You ladies are so inspiring. I'm slowly getting things together so I can start camming. Right now I have 18k in student loans and am working 2 jobs (that pay shit) to support myself and my mother who has been out of work for a year from an injury (she might finally be able to start work again at the end of this month). I hope in the next few months I'll be able to post here about starting to pay off my student loans and saving for the university program I was accepted to overseas. Just gotta make it happen.

I'm about to finally be able to pay for a boob job and I earned all of the money in less than a month from camming on SM!

I just made my first adult purchase! A flat screen TV for the bedroom!
(Also, it's a work purchase, but whatever... Still exciting!)

Luxuries:
a car free and clear
twice a year trips to NYC (long weekends) to see my brother
travel with my dogs to compete in different events
Stuff I needed/could justify for work:
-2 super fast/high end computers.
-several cameras/camcorders/webcams
-best internet money can buy around here
-sex toys galore
-nice sheet sets. I recently learned most "normal" people have only 2 sets of sheets for their bed. I have 12!
-really good food-lots of fruits, veggies, proteins, etc. I ain't eating ramen noodles here!
-comfy living room couches
-kitchen appliances
-a serger (for sewing clothes)
-department store make up

Most people only have 2? Maybe since I was raised with a closet of linens, I just have tons. I tend to hit (later) in the day black friday at JCP and stock up on the egyptian cotton sheets I am in love with. I probably get 5-6 new sheet sets a year.
All those things are amazing though, congratulations!

Yeah I was eating lunch at a group I go to every friday and we were talking about laundry. I was talking about having to wash 5 sets of sheets and that how I wanted to buy new ones soon. People there were looking at me like I was nuts, and one of the ladies that runs the group tells me "most people only have 2 sheet sets".

Glad to see all these goals achieved! In the past Ive made money and accomplished small and big goals. BUT the last month or two has been slow with camming, like its pulling teeth even when I do make money to the point where my energy is drained and I want to give it up all together, but this thread inspires me to keep going thanks ladies I know better days will come:)

I just started in the industry as a camgirl in August. I've been able to buy my kids diapers so far and that was a relief. This month I am able to contribute 200 to our water bill. All the rest has gone to other bills and our embarrassing debt. I'm hoping to buy my autistic son an ipad for Christmas because my dream is for him to talk to me. Even if it means using an electronic device we can't afford right now to do so. Sorry, I know you guys wanted to hear about luxurious handbags but that stuff isn't even on my radar yet :)
I know what you mean my little girl is not talking ,she is 4yrs with autism and I am wanting to get back to camming to get her a pressure vest, chew toys and other thing to help her she is lower functioning, but I DONT know if you know you get your son a dynavox if like a Ipad and most insurances will cover it,here is a link http://www.dynavoxtech.com/ one thing is before start your child with any type of Communication Devices they have had to mastered pics program then move on to other Communication Devices that is what my little girls speech person told me when I was trying to get her other Communication Devices if you want more info on it PM me and I would love to help I know how hard it is dealing with autism I had many nights I just cried intil I could not cry anymore

My son has Autism, he's 5...I just wanna get him an Ipad as well because I now that would help him a lot. He's pretty smart already. He reads and types out words and writes his abc's over and over lol. If any of you other moms wanna talk feel free to message me. ;) Autism is a complex thing.

I seriously had no clue. O_O I guess we've been doing it wrong? I know people who only have on comforter and design their whole room around it. I just spacebagged up my unused ones and have 7 including the one on my bed. I guess I just love changing things up.
That or I'm secretly planning for lack of linens in the zombie apocalypse.

Add me to the list of autism kids! One of my twins, she's 5 and she is autistic. Thankfully it is not severe.
Make sure you get your kids into early education ASAP and into all the special ed programs at their schools!!! I cannot stress this enough because my daughter is a completely different person than when she was first diagnosed, and I credit it all to getting her into treatment early! If any of your kids are not in kindergarten yet, get them into preschool, check out the public school website for your area and see where they can go. Here in Texas (not sure if it's the same in all states?) you can go to public preschools free if you have a special needs child, or are low income.
I first had my daughter evaluated at 2 because she was not talking, so definitely have your child evaluated. Google "ECI services" for your state and they can come to your home and do an in home evaluation which I found to be much more accurate than going into some lab to be check out. You will get a much more accurate picture if they first evaluate in your childs comfortable setting.
Sorry to threadjack!!!
I'll add some of my goals just to get back on track :D
- I've been able to get our family out of a huge hole of debt and past due bills, this is my biggest accomplishment!
- I've been able to pay all our bills on time for 2 years in a row now, with money left to spend
- Now I'm saving to move out of this house I hate, into a much nicer house next summer
- After that I'll be saving for a down payment on a house :)

I've been stripping for three years and camming for 2.5.
Stripping did worlds for my self-esteem and self-image. I was married for a few years to a guy that had almost no sex drive, and he told me that my sex preferences were weird. This on top of his lack of sex drive made me incredibly self-conscious. I have always been a fairly confident person, but hearing that I'm weird from the most important person in my life put me in a bad place emotionally, even though I knew that my preferences were far from weird. (If you've seen the movie Secretary, you'll understand my preferences)
I grew up poor and I've lived on my own since I was 15. I could barely afford to eat, so anything that didn't come from a thrift store and Aldi was pretty much out of the question. I lived on $.17 cans of chicken noodle soup for three years. Even working a normal 9-5 with decent benefits and an (otherwise) supportive partner, we were still scraping to make our mortgage payment, pay for our son's daycare, and afford necessities. I got divorced, stayed at my 9-5, and was still scraping by. I visited a club one night to see if dancing was something I thought I could do. I quit my job, and within a few weeks, I was financially stable. I got to keep my son home with me, I could afford a house for myself (my ex kept our house), and I bought a brand new car. Fast forward three years, and I own my own home, my son is in one of the best Montessori preschools in town, I rent a house on a lake, have two paid-for vehicles, wear designer clothing, and have tens of thousands of dollars in the bank. And I still only shop at thrift stores for almost everything, including the fancy clothes. Stripping and camming totally turned my life around.
