Sites like AW , camcontacts etc, won't let you advertise your own site if it has any affiliate site on it - .... to me that makes sense ! MFC let you advertise your own website which includes affiliate links ! That's misleading - and it's caught fridays out . If it's okay to advertise your own site with external links on , you would assume it would go under the radar to advertise the afil link direct !

It's like a punch in the stomach to log onto MFC and see that your hard-earned money has been taken away...trust me, I know (got a 1,000 token CB once, believe it or not). :( I'm sorry that this happened to you.
It's interesting how MFC will talk about their "rules" even though models on there are constantly breaking the "rules" left and right on a daily basis. I think some people even have screenshots of Leo himself tipping some of these models. But they fine/suspend/ban pretty much whoever they want. One model even stated that she was penalized just because you could HEAR (not SEE...HEAR) her husband's voice call out to her from another room.
Ridiculous.

Mmmk, two cents time! :)
I agree with Scarlett about reading rules - if you don't want to run into problems regarding rule breaking, don't break the rules!
HOWEVER, MFC does let some girls get away with things and others not.
They can't police the whole site 100% of the time. It simply costs too much money to pay someone to monitor every room 24 hours a day. The whole world works like this, not just cam sites.
Take speeding tickets as an example. People speed all the time and don't get caught, but try saying, "Officer, everyone else is speeding so I shouldn't get a ticket" and see how far that gets you. It doesn't matter what everyone else is doing, it matters what YOU are doing. She gambled that she would be able to breaking the rules and get away with it, but she lost! This is 100% her fault and MFC didn't do anything wrong.
The lesson here is to follow the rules, no matter if other people are breaking them or not. Just because a rule is broken doesn't mean it's no longer a rule.

LOVE IT. They punish for something that could possibly take money away from them and ignore the other 5000 girls breaking all the rules JUST BECAUSE it gets mfc moneys.. typical.
Anyway I would be raging if I were you, but I guess you will have to put it behind you and move on.

Literally a girl on page 1 doing double penetration. I mean. Its RIGHT in their faces.
I mean yeah she took a gamble, but at the same time, there are over a thousand girls taking a thousand gambles every hour and we dont hear much of their penalties.

What?? That's not discrimination! Did they ban or fine you because of your race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation?
Is it discrimination for you to ban annoying or rude guys from your chat? No, of course not. You can ban anyone for any reason, and MFC can legally do the same to it's models. It's their website, and they make the rules. That is NOT the definition of discrimination... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discrimination

Maybe I'm dense, but I just don't understand your reasoning here. You want girls who break the rules to get penalized, yet you're upset that a girl who broke the rules got penalized.

No, it's not. Even if they fined you for one of those reasons, which they didn't, it's still not discrimination. Discrimination has a legal definition, it's not just anything you find unfair. It all boils down to this... it's MFC's site, so they make the rules and you have NO rights there. They can do whatever they want as long as it's not illegal, and what they did is not illegal.
I don't work on MFC. I don't like all the stupid rules either, and that's why I'm 100% independent and don't work on any of the cam sites anymore. I make more money, have less rules to follow, and have a lot more freedom and fun. If you don't want to follow the cam site's stupid rules go independent and set your own rules :)

if you wanna give speeding tickets as an example. A main girl is like a guy going 110mph in a 65 zone 7 days a week while MissMafia goes 75mph once. I would buy the "they cant traffic the entire site thing" if some girls broke the rules while other don't, there are many many main girls that are easy to view and break multiple rules and never get penalized.
I would be a tad bit confused if I got arrested and fined for littering while a group of guys was running around murdering 5 people a day. These aren't small things people do for 10 seconds in free chat. This is advertising shows in their page that will include drug use, regular penetration, advertising other sites....and so and and so on. I doubt they don't see their main girl, AspenRae, as she is the face of MFC and represents them at many conventions an in videos. You wanna tell me they NEVER watch her feed or read her page? That's a lie.
Yes the rules should be read but how can one make any money when the norm for making money goes against the rules and rules are enforced on those that don't bring as much money to the site. How do you not categorize that as discrimination?? Just because it is not over race, religion or sex does not mean it doesn't fall under that category. Just like other major sites like SM there is favoritism and the last time I checked we didn't sign anything in our contract stating that this was part of the site business practices. I'm sure if that was in the contract as an asterisk right after the rule (*we reserve the right to allow any independent contractors that we chose to bypass any and/or all of these rules based on favoritism and/or amount of token brought in for the site) many girls would have not signed up. Of course we all have the right to leave if we are dissatisfied but we also have the right to bring it to the attention of the company that we are in contract with when the contract they provided us doesn't seem to be enforced fairly.
Again another example, at one time, people felt that celebrities got away with too many crimes based on their status an money. Man complained and showed discontent. Were they in the wrong for it? No
Many feel that the 1% aren't taxed enough and still speak out about it. Regardless of my opinion, I can understand why they feel it in unfair and would like an explanation. I don't think the "shut up an deal with it" attitude is healthy.
Let me end this y restating that she DID break the MFC rules and I understand why she was fined. That, in my opinion, is not what is being disputed here.
Much love and hope everyone has a kick butt week =) No hard feelings just some good ole discussion so please don't take this as an attack geared at you Xoxoxox

I agree with you that it's not discrimination, but that said I think what everyone here is complaining about (myself included) is that MFC selectively applies their rules. Yes, they cannot police the site 24/7, but all Leo would have to do is log in at any given time to see 1/3rd or so of the girls on breaking at least 1 of the rules.
Now here is some food for thought for everyone here: It is quite possible that some of the girls doing public shows ARE getting fined to the tune of $100 or so, but to them that's worth it because they are generating say $1,000 a day for themselves. So it's essentially costing them $100 to come to work. So instead of getting 50% they are essentially earning in the ball park of 45%. Since it is not made public who is fined, we can only speculate.
This statement also applies to suspensions on other sites (although many do not fine). We don't know who is suspended. On SM even during a suspension your profile shows up in searches and on the site as "offline".

but look... they're still there still doing it....
This tells me they are not penalized......
even if they;d be penalized $100/day.. that would make it $2000-$3000 per month, in penalties..

Using the speeding ticket as a scenario......my husband is an officer, and a friend of ours is also an officer. The friend of ours can drive 70+ down the highway past an officer (two lane highway) without getting pulled over. Or....will get pulled over 1 time out of 20, then show them his badge and off he goes. He can be 4 hours from home and it will still happen. Keep this in mind......
Realistically you can't say that a top girl who is on the very, very top of the page who breaks many rules in one night isn't "seen". It's like driving past a police officer speeding.....they see you, but they don't want to pursue the chase for whatever reason. Same with the people on MFC. those top girls are making MFC mega bucks....do you think they want to take the risk of fining "too" much and having them leave their site. Especially when those top girls have guy devoted specifically to them.....they'd lose a lot of money, and many customers too!
I will say I've never broken a rule on any cam site......granted, I don't think any one of us could 100% guarantee that. So I say that lightly, I've never broken a rule that I'm aware of and yes I've read the rules.
It's just the point of closing a blind eye to many, and making an example out of another. Don't get me wrong that's life, but does it make it right? I didn't see Fridays sit there and say I didn't break a rule....what are you talking about? Like I said in my first post...understand the underlying issue.
The people who listen to all the rules and really rigid have to at time work twice as hard as the woman who is going to disregard the rules. Granted this isn't always the case, but many times it is. We would have to up our game and think smarter in order to work harder to get the same end result as the person/people who are disregarding the rules. While it's unfortunate, it's life, suck it up (yada, yada)......I would hope you can at least understand the point of why people would feel the need or would think about breaking a rule or two. Understand now?

I can't believe this has turned into a debate . Fridays comes on for moral support and a shoulder to cry on , and there has to be some clever dick to tell her , 'if you break the rules what do you expect ' ..... hmmm, if you come into a thread created for emotional support, and start stating the obvious with nothing positive to offer, what do YOU expect . Yes we know she broke a rule, she told us - Whether it was a mis justice or not is irrelevant really , she got fined, and that stung ... If she wants to vent , let her be. I've worked in courts with less of a jury ! Oh man . You can cry to me Fridays lol I feel your pain !

I'll be the first one to admit I come to the forums for support, so I can relate to Fridays creating this thread.
Yes, Fridays broke the rules. She was punished for breaking the rules. Sucks getting caught, much sympathy on your lost earnings. *genuinely* I'm sure it's twice as offensive because it was on MFC, which is a site known for its lack of rule enforcement.
That being said, I don't understand why this is a tirade against other models, or a debate about whether the fine was deserved. She intentionally broke the rules, someone probably reported her, and MFC reacted to that. They didn't delete your account or anything, so... don't do it again, and that's that.

I'm not trying to be a "dick" or anything. Losing money is awful; gawd knows how hard we all work!

I'm so late to this but I wanted to say I'm so sorry you were the one they picked to all of a sudden enforce rules! I would be livid!!!!!
Also, I current have a link to my cammodels link on my mfc profile and have had it there since I quit mfc, the link flat out says I'm done with mfc so come see me on this other site instead. I've never been "caught" and I have had several people join with the link..... I'm not sure how you were promoting the other site but if it was in free chat I don't blame you, I would try it too if I still worked there.
I like what someone else suggested... After you get paid get on there and spam the shit out of your cammodels link! Fuck them! You don't need mfc!!!

Also yes she broke a rule and if it was on say, streamate I would be like damn that sucks but you shouldn't break the rules. However, on a free for all circus like mfc.... where its obvious that rule breaking is ENCOURAGED.... that's just wrong.

Two clarification questions about MFC, I guess more asking how common these scenarios are:
1. They have chargebacks? Enough for every model to have had them at least a handful of times or are they a rare recurrence?
2. Are fines of $100 the standard for all rule violations or does it vary in amount/by rule?

MFC chargebacks are rare but they do happen. Similar to how Adultworks are rare but still pop up every now and again.
This is a short list of recent violations and how MFC dealt with it:
Model \ Measure \ Violation Date \ End Date \ Rule Violation
ModelA Warning March ***** March ***** Your avatar was inappropriate and has been changed for you
ModelA Warning February ***** February ***** Lactation is not allowed. Please read the rules.
ModelA Warning November ***** November ***** Men and sexual activity with men is not allowed on this site. If it happens again, your account will be closed.
ModelA Shut-Off September ***** January ***** active on ModelB
ModelA Warning September ***** September ***** Inappropriate username, please choose a username that conforms the rules
Usually if the same rule is broken twice by a member MFC will ban them.
MFC warn's people all the time, bans and fines sometimes also. $100 is probably the highest fine I have seen from memory.

Well...I mean if they're going to enforce ANY of their rules, of course its going to be the one threatening their clientele base. No site wants girls directing their custies elsewhere. And think about it, the other rules they're NOT enforcing are obviously bringing in more income so its clear that they would choose not to enforce those. It sucks that they pick and choose what rules to enforce or not, but at the end of the day its a risk to break the rules. I break very few rules, if any at all now, but if I did break a rule and got caught, I wouldn't be surprised and pissed off about it...would be no ones fault but my own IMO. Site owners can do what they want, its their site.

A lot of models think that MFC doesn't have chargebacks, but they do. I got a chargeback of 1,000 tokens once. But I'm pretty sure that MFC chargebacks are very rare, which is why I was stunned when it happened to me.
