I absolutely hate the amount of guys on Adultwork who keep spamming my inbox asking if I want to make shared content.
Thank you, BBC for the dumb documentary you made. Now guys think I should pay them for watching their cams.
For fuck sake.

is it the right size AND format? I know there's a couple pretty common formats they don't allow.

Pissed off that the owner of a rental i was going to look at today, cancelled at the last minute because someone else rented it.
She knew I had to drive 2 hrs. To get there to see it!
She said she lost my number. Whatever.::)

Ugh that is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. We currently have a vacancy rate that is below 1% where I live so it is even more infuriating.

Wow under 1%! Thats pretty low.
What pisses me off more though, is that i was tossing and turning the entire night, worried that i wouldn't wake up in time to make it out there by noon. And, wouldn't u know it? My loud roommates are sleeping in today.
Geez. Can't win for losing.
Oh well. Saves me the trip. My car's air conditioner is not working, and it's 90 degrees out where i was going.

I'm feeling really down today and just need a place to vent about it.
I have irish/scottish curly hair. It's about a 3C or 2B. I am so sorry if this is politically incorrect or hurts anyone, but I have NO IDEA how women of color manage it because mine doesn't come close and I still have issues. I'm so sorry, girls. I completely understand why you ladies wear wigs and weaves and pay hundreds of dollars on your hair. :( I'm literally in tears today because my hair is so fucked up.
I tried really hard about two years ago to do the 'all natural' route. I never used heat on it, I never blow dried it, and I put my hair in 3" hair rollers to kind of stretch out the curls. They were closer to Victoria's Secret waves after that. 'Close'. It was literally a five hour routine every morning, I'm not even kidding. I have to wait for the rollers to set, and I had to do it every fucking day because otherwise it would frizz and become a complete hot mess if I didn't manage it. I literally went through so much hairspray. It was insane. I still ended up having to use heat on it very sparingly because some parts never settled down. It was a nightmare.
Oh anon, you may be thinking, why don't you just go on with curly hair? Why don't you just go on with curly hair? I'm sure lots of guys will be into that! All natural herp derp derp I'm a retard gkrgjokrdhjnlkdhgjoetrhrtjhkyujyrsfoigfjhrfpksiglo 3 BECAUSE THE MOTHERFUCKERS DON'T LIKE ME WITH CURLY HAIR AND I NEVER EVER MAKE MONEY EVEN IF MY MAKEUP IS ON POINT AND IM VERY ATTRACTIVE THEY JUST HATE MY HAIR AND I NEVER GOT PRIVATES EVEN IF IT WAS LONG AND BEAUTIFUL IT DIDN'T MATTER THEY WANT WAVES OR STRAIGHT HAIR NRJGNJPDFOIHJG[RT9JHTER[IG;HETH
I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL GO APESHIT IF SOMEONE ASKS BECAUSE I HAVE ALREADY TRIED IT AND IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME. Their dicks are picky and they want straight hair. I don't know why. You just don't understand unless you've gone through it. It's literally the struggle, and it's my life. Check the front page of almost any site. Straight or 'all natural waves' is what's popular and default. Don't point out exceptions for popular curly models because I'm definitely not ever going to be one of them. My guys complain. They hate it. That's just the way it is. I actually like my hair, but they don't so that's what matters when you've gotta earn cash.
So I did what seems like the most practical thing. I've been wearing wigs. I'm so fucking sick of glue. I swear. I hate glue. I'm so sick of sticking it to my fucking head. I'm so tired of it. I'm so done. I'm so fucking done. I get a headache every shift and I hate complaining to my wonderful husband because he just doesn't understand the problem emotionally. He's a little angle, he really tries to help and always makes me feel better, but I know that he doesn't experience the feelings I do about this. He doesn't have to live with the reality of my hair in the same way I do.
The other problem with the all natural curl is that it's simple untamable. If it's not damaged, it will not fit into a specific shape. Hairspray works like lotion-- it only works for 6-8 hours before it wears off (if I'm lucky). That's why some damage for curly hair can be a good thing so it stays in a certain shape.
I'm also so sick of people trying to help. My dear grandmother aksed m why I don't just brush it out.
....
are you fucking kidding me, I don't want to look like a goddamn goat poodle. You can't just 'brush out' a goddamn curl, it doesn't work that way.

Continued.
I also don't look 'white enough'. I have very pale skin, but I have brown/hazel eyes. They actually have a huge portion of green and amber in them, but no one ever notices because it's not vivid and doesn't show up on camera well. My guys just cannot figure out what race I am and they get confused and I just don't want to get into it for the 100th time because they get spooooooo picky.
As such, I have decided to be a ginger because my brother and I have the same skin coloring and it's obviously natural on him. It actually looks really good on me. I have bright orange straight/wavy hair and it's so pretty. But I feel terrible because I'm so tired of gluing it on and I am not able to have long, healthy hair which is straight and ginger (unless I spend hundreds of dollars). I'm depressed because I'm making a lot of money and shows are coming in a lot easier with the new color and look. I'm depressed because this industry is so superficial (and I knew that going it) but I'm really hurt right now because they don't want me to look like I actually look. I'm not naturally the kind of pretty they want, even though I have a good base (skin, nails, body type). It's just so sad.
I'm thinking about just shaving my head at this point because I'm so depressed about it, but I'm a pussy so I won't.
Sorry if this brings anyone down, I just really needed to vent to someone out there who might understand. I don't want to cry all by myself about it.

anon, I also have naturally curly hair and I feel your pain. I love it when I am in a beach environment and the sun/salt water/breeze combo makes it look beachy and perfect, but literally everywhere else it often looks like frizzy garbage no matter how much time and effort I put into styling it. As you know, curly hair is SUCH a bitch because if you mess with it for just a second too long or mess up your product amount it's basically ruined. I spend way too much money on blowouts as a means of dealing with this in my off-cam life. On cam I do the same as you, I wear a giant Ariana Grande-style ponytail extension that looks decent enough (and customers LOVE IT!) but is SOOOOO damn heavy. My neck always hurts at the end of a shift and this sounds ridiculous, but I honestly feel that if I didn't have the accompanying fatigue and neck pain from my stupid fake hair I would be able to stay on longer than 6 hours and my temperament would be alot better towards the end of my shift which would probably equate to more $$$. But what can ya do.
Have you ever tried Deva Curl (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=a9_sc_1?rh=i%3Abeauty%2Ck%3Adeva+curl&keywords=deva+curl&ie=UTF8&qid=1456600665) products? Out of the gazillions of products I've used on my hair, this line is in my opinion the best and is highly regarded by other curly girls.

Thanks so much, I really needed someone who understands and has empathy right now. I totally know what you mean about the neck pain, my goodness. :O I've considered doing the clip ins too, but it's just impossible to stay happy when it's hurting so bad. Trust me, I completely understand that. I'm sorry you have to go through this, too.
Yeah, it's totally sad because I really love my hair. Before I started camming, it was very easy to manage because I'd just let it be curly and it generally dried alright. The curly girl method was what I used, and washing with only conditioner meant I had almost 0 frizz which was nice. :) I loved it, and I wish I could still wear it like that. My husband is really against me getting it relaxed or a blowout, and I'm so depressed because i wake up with an untamable mess every morning because I have to stuff my hair under a wig all day. GAH!
I totally feel you.
Sorry for the hard time u have with ur hair anon, i feel for u cause i dealt with same situation but not because of my hair but son's hair; he started to loose hair while in high-school, must be a genetic thing, not sure, he has thin & rare hair, he dont have enough to style it properly so the gaps were visible & hard to cover, it was a real struggle for him to deal with this situation, he even wore a wig no kidding, it was difficult for me to understand what he feels cause i also believed it's not a big deal not to have the best hair.... but for him it was a huge deal cause he said "society is judging soo much on looks now, the standards for how u look are soo high between young people in school or at a regular job".
For a year now he's using minoxidil and it has good effect on him, new hair grew up on the portions he was missing hair, he says he is happier and i am happy too for him cause was painful to watch him suffer and struggle, he said "I could have done soo much more for my career and have soo much more confidence if i had the hair i wanted".
I feel the same regarding camming u know, "i could have made soo much more in my cam career if i had the face and body i wanted", luckily for him he can work around with the hair but for me, i cant change my face or body lol.
Even if i had the money i would not go for a surgery cause who knows what kind of monster i could see in the mirror when i wake up from surgery hahaa, too risky.
But u know what? After i understood a certain fact last year, the reason i have a particular figure, i decided i dont wanna give a fuck anymore, who wants and likes me fine, who dont, idgf, more of, i am happy when i have people adoring me and paying for my shows cause i feel proud and at a win thinking & feeling "i must have a lot of value for u if u pay me even i dont look like a top model".
It feels soo much better than trying to please them all and caring about their opinion. In my case, not knowing "what was wrong with me" was painful, it made me angry & sour cause i was often told 'i dont work hard enough', nobody had the courage to tell me "yes girl, u look 'unusual' and people are not attracted by the things they find 'unusual, unfamiliar", i mean u need a lot of confidence to have success knowing u not everyone's cup of tea.
It took years of struggle to get here no kidding, i had to understand my condition to let go on feeling insecure about myself & not pay attention anymore to what people say.
I feel soo much more confident now cause i still manage to pull money out men's pocked while not looking perfect but 'unusual' LOL.
I wish u the best in finding ur ways around hair issues, i know what it means when looks dictate the earnings.

Yeah, it's rough. I can't imagine being worried about loosing my hair. I'm really grateful to have some. I'm concerned because I've heard that wearing wigs all the time can cause balding, but I'm really careful to glue on my skin and never the hairline. I'm sorry about your son. I'm glad the medication is helping him, that's really a lifesaver. <3
One of my other brothers is loosing his hair, and he's really depressed about it. :( It's rough because we're about a year apart, and we're both in our early 20's. His friends are making fun of him, and it's so mean because it's out of his control. He lives pretty far away from me so we only talk on the phone, but I've tried so hard to recommend him some of the same hair medicine. He is just really embarrassed and wants to pretend he's not loosing his hair, so he refuses to try it. :( How did you get your son to do it without being embarrassed? Is it expensive? My brother won't want to spend a lot of money on something like that, if he even tries it! lol
Oh, I looked into it and there is a hair tattoo you can get if it's serious. A lot of men get them when they're starting to loose their hair. Here's a picture http://abcnews.go.com/images/Health/ht_before_after_hair_tattoo_nt_120530_wmain.jpg Definitely make sure your son knows this is a pretty attractive option if the minoxidil ever stops working (can that happen?)

Anon, I'm kind of useless for this since I have the sort of fine, fairly thin straight hair that immediately goes totally flat and lifeless for basically everything, so opposite problem. I feel you though--getting it cam ready is a 1-2 hour process if I want it to be in the nice 'loose VS waves' or 'voluminous but straight hair' dudes like and even then it's back to dull and lifeless after an hour or two, time to start all over. Drives me nuts.
My godmother (who has 3C curls herself) actually turned me on to wet setting fairly damp hair in those EZ grip style, large barrel hair rollers overnight or for several hours in the morning. She would add curl definer and anti-frizz oil. I did it with volumizer and anti-frizz oil instead and, go figure, both of us get loose, VS style curls that hold shape and volume all day without going to crazy. Might be worth the $10 to try out the rollers. Most beauty supply stores carry 'em super cheap. <3

Yeah, that's really helpful :) It's very similar to what I was doing for 3-5 hours in the morning before switching to wigs. I really appreciate the frizz ease tip. I'll definitely try it out because it seems promising. :) I sometimes forget that girls with straight hair can struggle too, so thanks for the perspective.

Bigger curls will fall flat pretty quickly depending on your type of hair.... Anon, you might want to try flexi rods or the velcro rollers that Issa mentioned but in a smaller size. Try going for a tighter curl, then as they start to drop it'll fall into those loose VS curls. Oh, and yes, hairspray/curl enhancing mousse/curl activator is a must!

Why are you using glue for your wigs? Get a lacefront wig. And they are cheap as fuck and can be made to look expensive. Go check out the lace fronts on these sites. Dont get discouraged by the pics. The pics always look weird. If you see one you like do a search on Youtube with the name of and model no. I promise you that someone has done a wig review on it and hooked it up. No glue needed. Lace front wigs are great because you can create a natural part in the front. Keratin treatments are great for unruly hair too.

I'm currently using a lacefront wig. I glue the sides of the wig to my head so it doesn't look funny. :) Otherwise there's these annoying flaps and it's totally noticeable. Thanks for the site recommendations, I'll definitely check them out! Extremely helpful.

Anon, Minoxidil is not cheap for us here but son said he will use it for the rest of his life no matter what LOL, he said he'll give up on school and job if i ever tell him to stop buying the thing so i let him buy that every month LOL, i want him happy and to bring money at home and learn for that license degree.
Is not difficult to use that, just apply it to needed area on the scalp every eve, it'll stain the pillow with a yellowish shade but i dont mind, i wash them and give it back to him LOL (for ur brother to use i mean).
I'll let him know about the tattoo, ty!, he said to me a while ago, if he will ever need it, he'll go for hair implant as many times as he needs, THAT'S HOW IMPORTANT HIS HAIR IS FOR HIM.
About the wig making people loose hair, is not the hair on the hair line that is affected cause of the glue only, that is the smallest issue, is the fact that hair roots over whole scalp are weakening cause of the 'sauna effect', the hair is 'not breathing' under a wig anymore.
No matter if my hair looks good enough for these guys on cam or not i'll never wear a wig (mines is kinda thin & not as much anymore cause of thyroid issues but i am lucky is naturally wavy so i have volume tho i have to wash it every other day otherwise is getting greasy & looks/ feels bad).
For me the struggle is with the water here cause they always cut water in my building/ area & i sometimes cant wash my hair & need to get on cam with a bad looking hair.
I think every of us struggle with something, we just dont see their struggle but only how they look like on cam when ready to work already. You just cant know how many hrs that person used to hide their flaws.

I can actually help with your hair washing issue. There was a time in my life when I was not able to wash my hair very often. The trick is this-- get some powder in your hair color. The key is to put it in your hair at the roots. It will adsorb the oils. After that, you need to use a boar bristle brush and comb out the oils / powder. It's really effective, but it takes a bit longer. The best part is that it leaves your hair with a lot of volume. :)
I wouldn't personally recommend going longer than a week with this method because it always makes my scalp itch. I don't know about yours, but I hope this helps. This obviously works with dry shampoo too, but I don't know if you have access to that. It can be hard to find in some places, and most people don't brush it out like they are supposed to.
Also, thanks for the tips about the balding cream. I'll definitely keep that in mind, and I'll be sure to tell my brother about it. He's a natural blonde though, and natural blondes always seem to loose their hair faster on the male side. I don't know why, less follicles per square inch? I guess. He's probably going to be stubborn and I'll end up helping him get the hair tattoos if he wants it. He'll probably just want to wear a hat all the time instead haha. I'm glad your son has found some solutions. <3 I think over here we use Rogaine, it's $35/45 for a pack on Amazon. Actually, it works well on women too! I've considered recommending it to a few older ladies I know, but I don;t want them to take it personally if they're complaining about hair thinning and I recommend rogaine LOL. It seems really insensitive.
Yeah, I know how you feel about the wig. I was really adamant against wearing one for a long time. However, one of my friends brought up a really good point. She said "No matter how beautiful you are, your real hair will never look as perfect as fake hair." She has a good point. I was spending 5 hours on my hair, and now I spend less than 30 minutes. My life doesn't revolve around my hair anymore. I can work out without worrying about getting sweaty. I can go outside without stressing. I also always end my day with putting a blowdryer over my roots JUST IN CASE my hair scalp needs to breathe. I've heard that's a myth, but you can never be too careful.
I tried the dry shampoo, we have it here too, is good for emergency situations but i dont like to breath/ inhale the thing when spraying, i had to go near an open window to spray my hair LOL, i got three bottles, white, medium brown and dark brown, they make my hair dull even i brush it after, i like my hair shiny but yes, i can always use some oil for hair after, at least on front side where is visible on cam.
Son used that thing too and i think is correct that blonde ish men have less hair sometimes, he was blonde when small now medium brown but not too dark and his hair is straight. I dye my hair brown or dark red but on cam is looking dark.
We are here for eachother right? To help, support & encourage eachother even is the Vent thread lol. God bless xxx

Could suck because it's Oscar Sunday. The pre shows are starting now, and wives are probably home watching it. Ergo, husbands can't play.
I know my celebrity custies are at the awards, so I'm taking the day off to watch it too.
So glad i jumped on last night, because i would hate to be sitting i an empty chat room today.

I won't answer the door if they pull that shit. I don't care if they know I'm home. I find that so intrusive and unacceptable.
Yeah, I've run into this same problem. I have friends who know that I work from home. They will text me on their day off in the morn and say, "Hey, let's get lunch". When I tell them that that I have to work, they are appalled. They think that I can just do whatever whenever.
To add my "thing that pisses me off", I had a very good regular come in this week. You know how we all get when we haven't see that great regular. We're like, "YES! CHACHING!" Then he sits there with, "You're so beautiful" "What have you been up to?" "You look great" "I love your smile" After his countless comments, I just opened my eyes wide and smiled into the cam. He left. Fuck you.

I'm sorry, but you sound BEAUTIFUL. I'm so sorry that you are unhappy. I hope you can find happiness in the way you look. I know it's tough. We all have our quirks about certain things on our bodies. Hugs to you.

Skype show guys... do they think we're stupid? Guy hits me up from LCMS, tries to haggle for a discount, asks if he can pay any other way, I say no. He says he "tried to pay" through LCMS but the payment failed and asks if he can pay any other way. No bitch!!!! (I had a guy earlier in the day whose payment actually DID fail so I know what that looks like.) I told him to try again and he pretended he was gonna do it and blocked me instead.
What I don't understand about these guys trying to rip you off... is... if you're not going to pay someone anyway - why even bother trying to haggle first?

It takes so much less effort to just fucking pay normally than to try and haggle.

FedEx. Phoned them today about package security and they literally said they will give the package to anyone who is around. When I said that they were enabling theft that way they said "well too bad, you shouldn't order things if you can't recieve them".
WTF? What if I worked a normal office job? Well, that's the last of my business they will ever see.

They told you that? Wow. Just wow. How disappointing. I thought my recent experiences with them was bad because that's how they do things out here in the boonies.
Now I'm questioning whether to ever use them or not.

Oh that is so sad :( But I think that a lot of customers might not understand your unique beauty. Have you thought about doing your hair more of Auburn? Or even more of Chestnut. It is in the red family but more of mainstream color. Or getting one of those Raquel Welch Auburn wigs that can give you more of retro pinup look.Just suggestion :)

But I think that a lot of customers might not understand your unique beauty.
Few years ago i got a troll on SM throwing insults while i was running a gold show countdown, that kind of long ass message typed at once, that was the most aggressive troll i ever got, between many other insults he/she said "also what the fuck, that hair! is looking like in the 70's".
The troll insulted me regarding my hair thinking i on purpose styled it like that but reality is, i have shortish hair and naturally wavy & a haircut that is not 'in trend' cause i cant have it different due to the structure of my hair. Not going to wear a wig & loose my remaining hair here just to make u happy there, my hair is of lots more value than ur money so tough shit if u dont like it.
I blocked the troll but i also understood how men are not that ready/willing to see value in an unique beauty on cam, if u dont fit the standards u 'doomed', sad lol.
This is really a sad reality.

But, then again, when i get on at noon, and think ill get my uk guys they're nowhere to be found.
Oh well, it is what it is.
