I thought of a new response to "oh bb...you are just so expensive"...
"Funny, that...feminists keep telling me I'm too CHEAP!"

If SM were to actually suspend a model just for briefly mentioning percentages, that would be laughable to me when you've got butt ass naked models in free chat fingering each other's pussies. LOL.
I agree completely with you.
However, the gods of SM can be pretty freakin unfair that way. I will not name names (obviously...) but I know SO many girls who have been suspended for things like mentioning twitter, having a screengrab taken during the 30 sec get-toys-out-of-cooch-and-clothes-back-on period and ended up showing pussy in their screenshot, accidentally flashing some side-puss while re-arranging clothes, etc etc that I would not put it past them AT ALL to suspend or even ban an account for talking about percentages.
And I would HATE to be that girl that followed every other rule but got burned because I was trying to reason with some freeloading eejit.

I'll take my chances then with saying "Well I get a fraction of it," which I really don't even have to say often. They need to explain this stuff better to the guys who are making their pockets fatter. And if they're gonna be ridiculously strict about what is/isn't allowed to happen on cam, perhaps they should grow a conscience and stop promoting their models on a site catering to pedophiles/sickos into animal play (Motherless).
Cam girls break rules on a daily basis. We all know about MFC's rule of not fucking yourself in public chat, but we know how well THAT rule is enforced. :P Leo himself has been seen tipping models DURING public cum shows.....LOL.
Yet they suspended a model just because her husband yelled out to her (from another room) "What do you want from McDonald's?" SMH.....
Anyway, this thread has turned into a debate about the rules just because of one little comment I made in a previous post. Can we drop the 'do or don't mention percentages' dispute please and just agree to disagree? Do YOU.....

i have mentioned percentages in the past like twice to guys on SM. i won't do it again now that i know that it is in the contract. i need to read that thing over again. thanks for bringing it up tho, it would suck to get a perma ban. alright % discussion over for me, sorry brownfox :)

because........ some people really need extra money... $50/day extra is all they need, u know........
Yeah I see that ---- But they already know how much we're getting , because they're spending it on us . It's therfor not a secret , so when i turn round and tell some of them 'I don't get all that , I actually only take a cut , or I actually only take X % ' if anything it's going to discourage them from advising their girlfriends ..... Yeah sure they might think , yipeee 35% would be more than enough for my gf to live on , but how's that anymore appealing than what they already thought , that we were getting 100%
While I understand folk not wanting to share this information , I don't understand your point about more people wanting to do cam work , if they find out we''re not getting 100% of our revenue ... lol ... their intention to do the work is either going to stay the same ( ie not be put off by the fact we don't take it all) or it's going to diminish , it's NOT going to grow ....
Who in the right mind , looks at a wage and thinks, 'nice' and then finds out that wage is actually half of what they thought it was, and thinks 'nicer !'
No one !!! If anything, if a guy is talking to me about his wife /gf joining, and tells me 'wow you must be minted , I keep trying to talk my girl into this '' ... then I will tell him - well before you do , just remember im not as 'minted' as you think , because I don't get it all !!!

As for rule breaking , I don't advise it , I only push the rules on site's I wouldn't be bothered to lose. However around 75% of my regulars do not limit their contact with me to onsite... and if i'm chatting with them on the phone or yahoo , because they look me up , then I'll tell them what I like :p

I have to disagree with those who say that according to Streamate it's against their rules to discuss your percentage wage or earnings with customers / guests because on the performer code of conduct it says nothing about that. Here it is.

In the Gold Show Rules/FAQ it says "The same site rules apply:" And lists "DO NOT discuss your earnings" as one of those. I can't find this anywhere else tho...

Am I the only one who just tells them the site takes a majority of my profits? As soon as I mention I only make 37.5% and do a breakdown of that, guys stop making commentary about the cost.
I dont know? Ive done this and it gets kinda tricky. Talking about the economical details can turn them off and make their dicks go soft! And thats not what you want. Im still working on a formula where I can tell them where Im comming from and still keep it sexy. Some dont care they just wanna save their money. In that case I just block em and keep it pushin.
