im obsessed with burberry brit for her but it doesnt last as long as I want it to.
Ok, there's something called perfume primer..
Here it is, kinda pricey, but, sounds like it works.
https://houseofbo.co/products/bo-nourishing-parfum-primer
I JUST bought Burberry Brit EDT and it lasts about 5 hours on my skin. I personally prefer the edt to the edp. As for the perfume "primers", those are single note fragrances that can be used to help with longevity. Right now the most popular are This is Not A Perfume from Juliette Has A Gun and Molecules 01. Honestly if you want to save some money go for it this one

I don't believe in spending exorbitant amounts of money to make a fragrance smell good. Watch my reels and you'll see what I'm talking about.

oooh I've never heard of that! i'd like to get some of that for me and my boyfriend. he wears chanel de bleu (or whatever lol) and he also doesnt get the amount of time he wants out of it! thanks for telling me about it
Chanel fragrances mostly do not last and that's a shame for the amount of money they're asking for.

Just walked in to the Starbucks bathroom and it reeks of cheap men's cologne. Idk what it is, but I can still smell it on me. Blech!
I liked the DKNY green apple perfume when I wore it. A nice scent for daytime.

Avon had a great apple scented perfume in the 1980s. I wonder if they'll bring it back.

Today I'm wearing Lost Cherry by Tom Ford. The key to making perfume last as long as possible is to make sure your skin is extremely well-hydrated and layer. Get a corresponding body wash and lotion or something with similar notes. I usually moisturize my body with an unscented lotion then go in with my layering combo. Today is L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate because the almond note complements the cherry in my fragrance. Then I always take a travel spray or decant with me.

LC doesn't last no matter how much I prep my skin, but the dupe from Alt Fragrances does! It's called Cherry Smash and it's about 95% spot on. The biggest difference is in the opening where it's more medicinal than LC but the dry down is the same and absolutely devine.

Since I am obsessed with Signorina Eleganzza by Salvatore Ferragamo, I ordered a small bottle of Signorina in Fiore, because it's . I didn't smell it, but the ingredients seem to be a good combo (Top notes are Pomegranate, Pear and Sorbet; middle notes are Cherry Blossom and Jasmine; base notes are White Musk and Sandalwood.), so I am excited to get it. Monday it should arrive!!
I should have ordered an extra bottle of signorina elegannza, to have it at my camming apartament. I sometimes feel the need to spray a little perfume, altough I have an amazing room fragrance. Oh well, next time!

When it comes to woody Notes, sandalwood is my favorite. I'm gonna have to check this one out.

Sooo, Signorina in Fiore is here. Hmm, apparently I am into floral scents only and not into fruity, anymore. It smells good, fruity, fresh, but a lil cheap. Maybe the sorbet is too heavy, I don't know. Eleganzza is waaay better. Glad I ordered the smallest bottle. It's acceptable to wear it, so I'll bring it with me at the camming apartament, to poof poof myself here and there :)))

My issue with Bath and Bodyworks is that they discontinue fragrances ALL OF THE TIME! The moment you fall in love with something, it's gone! It's sad because I could use some fruity scents for layering, but I just can't put myself through that emotional rollercoaster.

Great Jasmine centric fragrances that won't break the bank:
Beauty by Calvin Klein
Memoire d'une odeur from Gucci
The jasmine in both of these are absolutely esquisite. Chef's kiss!
And then there's Jasmine Petals & Cedarwood from Indulgent Moments. If you see that in your local discounter...as a Jasmine lover, pick that shit up! I got my bottle from Marshalls for only $12.99.

This sounds really nice - I'm going to go and try it when I go shopping this weekend. It has a lot of notes that I like, but I'm wondering if it might be too sweet.
It's pointless me buying perfume 'blind' as I quite often tend to love the sound of one but find it completely different when I smell it, obviously because of that specific combination of notes not hitting the right spot.
I don't know what it is but I can't seem to find the perfect fragrance so always layer/blend a couple that I love. There's just something unbalanced about them individually, to my nose anyway, but haven't found anything I prefer.
I wear Serge Lutens Chergui (a bit too sweet/cloying alone) and Burberry Touch (a bit light/sharp alone).

It is not at all a sweet perfume. I am not a fan of sweet either lol.
It's also the kind of scent that you have to let sit a bit before really sniffing. spray it on and wait 5 minutes.

It's probably the cranberry note at the top of Burberry Touch that makes it so sharp. I personally avoid that note for that reason. Burberry Brit is a great alternative and even better, Burberry Brit Rhythm. To me the latter is soft and soapy. Burberry Her Intense is another great one.
I've come to realize that certain citrus fragrance notes do not agree with me. Like lemon, grapefruit and my beloved LIME. If I spray those on my chest or hair I end up with a headache because they're too sharp. I sometimes run into this issue with fig notes as well if they're too green. So now I just spray them on my wrist and behind my knees.

^I have never found a perfume with citrus that I love, other than Gucci Envy which is long discontinued. It's strange as my favourite smell in the world is fresh citrus, and I usually love green and citrus fragrances at first but they don't translate well on my skin at all.

Hm I tried some of other Burberrys today but they are a bit too fruity for me. They didn't have Brit in-store though. The soapy, powdery notes are what is missing from Touch - I'm convinced it used to have more powder and creaminess and has changed, or maybe my nose has changed.
I think I'm going to try old school White Musk with my Chergui and see if that works.

I normally don’t do sweet scents at all but I looked this one up and I really want to smell it. Sounds like a scent men would like (to smell on women); I used to work at a cosmetics counter way back in the day and when it came to women's perfume men always liked either really musky scents or reeeeally sweet scents, like cotton-candy sweet. I do remember Britney Spears’ Fantasy being guys’ number one favorite.
.

Funnily enough I almost never get complimented by men wearing Pink Sugar, always women and usually girls I work with. Maybe my skin doesn't mesh well with it lol. Too bad I freaking love Pink Sugar! I will drown myself in it regardless:P I love layering it with other perfumes I have as well!
Men at the club compliment me the mostt on Ariana Grande Cloud and Viva la Juicy. Out of my mainstream perfumes at least lol. I wear mostly indie perfumers work nowadays as it's cheaper and just as quality imo. I'm a perfume whore too so it's easier on my wallet this way :P
