Tera Patrick loves Hello Kitty.
And that is fine by me.
I think its fine...our body ages but we will always have that inner child in us.
As long as its not a unhealthy obsession...as with anything....to each their own.

How do you feel about grown women (20+) and hello kitty? Do you wear Hello Kitty?
I see this on occasion and really have to wonder how these women expect to get taken seriously.. what is the significance of Hello Kitty?
A grown woman in a Hello Kitty necklace? I've even seen women who have tattooed Hello Kitty on their body... :-\
Am I missing something? Is it an inner child thing?
Charlize Theron quote: “I’m pretty amazed by Hello Kitty. I see so many women in their 30s walking around in Hello Kitty shit and nobody is concerned for them … [Is it] the one iconic teenage symbol that seems okay for women in their 30s? The world seems to not have an issue with it …
That exact quote - she couldn't have said it better. I can't stand the Hello Kitty craze. It's for women that think they're princesses, it seems.

My Asian friend girls dont think their princesses...they just love HK.
I think being Asian...liking Hello Kitty is a default setting.
Heck I have a Hello Kitty house key...it sits in a locked drawer though and never sees the light of day. I bought it just to have it....and nobody knows I have it...well besides you guys.

My friend has a Hello Kitty tattoo with a bunch of cupcakes and rainbows and shit, and the phrase "Forever Young". When she got it, I wanted to slap her. She defends it as being "a reminder of her youth".
I think it's a cute design and is marketed verrrrrry well, but not worthy of tattoos.

lmao thats cute, funny, and bad at the same time.
But to each their own...if she likes it and it makes her happy then great.

Women like me who love Hello Kitty aren't childish, cutesy, have issues, etc. We just love HK and don't give a fuck what others think.
There are many, many products marketed to adult women that are made by Sanrio. From thousand dollar jewelry sold at Neiman Marcus to lace underwear made by Hanky Panky. Rain boots that are black patent leather- no pink or white patterns, just very chic with a small HK face embossed on the top.
I know the typical stuff sold at Walmart or Target is usually what people see the most and it has to be the 'typical' look to attract the most customers regardless of age and that's fine. The more discerning types like myself get our Kitty fix elsewhere. :)
Charlize doesn't have to like it, and that's cool. It's hardly an important issue what grown women choose to spend their own money on.

I just think it's fun and cute. Plus I love cats :) I have quite a little collection and I enjoy it. Who cares what other people do? There are a lot worse problems in the world then grown women getting joy from liking a cartoon animal. Geez..
