Getting pregnant and not realizing till it's too late to have an abortion. I've heard stories about so many girls who didn't know they were pregnant until 4 or 6 months or even sometimes until they were giving birth. Some girls get their period the whole way through and this scares the fuck out of me. I've had nightmares where I'm suddenly 8 months pregnant - more than once.

you can say that again. even just too late to take the morning after pill. pro-choice dammit!

-Someone breaking in while I'm in the shower. I freak out if there's not a lock on the bathroom door.

-Being haunted by a demon - like in Paranormal Activity.

Basically anything involving bad people/things coming after me and not being in a position where I can defend myself.

Screw you for your list, LOL!

Item 1 - ACTUALLY HAD THIS FUCKING HAPPEN. Seriously? I protect myself and my home to a point that's anal as hell, keep the shotgun within reach, etc - and the ONE TIME someone breaks in I'm in teh shower with MM. I don't have an irrational fear of it, but let me tell you - it's scary as FUCK. Weirdest/scariest part was - they didn't do anything, didn't take anything - nothing. Kicked the front door in and LEFT. Maybe they realized wrong apartment? I dunno. Heard loud noise while in shower, jumped out and grabbed towel, grabbed random weapon-like item, and went out from teh master bedroom - front door open, huge boot mark on the outside, lock broken (must have been one very strong dude), end table by the couch knocked askew, lamp knocked over, cats scared to shit hiding under couch - and everything is fine, nobody there. FUCKING CREEPY SHIT.

Item 2 - if you don't believe in ghosts and such, sorry in advance - but I've been haunted/lived in haunted houses on more than one occasion, and when you've been through it on that level you have no choice but to believe, lol. Again - weirdly not phobia though! In fact, most ghosts are either neutral or basically friendly. Lived in one house for a couple months that was haunted by an asshole mean ghost though, and that sucked. I drive my it every once in a blue moon to see if anyone lives there yet (owner lost the house and it was empty for a long time) and wonder how they're dealing with dickhead the unfriendly asshole ghost. Couldn't wait to get the FUCK outta that house. As a result, I am FREAKISHLY careful about not doing anything to "invite" unwelcome spirits into my brand new never before lived in house. No Ouiji Boards or weird shit comes in here, thankyouverymuch! Some of the shit I've seen/experienced was just toooo much.

Item 3 - again, nota phobia - more of an obsession. I think scenarios through over and over and over. And then again.

Now on th the acual irrational fears and phobias.

1 - NEEDLES. FUCK NEEDLES. Had an experience when I was 4-5 years old that screwed me. I'm fine as long as I can't SEE them. Turn my head the other way, go ahead, draw blood, whatever. Pull that shit out in front of me and instant freakout. Even pictures of them as someone already said. Someone getting an injection on TV = me almost throwing up.

2 - spiders. For some reason, tarantulas are mostly exempt? They just don't freak me out as bad as other spiders do. Black Widows are the exact opposite - creepiest most fucked up thing on planet earth. And of course,m I live in Black Widow central, Las Vegas. Over the years I have learned to manage this phobia MUCh better than the needles one, and now I only scream like a 7 year old girl if taken by surprise or find one on me.

That's mostly it, although there are many other minor ones that I get past but still persist. Ever since watching The Ring I have difficulty walking past a powered-off TV if I"m home alone, lol. Other fears tend to come and go - like, same situation 2 different times, one I'm scared, other I'm not. No rhyme or reason to it, either.

Ants! I am scared to death of ants. Just the thought of them crawling all over me. And the weird thing is, I am not even afraid of spiders, but if I see a large swarm of ants..I freak out.

anything involving eyeballs. it takes me about an hour to put in contact lenses. i struggled to even watch the how to video which consisted of some chick touching her eyeball over and over again. i just roam around with my 20/70 vision and do ok somehow.

I'm always worried my husband will come home when I'm in the shower, startle me, and I'll fall and hit my face on he faucet and knock my teeth out.

It's ridiculous. I text him around the time he's expected in and ask if I have time to take a shower.

I do this too! lol so it isn't just me. I get scared someone is going to scare me or I'm gonna slip and fall and that would happen.

Irrational things I'm afraid of:

1. Becoming obese (not being attractive anymore to anyone & not being able to fit into clothes).

2. Bleaching my hair again (no offense to anyone, but I'm scared it wouldn't come out right again. So, I have stuck to dark brunette ever since).

3. Heights (yup, I have a terrible fear of heights).

4. Walking alone, at night (I never like to walk alone at night. I do all my workouts during the day).

5. Pitbulls, Rottweilers, & German shepards (yeah, these kinds of breeds of dogs scare me the most. They are very unpredictable).

6. Being alone (I have never lived alone & wish never to).

I eat ALOT of sashimi and fish keleguen, and I am so terrified of one day seeing a parasite squirming around in my fish=( I dont care about them actually being there, as long as they aren't plainly visible! Lol
