I must be missing something? Someone insisted Jim Carrey was such a fantastic comedian in the 90s, so I watched a couple of his movies over the past few nights. While they have a moment every now and again, they didn’t strike me as funny. It seems as if this guy just made a career out of buffoonery.

^^Gen difference. Watch Liar Lair or Bruce Almighty, if you don't find those funny it may be because of the way you process entertainment streams ... we only had one at a time, so we kind of invested mentally in a movie. Post 2000s do what has been called "entertainment snacking" where you enjoy little tableaus like memes and various microdoses of different offerings without having to engage with one in particular.
Like Tinder for entertainment.

At the tow company, one of the trucks we operate is a medium wrecker - basically, a downsized version of what they tow tractor-trailers with. We’ll tow RVs, school buses, U-Haul and Penske trucks, even bobtail tractors (lifting from the rear) with it. And you can always tell I’m absolutely NOT what they’re expecting when I roll up in that. Which is funny, but annoying at the same time, because they get this compulsory need either to play armchair quarterback or to try being ‘helpful’ - in both instances, they just get in the way.

It’s hilarious and I thank them for the 16 minutes of entertainment.
They should do another Debate....slather themselves in Bengay and Vaseline then debate it out inside a wrestling ring. And put that ish on pay per view

My random thought: studying for the math part of my teas test. It’s actually fun! I feel like with how crazy the world is it’s nice to escape into a logical world that’s predictable and makes sense. It’s oddly comforting right now to do math problems for hours and forget about this crazy world.

Hallmark movies are so kitschy and predictable. If they made a drinking ga,e based on predictable “Hallmark moments” in them, there’d be a surge in deaths from alcohol poisoning.

They used to play the Hallmark channel in my doctors waiting room. I didn't know what was worse, being at the doctors or having to sit there for a few hours watching the Hallmark channel.
Why does everyone seem to have a dead parent who died in a car crash on the Hallmark and Lifetime channel movies?

^ Fun fact ( **don’t quote ** ) I do background acting for Hallmark.
You can see yours truly in some of those cheeseball scenes !
Agreed. They are hard to watch sometimes haha.
It’s always “ big city girl returns to home town “.
I’d love to see them expand . Same gender cheese ball romance perhaps ? Lol
There are some seriously funny YouTube vids going over the “ Hallmark Template “ if you want a good laugh.
I also recommend the movie Holidate as a raunchy alternative. I thought it would be all holiday Cheese Ball but it’s funny.

And let’s not forget that a kid - even if neither have one of their own - has to get worked into the mix somewhere.
Though I kinda feel like maybe I shouldn’t be so critical. The photographer who did my photo shoot… I asked about the idea of doing a shoot with a funeral motif. Kinda wanted to have an idea of how I might’ve looked at my funeral, but I didn’t tell him the reason it came to mind. Kinda felt like I took a little bit of a verbal beating with his response. He refused to do it, and gave me a bit of a spiel about how he aims to make something that’ll cheer people up, it’s been a really fucked up yesr, etc. And I suppose I understand that. And I suppose I have to kinda step at, look at and understand Hallmark for what it is, and take that into perspective.
He’d also listened to my album and was critical of how bleak and negative it was. Sorry, dude… I’m not a Hallmark kind of girl.

Posthumous sperm retrieval (PSR) is a procedure in which spermatozoa are extracted from a human male after he has been pronounced legally brain dead. There has been significant debate over the ethicality and legality of the procedure, and on the legal rights of the child and surviving parent if the gametes are used for impregnation.

I finally hung the last piece of art at the large AirBnB.
I had a decent budget and gave local artists about 50% of the sales. To keep the costs down I couldn't go fully local but I plan to rotate the cheaper pieces out as more reservations happen in the next 4-5 months.

If autonomous cars were to become the norm some day, would speeding tickets and auto collisions be a thing of the past? This is assuming that there would be advancements in A.I. that enabled it to be that smart. Would these vehicles use biometrics in order to start them like fingerprints? What would be preventing a kid from going out joyriding at midnight when everyone is sleeping? What about those auto "dream cruises"? Would people have to program their car to drive in a continuous loop for hours? Things I think of when I have a whole luxurious 24 minutes to myself.

As is, I believe so. Right now, even with the car parked and completely off, but with keys in the ignition, you can get tagged for DUI because you’re in actual physical control of the vehicle.

Dui's are the police departments bread and butter. They make the city so much money to stop a good thing. Only reason I was interested in getting a Tesla was putting it in self drive so I can nap/get ready in the car while it drove me through traffic)...That dream died when you are required to be at the wheel (sober & awake) so there really is no point of a self driving car (Tesla self driving cars are so unreliable too. Wouldn't want to be in an accident because of my vehicle malfunctioning.)

It is livestock feed.
How much do the round bales cost? Anywhere from not worth cutting and baling, up to $100 a bale. It is a matter of supply and demand, with rain the determining factor for supply. I think what I have now was about $60.
