Gotta stop watching so much Criminal Minds, I'm getting paranoid! But isn't Matthew Gray Gubler just the most beautiful man in existence?

He reminds me of my nerdy nephew so I quit looking at MGG...that way.

I like the show. It helps normal people understand the ...um, twists of the criminal mind.

Totally Random, totally funny- I may be a super distant relation to one of the actresses on an "NCIS" show. However I kind of disbelieve her concept of how to identify certain groups of Jews (her lineage is from a small Jewish community....we have that in common but I think that group is mis-counted for some certain reasons.)

Only a professional on the topic could say for sure. Anyhow it's funny.

One of the movie channels recently showed Stephen King's "Cat's Eye (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqzTazrYx5M)." I hadn't seen it since I was a kid. It's an anthology of three stories connected by a determined cat's journey to protect a little girl (played by Drew Barrymore) from an evil troll. The first two segments are adapted from previous King short stories and are okay in a goofy 80's way. The third segment, which makes the movie worth seeing, features the cat, General, as he arrives at the girl's home and confronts the troll. It airs again this Friday on Encore something or other.

Also, the end theme is awesome (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfvwmnClMCI).

Anyone who has had a Greyhound knows how quickly their farts can clear a room. My girl's gas has gotten better over the last yr since we altered her food, but when she lets go, she still LETS GO. When she is audibly flatulent, we like to have a little police-style fun at her expense. Last nite went a little smtg like this when I was petting her:

:: squishy audible fart followed by dit-dit-dit-dit mini-farts ::

-- Shots fired, shots fired radio, send me backup!
-- Whaddya got out there?
-- Be advised that Suspect is in possession of chemical weapons & has zero fks to give abt using them!

:: Dog slinks out of the bedroom & goes to her water bowl. She knows she's being made fun of::

-- Suspect last seen crossing southbound across the living room, en route to intersection of Kitchen & dining room.
-- all backup units, proceed w/ extreme caution … ::by now the low-hanging fog of fartgas is beginning to spread:: … suspect is to be considered armed & extremely dangerous.

The 'morning report' was as follows … 'Suspect tried to disappear into a thick green fog but was apprehended at approximately 22:00. She went down w/o a fight. No casualties except for two potted plants and a nearby waterbug that inadvertently crossed into the line of fire.'

Anyone tried generic cartridges? I can get a full set of six- plus an extra black- for $15 shipped on Amazon. That's a couple dollars more than one Epson cartridge. The mixed reviews make me a little nervous. Some say they are poor quality, some say they don't work at all, and one or two say they actually ruined the printer. I suspect those may be sinister Epson shills.

Even checking "black/greyscale" in the printer options won't let me print text, despite the black cartridge being completely full.

Where is the outrage?

Warning- sad, triggering post

I was reading about the Green River Killer (Gary Ridgeway) & I had this indescribable feeling of gratitude and relief that in my dumb "baby stripper" years I had never tangled with anyone like him. I was so dumb and carefree and reckless in those years. I was reading about him b/c someone on reddit claimed many years ago (in the 1980s) they were approached by Ridgeway with a f-ed up offer but the person refused, thinking it all sounded way too sketchy. Little did that guy know he was talking to one of the most prolific killers in known history. (This happened where I grew up so the story caught my attention.)

Spent most of my day off today, feeding my Sims2 addiction. I hardly even really play w/ my toons anymore, I just play w/ the architecture, building houses & whatnot.

Today's project was recreating this local landmark as Sims-accurately as possible, including the cookhouse & the outhouse. Unfortunately I chose a lot that's too small to recreate any of the other outbuildings -- carriage house, etc, but other than that & a few modern bathroom/kitchen fixtures ... Success!! :D

Now if only the Sims gardening choices included a Spanish lime tree …

My two school age children brought home nearly perfect report cards. They are young with a long way to go, but it is a damned good start. Now I just need to keep them focused as they get older and some of those social pressures start kicking in.

But for today at least, I'm just going to enjoy it! :spin: :tube: :drum:

So happy to find someone who understand my Sims obsession! I'm a Sim Freeplay girl and I fucking love that game so much. I entered a house I designed (that's what I really like about the game, that and dressing them up) onto a competition they had on Facebook and got flooded with friend requests from pre-teens, which made me feel so ridiculous for playing the game as much as I do (and despite being called Freeplay, I've probably dropped a £80 on it over the past six months), but I love it.

I went to the store today and I bought a couple of ribeyes. I don't own an outdoor grill, so I'm searching the internet for the best way to cook them. I not the best cook in the world. A while ago a girl friend of mine wanted to introduce me to some guy she thought was hot, and said that she thinks she and I have similar tastes in men. I recalled her boyfriend who she ogles, and I was like umm... lol

I don't find any of my girl friends' boyfriends attractive, because IMO they're not fit. It makes me wonder if my standards are too high. I don't want a gym rat, but I like it when a guy is toned and physically capable. Not... pudgy or skinny-fat. Then I wondered to myself, "what can I do to be with a guy who takes care of himself"?

Then I looked at my friends. I realized that they're not fit either. Then I looked at myself. I remember that when we were young, we were skinny without working out. We're still skinny, but in a skinny-fat way. I think our early 20's is the time when our lack of exercise starts catching up. We didn't have muscle definition.

So I decided to start toning myself up as well, and on top of that actually learn pole tricks rather than just swaying slowly/awkwardly around the pole. I want to be fit to have a nicer body, and up my league lol

I have an electric wok, it cooks rib eyes GREAT! My fav steak cut btw. The electric wok is by Wolfgang Puck I believe? A famous chef. I got it from the shopping channel, (sorry I forget which one qvc or hsn, I think it was hsn tho).
It gets very hot, you have to be careful. It chars the outside, but the inside is nice, tender. I usually cook mine med. rare to slightly rare, w/the outside charred. I like it better than any outdoor grill, & it's easy to use.
