Went to a club tonight on the way home from work.

#1 pet peeve - dancers sitting down at my table without asking if I want company.

This is really annoying since it puts me in the position to brush them off or be rude if I am not interested. I go to clubs to relax not have to be rude to someone to get them to leave, telling them nicely I am not interested does not always work. Tonight, I had just tipped the dancer on the stage $20 when another dancer came by and sat down without asking if I want company. So end the end, the dancer that sat down wasted her time with me and the dancer on stage ended up missing out on the $60-$100 I planned on spending. Oh well, I left with cash in my pocket. I'll be back in a week or two.

What are some other pet peeves people have?

I agree with #1. I want to get settled, a drink in me, and then I will open my wallet for the right person. Let me have a drink first.

#2. Brightly lit clubs. I like a little dim lighting, not too dim, but seriously, I am not looking for a bright place. The Hustler Club in St. Louis has an awful atmosphere.

Other customers who decide to have a chat while I am taking in the show and flow.

I dont go into SCs to make buddies with anyone who has a d*ck.

Yeah, socializing with other customers is not why I go to strip clubs.

I also can't stand #$&% T-shirt dances or any other foolish attempt by the club to make the dancers hawk merchandise under the guise of "discount dances".

I have a few:

1. Music that is so damned loud that I cannot even talk with the girls. Ala Clubhouse in Dallas, Riviera in Queens, NY, Platinum Plus in Greenville, SC, and others.

2. Walking out of a club stinking like some $5 per jug perfume. I feel so strongly about this one that I started a thread on the topic: http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?145128-Stripperfumes&highlight=stripperfumes.

3. Merchandise or shot promo dances (as Yoda mentioned).

4. Pastie/bikini clubs. Pasties really take something away from the whole thing IMHO.

5. Enforced valet parking requirements, which happens in some Dallas clubs that I visit. I want to leave when I want to leave and I hate having to wait while someone fetches my car.

6. Enforced coat checks, which are not uncommon in certain NYC clubs. My issue with it is really the same one I have with enforced valet parking, which is that it holds me up when I simply want to leave.

7. Club-wide tip walks. Milwaukee clubs are notorious for this and I don't even know if half of the girls I tip were ever on stage. I don't mind tipping, but their constant appearance interrupts the flow of whatever else I am trying to do with the dancer sitting next to me.

8. High pressure, high cost "dancer drink" gimmicks. The clubs on the Block in Baltimore are the worst offenders that I have ever seen, though the Glass Slipper in Boston doesn't do such a shabby job of it either.

Anyway, those are the ones that come immediately to mind.

This one has only happened a couple of times, but it is now a pet peeve of mine:
A dancer who sat with a customer gets up to go to the DR, and as she walks out I make my presence known and go VIP with her. Not even a minute after we sit down in the booth, that same customer walks up, peeks over the wall at us, and makes some rude gesture or annoyed facial expression as if to tell me "hey that was MY girl!". Ummm...then you should have spent money on her in VIP and not wasted her fucking time sitting and chatting...

Pet Peeves (none of these are new..but dang it they're mine!)

1) dancers that sit down and WON'T leave when you ignore them.
2) music that' SO loud you can't hear your buddy next to you or the dancer
3) stage dancers that don't come over when you tip them 5-10 dollars on stage and say "I'd love to see you in VIP". Especially in an area that isn't known for tipping on stage.
4) Fake lines by the dancers "I can tell you're a ladies man.yeah, that's why I'm here .."

Man, I hate these first world problems.

"Would you like to buy a drink for her?" is a DEAL BREAKER for me. I will leave the club every time they nail me with that instead of spending hundreds of dollars or more for the girl. I will pay and tip the girls graciously. They don't have to resort to suckering me into extra bullshit. When they do, it's ADIOS.

If you were really going to spend "hundreds of dollars or more" on the girl, what difference does springing for a drink make?

There is a certain etiquette involved in getting to know a girl who you might be interested in dealing with. Buying her a drink really shouldn't be a deal breaker, unless of course you really meant to say that you'd be spending "hundreds of pennies or more" rather than hundreds of dollars. ;)

I don't mind I enjoy meeting new people, I'm socialible. I've had guys just sit beside me and start talking its cool. A stranger is just a friend, you haven't met yet. Its family you can't trust. My pet peeve is chicks that think its funny to hit you in balls when you tip them on stage.

LOL who the hell does that??

I'm guessing that if it's actually happening he probably did something to deserve it....

Two of my biggest ... insane ATM fees, and clubs that want to fill out a form, photocopy your DL and fingerprint you just to run a bar tab.

Add me in to the ultraloud sound system: it kills my mood to have to scream in order to communicate.

The you wanna dance girls who hit you up 5 seconds after you walk into the club
On the drink side, waitresses who walk over every 10 seconds to see if I want to buy the girl another drink. When she barely sipped the first one and threw it out, when she went to get back on stage. Or we discussing different VIP rooms. One dancer actually yelled at the waitress. (The high pressure drink sales for soda and water were cutting into their tip money)
The girls after you've exclaimed that you want to chill out and relax because you don't go to strip clubs as much anymore and you sort of want to hang out and have a good time without feeling like your in a high pressure timeshare room. Still don't get it. (I'm not interested in you and if i was, you blew it by asking five seconds after I entered the club)

1. Girls who sit down without asking
2. Girls that don't come by and thank me after a stage tip ( when I stage tip, I tip well )
3. Guys that watch me getting a private dance ( no truly private rooms in the local clubs )
4. Music too loud to have conversation
5. DJ who thinks he is star of the show

These things have been an issue in just about any club I have been to across the country, at least to some degree.

VIP rooms that have lighting that is in front of you making it difficult to see the dancer. I go into the VIP room to experience both the visual and tactile stimulus.

Bright lighting. I really miss the "old black light, dark" days from the '90s.
The dirty carpeting also bothers me.
Waitresses who don't wear lingerie.
Zombie dancers or girls staring in the mirror or otherwise looking disinterested.
SCs that look like "dive bars." I prefer upscale or at least something clean in the middle.
Smelly customers (it bothers me too) and ones who wear soiled or unwashed clothes.
Wanna dance?
Asking for tips. (I am usually a good tipper, trust me, I will take care of you.)
Air dancing, unless fully nude.

The rest I won't really care about. I'm fine with hustle. Fine with girls sitting down uninvited. I'm fine with loud music (it makes the girls sit REALLY CLOSE). It's a CLUB after all. It I wanted quiet, I would go to a MP or schedule an escort.
