Anybody else think the 'Innovation That Excites!' slogan would be better suited for a Hitachi advert than a car commercial?

People are have been so polite and courteous lately. For example, I was at the grocery store in the spice aisle deciding between 2 items and this gentleman walked in front of me and said "pardon me". I think it's the holidays.

If that is indeed you in the pictures, might have been a little something more than the holidays. Just sayin' ;D

It's appropo for Nissans. Nissan & Toyota don't make bad cars. In fact we bought a used late 1980s Nissan coupe years ago & the only thing that could kill it was a collision (someone ran into it when it was parked on the street.) When my nephews and neices are of driving age I will make sure they have an import to drive- they are safer and cheaper to own once paid off that some of the American cars in the same category.

Sorry for the product plug, but I just love that brand & their new slogan.

Oh, I wasn't knocking the car or the brand, I drive a Hyundai myself & would recommend them to anyone! I've also briefly had Nissans as rental cars & have no bitches abt them either. I just saw that Nissan ad while surfing SW & the Hitachi comment I posted was the first thing that popped into my head.

I love my boyfriend for many reasons but giving me access to his USA VPN is up there... I can now go onto the American version of Netflix which has soooo much more stuff, watch stuff on Prime on US Amazon, and my favorite site for illegally uploaded videos (that I watch shows that have new episodes coming out every week on) just got blocked by our internet provider but I can watch videos on it with the VPN. He also introduced me to Torrentz which is pretty awesome as well. I love dating someone technology obsessed (especially because I am so poor at it).

one of my co-workers told me about the world's most perfect rental agency. one girl told me her studio with everything included is 750 in downtown, which is an AMAZING deal. I checked the website just a few days ago and nothing was listed, I checked again tonight and there's another studio downtown w/ everything included for 725 and I am absolutely dying to get this place. I need to confirm that I'm out of my current place by March 15, it shouldn't be a problem but I'm afraid the owners will be difficult since I wasn't here very long. In any case I'll pay to pay rent 2x in one month and I do not care, I must get this apartment and I can give them a check asap (even though I think I am actually out of paper checks, sob). Will have to figure it out.

We are only on day 9 of 2015, and ALREADY when I see the year "2015" written or on the screen, I feel like it is a past year. Like I am back in time in the year 2015. It doesn't look right or feel right. I feel like I should be in the 2020's by now. What the fuck is wrong with me? Time displacement?

I don't have that much cash on hand right now...I was so burned out I didn't work all of December and I don't have a home club to jump to right now. I'll have to figure it out or pay a shit-ton in ATM fees, would be totally worth it though. Praying I get out of my current place March 15 still.

Audrey, I know how he feels...my mom was a Clique counter manager for a couple decades, then she ran shoe departments at 2 or 3 department stores.

When my wife and I were 1st together, and I was about 19, she needed an office acceptable outfit for a speech she had to give at college. I took her and her bestie shopping, everything off of clearance racks....they got A's.

I also have only had about a dozen zits in my entire life.

The really weird thing is my mom was a driving instructor before she got into retail. That means she had a Commercial Drivers License and she could do Make-Overs.

What's the book?

The pillars of the earth by Ken Follett... It's a historical novel (usually not my type of books) but I like the way he writes, I read some of his thriller books and loved them... So I'll keep reading it and see where the story is going I guess...

I don't usually like cop shows, but Criminal Minds, at least they usually do everything they can to get the "Psyco" to surrender and get him help.

I also like Dr. Reid and the fact that AJ is so fond of him. I like the "smart guy gets the beautiful girl", aspect to their interaction.

I am so fucking creeped out right now.

Last week I got a message on okcupid from some guy that was to the effect of "Your stripping won't get in the way of my life as long as mine doesn't get in the way of yours" and it was fucking weird and I panicked for maybe 30 min or so until he sent another message apologizing saying he realized he came off as creepy and he doesn't think online dating is for him.

Anyway I forgot about it until tonight I looked at my Okc page thinking about editing it and I saw text in the "how do you spend Friday night?" section which I had always left empty. It had the default text and then something crude about stripping that I definitely did NOT write. And I have no fucking idea how that got there. I have my okc account on auto login on my android and laptop, even if it was my roommate he'd have had to gotten through my computer password. Does anyone know how logins for microsoft laptops work? Because when I first moved and we were being nice to each other he set up his computer so I could login to my stuff on his. But he wouldn't have been able to get my password from that right?

Yes, he would. If you didn't delete your profile from his computer once you got your own set up he will be able to log in as you. All he needs to know is your password for your profile on his computer. If he set things up to auto complete and auto login for you on his computer, he will be able to get into any of your accounts you accessed on his computer.

At a minimum you need to go to all of your accounts and change every password, and not tomorrow morning, but right now.

^^^^Ageed.
If you logged into OKC and had it remember your password it will still be there. As administrator he can access quite a bit of your security info depending on his setup.

Might not hurt to ask him if he did it. He may have thought it would be funny and stepped over the line. If he's a techno geek, some of them don't see social boundaries in the same way.

He is still using my computer!!!!!! What the fuck!! I changed all my passwords except the one to login to windows (I know I should have done this before, I couldn't figure it out and I passed out the last 2 nights). Anyway I logged in today and in the top bar there is a small tab that says "You" with a yellow caution sign next to it. I clicked on it and a popup came up saying "Share your computer? Customize chrome to how you like it!" What a fucking mental case. I'm going to have to start taking it w/ me to my day job, and Idk what I'll do when I start at a club again, it's too cold to leave it in the car.

Today I had one of the best days of my life. It started with a trip to Disney World with my kids, who had a fantastic time. You really start to see things through their eyes when you see how such simple delights make them so excited and really light up their faces.

Later, when we returned home, it was pizza and nachos night because, of course, the Pats were playing in the AFC Championship. My kids, who are usually required to eat a balanced meal and to be in bed before 8, gorged on this junk and were allowed to stay up until the game was over, which just topped off their day for them perfectly. It is nice to be able to spoil them once in a while and I know that the two older ones will likely remember this day forever. :)

The finale to this wonderful day, of course, was the beating that the Pats put on the Colts. My kids got several touchdown dances - a tradition in the Dugan household when the pats score a TD, lol.

I wish I could relive this day over and over, but I suppose if every day was like this then it wouldn't seem so special. :)
