Let's throw all negativity we feel out the window and dance life is to short. A lot of the people here we will never met so remember what is in print can be misconstrued.

As far as negative try going to work as the boss of 30 ppl in a kitchen your the only women and blk. which they choose to remind you of it every chance they got. When I get frustrated with ppl in the industry I say to myself if I dealt with that I can deal with anybody and anything.

Now Let's Dance and do what the guy told me last night

I'm a newbie to this forum, but not to the adult industry. I can see how it might seem like some people are being snarky if they just direct you to another thread. This actually happened to me, I had already used the search function and read the exact threads that the person directed me to and since I didn't feel they answered my question, that's why I started a new thread. However, I did not say that and still thanked the person for giving me that information, because they took their time, even if it was just a copy and paste, to respond to me, and I always appreciate anyone who does respond because that is time they could have spent doing something else (we all have things we *should* be doing!).

I will admit that it annoys me though when someone just joins the forum for 1 day to ask a very selfish (in my opinion) question that could have been found using the search, or a question that is something along the lines of "how can I make the most money with the least effort and tell me all your secrets while you're at it please!"

I don't think anyone likes to feel used, I think people like to feel appreciated and be given something in return, whether it's a kind thank you or contributing to the forum in another way. I have tried to make helpful posts and contribute what I can in return of my gratitude for the people that were kind enough to take the time out of their day to help others.

Ideally, in my world, if someone is new it should be a combo of asking for advice as well as contributing. For instance, if you've never been a camgirl before but you work in finance in your vanilla job, you could post useful information in the Dollar Den, or if you're a tech wiz help others in that area. Everyone is good at something and has something to contribute and I think that goes a long way.

"Give and you shall receive."
