I sure wish I could read this thread like normal, but the posts are looking really screwed up on my end. :(

I search for things in the search bar above and don't get hardly any results. But if I search in google and add "stripper web" to the search I get better results. I don't see anything wrong with answering the question even if it's been asked a billion times.

Nothing wrong with answering her question , if you read the thread from the beginning you will see that some girls replied nicely to her, but then when someone suggested that the best way is to use the search option and read , she didn't reply in a nice way. All of us were new at some point and these lovely ladies have been so kind and supportive but they don't have to take the piss.

Yep. There's the google method of searching that's stickied at the top of the CC forum, and there's my tutorial on how to search, which can sometimes yield more accurate results, because the search results there will display by date so you get more timely information up top.

There isn't anything wrong with answering the question.
There also isn't anything wrong with not answering the question too. ;)

Whoa, that's pretty ballsy admitting to not reading the more informative thread simply because "you don't want to." LOL.
Also, the percentage for AdultWork is actually 65%. 70% is what you get if you do pre-booked cam shows on there (like through Skype).

Why should anyone answer the question if the OP openly says she doesn't like to read?i don't help people who refuse to help themselves. If you work on MFC and don't understand what you make because you didn't read your contract i feel like anything i say would just be a waste of my time.

Well, I thought people were being kinda snippy with the girl by saying something about how people should look for the information first. I can totally understand her comment about not wanting to read. She probably has read, and there's so many sites out there she has no clue. She was probably put off by the comment, and came back with a snide remark. But it's not really that big of a deal, but as a person just sort of sitting out and reading, I thought it was kinda rude to her.
People go to forums all the time and just ask questions. Doesn't mean people have to help someone, but if you don't want to help them, just don't say anything. Or...just tell them how they can search, which some people did.

Honestly, it just doesn't make me want to answer or help anyone who says stuff like they don't wanna read and help themselves. I don't mean to harp but wow, sour taste in my mouth.
ANYWAYS. if youre into trying recording clips, clips4sale has a good percentage. and on another note, on sites like mfc where you can take custies off of it to twitter, you can go half indie (or all indie idk lol) and make a bigger percentage that way. :) most camsites that offer a big percentage don't last long from my experience, and mfc is the best in my opinion for the traffic to payout% ratio. But yah if you want a big % I really suggest trying to build a customer base on a site that takes a standard cut (35-50%ish) and then going indie. just know the risks of chargebacks still exists and you still deal with a lot of bs. and i highly suggest researching about if you consider that route.. which requires reading :tapedshut

I don't know why you keep jumping to her defense. I just reread the posts, and a few people in this thread were nice enough to answer her question, and she still hasn't said thank you. Then when someone suggested she check out other threads, she said she doesn't want to. Sorry, but that just makes her look a little ungrateful and lazy.

I'm not saying everyone was like that to her. I'm just saying that's how I took it and she probably isn't coming back because maybe she felt some people were rude when they could have phrased it a bit nicer. I'm really not trying to be mean.

I've danced in a club back in college where the house fee was only $50. I averaged $200-$500 per night, and was happy with that.
Now I work in Vegas, my house fee is $140. I average $400-$800 now.
I cam on MFC, the payout is 50% and on MFC, one day could be the greatest day in the world, the next day could be zero.
I also cam on SM now, the payout is less. 35% I was always anti-SM just because of this until someone talked me into joining and a bad day for me on SM is $100. Also keep in mind I can't stay on cam longer than 2 hours (ADD mixed with camscore on MFC training my mind to run once you bank, lol)
The point I'm trying to make is, I believe the more quality places to work tend to have higher tip outs. I would never work in a club with like a $10 house fee. That only tells me you will prob make $50. Clubs with higher house fees tend to be more upscale and banking is a regular thing. As for cam sites, I personally would not go anywhere else other than MFC and SM. A site like CamWhores4u.com (made up cam site) may have a 90% payout. But hows the traffic? The quality of the members? Etc
Also, in clubs- you tip out everyone who takes care of you- the Valet, bouncers, servers, bartenders- you maybe tipping out a lot of your money but those same people will always take care of you and you will always make money. If you don't tip them out, especially in this economy, it will be a hit or miss (and a hard hit) for you since you're on your own and no one is taking care of you.
On cam sites, same thing. Would you rather work for a cam site that has 80% payout and horrible traffic? Or 35% payout with great traffic and marketing?
Just sayin

Or some higher % sites may be more geared towards self promotion and bringing your own guys.

Yes true 65% if you are doing directcam and if you go with daily pay you get 59%.
Still possible to get the 70% doing webcam shows but even less traffic.

Yeah, AW is the site I'll log into when I have the availability/energy to cam but don't want to deal with free chat. Some models on here have said that they don't bother with prebooked AW shows (I don't either) because it's a hassle. I agree because Skype shows can be a hassle sometimes...especially when the video call keeps disconnecting when you're in the middle of using your toy.

That doesn't sound realistic, huh? Then again, it doesn't sound any more realistic the way you put it either.
If you would like to police what can and cannot be said by other people then I suggest you offer to volunteer your time as a mod.
