I've only been updating twice a month recently and hit $600 minimum. Did 10 a few months ago and didn't have the same margins on c4s, but got a ton of customs so I think I'll be upping it to weekly or twice weekly within the next couple months. I really need to start filming during my period week as I don't cam then, but I always get a case of the lazies and just want to cook and play WoW instead.

on c4s it's 10. if you go to their main page there are multiple new stores with only 10.

I meant the number of clips a store needs to have to start making a consistent revenue. Our new stores tend to break that mold but it has to do with the name recognition for our studios and the higher cost/difficulty of our content

I have 100 clips with daily updates (so increases by one a day) and I don't have a consistent revenue nor am I making the $150 minimum every month. My sales are definitely increasing the more that I put up, but it's still pretty much just double figures in $$s at the moment.

I think this depends on multiple factors. There definitely isn't a single one size fits all approach as different fetishes have vastly different studio saturation levels, demand, & level of production quality accepted within that fetish market. I mean if you set up a foot fetish studio & an underwater fetish studio, you can almost guarantee the underwater studio is going to be more profitable & have a substantially more consistent revenue before the 50 clip mark. Sure, the foot fetish studio will eventually probably be more profitable, but it will take forever to build up a following due to the over saturation in that market space.

While brand awareness plays a huge part as well, if you were to jump from having a studio whose main focus is feet to then creating a studio with a burping fetish focus, you're going to get VASTLY different numbers despite already having made a name for yourself in the foot fetish market space. The clientele carry over would probably be relatively minimal in that instance & you'd have to start from scratch.

If you are who I think you are, you're definitely far better versed in this than I, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. :p

I always take the opportunity to learn from other peoples experiences, and you are right about the types of content. Harder to shoot/More expensive content will make more money (well...usually), but also may not be more profitable than easier fetishes. Our superheroine content is very expensive to produce, and it needs to make a lot to be profitable. We have 19 stores and there are definitely different rules and patterns for the different fetish genres

Is your number based on different formats of a unique clip? Meaning for example, For each clip we put up a medium sized mp4, a large wmv and a small wmv,, but I still count it as one "clip"

What type of fetish are you shooting?

I had the same questions.

77 of those clips are unique.

Almost everything I do goes into the BBW category (whether main or sub, having just changed this from SSBBW as I suddenly realised I'm not big enough for that category outside the UK) with themes like eating, vore, vanilla (dildo, vibe etc), sph, and have just started doing pee ones. Oh yes, and have just got into teeth/mouth fetish. I have a lot more fetishes that I want to explore and play with yet, and I know that I haven't hit anywhere near my full fetish clip potential yet.

I think this the main reason you aren't hitting the numbers you should be. Unless you exclusively do things that are bbw specific (like eating, belly rubbing, weigh ins, ect.) you aren't going to attract the buyers you should be if you mark everything with a bbw main. If you do a SPH video, make sure that is the primary and have bbw be a secondary category. If you make a pee video, make pee your primary category with female desperation, desperation, and bbw as your secondaries. Attracting the right buyers is important & if they have a specific fetish, they probably aren't going to use the search function, but instead look at that specific fetish's category page. if you make the real fetish your secondary, you don't show up on that fetish's main category page which means unless they're using the search function they won't see your product at all.

If you want, you can send me your clip page and I'll see if anything else stands out. I'm a firm believer that everybody does better when everybody does better. :)

Posting and running for the mo, but yes, I already do this, as I said BBW is *either* main or sub category, I always choose the main category as whatever's the actual focus of the clip (ie: sph, or pee, or teeth/nouth etc) then BBW as secondary. :)
