I love Larkin and what she has done for all of us in this thread, but I'd love to hear from those with a clips store that only do non-nude, fetish clips with no femdom/slaves, etc. Solo fetish stuff, like the aforementioned bubble gum blowing, etc, and is making bank. Thanks in advance!

That would be a completely different thread, this one is about Love Larkin and her store...you need to start a new thread for that.

It can't be stated enough here: thank you very much for posting this information.
- What video editing software do you use?
- I see that you post content daily. Do you typically film content on a daily-ish basis, or do you dedicate, for example, two or three days out of a month to film all of the subsequent month's content?

How many releases do you do a day and do you do multiple file formats? Right now I am averaging around 6 a day and do 2 different formats (so technically 12 releases a day).
Right now I am netting about $1,000-1500 a month. Would like to break in to the 6 figures!

I use Adobe Premier Pro to edit. It's expensive and has a bit of a learning curve, but I really like it.
I usually film 2-3 days out of the week. The content that I create is very story intensive and acting intensive. There's no way I could film my whole month's content in 2-3 days a month. I also have two stores, so that doubles the number of videos I need to keep 'em fresh. That said, you could probably get away with filming once a week if you wanted. I just have health problems that keep me from shooting more than 5 hours in a row.

That's a LOT of releases per day. I'm surprised you aren't making more money. May I ask what kind of content you're creating? I only release one new video per store per day (2 total per day) in 5 different file formats. I'd love to see your store, if you'd be ok with linking me.

I use premier pro as well. Great software! I have FCPX as well and it keeps on crashing and I lose all my work! Grr. So I switched to premier pro.
Ladies, some may tell you to bootleg it, but honestly IMO that's a waste of time. Believe me I tried and you could literally waste hours/days trying to find a legit copy that actually works. And as you know time is money and quite frankly I have better things to do then sit around searching torrent sites for copies that work. So instead I went out and bought it from adobe.
Instead of paying their flat fee for the software (I think its something like $799) I went and joined Adobe Creative Cloud. You pay $30/month and you get EVERY Adobe product WITH ability to update! Yup great value for $30/month...photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver, after effects, premier pro, etc etc. Further more it's a legit version you get and not just through the creative cloud (so if you are offline you can still use it). You get full support as well. For $30/month you really can't go wrong.
Here is the link. It says $49/month but I was able to get it for $29

Mainly toilet humiliation stuff. I have been #1 in the category on more then a few occasions. Never made it to the top 50 on the whole site though.
I only do .mov and .wmv file formats.

Thank you so much for starting this thread =) Do you have a youtube? ad how long would you say it took until c4s was your main source of income? I have also been stuck at the $1,000 per month mark. And yes please please share more about your file storage. My laptop/external hard drive is a mess. I store the gif's I make, plus the video and they are everywhere lol. I found that creating my own gifs can add time especially when uploading lots of stuff as I need to edit them then convert it into a gif. It has slightly increased my numbers =/
I would LOVE to buy any ebook, videos, anything you make. Sign me up! lol

I don't have a youtube. I used to, but then they shut me down. I didn't even do anything that questionable. I guess my pornstar status made me a little too notorious to be frolicking in underwear.
Within 4 months of opening my first clip store, I was making more than my former modeling/porn income. There was a huge income jump between month 3 and 4. By the 9th month after opening the first store (2 months after opening the second) my income jumped again. My husband was able to quit his job and work full time on the clip store. By the 12th month after opening my first store, I was making the income that I claim in the title of this thread.
Why did my income increase over time:
- My fan base grew over time. I've done a lot in the last year and a half to reach the public - interviews, articles, appearances, etc. I'm getting through to them.
- My library expanded with every update, giving fans more things to buy.
- Right from the first month, I meticulously followed purchasing trends and tailored my shoots to what sold most AND had the least investment - both in time and in dollars - to shoot. Less investment equals more shoots for your resources. More shooting equals more updates. More updates equals more profit. Don't make "cheap" videos. Use your resources intelligently.

Any update on the book? Dying to get my hands on it :-) the most I've made a month was around 3k and it wasn't consistent. I really want to break that 3k cap and do well. My biggest issue is organizing my videos and their gift because i have no real system and over 300 videos lol.
But again thank you so much for posting this thread as its treasure trove of knowledge.!

Attention but how many videos do you shoot in a day and how many minutes minimum per video ? Also I only have a flip camera ATM and I have the lighting kinda but is it ok to start with a cheap camera and lighting? Cause that's all I have ATM but later I want to get my dream camera ;) anyways thank you for creating this thread I am looking to replacing my part time job as a dancer/ porn actress and make my own way. Also did you feel confused when you started because I do lol .. Again thank you :)

I'm still working on the instructional videos. I've been so busy making fetish pr0n, I haven't had time to edit them! When they're ready, I'll make a bit announcement here on stripperweb, my twitter, my website, etc. It won't be a big secret. Thanks for all the input, guys.

Like the comment above mine, I'm curious about pricing too. Any clips I have are pretty short (less than 5 minutes), some are less than a minute. Other than going by the price per minute that myfreecams charges for private shows, I have no idea how to price videos. Or photo sets. Any help on this would be really appreciated.

I now I have a release date on the instructional videos! They will go live on 8/15/2013. I'll make sure to do more announcements as we get closer to the date (and once I finish the website at which they'll be available). Just wanted to give everyone who is interested a time frame.
Thanks for everyone who contributed to this thread! I hope you guys like what I've cooked up.
My stores just keep doing better and better. "Larkin Love's Fetish Theater" is now in the top 10 on Clips4sale's leaderboard. I just found out the other day that Clips4sale wants to bring me out to FetishCon this year in Tampa, so if you want to talk to me personally, be sure to stop by their booth! I'd be happy to answer questions.

I've found that having a variety of length videos has helped a lot in my sales. Not everyone wants to buy a 20min video but having some in there has really seemed to boost my sales. Perhaps its because I stick with the $1 a min pricing typically - so its a bigger amount when it does sale. I add an extra $1 on my 1080p hd videos typically.
As for pic sets. I uploaded like 2 pix sets and realized I got barely any hits coming in for pix plus I just had to deal with some imposter posing as me by using a bunch of my pix... so just not worth it to me to sell pix.

I basically started my first month of clips4sale last month after reading this thread. I did almost 3k which I'm sure isn't much for someone like Larkin but I thought was a great start.

Ive had c4s for years and never made more than $500 in a month... I do non nude fetish/femdom content, solo, pov but I find it becomes redundant. The "bikini dommes" seem to make a lot of money, always at the top of the listings but they also just seem to say the same thing over and over just in a different coloured bikini...
Id love to make $1000-1500 a month but I just cant think of content, I think it's time to branch out into other fetishes, it would be awesome to work a couple days a week and make that kind of money, let alone 6 figures...

This month I've not had as much content to put up. Family issues has made it difficult for me to find time to shoot but hopefully I can catch up. I've also played around with adding new fetishes but I think that's been a problem for me since my store hasn't been making as much as last month so far. I think I need to stick with more of the content that's been working well for me and try my new content in a different store.
Perhaps I should get myself to the gym more and a tan and get my ass in a bikini. I'm still slowly getting back my pre-baby body. On the plus my tits are huge!
I've also noticed that having other people in the videos seem to help the sales versus just being alone in a clip.

I am curious, and if you don't want to answer here you can DM me, but to get into the top 50 on c4s... what would you say your average daily sales were? I've been working on c4s for a long time now, but have just recently started really buckling down and researching, etc. I agree with you 100% that most of the time you don't even have to get naked or do anything that would be considered "main stream" porn to make money! I couldn't even believe it. My idea of porn has always been what anyone thinks of when they think of porn... chicks getting naked and getting fucked with huge cumshots. :) Anyway... I just really have always wanted to know what the average daily sales are to hit even number 50 in the top 50? Thanks so much!

I just read this message, and now admire you so much more than I already did. I, too, have health issues that prevent me from working a "normal" job, and also prevent me from being able to function at a level that would be considered "normal". I have nothing but admiration for anyone who is struggling with any kind of illness or setback, but still does as well as you are.
Thank you for this post, you have inspired me so much!

I film 2-3 days a week - but that's only because I have chronic illnesses that prevent me from working longer. If I could shoot for longer than 2-3 hours at a time, I'd get all my shooting done in 1-2 days. I update my 2 stores with a new video each, every day of the week. So that's 14 new videos a week in terms of content. I always try to make my vidoes at LEAST 10 minutes long. If guys are going to buy it any way, you might as well max the sale.
I don't recommend putting up cam shows often. Most consumers hate recorded cam shows. A cam show vs. a clip has a lot of "dead air" time. It doesn't look as polished. It's just not a good idea. They are low-quality videos - unless you can do some very clever editing and trim all the fat. (Note, I'm not talking about shooting clips with a webcam as your recording device. That can work fine. I do that on occasion.)
You can certainly replace camming if you want with Clips4sale. I used to cam years ago, and never made as much as I do now. Clips4sale requires a lot of careful thought and savvy, but once you know what you're doing, it has much greater returns than camming. Definitely a "work smarter" kind of platform.
My last post was supposed to quote this message! Sorry :)

6 figures a month? as in $100,000 a month net profit or more?
so this means you get how many orders daily? 500 per day?
I make a six-figure income on clips4sale, working 20-30 hours a week from home. Really. From clip sales ALONE - and yes, that is my take after clips4sale gets their 40%. I opened my first store (I have two now) in December of 2011, and within a year, I have completely replaced my income from any other source. I am the only employee of my "company," aside from the occasional camera-man.
Over the last year, I have extensively tested and refined techniques for making the maximum amount of money from my clip sales. I want to share my knowledge with other girls who are interested in creating a store or who want to improve an existing store's performance.
My clip stores: and if you'd like to take a look. The first store is regularly featured in the top 50 in sales out of all clip stores. Both stores are in the top 50 in numerous categories, and #1 in a few categories as well.
I'm currently writing a book on how to replicate my results. What kind of information would you like to see covered? Which specific questions would you like addressed?

If it was a year I wouldn't even mention
how many daily orders/sales does one need to make to get to 5 figures monthly with your 40% share c4s pays you?
also, the studios that are in the top 10, can we assume they all make 6 figures monthly?

I do not make six figures a month. (That would be a million dollar a year income! I wish that were the case, but I can tell you right now, you won't make that on clips4sale alone. Not even at the #1 spot.) I make six figures a year. My husband, who also works for my little company, makes just under six figures a year as well from our profits. We have a pretty fair split set up, according to what work we each perform. So, two great incomes come out of my stores, and we don't have to work for anyone else.

This question can't be answered straight away. It all depends on how much you're charging for your videos.
