for me.
I was the perfect guest. Quiet, clean.
So much so, that the owner rented a room in his house for me for an entire month, at a discounted price.
There was a tenant in the adjoining room, who, if he heard anything, never said. I was camming at 4 am, most of the morning too.
I got glowing reviews from the owner, and even found a apt a few blocks away.
He and I run into each other, and still talk.
If I was renting from a woman, or had women neighbors, it might have been different.
Every woman landlord has been nosy, jealous, and viscious.
So, ymmv

Which data plan do you use or used? I know they changed it in the last year or so from $50 unlimited ;(

Yeh females can be terrible a lot of the time :(

Well I'm HAPPY you found a home. Being homeless is NOT fun, been there, done that, it also costs a fortune too :(

I don't know how you can be quiet when camming LOL I have music playing too, so maybe that's it.

And AB&B is expensive IMO. In Vegas it was even more expensive than some hotels. I'm trying to remember if it was a better deal in Miami. Can't remember.

Dont be scared to cam in airbnb... my airbnb two week rental turned into a monthly short term rental is a legit like the tv 'full house" or "family matters" . The house is busy but i have learned everyones schedule . . and i made playing music a normal thing. I even played music through the night to "test" if it was a bother. I also noticed that even with me somewhat whispering its still sounds pretty loud to the customers.. I'm just not soo animated with the moaning and keep the dirty talk to a minimum ... you can get a headset or even iphone headphones with mini mic would work during privates ...

i would have rented a whole house but my area had very few to choose from .

Not sure that the cell connection will be strong enough to stream seamlessly (but I could be wrong). It also drains your battery faster. I suggest getting a mobile hot spot like my fav Verizon's Mobile Hotspot brands. I moved a lot when I was with my military ex and anytime I needed to wait for a cable set up, I'd use the mifi mobile hot spot.

I streamed on SM for a few hours a day and I think the upload speed was 3mbps(4G LTE Speeds), which isn't amazing; but it gets the job done and I had no lagging or complaints. Clear stream the whole time. You can use it anywhere there is Verizon coverage. The only issue I had was that it eats a lot of data when you stream (obviously) so you might be paying $300 to refill it for say 1 week or less if you can't stretch out your data. I say streaming 2-3 hours per day is probably max or you'll eat through it fast.

If you're going to be in Europe I've heard good things about the pocket wifi called My Webspot. They deliver it to you, you use it, travel with it, and return it before you leave. They have them in Europe only.

If you can, I suggest staying in airbnbs and ones that have strong internet connections. Before I stay in any rentals, I make sure the host has high speed net and they will answer any question you have before booking. Most will say so in the ad.

Just in case, bring your back up (mobile wifi). Just make sure you're okay with shelling out $200-300 for the product and the data. There's nothing really unlimited out there (I think sprint has something?) so once you run out of data, you'll have to add more- but it def works with cam.

This one has great reviews and can be used internationally/globally. https://www.verizonwireless.com/internet-devices/verizon-mifi-4g-lte-global-usb-modem-u620l/

This has an unlimited plan, but it's 4G speeds up to 10G and then it drops to 3G speeds after. Or- anywhere from 5 Mbps-12 Mbps download speeds and 2 Mbps-5 Mbps upload speeds. So decent for cam and unlimited depending on the plan you want.

ty for all the info!!!!

The airbnb usually has wifi. Or if you're lucky, you'll have the modem in your room/apt/house.
I have used my phone (tethering) from a hotel, and when the internet went out at the airbnb. It was ok. lower speeds, and lots of disconnects, for sure, but doable.
Hope that helps.

can i ask what provider you used? i have a nerd friend telling me that tethering will be more than i need as long as the data is uncapped/truely unlimited

Did yours ever get capped or to the point where you couldn't cam anymore until the next billing cycle with the unlimited plan? My new place has 0.85-89 mbps upload & Im doubtful i can stream successfully on that ;( I have metro also but not the unlimited deal just the 40.00 plan so I have like 3GB to work with if I tether lol.

Ouch you are going to struggle girl. I live in a mobile home and get through 1GB an hour using the encoder (never attempted to time it using just their dashboard) and it eats through my limited data like crazy on a monthly basis (to the tune of $400-$600 a month), however I do get fantastic speeds when it's all working properly 5-10Mbps upload and I do great earnings/placement wise. You can only try but I've found I need a minimum of 6-7Mbps upload to stream crisply without lag (your speed is 0.85% of 1Mbps). As I said you are going to struggle if you don't want to pay out the ass!

PGD's suggestions seem great though I'm going to look into them myself to see if I can cut down my extortionate internet bill every month... thanks PGD!

i cant find it ?? what was PGD's suggestion.

but ty knowing how many GB's the encoder uses is super helpful.

I tried using boost/sprint because it was truly unlimited but the speeds were crap. I'm not sure if its just the area im in or something.

and then looking at tmobile they say its "unlimited" but after you use up 32gb they will slow down your speeds......i did use it awhile ago when they were my carrier but it was only for a day when my internet was down. I would go through the 32GB in like a week or less.

also yourkarma says they run on sprints network so i am nervous to try them because it seems like they don't cover this area well :/

im gonna keep researching.....i feel like its 2017 lol we should be able to get decent speeds on the go without paying a ton.
if anyone finds out anything please post. if not ill keep this thread updated on my findings.

Thank you! But keep in mind those last two suggestions for using a usb adapter or extended router don't provide internet on its own. They aren't hotspots but more like an antennae for one and the other the extended router gives you a smoother stream because you can use an ethernet cable to plug into it. We use both at my house because my camroom is detached from the rest of the house. My usb adapter helps keep my signal clear and connected.

if someones looking for a "router extender" or whatever i don't know the official name for it..check with your cable provider. i used to have spectrum and when i told them i wasn't getting wifi in my whole house they gave me two of those boxes to go on each end of the house with the normal router in the middle free of charge. (you also could plug ethernet into them which i wish i knew awhile ago because i had a giant ethernet cord running thru my house for years at one point lol) not sure what other companies do this.

Thats what an extender is. Each company if they provide those may call them something else. Not all provide them and when they do they charge a per month fee. It adds up to a lot of money. Its best to go out and buy your own. Just depends on who you're with. Ours cost $25 to own.

oh mine they never charged a fee for, im sure its different for diff. companies tho. thinking back they might of just gave them to me to shut me up because i was having a tech guy come out almost weekly when my speeds would fluctuate heavily or drop off lol.

^ I never use the encoder on SM & I've halways had 1st page placement same with my other sites. My data plan is prepaid from my phone so if anything I'll be out maybe 0 bux after upgrading my plan to unlimited so I'll get at least 8 GB before getting slower speeds. The other things PGD suggested are great & all but as i said, I'm on a budget, not trying to spend tons of money on data if I'm not even camming that much.

Has anyone successfully cammed long term living in an RV?

I'm currently saving up to do some traveling in a class B or C RV for the next year or two. I'll be in urban areas and smaller towns the majority of the time.

I've looked into getting a special satellite dish (it seems super expensive) to get high speed internet and the possibility of using and expander and antennae as well.

What about sound? I don't want to disturb others outside the RV etc. Tips for creating a space to cam in?

I'll be escorting and stripping as well but I want to keep camming and making and selling content too! If camming in an RV isn't realistic, then I'll just cam from hotel in calls but that limits how many days a week I will be able to cam...

yup, me too. However the video Kalin posted was by far superior and in depth. They went from RV to boat and have been computer programming nomads for a very long time. They have a whole website, lots more detail and a book they continually update. Check it out.

I live in a caravan/mobile home and do just fine my internet speed is fantastic and I can splitcam with ease because I have a powerful gaming laptop. UK companies recently created wifi routers that don't require phone lines so you just plug it into the outlet and away you go, they can be hardwired by Ethernet cable too. It's not unlimited and can get expensive but it's worth it for me.

Since I got one of them I can cam at the same speed as I would be able to if I had a phone line. Wonderful invention.

Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place!
This is probably a weird question and I'm not sure if anyone will have an answer. I'm a US citizen wanting to move to the UK. I'm going to be continuing work as a webcam girl and I'm not sure how exactly to go about it. Do I need a work visa to continue camming in the UK while awaiting the ability to be able to become a permanent citizen? I can't find any answers on what Visa to get (none of the work visas quite fit) and I'm not sure if I would need one. If you're able to help me with this, thank you!

I'm hoping to simply travel the world from next year and I want the US to be my first stop. I want to live in San Francisco, Seattle and New York city while I'm there.
Any general advice would be appreciated. Advice on driving and transport, housing, health, culture etc...

I've managed to do this using hotspot on my iphone to connect to my laptop. Used mainly chaturbate but a bit of AW.

Tried in Paris and the room in the hotel was crap, even got upgraded to a suite and internet still wouldn't work, so gave up stressed and annoyed.

If anyone wants to rent my place in Florida just pm me, it's got decent WIFI and computer with high speed internet! Had zero problems camming there, even when lying around the pool in the sun lmao ;)

You ladies wishing to move from the US to the UK will most likely have to find, become engaged to and or marry someone from the UK in order to move there. Yes, it's dramatic, but unless you have $300-500k sitting around in savings for a entrepreneur's visa, or are being sponsored by a corporation on work visa; it's not gonna happen.

What you can do (though it's sort of iiiegal, but we still do it) is travel cam there. Depending on the stamp you get on your passport with the treaty you should be able to stay 3-6 months tops without a visa. And during that time of vacationing you could rent vacation rentals or a hotel where you can privately 'work'. There are loopholes to get around, like having a round trip refundable ticket (so you can change dates), and getting paid, etc.

You can always visit for a few weeks every yr, meet a guy, and date him. Eventually, progress to an engagement and move to the UK on your fiance's visa. Outside of marriage, top skilled persons, athletes/entertainers, company sponsorship/outsourcing, and Doctors, entrepreneurs, and teaching our treaty doesn't allow us to move to the UK at will. And most positions only call for US persons if no one in the UK can fill the position.

Im seriously considering a move to Portugal in the next year or two because of the low low low tax rate there. I keep thinking of how much I will save a year in taxes but Im nervous because it will mean I have to learn Portuguese and in the last 10ish years I have had to learn Italian and then Spanish (castellano) and Im wondering if Im too old now to learn an entirely new language.

Have any of you made the move to Portugal? Any advise? Anyone else been thinking of moving to Portugal?? Obviously if your american this wont apply because you still need to pay taxes to America or drop your citizenship but for the rest of us 5% taxes a year is very tempting!

If you have residency and work permit for Portugal, you're exempt from a very large amount of US taxes...up to $100,000ish now I believe. You would just pay the Portuguese taxes on any amount under that without need to give up your citizenship. This only applies IF you are legally paying Portuguese taxes...just moving somewhere on a tourist visa and making money under the table does not get you the foreign exemption, you would owe full US taxes then. There is no need to drop your US citizenship.

This worked out great for us in Ukraine when hubby was there. He paid Ukrainian flat tax ($40/month) on his "private entrepreneur license" consulting business, and was legally US tax free for that entire time so long as he kept it under the exemption amount. The drawback is that you're not paying FICA, so it resets the counter on your unemployment if you apply for it later and counts as a null year for Social Security contributions.

Note also that you still have to file a tax return even if you don't owe anything or bad things will happen later if you move back to the US. They'll just assume the gap meant you dodged taxes the entire time and send you a big bill.

I believe Gambia is also a Muslim country, so generally not a good environment for camming. I can't speak to the legalities or wifi quality there, but if you do it, use a VPN and proceed with caution.

I don't think I'd attempt camming unless it was over Skype/Discord. You could probably get away with texting and selling content. On the plus side, these places are super affordable, your money will go a long way.

Texas will be a breeze in comparison. I'd recommend renting an entire AirBnB, and asking the host before booking if they have high speed wifi. You don't need to worry about legal issues, just don't announce that you're working.

When travel camming, should I take an Ethernet cable to use instead of relying on WiFi?

I’m looking at heading back out to the states and camming a bit whilst I’m there, as I’ll be travelling alone. I’ll probably rent Airbnb’s for this purpose and because it’s normally a hell of a lot cheaper than using hotels.

Also, do the sites we use, eg SM, pick up that we’re logging in from a different country? I work on AW sometimes and I keep hearing of people who get their accounts temporarily disabled if they log in from another country without any prior notice.

I wouldn’t be planning on using AW, likely just SM probs, just using AW as an example.
