Hey Jacqueline,

Now with all the information that has been supplied, I would be quite tempted to use a room as such, except that I don't live in SF.

I don't live on my own and with a room mate situation and tenants around, I personally think there are times where it would be nice to know that I can isolate myself for my job. Since I mostly cam from my bedroom nowadays, the space feels like a work space, which is a little ugh because I want my bedroom to be my personal space.

Anyway, I don't discourage you to do this, it's nice to actually have options available for us to work in as camgirls. At least I think that it is.

Also, are the cubies secured? People can be crazy in general and steal so... I was just thinking about that.

Insulting someone on a personal level is never something to laugh at. If that means I have no sense of humor that is okay with me. If I see someone being bullied and persoanlly attacked, especially a new girl who's coming here for thoughtful replies, then yes I am going to say something. If you would rather me not call you out on it I'm okay with just flagging your rude threads instead. I think it's silly to waste our moderators' time over people who don't know how to keep personal attacks to themselves but since this appears to be an ongoing issue then maybe that's just how it has to be.

Now back on topic, once again, Jacqueline, what kind of timeline do you have for your new site idea? And good luck withyour new ad, I think you are going to have a LOT of people just at $20 for 3 hours!

Op, I just wanna be clear: Aside from the hackers comment, and the price, i think the space itself is cute, but a little dark. if you lit it up a little more it would be awesome, and I think charging $25 or $30 for a three hour block makes a lot more sense, because some days are just..slow. There's no two ways about it.

Interesting thread.
Unfortunately, the video seems to be no longer available to me and I'm late in commenting....
But I think this is a REALLY cool idea & I'd LOVE if places like this could pop up in many different locations for one specific site, kind of like the OP is talking about: Start a site, host sites for girls to cam from... I think it would REALLY make camming seem more like a real job and it would bring models and everyone closer together, which I get all kinds of wet for all the time. Anything that involves bringing me closer to the people that I can relate to, I get all blushy and giggly over, so I really love the general direction of the thought process here! Like ANYTHING, there will be bumps and bruises, but she'll get through it! Ballsack or no ballsack, I commend your courage, your drive, and your post! (That was meant to be funny, please, no hard feelings!) :)

(PS -- I also want more info on this new cam site if/when its possible!!)

I agree with Vela, I think it would be really great if there were more physical studios throughout the country where girls could go to cam- assuming they aren't rips off like most virtual studios. I also cam from my bedroom, but living in a 1 bdrm makes it really difficult for me to truly relax from work. I actually sleep in the living room just so there is some type of separation of work and play. Plus when you live with people who may not know about or approve of your camming, it might be nice to pick up a few shifts elsewhere when working at home may cause problems.

Okay - Thank you everyone for the changing tone! I have popped in and out of "forum/support" sites on and off for since I transitioned and I seem to have people attack me everytime. Idk if it is something about me (I m threatening or something?) - but whatever. Thanks Courtney - I appreciate your trying to mediate that.

The Lighting is bad! It is going to be fixed. I ordered barndoors and more gels that haven't arrived. I also have a friend who does lighting for photoshoots as a living who's going to help. I hope that makes that clear - I also mentioned it in the video.

My goal is to have the site focus on cam - maybe a sorority house or some other theme. With each being able to promote themselves through any social media they want on their profile. But also promote them through the site twitter/facebook/etc. Think the lusty - only an online peep show. Create a bit of a story(drama!) and have that be the lead in for shoots that would be sold on the site, clipsfsale, or something. I want to to have a femme focus queer/trans/cis I don't
care and neither does the market that wants ethical peep shows. Girl on your show has a sack? - find another model that suits your palette. Girls keep a sane amount of the profit. 50% - or more. I mean who gets naked here? And bandwidth is not that expensive anymore.

I am terrible at webstuff - but there are a bunch of people around here that are amazing! - I should have be a stripper lol. I am learning - I choose the name woods because I totally was a country hick that spent most my life in the woods not online :). I am unsure of a timeline - I would just say - when it gets done. Because it needs to happen before it isn't possible because the bigboys have too much grip on the market and do something under the facade of "ethical."

I want collaborators more than anything - I will filter if I have too much interest, but I have had zero response s to the.- ad yet. I get it - I am new. No trust of me yet. Without sounding like too much of a wiener - being ts in SF as a sex worker you have few options in this community Diva's cam-model indy escort. None of those put you in with the majority of community. I m also a bit reclusive :) - but I am here.

Right now I just want some cam models in the same space! So we can actually talk and work on something. Collaboration. Then start doing things

I live in the contra costa area, and I've been having issues doing cam from my living situation. I might be of interest renting out space, but I need to know the type schedule will get from vanilla job, and I will know the answer next Thursday. In the meantime, I do have questions important to know about your studio.

A few question about your studio:

What will be the hours/days allowed to use the studio ?

How close from Bart in walking distance going to your studio ?

Are you going to do background check on the cam models ?

I have no problem doing out of safety issues think it recommend to do.

I notice from your post about you will do reference check that's good. I don't expect you to reveal the questions asking, but I would like to know if the questions not be linking out doing adult cam work.

Do you allow for the cam models to bring their own laptop and webcam ?

I have laptop and webcam just would need internet connection

Do you have sound proof walls ? If the wall not sound proof, will you allow for the cam models to play background music as long it not extreme loud ?

Are you open to all ethnicities and cam model body sizes renting out space ?

I read your ad and you're open to all genders just would like to know if the same apply to all ethnicities and cam model body sizes.

7am - 2am 7 days a week - will see what hours are grabbed up and work from there. will make a google drive doc.

civic center bart/muni is literally less than 5 mins away.

considering background checks. I will be doing reference calls - and don't worry discretion is not lost on me. I don't think it is a necessary topic for the line of question. I want to find the character of the person.

music is fine - there is a subwoofer even! the folks around us will have their doors closed and their own playing. Might sound-proof the outward wall.

I would love to have any size/ethnicity model use the space. I will have to to a fix on the door to have it open the correct direction - it is a tight squeeze right now but an easy fix. It will be done.

Thanks for the interest.

I seem to be accidentally cutting things out. here's the rest of the message

I would love for you to bring your own laptop and camera. My camera might be staying unless others want to bring theirs more often - then I might make some things available for a small fee: laptop, camera, the locked drawers of the dresser so some can leave outfits and stuff here.

OH yeah! there is laundry here too! forgot that bit.

THe internet here is soooo fast.

Yeah - people do do that. I am requiring references and leaning strongly toward background checks. I am going to put locks on the dresser drawers, so those that use the space the most can rent them bi-weekly or monthly. nothing can be done about the cubbies - I would like to think that nobody would steal someone else's toys - but . . . I really cannot say for sure. I will know who is there and when. So if we report those things to me I would know when it happened most likely. I have a massage studio downstairs, and will be in the space monitoring people to the best of my ability most days.

Seems like a marvelous idea. Esp for those who do not have a safe place to cam. Sometimes ppl have to pay the extra price to hide or work silently with out kids/family/distraction around.
(Excuse me as I had to jump through some posts as they where becoming a bit childish , so if this has been touched on, please excuse me, I become blind to ignorance, HINT LADIES!)
IMO the price 20 for 3 hours... seems reasonable. Cheaper than a night club. I'm going to give you my opinion about "NEWBIES" (Vet Cammers know what they are getting into)

For Newbies(VIRGIN MODELS) may I suggest this: 1 week free to get to know the hustle. and/or charge a deposit for that week so you don't get stiffed. (Maybe 60.00 for the first week?)
Of course a contract and when they are reliable ( a trial period maybe a month or two, we all know they drop like flies if they are not successful) If they don't last you keep the deposit and if they do last a while they can either use that deposit to pay for camming or just refund it, most will use it to pay for camming. This way maybe you can attract more newbies.
Its just a suggestion.

Disclaimer: Attack my post with dramatic bullshit and I'm in your inbox like a gyno.

I agree that the $20/3 hr fee is a good idea, way better than the original price.
Collaboration is what could make this an awesome thing. I didn't read EVERYTHING but I'm getting the idea that you will be using already available camsites and the site is up to the performer?
I think by getting the right group of people in there could be a lot that could become of this. From past projects I've had I know that starting off with at least 1-2 other people with a lot of experience and know how is a good way to get started.
Having a few available rooms would be a good idea with interchangable decor/backdrops. I can tell when girls are from the same studio overseas because of the setting and I know other viewers can and that actually turns them off a bit.

I would think advising girls to bring posture pillows would be a good idea too. I cam and sit in a desk chair. Camming on a bed would kill me so perhaps recommend that.

Also note there are Domme/Fetish cammers so having some "darker" decor could be a major plus or getting a local Domme in on this may be wise. It adds more to the mix. The more diversity, the better. Good luck to you.

When does it open? Like what date?

I am thinking something like Jan 15th - enough time for me to get some others interested. I want to get a few little things done. I need to flip the door, get the lighting figured better(it is good enough now for me to make money - but it could be better), and I want to get the models that are most interested together for a few meetings. There are other spaces in this building that are available and I would like to possibly get one or two of them as well. It is way more affordable than elsewhere in the city - but I need more people involved to make a move on them.

Someone made a comment on using other camsites: I want to get a group of cam girls to be the feature models/ owners of a cam-model site owned by us, and have it branch out in a similar way as streammate does, girls from around the country with profiles on our site. But right now, yes, we are all going to use the other cam sites, or if a girl has her own site she can do that.

I just think that cam-modeling is isolating, and we are getting a really bad deal from the popular cam sites. I want to bring some folks under the same roof so we can share ideas and give ourselves a better deal. I enjoy camming and I do it less because a regular job is more steady - it shouldn't be like that. I also think it is just a good Idea to have spaces specifically for camming. Maybe even build other ones in other locations here in SF or in other cities and provide the space to cam and a fair site to work for. That is totally long term, but I know other models talk about it. I think the thing that really keeps it from happening is that we are isolated from one another and it makes it really hard to make anything happen.

No offense but yeah, sanitation is key, I totally saw her ballsack in the video lol.

This was really rude of you. I know that you're a better person than this, so I'm shocked to see you say something so rude. If you saw another cam girl have a nip slip (or ball slip) on cam, wouldn't you write her PRIVATELY and tell her, instead of announcing her business to the world? You came off as transphobic and made us look like a very unwelcoming place. I'm disappointed.
